was SO excited when bush's came to my side of town. had it some time back over on 78 and it was hot, fresh and juicy. dont know about other locations, but TO & NACO location have been garbage lately - and i dont use that term loosely. i try to always be fair in my reviews, and have given both these locations tries at different times on different days of the week. on recent visits, chicken strips have been stingy small, overcooked snd not very good. rolls have been very brown and overcooked, okra has not been good. tonight, i asked for a 3 piece mix - asked for breast, wing and leg with okra. order taker repeated my order when i ordered and when he delivered it. got home, had breast, leg and thigh - hate thighs, so frustrating. didnt matter though because it all tasted like it had been under a heat lamp forever. chicken was so dry it was inedible - and i mean inedible. could not chew it. they are out of tries from me. read more

Went at 12:33 on 6/23 and got there, and noted to the staff member (a bald gentleman wearing a black cross necklace) and he said "you and everyone else", seemed like a little joke and before we could even finish ordering he said "27.77" and we said "oh we have more" he was sighing and grunting, my mother said "no need to be rude" and we just left without finishing our order due to this rudeness. He was aggressive, rude and shut the door as we were leaving. He did not want to be there, handle coupons or customers. Why even put out coupons if staff don't even want to honor them? I usually come to this location after getting my hair done. Today, I came in and ordered a meal. It came out to almost $18. A gentleman wearing a black shirt that had general manager on it told me I would be charged a 3% service for using my debit card. I, in all times of visiting this restaurant have never been charged 3% before! I could see if this were a small "mom and pops" restaurant charging a fee to use debit cards. I will no longer come here! With outrageous food prices, you think they would see how ridiculous it already is trying to charge a 3% charge because someone decides to use a debit card. They're nice and crisp, seasoned just enough and still tender under the crust. People who eat gizzards...y'all know know what I'm talking about.! Chicken tasted like really old grease, coleslaw tasted like it is about to go bad & salty, roll was only half a piece. My ice tea had NO ice whatsoever. Property was so dark that business didn't even look open from the street. Why management doesn't close this location and put the employees who obviously don't want to be there or want to wait on any customers save themselves and it's few customers from any further misery is a mystery. WHAT happened to this place??? I used to frequent this location a lot about 1.5 yrs ago. Was back in the area and stopped to grab some lunch. What an odd experience. Upon walking in, there are NO PRICES on the menu board. My order came out to a little over $10. No problem, I get ready to pay and the cashier/manager guy says "oh we charge a 3% fee for using ANY type of card to pay". I said "huh?" and he repeated the fact that it would cost me 3% above the actual cost of my purchase in order to patronize his establishment. Such a bottom of the barrel attempt at a money grab.
