I really wanted to like this place, but it just wasn't very good. The restaurant is decorated so cute and looks really nice. However, the food is lackluster . I ordered the peach cobbler french toast, egg benedict, sage fries, and a mimosa flight. For starters the mimosa flight was served with warm/room temp champagne. We politely told the waiter and he brought back out another flight, but the temperature wasn't improved by much. Next, we had the peach cobbler french toast. I will say that the French toast was pretty good and I did enjoy it, but I probably should've just stopped there. We shared the Benedict and it was just covered in tons of arugula, it was basically poorly poached eggs with arugula. The arugula was not dressed, it was dry and piled on top of everything. Finally, we had the sage fries. The fries were unsalted and more aromatic than tasty. They were as underwhelming as the Benedict (both were also pretty pricey. $15 for fries!!!). The restaurant seemed pretty busy, so maybe there are other good things. But, I think a side order of fries can tell you a lot about a restaurant....in this case the fries (much like the food) were overpriced and underwhelming.

was really excited to come to this restaurant because it went viral on Instagram so came for brunch a couple of Sundays ago with my friend and we were really stoked to try a couple of things on the menu. We had the fried burrata which not only lacked flavor it came out cold with no bread on the side so when we cut into it, it was just a thick lump of cheese and it was not ooey nor gooey to say the least. tbh all of our food came out lukewarm. We received the potato frittata smoked salmon, which would have been good if it had salt and pepper or any seasoning for that matter and the potato was remotely heated up. something that also threw us for a loop was that all the food came out at once so we had our appetizers and entrées which was four different meals come out for two of us all at one time. since it came out warm already it was cold by the time we were able to try most of our food. We were really excited for the peach cobbler French toast - that was very dry and also lacked flavor and sweetness, and we tried the prosciutto sandwich which was very chewy. Best thing on the menu where the fries that came with the sandwich. our drinks, we got the aperol spritz that we had to send back because it did not have any alcohol in it, and the basil lemonade tasted like it was a fountain drink not a crafted mocktail. Service was nice, but the bar took 20 minutes for our drinks which we ultimately sent back and the kitchen forgot our bread which we never got until we asked for it. Our server was very nice, kind and sweet. There was nothing he could really do to help the situation. will not be going again until they work out the kinks of being a new establishment.

Butterface sits in a location that has been a couple things including a BBQ restaurant. The inside is well appointed, nicely done. We didn't have many issues with the service other than a missed-step on one of the items, otherwise she was very nice. What works here? The ambiance, very welcoming inside and at the bar. What doesn't work here is unfortunately the food. First, they carry only one type of vodka which is uncommon for a full bar. We ordered the whipped ricotta which had really good flavor, but served with bread straight out of a wrapped loaf. Wrong bread, not toasted or even warmed up. So that kinda ruined what could have been a strong dish. The breakfast sandwich was like warm, very little bacon, and an abundance of arugula. Couple that with non-toasted soggy bread, and it is not really edible. Served with that sandwich was shoestring fries which maybe could have salvaged the sandwich however, they were undercooked. I've run into thin shoestring fries being overcooked many times, not sure I've run into soft undercooked ones before. Lastly was the eggs in purgatory. It consisted of 3 eggs, the same bad bread, and way too acidic marinara sauce - code for out of jar. It also had to be remade as we ordered without goat cheese, but the first batch obviously contained it. That is not a $24 dish by any stretch. We really wanted to like this place especially since we're familiar with the history of restaurants in this location. First impression when arrived was that it was going to be a winner, but unfortunately not for us.

Okay, talk about a hidden gem! Butterface is one of those places that you are unsure of because of the quirky name, but let me tell you once you walk inside. Any doubt you had will be swiftly swept away. For starters you walk in and you immediately feel underdressed. But that is definitely not the case. This place has a very cool, swanky and elegant vibe to it without being overly stuffy. It's super comfy, very casual, but everything is top notch. Our waiter Arnold met us at the door and escorted us to our booth. The place had some very nice ambient music playing, and we had a great view of the entire place. They do have a couple TVs up by the bar in case you want to keep up on sports or a movie, and that did not take away from the Elegance of the place at all. We ordered the peach and goat cheese bruschetta, and I am so glad we did. Dare I say that this was the best bruschetta I have ever had in my entire life! Now I've had bruschetta, but this one absolutely steals the show. The Christmas and sweetness of the peaches combined with the balsamic vinegar and goat cheese is absolute heaven. Do yourself a favor and make sure you ordered this! The next thing we had was a salmon on a a bed of potatoes... It was more like a potato nest, but holy cats. That thing was off the chart. I wanted to keep eating it but I was already full and did not want to overdo it. It was absolutely scrumptious and you would do yourself a disservice not to try it. I have to brag on Arnold for a minute. Having been a waiter at multiple restaurants, I know the importance of customer experience. Arnold absolutely nailed it! He was super friendly, just chatty enough, and always checked in on us but not being overbearing. I have to say he made the meal even more enjoyable which is a rare thing to find. In this day and age where where customer service has thrown out, the window, butterface delivers in spades! They are top notch. They were on it and you feel like you're in a very elegant restaurant. Bottom line? I will absolutely be coming back. The one complaint, I'll be at a small one, was they were out of the lemoncello tiramisu. I loved her massoon was so looking forward to it. I told Arnold how sad I was that there was no tiramisu and he brought me a small glass of their lemoncello from the bar. That to me is customer service. Seeing the needs and wants of the person you're waiting on and meeting them above and beyond expectation.

First time as it was suggested by my friend. Loved the decor and friendliness of the staff. I ordered the standard breakfast . The eggs had to be sent back to get some more time on the fire. The potatoes were very tasty. The peach cobbler French toast was incredible! The cinnamon mascarpone was home made and it was not too sweet. They do not carry regular granulated sugar packets.

Tried the 2 egg breakfest and the Breakfest skillet. We substituted the fontina cheese for goat cheese on the skillet. Great flavor but very greasy. Pools of oil in the Breakfest skillet, which was disappointing.

Service 9/10 Front desk 1/10 Food 8.5/10 Make sure you have a reservation or the front desk will treat you like a pariah. Arnold saved this restaurant. He was overwhelmed and they did not have a designated server for the patio. But he treated us like royalty. He earned the fourth star for this restaurant. The food is delicious. We all agreed. A party of 6 seems a lot for them to take care of. We saw 2 couples come in an hour after us and get their food and drinks before us. We didn't get drinks for a half hour. Not Arnold's fault. He was getting things to us as fast as possible.

I can certainly say this restaurant deserves 5 stars, in fact it is a 10. .A truly pleasant experience from the chic ambiance to the service. The food was excellent, the omelet was so tastful. how eggs used to taste, so fresh. The patio dining was perfect, on a perfect day, on a perfect timeline. Gia, thank you for such a fine establishment an experience that will be a favorite in my book along with my time traveling co-writer that was also impressed.

This place is very cozy. We liked our food, i tried the prosciutto benedict, yum!!! Along with latter which also really good and a sage truffle fries that felt bottomless, big serving of fries that it looked like we didnt even touch it tho we been eating it. My friends loved her rigatoni. Chicken and waffle is okay, might not get it next time. Our server was nice, did his job well and very attentive. This place is worth a try.

Cute spot we decided to come for Mother's Day! Can't wait to come back for more of their drinks and the French toast! Food: We ordered quite a bit! I had the chicken and waffles! The waffle was so fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside. On top was a perfectly seasoned sage fried chicken! (Maybe they can consider using tenders next time?) And it was finished off with powdered sugar and hot honey! The rest of the table had: Mom had Porchetta Breakfast skillet, Lola had 3 egg Omlette, husband had Vodka Chicken Parm, Dad had Italian Classic, and our sister had prosciutto Benedict. The best out of all the dishes had to be her Prosciutto Benedict. The rest of the dishes were just okay. We would order differently when coming back here. Maybe trying more of their dessert breakfast options. Drinks: I had the mimosa flight! The strawberry sorbet was the best one! Mom had Pistachio Martini and she said the flavor was very good! And sister got mob wife! She said she loved the gin flavor with blackberry syrup! Service: Our server was very tentative to all our needs. He was funny, personable, gave good recommendations and always filled our water when he saw it was empty! He did a great job in serving us especially on a very busy day as it's Mother's Day today! Ambiance: The decor gives modern brunch aesthetics with warm Italian-inspired touches, It creates a space that makes you feel like you aren't in Vegas but a cute Italian inspired escape. I also appreciated all the natural light that pours into the dining room!

The interior space was welcoming and mildly upscale. - Service was gracious and intentional. - My Eggs in Purgatory were delish -- good balance, perfect serving size, warm and lively spice. - My wife's Peach Cobbler French Toast was gorgeous to behold. But alas, the chef had thrown in a bit too much of the mint and/or lemon zest, probably meant to offset the inherent sweetness of such an undertaking. I appreciate that attempt, but the resultant flavor profile felt busy and over-composed.

Butter board... did not meet expectations

This place is way bougie than the name portrays. My friend chose it based on the name alone and we were all a little surprised when we showed up. Prices are on the high side, which isn't a problem but it does raise expectations which I don't think were meet. Some nitpicks; -no kids menu (we asked) which is not unusual but not even a suggestion from the waiter of off menu options (a side of 1 pancake or single egg or something) and I got the impression the waiter was annoyed I even asked. Definitely a missed opportunity because there were many families with children in the restaurant. Stuff we ordered; Butter Board --so sad; because of the price ($18) I had high hopes of a beautiful butter board like the kinds I've seen on Pinterest. And what I got was two piles of butter and 6 pieces of bread. And the butter wasn't delicious, whole thing seemed like it was haphazardly put together. Charcuterie Chips ($14) -- I don't know what this would be but it's potato chips with prosciutto, some shredded cheese and a few clumps of goat cheese topped with some honey. No olives, fig jams or pistachios like the menu said. I feel like the chips were store bought and if there were no chips it would have been a sad sad charcuterie offering. Silver lining the kids loved the chips. Mini Breakfast Calzones ($15) -- these were delicious! Super tasty. Served with marinara which was odd and little unnecessary. Definitely a favorite! Some other items my group ordered -Chicken and Waffles (teen said it was good but not $29 good) -Breakfast sandwich (good sized portion, looked delicious) -Butterface Breakfast - 3 folks ordered the all said it was good but nothing special -Peach Cobbler French Toast (probably the best entree ordered, very pretty tasted good; but I think the graham crumble is literally just crumbled store bought graham crackers! -Biscotti Parfait (nothing special just Greek yogurt and some fruit, way over priced for what it is) All in the all it was a nice basic experience, the service was okay, the food was good. In my opinion it's not worth the price and you can likely find the same kind of food cheaper elsewhere or even pay the same price for more unique options somewhere else.

We arrived shortly after the restaurant opened on June 18th. We ordered the Prosciutto Benedict and Lemon Poppyseed Pancakes. The Benedict was delicious. I wish I could say the same about the pancakes. The drizzle was wayyy potent. The pancakes were undercooked in the middle. We brought this to the attention of the server and he had the pancakes remade. They were still undercooked in the middle. I presume it was the manager that came over next and offered for the kitchen to make regular pancakes. They too were undercooked in the middle. Weird experience for sure. Was the batter days old? Bleh. This review is for how staff handled the hiccup. Everyone was super polite and really wanted to find a remedy.

We stopped in for brunch and the experience was a bit of a mixed bag. Upon entering, we awkwardly watched two waitresses debate over who would serve us...an odd start that didn't set the best tone. The decor, however, really stood out with sage green walls, striped booth upholstery, and breadstick centerpieces. The details were charming and had a thoughtful, feminine touch that made the space feel warm and inviting. We ordered steak and eggs, the porchetta skillet, and a side of focaccia. Unfortunately, the service dragged. We waited over 20 minutes while others who arrived after us were already eating. It gave the impression that our table wasn't a priority. When the food finally arrived, it was a letdown. My steak came medium to medium-well, even though I ordered medium rare. The eggs were solid, but nothing special. My husband's porchetta skillet was disappointing. It was all one soft texture when we expected the crispy bite that makes porchetta delicious. The focaccia was heavily toasted with too many herbs, giving it a crunchy, overpowering flavor that wasn't what we hoped for. Overall, Butterface has a beautiful atmosphere and potential, but the slow service and missteps in execution kept it from being a great experience. read more

Came here on a Sunday afternoon as we were in the area. I order the pesto pasta and my wife order the quiche . The issue was the service . They lost our order so after 45 minutes them came to us and let us know about it and asked for our order again . It came out 10 minutes after that. They did offer us something free from the bar however we were both not drinking . The pesto pasta was good but quiche didn't taste super fresh. not worth the price . They did have a 22 all you can drink spritz deal but I don't think we'll be back to try it read more

We had a 1pm reservation on Mother's Day. When we arrived, I noticed the bar area/ counter top covered with dirty glasses from previous guests and overheard the host telling in-coming patrons that they were no longer accepting walk-ins. Our hostess that seated us, also took our order and said that the bar was a little behind and that it would take about 20 minutes for cocktails. (I wanted to order the mimosa flight but didn't want to wait 20 minutes, so I ordered coffee). This was around 1:15 when we placed our food order.....1:55 and still no food. Our waitress apologized and gave us a small plate of fries to tie us over. Apparently, the kitchen was backed up too. But, I kinda got the impression that they somehow missed our order as guests seated after us received their orders shortly after ours. I was really looking forward in trying this place out, but felt that the prices were a bit pricey for the value (seeing that it is off the strip and not in a hotel). I did enjoy the peach cobbler French toast but I wouldn't recommend Butterface to my friends just based on that. read more

Staff greets you fast and checks in at the right moments. Orders arrive on time. Plates look fresh and well prepared. Food quality impressed me. Strong flavor. Good portions. Ingredients taste fresh. I had an amazing experience at Butterface! Our server, Amy, was beyond helpful very friendly, patient, and attentive. She gave great recommendations, and the service was timely and professional the entire visit. The ambiance was beautiful and honestly picture perfect. It's a great spot for photos and a relaxing meal. The food presentation was immaculate and really added to the overall experience. I'll definitely be returning and will be recommending this place to friends. Five stars all the way! read more

Trying to be too upscale and forgetting customer needs, you fail. We were seated at a table 2' away from another table of 4 patrons. When I asked for a table a bit farther away, I was told that it was reserved for another party of 4. We were the only two tables in the entire restaurant plus two people sitting at the bar. We ate our breakfast and no one showed up for the "reserved" table next to us. No refills for our coffees and the food was so so. Customers first people. Word of mouth is how you attract new customers. read more

Ambiance, service, and cocktails were good. The food was average to us though. The charcuterie chips made us legitimately lol when we seen them. Literally looked like a bag of kettle chips thrown on a plate with the toppings clumped on top. We were expecting something different and more appetizing. We hardly touched them since we weren't trying to eat just potato chips. If the toppings were more evenly distributed across the chips it would've been a little better. The mortadella sandwich and prosciutto arugula pizza were good. Prosciutto Benedict presentation was nice. Overall we just weren't impressed by the food and didn't love anything we ordered to want to return. read more

Pretty place. It's overall a good experience. Chicken sandwich with potatoes and a water, after a 20% tip will run you $27.00. The sandwich was good, not amazing. The potatoes were good. Friend had the salmon on a potato cake and that wasn't good. Waiter was nice. read more

OMG!! I LOVE THIS RESTAURANT! Immediately when you walk in it's breathtaking! The pinstriped green couches and the black tables and the forest green saddle chairs with the olive trees decorating the restaurant make you feel like you are in a modern outdoor setting. The staff was so friendly and the restaurant was very clean! Our waiter Arnold was attentive, funny and so helpful. We ordered cocktails. I ordered the autumn sangria and my friend ordered the lemon spritzer. It was like having Thanksgiving in a glass and summer in a glass. They were the best cocktails I've had in a while. We then ordered our meal and I can't say enough good things. We absolutely loved the lemon poppyseed pancakes in the butternut squash soup and the fig prosciutto arugula pizza was fantastic! I enjoyed myself immensely, and I can't wait to go back and try more of the items on their menu. I know this place will be loved by the community!!! read more

"Our 11am brunch turned into 2pm without us even realizing -- that's how good Butterface is." Butterface is one of those rare places that makes you feel so comfortable and taken care of that time just slips away. The space is gorgeous -- marble tables, chic lighting, greenery, and a stunning wine wall with a private dining area that feels like something out of a design magazine. Even the silverware and matching glassware show the attention to detail. The bar is beautiful, modern yet welcoming, and adds so much to the overall vibe. The team is just as impressive as the space. Eve, the Chef, is incredibly talented and creative -- every plate shows her passion. Gia, the Owner, came out to personally introduce herself, which made the whole experience feel warm and genuine. And Theresa, our server, was amazing -- attentive, friendly, and the kind of person who makes you feel like a regular on your first visit. It's hard to believe Butterface just opened because it already feels like a polished, established spot. Between the atmosphere, the service, and the hospitality, this is easily one of the best places for breakfast, brunch, or lunch in Las Vegas. Great Sunday brunch! Lots of different tasty turns on old staples, prosciutto eggs Benedict and peach cobbler French toast. Both were huge portions and very yummy! We also sampled the variety butter board, peach bruschetta and the mini breakfast calzones. The service was great, besides the waitress, there someone always coming by to refill drinks, remove empty plates. The restaurant was bigger than expected, patio to the side and two good size rooms. Kinda trendy (?) and very clean and neat. Definitely going back to try lunch/dinner items! read more

Went here for the first time this morning, won't be the last. I had Biscotti parfait and took some of my friends peach cobbler French toast. Both were really good. The parfait was gigantic. It came in like a big goblet. It was like eating dessert for breakfast. Fresh berries, almonds, Greek yogurt, honey. I give the parfait 10 out of 10. The peach cobbler French toast was very good. My friend didn't finish it so I took the rest of it home. I will be eating that for dessert later. The portions are very big for everything we had. My other friend had an egg sandwich with potatoes on the side, I just took one of the potatoes I gave them a thumbs up. Next time I think I might try the fried burrata. We recently visited Butterface Las Vegas, the city's new Italian-themed brunch spot, and while our experience had a few bumps, the food itself was absolutely outstanding. It's clear the restaurant is still finding its rhythm -- the service was unfortunately slow, and one of our orders never arrived due to what seemed like an overwhelmed kitchen, which is understandable considering it's still their first month after the grand opening. The staff was friendly but visibly stretched thin, and we could tell they were doing their best to keep up with a busy brunch crowd. That said, the food completely delivered -- every dish we did receive was top notch and full of flavor. We ordered the Prosciutto Benedict, which was beautifully plated with perfectly poached eggs, creamy hollandaise, and that delicate salty kick from the prosciutto. The Cappuccino was smooth and rich, exactly what you'd hope for at a cozy brunch spot. The Lemon Tiramisu was light, bright, and refreshing -- a creative twist on a classic dessert that we loved. And the fresh-squeezed orange juice deserves a special mention -- vibrant, naturally sweet, and full of sunshine in a glass! Despite the rough edges in service, we can see a lot of potential here. The one thing we were really looking forward to what's the peach cobbler French toast. That was very bland and extremely disappointing not to mention still raw in the middle. Holy cow! We had breakfast there. The food was really good nice sized portions we had the skillet with Pachetta (spelling) which were nice sized chunks! , we did the butter board yum and the French toast with peaches! Stopped in for a quick breakfast. We were sat down almost immediately. The ambiance was chill and even a little fancier than I thought it would be. The restaurant was moderately busy for a Monday afternoon. We enjoyed the BUTTERFÁCE BREAKFAST & the NUTELLA TOAST. Both were very tasty. We had excellent service other than the waiter never bringing the hot sauce for my potatoes and eggs. That was ok though, they tasted good without the extra sauce. The bartender Teresa was the most amazing person you're gonna find on this side of Nevada. What a wonderful spot! Some friends and I stopped in for a birthday brunch and had THE BEST service. Chef Eve came to greet us and answered all of our questions about the fabulous menu. She added the perfect touch to everything and is such a strong representation for the restaurant. We ordered the lobster ravioli, bruscetta, and eggs benedict. The guava mimosas and the sangria were so light they provided the perfect refreshment for our menu choices. Everything was delicious and perfectly cooked and plated. The brunch specials were on point and the birthday cake Gelato was the perfect toast to the birthday girl in our group. Today was our first time eating here and our server was awesome and the food was really good. Big portions. Might consider going back. Our reason for the 3 star was we heard what we believe to be the manager yelling at the cook while he was preparing food and using foul language. As guests we don't need to hear this. It was a calm atmosphere when we walked in but changed quickly. Also they had 2 girls in there who were influencers supposedly and we feel if you are going to use them to promote your business do that before or after business hours. Don't interrupt our meal and quiet time for stuff like that. It was distracting for us at least. Maybe next time I can give more stars. Not sure if management will actually take comments seriously but we shall see in the future. read more

Found this place by accident after our usual was jam packed. Lucky to have such a happy accident. Service was amazing and our server Arnold took great care of us. It's probably tied with the burrata. My drink was fabulous. The music was cool and we were having a great time. The sando was also delicious, he shared that they make their pesto in house. As a pesto fan, I just became a bigger founders fan! Mom's drink was also amazing. We told him not too sweet, it was delicious and not overly sweet. He said he did 25%. All I can say is, my daughter teared up when tasting the Prosciutto Sandwich - she was overcome knowing she had just taken a bite of the best sandwich she had ever tasted! This restaurant is so pretty, the staff is attentive and the food is delicious. I imagine I'll eat my way through the entire menu. We started with the Whipped Ricotta, which consists of bits of olives, pistachios, almonds, capers, honey, lemon zest and more. It came with thinly sliced, toasted ciabatta. Then came the Prosciutto Sandwich with it's fig jam and balsamic on light, airy focaccia. There is a nook for about 12 people and a separate banquet room for about 60 people. There is also a bar with about 6 seats. I can't wait for the patio to open! We love this brunch spot. The esthetic and atmosphere set the tone as soon as you walk in the door. Staff is attentive and sat us right away. What really made our experience great was our server Arnold. Arnold was fast and efficient and communicated well. He took into consideration we were a small party while he was taking care of a large party and never forgot about us. Kept drinks and water full and checked in regularly.
