Before I began the thoughts of getting engaged I had no idea how anything worked in the process of getting an engagement ring. I didn't understand the different cuts, band designs, widths, process or anything. I was very cautious and My expectations for a jeweler were extremely high but CJ David jewelry far surpassed them. I couldn't be happier with the amount of attention they put into the jewelry here. I had my wedding band cleaned, tightened, buffed and straightened, antique redone on side of ring and dipped in a metal protective coating and made smaller to fit better. The work was done quickly and professionally. My band was returned in better then new condition. It was buffed to look new plus the dents were removed. Diamonds cleaned, buffed and tightened (over 200 of them now are safe from falling out). The ring was also made smaller. I was a little skeptical at first but it came out looking even and now fits way better then when I first had it made. No more worrying about it falling off. In the end they are going to have my business forever and I will recommend them to anyone that is looking for a jeweler that takes pride in his work. Very upsetting when you take a watch to be fixed and was changed a lot of money to find out later nothing was ever done to the watch that I paid to be fixed. I tried to call the owner/manager left many messages and NEVER returned my call. C j David took my money and never did anything to fix the problem with the watch. I took it to a honest jeweler that fixed the problem and had to pay for this work to be done again. I will not recommend C J David I would run and take your money elsewhere to accompany that is honest. I brought my wife's I love this place! I brought my wife's engagement and wedding rings in recently because some of the small diamond chips on the bands had started to fall off. We talked to Amoura their designed and were so impressed we actually decided to have her redesign the wedding bands to be more sparkly and fit around the wedding band better. This was our first experience with custom jewelry and we were a bit nervous. Amoura was great to talk to. She made a 3D model of it and after a change or two it looked great so we went for it. The end result of what Amoura and David produced surpassed our wildest expectations. My wife and I love it. She keeps staring at it, smiling and saying how she feels like a millionaire. She jokes that if the light hits it just right she will probably blind other drivers on the road. They did an amazing job at a great price. I have a jewelry store grade cleaner in my home and I was doing my usual wedding ring cleaning and I noticed one of my little pave stones fell out, thank God it was in the water. Because I am obsessed with my ring and our Jeweler is in Los Angeles I went to my boo Yelp and started searching for someone to fix it. I made several calls to other places and they were real shady and even mentioned they needed to send my ring off, ummmm noooooo. I called CJ and the lady was so pleasant she told me they have 3 jeweler's on site and to come by and I will get a quote and go from there. I walked in and said Hello and she said you called earlier about fixing your ring. I loved that she remembered the conversation. She looked at my ring and showed it to her jeweler. He then quoted me two options one to fix it and another to fix and make it look completely brand new which cost more. I choose the more expensive option because my ring is like my other child. It was only $60.00 and was ready in an hour. They were fast, precise, and handled my ring with love and care. I took my wife's wedding rings to be fixed and resized (she had to have them cut off due to pregnancy) The two ladies that helped us were extremely friendly and knowledgable. David Khong is the Owner/Jeweler at CJ David & Co. (Katy). May 2017: Two (2) pieces of jewelry were sold to Mr. Khong, a broach and one (1) earring, (diamonds on both). Mid-November 2017: Spoke with Vivian and she would try to locate the earring. "Told me to follow-up with her. Didn't want me to think she was abandoning me.."  I never heard back from Vivian. NO answer for multiple days W/OUT a Voicemail service. November 2017: Less than six (6) months from the date of sale, I found the matching earring, which would have completed the set. Mr. Khong was able to locate the original earring, which was still available. Mr. Khong was NOT interested in buying the matching earring and was "happy" to sell it back to me for three-four times (3-4x) the price from of the original sale. Amazingly enough, no pictures were taken at the time of sale.   I very much wanted to buy the earring. This particular piece has a personal, sentimental value to me. Mr. Khong never comes out from the back of the store to discuss anything! Instead, he sends the ladies who work in front to do the dirty work for him. The outcome, I am left with one earring. Mr. Khong has the other earring, which, most likely, will be melted down with the exception of the diamond.  I absolutely do NOT recommend this jeweler!   He's a THIEF and ONLY is interested in the almighty $$!! read more

This happened a couple years ago but I wanted to share the story. I brought my friend in and she was handicapped (she had brain cancer and has since passed away). and she wanted to get her ring sized and they said 1 to 2 weeks was the typical time it would take to get the ring. We were in on a Saturday and they called the following Monday to tell me that her ring was ready ! In just two days the ring was ready!! And one of those days was a Sunday.
