Another amazing dining experience! Came here for a business dinner with colleagues. The ambience was great. My only qualm is that there is an inclosed section off of the dining room that allows cigar smoking. I'm not a fan of cigars but it wasn't a deal breaker. We ordered the shrimp cocktail, oysters, and fried lobster tails as appetizers. I ordered the daily special which was the 14 oz Wagyu and it was cooked to perfection! A bunch of shareable sides like the creamed corn, broccolini, Brussels, and other items. Ended with a few desserts including the chocolate ganache cake. Service was top tier! I will absolutely come back next time I'm in Alpharetta

What an experience! I called ahead to remind the service staff that we were celebrating an anniversary and they did not disappoint. The ambiance was incredible. Pretty lighting, beautiful and clean bathrooms, and they even had a cigar bar! We decided to split the rock crusted ribeye and it did not disappoint! My family recommended this spot to me and we are very glad we made a stop here we will definitely be coming back.

Visited during a restaurant week and were very impressed. Great service, and the menu of calamari, filet and choc cake was perfect. My mid-rare filet was a touch overcooked but that's being a bit picky. We will definitely return soon.

Hubby surprised me with a surprise date for our anniversary! So I had no idea where we were going. I've never heard of this place or knew what to even expect. Parking: free valet parking First impression: I was not very impressed to say the least lol. As soon as you walk in, there is another door to a cigar smoking room. It's very faint (to some, not me) but you can smell it. And I know most people who come here would know that but I had no idea. It reminds me of being in a casino restaurant lol. But otherwise, the place has old school vibes and upscale ambiance. Food: Fresh Oysters 10/10. They're huge! Cabernet sampler: included 2 fried lobster tails, shrimp cocktail, & crab cake. Delicious! 22oz bone in ribeye medium rare. It was cooked to PERFECTION. I love that didn't try to get fancy and salt the heck out of it. I hate when my steak taste salty. Creamed corn: 6/10. Brussels sprouts: 5/10. Good flavor but we wished it was crispy. Overall: I'd probably come back. But asked to be seated somewhere on the other end away from the smoking room.

This place is very nice and very fancy. There is valet parking or you have to pay for parking if you don't do valet. Overall the food is pretty good. The filet was great but the ribeye was tough and dry. I wasn't a big fan of that. The twice baked potato was AMAZING. It was so good. The creamed spinach wasn't that great. I would personally skip that side. The crème brûlée and peanut butter chocolate cake was great! I would also like to shoutout Lemonte (not sure about spelling) but he was honestly the nicest waiter I have ever had. He was great and he represented this restaurant well. It was fantastic service.

I recently came here for lunch and it's been a while since I ha visited but was the perfect meeting spot for my friend's bday this past week. The decor and feel are upscale and classy. Lots of great choices for healthy eating off the lunch menu. Located Just off 400 exit 11.They also have a wonderful dinner menu. Our server was quite polite and accommodating and made great choices for us. We definitely will return.

    Filet medium rare was perfect!

Excellent dinner at Cabernet this week! This was my first time dining at this restaurant in a few years, and it's still as good as I remember. Sitting inside you feel like you're in a great steakhouse and the meal lives up to it. Our party of 4 each ordered steak. I went with a 12 oz filet, medium rare, with brandy peppercorn sauce. Outstanding! The steak was cooked perfectly. Sides of creamed spinach, twice baked potatoes, and mashed potatoes, made for a memorable meal. We had to of course, order a nice bottle of Cabernet, and Brandlin from Napa Valley was perfect. If you're in Alpharetta and looking for a great dinner, I highly recommend Cabernet!

We got the Prix Fix menu and it was good. It would have been better if the steak had a little crust on it. The wine pairing was perfect. Our server was extremely knowledgeable on the wines.

From the moment we walked in, the ambience, attention to detail, and professionalism of the staff immediately let me know this was going to be a special evening. The atmosphere is elegant, upscale, and sophisticated without feeling stuffy, and the overall vibe is perfect for a date night, celebration, or simply treating yourself to a great dinner. Now let's talk about the FOOD! The bone-in ribeye was phenomenal. Beautifully prepared, incredibly flavorful, tender, and cooked exactly the way I wanted it. Definitely one of those steaks that makes you slow down and appreciate every bite. The crab fried rice was another standout. Flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and packed with crab. It wasn't just a side dish sitting next to the steak, it could easily hold its own as part of the meal. And the lump crab cakes? Absolutely delicious. Heavy on the crab, light on the filler, with that perfect golden finish. If you're a crab cake person, do yourself a favor and order them. What really took the experience to another level, though, was the service. Everyone was attentive, professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely focused on making sure we had a great experience. There was never that feeling of being forgotten or having to chase someone down. The staff stayed one step ahead without hovering, which is exactly what excellent service should look like. Eddie V's understands that fine dining isn't just about what's on the plate. It's the entire experience. The food, ambience, presentation, hospitality, and attention to detail all came together beautifully. 5 stars without hesitation. The bone-in ribeye, crab fried rice, and lump crab cakes alone are worth coming back for. Add the atmosphere and top-tier service, and Eddie V's has officially earned a spot on my list of favorite upscale dining experiences in the Atlanta area.

I had tried a seafood boil from here a while back, and the sauce wasn't as good as what I've had from a local competitor. However, my boyfriend insisted that we give it another try, so we ended up ordering the Kickin Combo #1, along with a dozen raw oysters and an order of fried oysters and fries. The raw oysters came out first. I didn't want any, so they were for my boyfriend. Immediately after trying the first one, he wasn't happy with it. He said it tasted fishy but decided to give another one a try, thinking maybe the first was just a bad one. Unfortunately, the second wasn't any better, so he sent them back. Next came the fried food, which is never a miss. I absolutely love the fried oysters here. Then the seafood boil arrived, and at first glance, it looked promising. The seafood appeared large and fresh. I grabbed a shrimp first, sucked the head, and immediately noticed a strong fishy taste. I then dipped the shrimp into the sauce, but the sauce was watery and lacked flavor. I tried a few of the other items in the boil, including a mussel, but the texture was extremely chewy. Between my boyfriend and me, we ate a total of about ten or less things from the boil before deciding we were done. Unfortunately, it was not good whatsoever, and I was extremely disappointed. I asked if there was anything that could be done, and the manager offered to reheat it. I explained that the temperature wasn't the issue but the fishy taste and the texture of the seafood. He then said there wasn't anything else he could do besides take 20% off the bill. While I appreciated the discount, it was still disappointing given how much of the meal we were unable to eat. The service itself was good, and the ambiance was chill, especially since we went during dinner. Unfortunately, though, the food quality of the seafood boil and raw oysters overshadowed the positives for me. All in all, I won't be returning.

We have visited this location previously and had a great experience with both the service and food, so we were looking forward to returning while visiting the area. When we arrived, we noticed there was a large party being hosted in the private/back party room, which was nice to see that the restaurant is able to accommodate larger gatherings. Our waitress was also very kind, friendly, and attentive, and we appreciated her customer service throughout our visit. There were, however, a few concerns we wanted to bring to management's attention. First, we noticed several desserts sitting off to the side behind us that appeared to be uncovered. We are not sure whether these desserts had been prepared in advance for customers to order, but if that was the case, we strongly recommend that they remain properly covered or protected at all times. With customers and employees walking nearby and insects potentially flying around the restaurant, leaving uncovered desserts exposed does not appear sanitary or appropriate for food service. We also experienced an issue with the temperature of some of our food. Two of our seafood dishes arrived only semi-warm rather than hot and fresh. We ordered the Pappadeaux Platter with stuffed shrimp and fries. Unfortunately, the fries were cold, and the seafood on top was only lukewarm. This was particularly disappointing because we were looking forward to enjoying the seafood while visiting the restaurant. I ordered the grilled chicken with mashed potatoes and broccolini, and my entire meal arrived hot. Because my meal was served at the appropriate temperature, we were confused as to why the other dishes were not. We understand that different items may require different preparation times, but customers should receive their complete meals hot and fresh. Our suggestion would be to coordinate the timing of the food preparation, particularly with items such as fries, so that they are prepared as close to serving time as possible. Food should ideally arrive at the table hot and fresh rather than having one component become cold while waiting for the other items to be completed. We did bring the issue to our waitress's attention, and she was very accommodating and provided a $12 credit toward the fries. We appreciated her effort to address the concern. However, the credit did not change the fact that my husband and daughter were unable to fully enjoy their seafood dishes because the food was not served hot. We are sharing this feedback because we have visited this location before and had a great experience, so we know the restaurant is capable of providing excellent food and service. Our goal is simply to bring these concerns to management's attention so they can be reviewed with the appropriate staff. Thank you for taking the time to review our experience. We hope our feedback is helpful and that future visits will provide the quality of food, presentation, sanitation, and service that we experienced during our previous visit.

The vibe here was buzzing on a Friday evening which seemed promising. We opted to sit at the bar which I do NOT recommend if you plan on eating. It is extremely tight seating and the bartenders aren't not trained to serve food or have menu knowledge. The lack of the kitchen staff culinary skills became evident when looking at the menu with many seafood/pasta items being served with one sauce- a goopy cornstarch'ish lemon butter sauce. We wanted to try the scampi appetizer with their house made pasta - sans dairy which meant no lemon butter sauce. That seemed to throw a wrench and there was much back and forth between the BT to the kitchen explaining what that meant aka do not cook the food with butter use olive oil- not so complicated, right? 30 minutes later - despite the kitchen staff not being busy- reminder, we are sitting at the bar and watch the cooks looking at their cellphones instead of working... The small portion of a couple shrimp and scallops arrive. They were panned seared- highly seasoned but tasty. Pasta arrived dry ? Huh? Who serves dry pasta- ugh? I asked for olive oil again which never appeared despite a manager hearing the request. So, moving along, we decided to try the calamari. It came out much faster but the portion was enough for 8-10 people. BT- oh, I forgot to tell you it is such a large portion... Maybe offer a half portion? It was okay- nothing amazing except the quantity. So disappointed- we had high hopes that the vibe matched the food quality.

They have house made focaccia that when brought to the table we instantly regretted having ordered the bruschetta, thinking we overdid the bread thing. But we both quickly changed our minds and consumed both with little guilt... I would go back just for the focaccia alone and wish they sold it by the loaf! Pastas are made onsite but they get the gluten free version from a different supplier to avoid risk of cross contamination. Hubby had the wild boar pasta. I had the pork chop. My chop was perfectly grilled and moist. I asked for the marsala sauce on the side since I don't like mushrooms themselves, but enjoy the flavor they can add. The weakest link was the mashed potatoes, served in two round scoops reminiscent of school cafeteria lines. Other than the shape, there was nothing memorable nor particularly flavorful about them. Next time I would try a different side and keep the chop. We didn't save room for dessert this time but will definitely get some next time. And there will definitely be a next time. Moderate price point, not an everyday spot, but shouldn't be saved just for special occasions either.

I ordered the Greggah lobster roll warm with their mustard sauce. It came on a top-loaded, buttery toasted bun filled with warm, fresh lobster. Absolute perfection. I also had the crab balls, calamari, and a house salad. The crab balls had a nice spice without going overboard and were served with a flavorful house-made sauce. The calamari was cooked well done, just how I like it--crispy, tender, and not rubbery at all. The sweet and hot sauce they serve it with is divine. The Louie sauce is my personal favorite. They make almost everything from scratch in-house, including the sauces and their slaw. The slaw is cool, creamy, tangy, and sweet--exactly like the kind I grew up eating. The house salad was generously portioned and full of crisp, fresh ingredients, all clearly prepped in-house. I came back the next day for lunch and caught the house-made clam strips special. I got the clam strip basket with sautéed vegetables--same side I had the night before because they were that good. The vegetables are crisp and vibrant, not mushy or overcooked like you sometimes get elsewhere. I also had a cup of clam chowder that was thick, creamy, and packed with flavor. The staff here--bartenders and servers alike--are extremely friendly and helpful, which just adds to the overall experience.

The ambience was so nice and the food was fantastic! My group got a few appetizers to try- all were tasty and so were the drinks. I noticed it was a different menu than the most recent time I went. The first time, I got the braised short rib and was very pleasantly surprised with the portion, flavor, and tenderness of the meat! Our server was great as well and helped us enjoy a fantastic evening. This past Sunday I went again with a small group of people around 4. There was only one other group eating in the restaurant at the time but they left shortly after we got there, leaving us the only ones in the space. Our server may have been new and not well trained- he didn't write down our three orders, which could have been fine but he had to come back and ask us what we ordered before he put it in. We got the smash burger, fish sandwich and chicken piccata. The burger looked nice, two patties and plenty of toppings, but my fish sandwich was absolutely lacking. At first, it looked great, but the more I ate the more I realized there was hardly any fish in there. To me, the fish seemed about 1 cm thick with a huge coating of breading sandwiched between a bun on either side... the coleslaw needed to be sharper, and the tartar sauce added to the heaviness of the meal, not the elevation of it. I felt I needed another meal after I finished. The chicken piccata was decent but was heavy on the lemon, to the point it wasn't enjoyable to finish. I probably won't be back because of the disappointing meal I had.
