We recently purchased our first home, and I knew I needed some pull out shelves in the kitchen. I sent out requests for quotes on Yelp, Wayne responded quickly and was at my house for an estimate within a couple of hours. I was planning to get the entire kitchen done, but when I showed Wayne the cabinets he was honest about a few that he felt I would not be happy with (he basically explained that he could do them, but I would lose inches of storage space - inches I desperately need). Hello Everyone! I'll preface this review with; Wayne is an absolute professional at what he does!! I recently closed on my new home in Cambridge by Standard Pacific Homes, and I decided to not have the standard cabinet/door knobs installed by the builder. I wasn't 100% on doing so as I knew I would have to shop around aftermarket. However, now I am more than ecstatic about my decision. Just like many of you have done, I started to do my research on my options, and I ran across "Handle It." I read the reviews and felt really comfortable that I would request an estimate. From the moment I made the call to Wayne, I could tell that I was headed in the right direction. Wayne was thorough in explaining what the process would be, and we agreed to an appointment. The day of the appointment, Wayne was punctual and took his time on explaining the different options I could go with. My idea was to have a custom look with longer handles on the longer cabinets and draws. He was very patient in measuring every single cabinet and draw, and went through the different sizes with me, and also gave me his professional recommendations; which was exactly what I was looking for in a professional. Wayne submitted a proposal the next day, and his pricing was very competitive for the custom work that he was going to do. He was even generous to extend me a Military Discount. The day of installation Wayne was right on time and he first took his time with all of the prep work. He laid out all of the handles in line with where they would be installed, and confirmed that everything looked good and I agreed. He then did something that I wasn't expecting, he ensured all cabinets/draws where properly aligned, and he even made corrections to some of the poor work that the builders had done when installing the cabinets. For all the services based business that I dont take the time to write a review, I have to write a review for this one... I hired Handle it over a year ago to install my rollouts & Lazysusan in my blind corner cabinet in my kitchen. The Pantry in which my rollouts were installed is a double drawer cabinet and held alot of weight per rollout. All thought the rollout outs worked perfectly, over time the softclose hinges started to not work. So I called Wayne back from Handle it and sure enough not only did he handle it he reinstalled and reinforced the hardware to handle more weight for the softclose hindges to work. In my review and honest opinion Wayne not only stood behind his work but he went above and beyond his scope of warranty and basically gave me a FREE upgrade because of the excessive weight I was holding in the drawers at no charge. Wayne is reasonably priced, extremely professional and went above and beyone with extra's that I did'nt ask for, and was'nt charged for either!
