Best steak tacos in Cabo. The Waboritas are awesome. I come at least once whenever I'm in Los Cabos.

It is a must when you come to Cabo and they keep the air on, but the drinks are way over priced and the servers are rude. Stop by Ripped or Jungle Bar right out side for a drink before you go in. The live band is hit and miss but it can be fun for people watching. read more

Fine drinks, had the NFL on, my wife and I enjoyed everything until we paid and they tried to short me $10-maybe cause it's November and clearly a slow night-they made it right but come on Sammy really? I had the garden salad with the ginger lime dressing. I was very pleased with this. It was a hot day & this was the perfect light meal.

Definitely a must do when in Cabo especially if you are a Sammy Hagar fan. Fun atmosphere with great pictures of Sammy in stage and with friends. Cold beer, friendly staff with excellent coconut shrimp! Pricing is a bit higher than most other bars in the area and the peso to US rate is also higher. Largest complaint is having anti-American so called comedian George Lopez on stage making money at a place that survives by the US dollar. read more

Went to cabo wabo.in los cabos 6 days,ago with my wife and a friend. My wife and I had the fish fingers. Within an hour of leaving, we both became violently ill.had to get the doctor to our hotel room. We were both retching with severe diarrhea. This place is okay. The food was good and the service good too. It was pretty quiet around lunch time and I'm sure it livens up at night, but it was a nice place to chill out and get out of the sun. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here again, but it was nice to check out. read more

I have rocked out at Cabo in the past, this time I wanted to try something off of the menu...so we went for lunch. After reading Sammy's recent cooking/ travelogue book and having actually made a couple of the recipes I thought it would be really cool to try them from his restaurant. We ordered Sammy's Shrimp and of course the lobster tacos. In all, they were ok. The shrimp dish was not cooked with the tequila reduction sauce I was hoping for. Anyone can make garlic and butter flavored shrimp...and this version was ok. As for the lobster tacos - well I was hoping for burritos instead (per Sammy's book) but it was only served as tacos. The end result was ok, a bit salty...and again heavy on the butter and garlic. There are far better shrimp dishes and tacos to be had in Cabo. But it was cool checking out Cabo Wabo's food. read more

This place was so cool. I explained to my waiter that I was vegan and he created a entree for me that was first of all completely vegan and second of all not even remotely on the menu. He explained it with my before placing the order and asked what I could and couldn't eat. The dish was a plate of veggie tacos with a side of black beans and avocado. I wish I knew his name but I was very impressed. There was also another salad on the menu that I assume was vegan however I am not sure if it was topped with cheese. read more

This was a very tourist-y spot. We went at one thirty in the afternoon and it had a great atmosphere. Right as we were leaving there were musicians setting up. The tacos are great-especially the carne asada ones. We have found that it is more expensive than other taco places but the quality doesn't match. Hence four stars over five. read more

My husband and I plus a friend went to Cabo Wabo about 2 weeks ago. I have only written one other review of any business, so I reserve them for those that really stand out. This is a great place for good music... but NOT good service. The door man was rude and confiscated my EMPTY water bottle. Made no sense to me... and he was a jerk about it. We sat near the bar and started a tab with the bartender, Mora. He was awesome and the only one who provided any kind of decent service. We found a table near the bar and tried to order a drink from this awful female red-headed server, who said we had to stand up, walk over to the bar and close our tab first. Really? She could not just add my drinks to my already opened tab? The bar busers would constantly grab your drink off the table before you are done with it. Every table around us was ticked off. No questions, just walk by and grab. I guess this increases bar sales, but it is rude. These same servers and this red head in particular were so pushy and rude it almost ruined our whole evening. We were by no means drunk or rude to them.... so not sure why they treat us tourist... who pay their wages with such anger. Go for the music, but plan to be harassed and treated poorly. read more

Let's face it, this is a tourist spot so it is what it us. Food is so-so, drinks are just ok but staff were very friendly and attentive. Security asked to check my purse before entering which was fine with me. The club area was loud with rock music and packed with a bit of an older crowd (30-40-50 something's) who all seemed to be having a fun time. Being in this age group myself and being a Sammy fan I would come back for his birthday bash just because it would be fun! read more

Online they have what look like pretty good lunch and dinner menus. We get there at 6pm or so and the menu doesn't exist, just a little sheet with mostly appetizers. We end up getting the closest thing to a meal, a cheeseburger and a carne burrito. Undercooked burger, greasy burrito, we would have done just as well at McDonald's or Taco Bell and saved about 30 bucks. Do yourself a favor, walk in, look around, then go find a decent place to eat. read more

We visited the cantina for dinner this week. The margaritas were HORRIBLE! Do get the catch of the day - really good.

The servers were attentive and gracious. Yet the music, which is why we went in the first place, was comical. Does the lead singer of the band, or does Sammy know, he seems to add a "yeeahhh" to every line in a song that makes it painful to bear? We tried valiantly to stay through the set, but as the very talented musicians played, including the lead, the lead just added his own signature "yeeeeah" to everything from Wanted Dead or Alive to Sweet Home Alabama to Carlos Santana. I have been coming to Cabo for 10 years, avoided coming here and made the exception this trip for my guest and he had to leave because of how the covers were covered with that excessive "yeeeahhh". We love Sammy, have been singing him since we arrived and were excited to visit, but unfortunately don't understand how this talented team of musicians are allowed to add this very obvious and annoying element to the set. read more

This place was terrible and a total disappointment. The menu is fairly small and had very little, especially for someone who is allergic to shell fish like me. I can't wrap my head around a restaurant in Mexico who doesn't even serve tacos! After ordering our waiter disappeared and when he finally showed back up was extremely rude. He rolled his eyes at us, sighed heavily and stomped off when we didn't order any expensive drinks and started grabbing place setting off our table and out from under us without warning (yes, he spoke perfect English). Although fairly quick ( because it was empty), I couldn't believe how awful the service was! Another waiter brought us out our food and we didn't see our again until we were getting up to leave and he snatched up the folder with the payment in it. He was very visibly displeased with his tip since he was absolutely terrible and we only left about 10%. The food wasn't bad but also not great especially for the prices on the menu. I ended up ordering the tortilla soup which was okay at best but as soon as we got back to our room it made my sick and ended up throwing up half the night. The bar looked cool but was empty upon walking out. We may try to bar but we will never ever eat at the restaurant again! read more

Had to give this place a try: from my old Navy days, all the sailors said it was a must-visit location. I'm not a huge rock fan, and I don't really care for loud rock-n-roll cantinas, but if I were, this would be a fun scene. The crowd seemed lively, and the access was pretty easy to navigate. Most locals knew exactly where Cabo Wabo was located, so we didn't get lost on our way to or from. I probably won't go back, but for the rock-n-roller, I'd recommend giving it at least one try. read more

Everybody has to come by here when on a visit to Cabo. The "IT" place to go. Prices kinda high, drinks okay, standard bar food, expensive Cabo Wabo souvenirs and at night people dancing on the counters and getting really drunk. Good security and a fun place, but this time on my trip to Cabo, just stopped by during the day and passed on the nighttime visit. Luckily no cruise ships were her that day as it gets crazy on those days. read more

They messed up every drink we got (4 people, one amaretto sour, two frozen margaritas and a mojito). Idk how you mess up any of those, but they did. And the music level was CRAZY LOUD!! Let me first say this, I would rate this zero stars if the app would allow. Cabo Wabo should be named Cabo Robbo! This place is way overpriced! We went there since everyone talks about this place. If you are looking for overpriced food that leaves something to be desired this is the place for you! I was in the mood for tacos but was greatly disappointed. They claim the moniker comes from the party goers who have tied one on the nite before and stumble as they walk down the streets of cabo. Perhaps this is the clientele they target for this ripoff. My wife had a shrimp & salad and I had a tortilla soup and a beer with the grand total of $37 USD. For something called shrimp & salad I would expect more than three lousy shrimp. I will say the shrimp had good flavor since I managed to get a bite of my wife's dish, but didn't realize she only got three shrimp. For the price I would expect at least double that since it is called SHRIMP & salad. As for the tortilla soup, the broth was good but the soup appeared to be an assembly line dish, by pouring some broth, sprinkling some cheese cubes and tortilla strips, then topped with three slices of avocado and cream. The soup left me feeling like a void in my stomach was not even partially filled. The place was not worth the visit. It might be better for the party night life even though it seemed rather dead for 9pm. The places in the mariachi mercado were hopping w live bands. I would have rather eaten down there than what I had at Cabo Robbo! Totally my fault for not yelping this before we decided to visit this over rated establishment. And I almost forgot to mention, don't bring in any water. Walking around cabo I walked with a water bottle to keep hydrated but was told no water allowed in Cabo Wabo. So I had chugged a entire liter of water right in front of the door man, this should have been the red flag to turn around and get some tacos downstairs. read more
