This place omg, was definitely delicious. Snuck out the hotel at 5 am from our kids to get some alone time and enjoy ourselves a nice breakfast form here and I must admit, the food omg so delicious.

Driving through the area and decided to stop in for brunch. The menu was eclectic. I ended up with the war wonton with egg noodle soup. My boo had the steak and eggs l. My brother went with the pastrami burger. Overall flavor for all entrees were a bit on the bland side. I wasn't impressed with the wontons either. The skin was a little too thick and tended to fall apart when I picked it up with my chopsticks. I wasn't very impressed with the service we got from our waitress though. She was very peasant and even got jokes . So that offset the bland food.

This place is honestly my go to restaurant when I stay at Peppermill. They have a plethora of menu options, they're open 24 hours, they're just a walk away from the hotel rooms, and the food is absolutely delicious. The inside is spacious, elevated, and welcoming, and the staff are nice. I love how their nametags also include their ethnicity. During one of our visits, we had a server who was from the Philippines and my family bonded over that because we are also Filipino. I tried different things from the sandwich menu. Their Chilled Deli sandwich is a fan favorite, and I enjoyed it very much. I also tried and enjoyed their Clubhouse sandwich. I also tried things from the Asian menu, namely the Asian Sampler, Wonton Soup, and Stir Fry Vegetables. All of them hit the spot, and those were enough to feed three people. The ambience is nice and chill, and I'd definitely come back whenever I'm in the area.

Update for special dining option for New Years: Absolutely loved the special dining menu for the holiday! To be expected, it was CRAZY busy, and the restaurant was packed! Food was good though, and price point was right for the amount of food I got. Our server wasn't really attentive to our table, so that was disappointing.

Cafe Milano is exactly what you expect from a larger casino - massive menu, big portions comfort food. We ordered the kid's spaghetti, kid's French toast, and a chorizo breakfast burrito. The kids' meals did their job - simple, familiar, and filling. Nothing fancy, but the kids were happy and that counts for a lot when you're dining with littles. Portions were generous, so we took home leftovers. The chorizo breakfast burrito was flavorful, hearty, and satisfying.. though not mind-blowing. Breakfast seems to be one of their stronger lanes, but like many have said in other reviews, consistency can be hit or miss. Ours was good, just not hot-off-the-griddle great. Service was friendly and efficient, and the space is clean and casual. Prices feel a little high for diner-style food, but we're all keeping up with the economy. Bottom line: This is a dependable, family-friendly option when you want lots of food & lots of choices. Not somewhere I'd go out of my way for, but great when you're already at the Peppermill.

We ordered take out because it was one of the easier late night options. The food was decent but a bit pricey for what you get. The service was quick but a bit unclear of where to order.

    Grown-up grilled cheese $13.50

My friend and I were craving a light night snack after a long day of travel and work. I really wanted fries in particular. We stayed at Peppermill and Café Milano was one of our few late night options that served fries. The restaurant looks nice yet still casual. We were greeted right away and we let the staff know we just wanted to order takeout. They handed us a menu then took our order. We both opted for the grown-up grilled cheese $13.50. They quoted us a 15-minute wait so we decided to run up to our room to change. By the time we returned, our food was ready. We immediately devoured our sandwiches, which hit the spot. The sandwiches were big and came with plenty of fries. We probably could have shared one order, but we didn't know. Consider Café Milano if you need a late night option!

Wow!! Loved everything we had here!! HUGE proportions!! We easily split our entrees. A very diverse menu which I wish I made more time to try everything. The chicken quesadilla had the best cheese pull and chilis in it! The veggie omelette was also full of the freshest veggies and cheese served with hash browns and toast. Great Bloody Mary!

We were in a hurry so we dined at the counter. This is no Gordon Ramsay establishment. The chefs were enjoying themselves as they cooked. Our server Qian and the expediter William were delightful. It was nice to see the respect all of the staff had for each other The dinners come with a choice of soup or salad and dinner rolls. I chose the clam chowder. It was hot and delicious with lots of clams. I was stuffed after eating the bowl of chowder. Hubby enjoyed his salad and said the ranch dressing was creamy and flavorful My entree was the vegetable penne pasta with a chicken breast. I ordered it with out mushrooms. After seeing that it had mushrooms, Qian sent it back and gave me a complimentary bowl of fruit. The pasta was really good and enough to feed several people. My husband had his usual prime rib. He said it was slightly overcooked cooked but still tasty.

    Joan L.

Service was great, the food was a miss. I did enjoy the salmon, the country fried steak was gross (mainly the gravy), the veggies were great and fresh, the clam chowder was good, we also had the tomato soup and tasted like the can. The fish and chips, salad were ok, but the one thing I had that was fantastic and didn't take a picture of was the Chicken Chow-mein- will have to come back and try it again just to make sure it wasn't a one off but it was delicious! Locals get a 20% off, so I would go for lunch and that's about it.

What a solid 24-hour option in Reno! The Peppermill Hotel & Casino continues to deliver, including this OG cafe that has a refreshed interior and the upscale diner food you may have enjoyed at their sister restaurant in Las Vegas. We ordered the Cobb salad (5/5) and the prime rib dinner with mashed potatoes, steamed vegetables, and salad (4/5). Prime rib was very flavorful but a tad overcooked for medium rare. A very thick slice and just the right amount of fat. Served with au jus and creamy horseradish. Yum. The tables were clean and the service was friendly and attentive. Stop by the Fireside Lounge next door for a dessert drink! Same cocktail menu in both the Cafe and the Lounge. Will return.

We stayed at the Peppermill Resort , on our second day we wanted to try this restaurant so we came down. It was 10 of us. The sever was quick. She took drink order and went ahead and took food order for those who were at the table already. My sister and I arrived minutes later but she made sure all the food came out at the same time. There was always coffee refills and we got all we needed to enjoy our meals. Food was great. Portions are huge, I took 1/2 of my food to go. Service was great, my server I wish what was her name but she was great too. Next time we come back to Reno we will be back to this place. The place was quiet , a bit busy and pretty clean. Unfortunately I Didn't take pictures of everything since my phone died. We will be back!

A great spot for lots of tasty dishes - not quite as fancy as Biscottis but still darn tasty. We've been coming here for many, many years - since it was called the coffee shop and you could still play Keno while you dined. Lots has changed but the quality is still usually quite high. A few times the omelettes and burgers have been cooked a bit long, but service is consistently friendly and offerings extensive. The muffins are always a highlight for the fam though biscottis seems to have more variety on offer than cafe Milano. Don't sleep on the pumpkin cream cheese muffin when it's available - it's to die for. Prices are a little steep but the generous portions make it worth it - and 20% off for locals (with a players card) helps out too.

We had three other servers stop to ask if we needed anything or wanted to give our order, and once we made up our mind the waiter who helped us did a fantastic job.
