Outstanding menu, food, and service by the lovely Norma today. That peach ricotta toast was a big win! This restaurant is gorgeous and highly recommended.

This is a 3 1/2* rounded up for a recent weekday dinner takeout during this(25/26) high season. Cafe on St. Armonds replaced Cafe Europa post hurricanes and this review is based on our first takeout. Post sunset on Lido Beach, we ordered ahead that took about 25 minutes for our pickup. These are what we tried. Some hits and some misses. + Chicken Shawarma - more or less sliced grilled chicken on ample arugula... chicken was tender. ++ Roasted root veggies - very good! - Mushroom flat bread - pass; over sauced mess = Tossed greens - boring; oil on arugula = Basque cake - pass; too heavy ++ Key Lime Pie - decent KLP = Price is average for St. Armonds but little value for what we got. + Parking is street (difficult) and public structure in the back. Overall, an interesting menu but a poor execution.

We stopped by Café on St. Armands and only ordered sides and a dessert, but everything we tried was impressive. The roasted vegetables were the highlight of the night--especially the Brussels sprouts, which were cooked and seasoned to perfection. The flavors paired beautifully with the pomegranate, goat cheese, and sweet potatoes. You also can't go wrong with the truffle fries--crispy, perfectly fried, and very tasty. The star of the show was the limoncello dessert cake. It was incredibly moist, light, and absolutely delicious. We also had their French 73 cocktail, which was perfectly balanced and refreshing. The location is cute with great photo ops, and the wait staff was personable, kind, and attentive. I'd love to come back and try more items on the menu. Highly recommend!

We spent an afternoon in and around St Armand's and decided to try our luck at this restaurant and it turned out to be a great choice. The service was great and our waitress was very friendly. The ambiance was very pleasant and relaxing, I could have spent a couple hours there. Our Negroni cocktail was very good. The espresso I had after dinner was decent. We ordered caponata and pita for an appetizer, the French onion sliders with truffle fries and the kefta entree for lunch. Almond cake and pana cota for dessert. The caponata and pita was plentiful and good, but just a little different than the traditional Sicilian version (different spice and warm), the kesta meatballs were great, the sauces were on point and the rice was unique in a good way, the sliders were very flavorful and the truffle fries were fantastic. The almond cake nice, simple and satisfying, the pana cota was creamy and hit the spot. Overall we will return for sure and looking forward to experimenting with some other items on the menu. Food 8.5 Ambiance 9.0 Service 9.0

Went for lunch this week...not impressed with the. Menu...we ended up with Sliders and Fries ..they were fine. Had Aqua Panna Water with meal..service was good, just was not wowed with the menu and upcharge and nickel and diming for everything...very sad you cannot get breed and butter while waiting without a charge... Salad was an upcharge, potatoes an upcharge. needless to say our first and last visit at the new Cafe...

Really enjoyed dining at Cafe On St. Armands. The service was amazing. The outdoor seating is beautiful. All the food is delicious and made fresh to order. Highly recommend the Pulpo A La Grecia. Delicious and served with patatas bravas. Make a reservation ahead with outdoor seating.

We aren't in Paris; We're in Sarasota for Valentine's Day. The outdoor tables, large umbrellas, beautiful place settings and flowers are so inviting. The breakfast offerings look delicious. It's hard to choose. I ordered quiche Lorraine with caramelized onions, bacon & an arugula salad. My valentine ordered the baklava pancakes with honey syrup, caramel & baklava crumble. They opened at 10 and our delicious breakfast was on the table by 10:15. The French roast coffee was amazing and my breakfast here was better than Paris!

we went here for brunch and sat outside and it was absolutely incredible! I honestly think we will go back tomorrow morning too because it was that good. Service was great and the staff was super friendly. The food was absolutely incredible. We got the croque Madame, breakfast pita and the quiche Loraine which was out of this world good. Everything coming out of the kitchen looked so good, can't wait to go back for dinner!

What a great update to a St. Armand's classic restaurant! Cuisine spanned the Mediterranean with great selections from Greece, Italy, France & Spain. My wife and I shared an Andalusian winter salad, crudo (Italian sashimi), some glorious deviled eggs, and a whole branzino that was to die for. Flavors married beautifully in each dish, to the point that I was scraping up the marinades once the food was gone. Great cocktails and nice wine selection as well. Atmosphere was warm & inviting, with a beautiful bar area. Looks like they do coffee & breakfast as well. Will be back!

Steak and Frites with a side of over medium eggs.

One of the best restaurants on St. Armands Circle. I've been here now four separate times for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner and everytime the food and service from the staff has been exceptional and consistent. Would highly recommend if you're in the mood for a perfect ribeye! I've had most of the items on both the breakfast and dinner menu and I can say they are all good. My favorite is the steak and frites and I usually order it with two over medium eggs.

$20 for three small skewers of chicken with a drizzle of tzatziki on a bed of parsley with 4 slices of red onion. Parsley is a garnish, not a salad. It was hard to eat much of it. The menu mentioned "greens" not specifically parsley. I asked for some cucumber on the side which I'm glad I did since it was hardly a salad. Really nice server, Alex. Beautiful restaurant, I was seated by a lovely bar. Too pricey for me.

    Baklava pancakes

My family & I had breakfast here. Baklava pancakes - looked better than it tasted. It wasn't terrible. It wasn't memorable. I wouldn't order again. Mushroom omelet - very good. The sauce drizzled on top looked unappetizing, but it was very tasty. I'd order it again. The Circle Classic - as expected. The patatas bravas were a favorite amongst the table. Side of fries - light and crispy shoe string Kids cheeseburger sliders - very good The servers were so kind and so was management. They were very attentive.

Chris greeted us as soon as we walked in and immediately found us a table in the bar area. He was not only our server but also tending bar for the restaurant, yet he never seemed rushed and provided attentive, friendly service throughout our meal. The menu is extensive, with plenty of options to suit a variety of tastes. It took me a while to decide, but I ultimately ordered the yellowfin tuna tartare, and it was the right choice. The tuna was exceptionally fresh, beautifully presented, and balanced with flavors that complemented rather than overwhelmed the fish. As we waited for our entrées, Chris brought over warm bread as well as smoked salmon pâté. It was an unexpected touch that made the experience feel even more welcoming and gave us something delicious to enjoy while we waited. Although we were seated in the bar area, the atmosphere was comfortable and conversational. The noise level was just right--not so quiet that you felt like you had to whisper, but not so loud that it distracted from the meal. From the warm welcome to the attentive service and thoughtfully prepared food, this was an excellent dining experience. Chris did a fantastic job juggling both the bar and his tables without missing a beat, and his hospitality left a lasting impression. We'd happily return.

And the portions are HUGE. We had a reservation which was well used as it was pretty packed. We sat inside. It was pretty warm inside, though, from the heat so just be prepared for that. We got a pitcher of sangria and they make it right beside the table. It was SO good. Wow. Each person got about 1/4 a loaf of warm bread. They did say it was cuban bread but it wasn't really. But hey the bread was good. We got their famous salad to try (one side order for 2 people to split and one person got it as their entree) and it was very good. They also make that table side. For our meals, we got the lechón, salad, and fish. The portions were HUGE. So much pork. It came with great tasing yucca, beans, and plantains too. For desert, we got the guava pastry and the natilla. The guava pastry was actually kind of amazing. Warm and so so good. The natilla was good but it was closer to a crème brûlée. It was still good, though. I'm excited to go to another (closer) location of theirs again. It was really such good food. We were also able to take our leftovers with us since they gave us so much food. The lechón plate is definitely splittable.
