I see all the mixed reviews but I was going to check them out. I don't get to this area very often so when I spotted them weeks ago I knew I would end up here. I will admit that I got there at 20 to 7 am and no one was in the place which was maybe a bad sign. I had no issues with the service and I was promptly given a menu and water. The menu is big enough to satisfy most people and they have beer and cocktails if you were wondering. One thing caught my eye and I don't care for eggs Benedict but the farmers Benedict sounded good. The farmers Benedict came with baby red potatoes. The farmers Benedict is a biscuit half with a sausage patty, poached egg topped with sausage gravy. The baby red potatoes were cooked in a deep fryer so they were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside which was great. The poached egg was perfect with a nice runny yoke. The sausage patty was zesty and juicy, not those bland kind that I hate. The sausage gravy was better than average with crumbled sausage that you can taste. The biscuit was fresh and moist. See my pictures. The farmers Benedict was a nice change for breakfast and I enjoyed it because It all worked very well and was tasty. On my way out I noticed a sign saying home made soup for $1.99 and saw a large quart size container of clam chowder so even if it's from yesterday you can't beat that deal so I grabbed one to go. You can't buy a crapy can of chunky soup for $1.99 if you think about it. Upon walking into this adorable restaurant I was promptly greeted in a very warm and welcoming manor. I was very impressed at how happy the staff and customers appeared thus creating an inviting atmosphere. As we were introduced to the server it was a smooth handoff creating that "welcome home" feel. The energy was very much like going home to see family you haven't seen in a long time. The server was very nice and tentative while also giving the perfect amount of time between asking. The server was also very knowledgeable about the menu when asked about specific items, and for me that is a BIG PLUS! The food was very quick to be delivered to the table. Overall the service was out of this world impressive. The food came out perfect and piping hot showing that there was zero lag between being cooked, plated, and served. My only feedback to the owner/manager is please please please encourage the servers to pick up the dirty dishes when people are finished. Especially when they are moved to the edge of the table. Also the construction of the burger was masterful with veggies stacked and placed in such a way that blended into a totally unique and satisfying flavor and experience. The farmers benidict was great. It is 1 biscuit split, with two sausage pattis shreded ham, poached egg and sauage gravy. With a side of hashbrowns. I ordered orange juice and the waitress handed me a glass with a bunch of ground up orange seeds floating in the drink, and when i brought it up she said it's supposed to be like that (i've never had fresh squeezed orange juice where there are ground up seeds in it), then i ordered a meal and a dessert, she forgot to bring out the dessert and when i mentioned it she lied and said she must not have heard me because it wasn't on the ticket, instead of apologizing for forgetting to put it on the ticket. on her way bringing us the dish i saw her shoulder check another waitress on accident. overall the food was okay but nothing i would come back for. I will not be returning to this business, i really did not appreciate our server and the food was very average. The men's bathroom stall door also opens directly into the urinal area so if someone's using a urinal, you almost have to ask them to step aside to open the door. And the smoothie i ordered tasted fine but i was served it with a very small thin straw which is not easy to drink a thick smoothie out of. read more

Looking for a breakfast place in the area, found this restaurant, we were not disappointed. The restaurant was busy and looked nice. The staff was friendly and very attentive. We were seated immediately. The breakfast menu had a nice variety. There was a slight delay in getting our food, but the food was delicious. BEWARE!!! SCAM!!! We put a security deposit down months ago so we could bring a larger group in for our wedding brunch. Shachen was wonderful when we met with him and very accommodating. We were so happy that we almost booked our bridal shower there as well. After we put the deposit down, his demeanor changed. He became very rude and kept trying to change the time we had agreed upon. He became upset by our group size (the size we originally agreed upon) and then when less people RSVP'd, he was upset about the smaller group size. He never gave us the full security deposit back (he informed us we'd get the full amount of $250 back if we didn't cancel). He kept coming up with different reasons as to why he wasn't giving it back. I believe he pretends to be very accommodating and then when he gets your deposit, it makes your reservation as difficult as possible so you cancel. If you cancel, he gets to keep the $250. We considered canceling multiple times because of how he was treating us. We ended up keeping our reservation and he still kept half the deposit. So he got all our business plus an extra $100. He's running a scam. He was also very disrespectful and unprofessional towards the women in our family. read more

We visited this morning and really loved it. Nice menu of omelets, skillets and breakfast items. We were impressed immediately by the friendliness of the staff. When we arrived an employee was helping customers get to their cars safely in the icy parking lot. Our server was friendly and made us feel welcome by making personal connections with us. IHOP & Cracker Barrel were not on the list as you can visit these places anywhere. What we found at Cafe Agora was anything but typical. Every time I thought I found what I wanted, I'd see another item that looked just as good. All three of us loved our selection (mine was the shredded pork bread bowl, which I highly recommend) and we were all glad we came here. If you can't find something on their menu that sounds absolutely delicious, you need to walk out and go to McDonalds, because clearly that is the sophistication level of your palate. I like the fact they only serve "Colectivo" coffee (one of the best WI local based coffee companies besides Berries Brothers), and their menu allows you to build your own omelet to your crepes. Apparently there are just not a lot of breakfast joints around my parents' house. A friend and I came here around noon on a Sunday and they weren't super busy. However, they appear to have remodeled and redone the menu (or my memory is just really bad, not sure which!), so it's much nicer inside. They brought coffee right away, and our food came out promptly. We both got stuffed French toast. Mine had berries, mascarpone, and whipped cream. I think the mascarpone was in the middle and had mostly melted from the heat, and some of the strawberries in the middle were overripe, but I didn't have any real complaints. I had to ask for coffee refills though, but then when we were still sitting after we'd finished several people came by and offered. So maybe it was just our server? So nothing special, but certainly preferable to Cracker Barrel. read more

One of my absolute favorite spots to eat brunch/breakfast in Menomonee Falls area. One of the best breakfast burritos and skillets in the area.
