I had the most lemony Arnold Palmer ever here. I couldn't drink half of it cause it was so sour. My friend liked her coffee though. The space indoor and outdoor was really nice. I'm interested in their other drinks but the Arnold Palmer was not it. My drink did come out super quick which is a plus.

Food - We tried Milk Bar cakes from the December collaboration & they were delicious. The London Fog latte was tasty. The chai was bland and could've used more spices. Service - Staff was helpful, quick, and friendly! Ambiance - There was a band playing jazz music in the hotel and the cafe was overall quiet. There was lots of seating options and lots of sunlight. Also, we parked near the park during the free parking time. Parking is hard to find though.

This cafe is conveniently located right off the trails in downtown Austin. A very modern laidback vibe to the cafe with plenty of outdoor patio seating. I got an oat milk latte and a croissant. They have a very limited amount of pastry and food options. The coffee was delicious and service was friendly and fast.

Aesthetic and slightly austere, dog-friendly cafe right by Town Lake/Lady Bird Lake, connected to the Loren hotel. The espresso was really good! They have the usual breakfast grab and go and did a Milk Bar sort of residency over December. I went at the beginning of January and they still had Milk Bar pie and cookies and some Milk Bar merch for sale. It's purely a coffee shop, so it's not a place to get a real meal. I'll forever think of this location as Taco Cabana but that's the curse of having been around Austin this long.

The service at Cafe at the Loren is wonderful. Even with a long line, they handled the morning rush quickly, kindly, and efficiently. I tried the sausage roll and my friend had the chive biscuit. The roll was savory and filling, but a little soggy. The chive biscuit was amazing aside from the very center which was slightly undercooked. The coffee is not good. They're using La Colombe beans which always taste so bitter. It isn't the barista's fault. I wish they'd found a local roaster to partner with instead. The setting and ambiance is the star of the show though. It feels like a tree house with the lush trees all around. They've done a stellar job with insulating the cafe to keep the sound from resonating off of all the hard surfaces.

    Tiniest taco in town.

The tacos are meh. Which if they were normal sized would be fine. But this is the smallest taco I've ever seen! I did like the salsa. The people working there are nice. And they gave out free coffee on the pedestrian bridge. But the food and coffee in the shop leave a lot to be desired.

I love this spot. Great matcha lattes and the decor is so beautiful. The space is pretty big and you can get work done here.

almost $7 dollars for very low quality cold brew. I think it was a 12 oz. Many better spots nearby.

Came to Simona's with some coworkers for happy hour and was not disappointed! This place is behind…read morethe Colton hotel off Congress ave. There is a parking lot that you can get validation for 2 hrs free, but after that you will be charged. Overall though, it's totally worth a visit! The bartenders are really friendly, the bathrooms are immaculate, and the inside of the place is really cute -- think kinda pink vintage? There are some tables, and big comfy couches around a coffee table in the middle of the bar which is where we sat. I had one of their happy hour cocktails that was similar to a creamy espresso martini, and they are 50% off on happy hour days/times! My friend got one of their floral cocktails which wasn't discounted but I LOVED it personally. I also got a strawberry matcha drink (non alcoholic) that was a little too sweet in my opinion; I finished it but wouldn't get it again. Overall though the cocktails and vibe in there are worth a visit alone! When it's not too hot, the area outside has little mini-chandeliers and is also very vibey.

Located inside the Colton House Hotel, Simona's is the hotel's local resident serving coffee by…read moreday, and cocktails by night. I usually only go to coffee shops to work, but today, went on a coffee date with my dog instead. There's ground floor parking in the garage that's complimentary for two hours. I kept it simple with a vanilla latte. I noticed they had tacos at the bottom of the food menu, but at $13.25 for two tacos + an a la carte item, I decided to pass. Maybe my expectations were too high (as usual) because it's inside a hotel, but I was hoping for the kind of warm hospitality hotels are known for, but instead, the service felt a bit cold. It didn't exactly make me want to spend more money there. While sitting on the patio, I spotted the food truck outside and thought, "PERFECT. A food truck HAS to be cheaper. Take that Simona's!" I walked up to the window... only to find out it wasn't actually a separate food truck. It was just the pickup window. To order? I had to go back inside to Simona's and place my order with the delightful staff... I ended up ordering two Blue Migas tacos, and honestly, they were just... good, but nothing memorable. They tasted like your average breakfast tacos that you can find all over Austin for less. Despite loving how relaxing the outdoor patio is with its lucious greenery surrounding you and the beautiful French chairs and cafe tables, it's located right next to the hotel pool. If you're visiting on a summer afternoon, expect some extra noise with pool guests. If you're looking for a quiet coffee or a place to work, I'd recommend coming early in the morning instead.
