I thought it would be similar to like a Hawaiian style latte with macadamia milk, but it was a lot lighter than I thought. It was definitely very nutty, but it also just tasted like water down latte. Honestly not much going on with the drink, but it does taste lighter in general. Crazy have to pay $1.50 more to add on this milk. Overall, its alright. I do like the natural lighting coming into the shop, but nothing too special.

Cannot go wrong with any of the drinks - they use lactose-free milk for all drinks, but do have non-dairy milk alternatives available as well. The kopi pandan is my favorite bc the espresso and pandan is well-balanced. The pandan matcha is more pandan than matcha if you want something sweeter. Same goes for their pastries and savory items. My favorite so far is the lempers bc it's especially reminiscent of a lot of SEA dishes I grew up eating - a good combo of sweet and savory, the flavoring is very authentic.

I asked her to turn down the volume, which she tuned down from an 11 to a 7, but minutes later it continued to creep up, like the snooze setting of an alarm clock coaxing you to wake up - except in this case, to get out. Ultimately, the volume got unbearable and we finally threw in the towel and got out of there to let the barista enjoy her music. To put it bluntly, the owner, Chester, is a creep. He will ask personal questions about you and remember them. I thought this was him just being nice and developing a relationship with his customers but I am uncomfortable the knowledge he has accumulated and remembered about me over the years. The worst of all is his instagram where he posts pictures all of girls and women with hearts all over. Some even are of college girls just sitting across the street not knowing he took a pic of them!!!! Im really unsettled and refuse to go back now. I have spoke to many people, especially college age girls who feel the same, and says that the owner is weird and remembers all their information. read more

This place is great. I stumbled into it after a slew of bad experiences at another coffee shop just down block.... They have great sandwiches and the chai tea lattes are delish.... It's never too crowded and never too noisy -- so it's a good place to go to get work done.... I'm not a big fan on the TV they have mounted on the wall, but at least they usually keep the volume down.... They close kind of early, so this is more of a morning/afternoon hangout place, but well worth checking out. read more
