    Chocolate cake

Having just moved into the area I was looking for a good date night spot. Cafe Bella did not disappoint. The atmosphere was very romantic and perfect even though the place was packed it still felt intimate. The staff were friendly and helpful in deciding what to eat. We had a stuffed chicken dish in an amazing lemon wine sauce. But the chocolate cake was just to die for. We had an appetizer, split a salad and entree and ordered dessert for under $50. We brought our own bottle of wine and I gotta say I am excited for our next visit.

Not the same place as it used to be a year ago. -They NO longer sell soft drinks (which wasn't as big of deal for me but was surprised, said something about a CO2 shortage after COVID) - Place is so dark at night, restrooms were pitch dark, had trouble finding the light switch). Very hard to see the food I was eating. - Service was good and fast, Food was decent at best, but they served me shrimp alfredo fettuccine WITHOUT REMOVING THE SHRIMP TAILS . This was a first time I've ever had to manually used my hands to remove shrimp tails from steaming hot pasta at a restaurant, nearly burning my fingers! Staff said it always came with tails which I do not recall it ever being the case in past visits. The waitress never even asked me if I wanted tails or no tails. Overall, pretty disappointed with the $23 visit. It used to be such a great place to go to, not anymore. Looks like I'll have to look elsewhere.

Girls night was a hit! Beautiful decor and ambience update since our last visit. We were comforted from appetizer, entree, & dessert with our choices. The calamari was ok; need a bit more of flavor and crunch. My chicken piccata was lemony light satisfaction. My friends devoured their eggplant Parmigiana with traditional and another substituted Alfredo sauce. We chatted & gabbed over our BYOB delicious Cabernet. Tge tiramisu was good with a lovely presentation. It gets busy around 6 pm on a weekend but seemed efficient. No reservations so be aware of wait times. A definition gem that I'm glad we have!

This is the first restaurant that I have been to where people walk in and often talk to each other about their admiration for the owner. It's incredible. The team treats its customers well and greets regulars by name. You can feel how they appreciate your business. It's very busy and not a fast food spot. But that's not why you come here. Quality is not quick. It's a good place to enjoy a meal or laugh with family and friends. I like to come here with my wife and enjoy coffee while I stare at her from across the table.

Roses are red. Violets are blue. I love this restaurant & so will you!

This was my 1st time eating at Café Bella. I have lived within 2 miles of this restaurant since 2012 & refused to eat here until today. I grew up in an Italian household & my Nana made the best homemade Italian food. Until today, every time I have eaten at an Italian restaurant, I have been horribly disappointed! Today was totally different!! If my Nana were still here, I would bring her to this restaurant!! My Nana would love this food!!! But, also, the aroma of all the fresh roses when you 1st walk in the door! The aroma is divine! The food is straight from Heaven!! It is so good, every bite was like your tastebuds orbiting to another world! The gentleman that waited on us was kind & attentive! I should have asked him if my Nana was in the kitchen!! I sure do miss my Nana but coming to Café Bella was like having my Nana back again!! This is one of the best restaurants in all of Ft. Worth... possibly the entire United States!

Very good food, the Aristocrat was delicious! The service was amazing, the waiter was very friendly and good at refilling waters! Also it has a nice chic decor to it! Great for a birthday dinner or nice family outing!

I can't believe it's been SO long since we've dined at Cafe Bella. My wife and I MUST make a point to come by more often. It was a Saturday night around 6:00pm and the place was hopping. We ended up parking around the corner from the restaurant since there was no parking close by the restaurant. It seems we always come by when a special event is taking place. Last time we were at Cafe Bella, there was a rehearsal dinner being hosted. This evening, there was some sort of event happening at TCU. All the ladies and gentlemen were dressed to impress. Even with how busy the restaurant, we were seated almost immediately in the outdoor dining area. Our server Mia was phenomenal during our visit. She was so friendly and accommodating. She kept us informed how our orders were doing in the kitchen. As a former long-time food service manager, I was sure the kitchen was working at full tilt. Fresh baked bread with dipping sauce was brought to our table as we checked out the menu. My wife decided on Chicken Parmesan, and I opted for the Lobster Ravioli. Mia came by and asked if we were in a rush, the kitchen needed to get the entrees out to the TCU table since they were on a tight schedule. We told Mia, we had nothing to do afterwards so the kitchen could take its time. Our entrees arrived after an enjoyable wait and were FANTASTIC. Of course, we had a have a roll re-fill along with additional dipping sauce. We love Cafe Bella's dipping sauce. Both of our entrees were spectacular, can you say "Awesomeness" As we were finishing our entrees, we thought about desserts and decided to order a Creme Burlee and plain Cheesecake topped with a cherry sauce. Yep, and a couple of cups of coffee to help cut the sweetness. Even with the stellar service Mia delivered, there are some points that I would be remiss if I didn't mention them. First the Cream Burlee had a crunchy caramelized curst on the top, the custard underneath wasn't set up properly. The taste was decadent, but it was just a semi-thick custard, not a thick custard that Cream Burlee's are known for. Second, Cafe Bella needs to invest into a POS (point of sale) system. The servers are still writing out old style paper tickets so there is no prior communication to the kitchen about what's coming their way. Having a proper POS system installed would allow the servers to process diner's tickets. Not having a POS system creates a HUGE bottleneck at the front of the house. There's a line of diners waiting to be seated and a second long line of patrons waiting to pay their check. The front of the house isn't that big and it gets VERY crowded. I was waiting outside while my wife was in line to pay our check. The lady standing next to me said her husband had been in the check paying line for over 10 minutes. Even though we love Cafe Bella, we'll definitely have to think twice to come on a busy weekend night.

We ordered a gluten-free Margherita pizza to take home, and it was delicious. The restaurant wasn't busy at all, which made for a relaxed experience. One thing to note: there are doors on the side designated for takeout, but we initially tried the front door because we didn't realize it was an actual entrance. The front doors were also a bit difficult to open, which added to the confusion. Service was great - love the smiles and the energy. Overall, great gluten-free pizza, tasty drinks, and a quiet atmosphere. We'd definitely come back.

It was my mom's birthday and she was in the mood for Italian. I had heard good things about Pie Tap…read moreso Pie Tap it was! We came in on a cold Monday night. We parked at street parking across the restaurant without issue. Inside, we were promptly seated. The inside is nice and dim with an open kitchen. We started the night off with the Fondue. The rosemary buffs were delicious and the perfect vehicle for the two different dips - goat cheese fondue and pecan pepper jam. I really enjoyed the goat cheese. It was nice and hearty, pairing very well with the bread. The pepper jam added a sweet touch but I'm more a savory person so I was more than content with the cheese itself. My mom got the papparadelle and bolognese while I got the sausage pizza. The papparadelle was nice and al dente. It paired well with the bolognese sauce. However, I felt it was warm when it came out so it got cold quickly. The sausage pizza was delicious! The star of the pie were easily the carmelized onions - added such a perfect level of sweetness that it really elevated the whole dish. The crust also went well with the cheese from the fondue. At this point in the evening, we were feeling pretty full. Nonetheless, our waiter, Seamus, knew it was my mom's birthday. With that in mind, he treated us to the donuts. They came with chocolate sauce and strawberry jam. Both were good. I personally preferred the chocolate since that's what I usually lean more towards. We thought it was such a nice gesture. The night was that much more special because of Seamus. Overall, althrough everything wasn't perfect (not that it should have been), the work and effort was clearly there. Looking forward to coming back again one day.

We came specifically because they offer both vegan and non vegan options which is perfect for us. We were told 35 minutes. Fine. An hour later we are starving after a run in the heat and still no food. I check in and get told 12 more minutes. Breadsticks come out for my husband. Still no pizza. At this point the place starts filling up and you can see smaller orders come out like one slice pizza orders , while ours is nowhere in sight. After waiting even longer, I ask again. The cashier says 5 minutes, but the cook makes it obvious our order has not even been started. It felt like orders were being made at random, not in order, like the guy was making whatever he felt like . We finally got our food at 8:00pm. Yes, almost two hours later for one pizza and breadsticks. We ordered an 18 inch half vegan half deluxe and breadsticks, about $40. Add another $6.60 for parking, which is a mess by the way. By the time we got the food we were so over it we didn't even take a photo. Pizza was meh . I appreciate having vegan options, but I also appreciate a place that can manage a basic dinner service & train staff properly. The bathrooms were dirty, the tables were sticky, even the table number was sticky. Not a great look. This was a frustrating experience from start to finish and unfortunately not somewhere we would come back to. One star is generous. The scratcher coupons we were given to try to remedy are laughable !

My parents were in town and we decided to come here for my birthday in fact. Usually, we would have walked. Though it was pretty cold outside. There's a small lot that's right at the entrance (or back) of the restaurant. However, in the likely case that it's full, there's a spacious lot that's nearby next to the parking garage as well. Inside, we were quickly seated. Our waitress brought out our drinks promptly. We knew what we wanted so we ordered then and there as well. For appetizers, we got the Artichokes Classique. I'm not the biggest artichokes fan. I may or may not have been trying to convince my parents that I have a sophisticated adult palate and this looked like it would do the job. The artichokes were lightly fried with a crispy exterior. They retained their earthy, taste. Paired well with the slightly spicy, garlicky calabrian chile aioli. My dad got the Chicken Parm Sandwich. It was nice and meaty - solid chicken parm! What really stood out, in my opinion, was the side caesar salad. They used whole gem lettuce as opposed to romaine which I felt offered a better texture, presentation, and helped with the dressing distribution. My mom, or rather all of us, got the Chorizo y Miele which was their pizza of the month for Feburary. Without a doubt, it was one of the many highlights of this night. It's a sweet-spicy pizza with rich, salty sausage accented by an appropriate amount of habanero honey drizzle. I had never had sweety drop peppers but it was such a nice addition in terms of presentation for the month of February, texture with the slight cruchiness of the whole pepper, and flavor with the slight spice. Last but not least, the texture of the pizza was phenomenal. The crust had that nice smokey flavor - perfect base for all of the ingredients on top. Finally, I got the Truffle Carbonara. Rich. Decadent. Mindblowing. This is easily one of the top three carbonaras that I have ever had. It was so delicious. The truffle flavor is not overwhelming at all - just the right amount. Lastly, I want to comment on the stellar service. We were checked on frequently by our wonderful waitress. Additionally, since it was my birthday, we had brought a cake from a bakery to the restaurant. Not only did she offer to store the cake in the fridge, but she made sure that we had enough plates, silverware, and even a lighter for the candles. Truly made sure that the evening was special! Overall, I'm looking forward to one day coming back to Cane Rosso. From trying the unique monthly pasta and pizza specials to the wonderful service, you can't go wrong with a meal here!

We were given no napkins or flatware, so we got that ourselves after about 10 minutes. After being out of water for 10 minutes, I had to ask for more...then had to remind her after 5 minutes, before she finally refilled it several minutes later. Eating food just isn't enjoyable when you're very thirsty. :( Initially, when the food was brought to the table, I asked our server what kind of Sam Adams was on tap (the menu says to ask). She said she would find out. Five minutes later, I asked again, and she said, "Oh, I'm sorry, I'll go find out." A few minutes later, I asked yet again, and she said that "the Sam" was on the way. Surprised, I said that I hadn't ordered one but had simply asked which Sam Adams was on tap. She didn't know, so she had to check my tab to see what it said. It was the Sam Adams Summer, which I don't care for, so I asked her to cancel it, which she did. But, she then walked away without me getting to order a different beer! Aaaannnnddd...others at the table sat with empty glasses for the last half of the meal. Wow, y'all. It was busy, but we were shocked by the lack of service.
