Arrived around 11:30 and seating was not a problem. The interior design was very tasteful. the black chairs and tables were a nice touch. The bathroom was also clean! that's always a plus! Also, the staff is super friendly and attentive! The cafe has a very comfy feeling. I ordered an italian turkey sandwhich. It came with a side salad. get raspberry vinaigrette for your dressing! it's a perfect pairing! the sandwich was splendid. i loved the bread. i shouldve asked for pickles and avacados! i wanted to try everything on the menu. hopefully i will get to visit the next time im in town. i had a nice relaxed time eating and reading a book. We ordered three things: Mediterranean Crepe Chorizo Omelet Chicken Wrap Everything was pretty light and fresh. Service was very pleasant. I will say that while the food was pretty good, nothing was particularly exceptional. But the place is quaint and the food wasn't too bad this time around. I like this cafe, it's near my place and the food/service is really great too. They have outdoor seating so I can bring my dog. The outdoor seating is right by the parking lot but there isn't a lot of traffic and it actually doesn't really bother you. There is a lot of space so it's not crowded at all. The menu is pretty good. It's not very limited and they also provide healthy options and daily specials. We went on a Sunday for brunch. We ordered garlic fries, omelet and scrambled eggs. I really liked the eggs that we ordered. Mine was a sausage pesto omelet and it was really tasty. We plan to go back every Sunday. The service was great too. The servers came out timely, checked on us and refilled our coffee and waters. Very nice and polite. read more

It's a sweet little brunch spot on Ralston that my boyfriend and I were pleasantly surprised to find when searching for 'not quite breakfast, not quite lunch.' I was delighted to find a low carb alternative to Eggs Benedict on their menu. Spinach, chicken breast, hollandaise, and two poached eggs. It was pretty delicious. Though for offering such a clearly low carb, high protein alternative to the traditional English Muffins, I found it strange to still serve it with potatoes. This place is very dependable. I am always greeted kindly as I am a local and regular customer. The food is good, the coffee is hot. The yogurt parfait is one of my favorites for breakfast. I don't know what kind of yogurt they use but it is deliciously fluffy and thankfully not sugary and sweet. The fruit is always fresh and so are the salads. The BLT is a good pick for lunch. I live around the corner from Cafe Bliss, so it's hard not to love it. But their food is delicious too! The staff is really friendly, though service can be a kind of slow. But I'm ok with that as I wouldn't come here in a rush anyway. Back to the food. It's excellent. I mostly come for breakfast and am never disappointed. They make their own corned beef hash (not that crap from a can). Their french toast is great. The biscuits & gravy is really nice: typically a very heavy dish, theirs is not feather weight, but it doesn't sit in your tummy like a ton of bricks. The eggs benedict is good. The pancakes look good (my girlfriend gets them), though I haven't tried them yet. Additionally, the postions are just right. I never leave stuffed, but am always satisfied. As other commenters have noted, the Carlmont Shopping Center isn't much to look at, and Bliss is sort of inconspicuous on the Ralston end of the shopping center. So it's easy to miss. But go check it out. You likely won't be disappointed. read more

Food is really good, the service can be good at times, bad at other times. What drives me nuts about this place is they rarely serve meals all at the same time. One time I got their veggie crepe and they kept breaking the crepe, so they had to redo it multiple times. By the time I got my breakfast, my daughter had finished hers. Located in the dated Carlmont Shopping Center, Cafe Bliss doesn't look like much from the outside. But when you enter, you find a quaint, clean, tastefully-decorated cafe. Every time I've gone her, I've always been greeted pleasantly by the woman who always seems to be there (the owner?). Usually she allows you to choose your table. The menu is larger than you'd expect, with a great selection of breakfast items (available any time), crepes, soups, salads, sandwiches, burgers, pasta. Things I've enjoyed: caprese sandwich, grilled chicken pesto sandwich, greek salad, thai cashew chicken salad, lentil soup (so good!), fries (perfect - crunchy on the outside and not too greasy.). And the iced latte I ordered last time was perfect! I've eaten here a handful of times. Service has always been friendly and attentive. I've also picked up lunch to go. I have never been disappointed by a meal from Cafe Bliss. It's the perfect spot to eat a quick, good meal. read more

Went to Café Bliss for the first time today with two friends. One of the specials was Chorizo Hash. I ordered this dish and loved every bite. I was told that the Chorizo was homemade by the cook. My friends had a salad and the turkey burger. Both of them raved about the food. Staff are very friendly. Looking forward to more trips to this little gem of a café. Good for brunch. I don't frequently write reviews, but after reding other reviews I felt like I should stick up for this place. It's good for what it is (it's a cafe in a strip mall after all). We had kid's pancakes, biscuits and gravy, and the chorizo scramble. The chorizo scramble was a little under-seasoned, but otherwise the food was good with fresh ingredients. Cozy and homey brunch place to start off the weekend! We started off with a latte and grapefruit juice--both were perfect for the start of a day. The only issue I had was my eggs were cooked about a min too long, I asked the waitress if I could have them runny and she said, next time you come in ill make them like that, just tell me you want them runny. The potatoes were really tasty, and they only serve you 1 slice of bread (usually places give two slices). Hostess/waitress was nice - she was the only one taking orders, and it was more empty than usual today. The co-workers and I decided to head out for a little lunch (which we rarely get the chance to do). Waitress took our order and brought our drinks quickly. The food also came out quite a bit quicker than it used to, too. Just as we were beginning to talk about how the place has improved, I feel something on my foot and the waitress shouts "There's a mouse!" WHHAATTT???? And out from under our table ran a RAT straight out the front door. Just to make things worse, the other waitress (or cook?) said "Oh finally, its gone!" The waitress came back over and tried to convince us that the food isn't left out and nothing could have been contaminated, but, by that point the whole lunch was shot.
