The service at Cafo Bravo is not what it used to be. I've been going here for years and enjoy the food. Today I attempted to order a plate with 1/2 Rice and 1/2 Salad, the way I have ordered for years. Apparently this is no longer allowed. The staff was rude and did not care when I advised them I've done this for years and questioned why the change. Too many other good kabob places in the area to deal with rude staff. I'll be taking my business to other restaurants moving forward. read more

Cafe bravo has amazing food and their Lule kabob sandwich is a must have. Although traffic from their new neighbor Starbucks is quite annoying, the food at Cafe Bravo is great and the busy crowds show that word has spread about this fantastic local kabob shop. This is my third time coming here and 2 of the times I came their has been issues .. maybe its just me but consider 1. Checking your items before you leave ( they might put the wrong items) 2. Their staff is very slow, and are not very customer friendly. They do their job. But theres love. They kept telling me it was coming out and the bag was literally squatting there the whole time. Chillin... if they could boost that service I would probably give 5 stars. But the service is what keeps you going back for more, (aside from the food) . Ever been to Vakos Kebob? Now that's the place you have to try. Anyways, I think it's pretty funny how several "Yelpers" think as themselves as foodie critics and they have never worked in a kitchen. Needless to say, working the boh. Sorry for the rant. I came to Cafe Bravo expecting an awesome meal, but unfortunately it did not pan out like that. I've gone to several Mediterranean/Persian restaurants and this is the first time I'm served day old shirazi salad(tasted like 2days old). That was a huge downer. I won't even mention the hummus, another downer. The 3stars I gave this restaurant was for the chicken lule. It was juicy and delicious. My girl ordered the the beef lule, ehh it was ok; nothing to write home about. I give my reviews comparing to countless restaurants I have tried similar to exact meals. Don't think I'll be coming back, but I will be returning to Vakos. read more

I've been eating at Bravo since I was in high school. I'm amazed it still tastes the same. I don't like everything on the menu, but the chicken with garlic sauce is one of the best things I've ever eaten, period. Probably my favorite Armenian fast food joint. The rice is perfect and so is the kabob. My go-to is the beef/chicken kabob combo plate with the yogurt and pasta salad. The sit down area is much bigger after their renovation and the restaurant looks much cleaner. They have a small parking lot on the side or you can usually find street parking. read more

We had been eating here for years. Every time I went, it was packed with hungry customers. Lines long and the food delicious. Well, we just moved closer and, after a break, we came here looking forward to the same quality of food. But the place was renovated, new kitchen, completely re-vamped. The meats were dry and hard to eat. The salads water-logged at 8PM. We ordered two meat plates, both with an extra skewer. Upon checking order on the way out, it was noticed that the extra skewer had been prepared, but not included. Best kebab I've ever had no question. Their chicken kebab is so flavorful and tender. My favorite thing to get is the shawarma wrap and their chicken kebab sandwich. I've tried pretty much all of their sides and my favorites are the yoghurt spinach, tebuleh, hummus, ikra, and potato salad. It's just my favorite comfort food and there is nothing more comforting than some Bravo during this pandemic. read more

Sad to leave a poor review for Cafe Bravo, this used to be one of my favorite places but the quality has gone down drastically in the past couple months. The first time I noticed was from the difference in the tabbouleh, it tasted old to the point where I threw away an entire medium side order. Despite this experience I decided to give it another chance but this time was worse. The tabbouleh tasted old again and the chicken kabob smelled and tasted like fish... I don't like seafood so I was not able to eat my meal. Very disappointed, probably won't be coming back here again. read more

This was my first time here and it truly is cooked to order. The portions are huge and staff was so nice to us. Very spacious so you shouldn't have a problem finding a seat. Arguably much better than local Armenian favorite Raffi's Place, but at a fraction of the price. Setting at Cafe Bravo is much more casual, but don't be fooled they don't skimp on quality. One of our fave Mediterranean places to grab kebobs- super reasonable pricing as well. We get this to go a few times every month. Beef kebobs, hummus, rice with tomato and peppers - well flavored but always add tapatio for some more spice. Food comes out fairly quick, employees always friendly and restaurant always clean. Our toddler loves the grub as well. Can't go wrong with Cafe Bravo! read more

Sorry to say I USED to love this place. I rarely write reviews, but felt inclined to do so based on my bad experience here today. Poor management trickles down to terrible customer service. The story is long, but the gist is I asked if they would correct a small error on my order that was partially my fault and partially theirs, as she didn't ask me which type of potato salad I wanted when I called in my order (I wasn't aware there were two kinds of potato salad). Regardless, it was a small serving so I kindly asked if they would be able to give me the correct one and quickly she said "no" the food is packed up and ready and they aren't allowed to fix it since it was my fault and they're not allowed to make any special accommodations. So I asked if the manager was there and she said no he just left. I then asked for his name and she said she wasn't allowed to give out his name or information?! I was in shock, they must get a lot of negative feedback if the manager doesn't want to talk to customers or deal with any issues. She said I could try calling but he's in and out throughout the day and hard to reach...blah, blah, blah....she was rude and really didn't care. Needless to say I won't support this small business anymore. The food was just mediocre at best and the service is awful. It's unfortunate that management doesn't give the staff power to make decisions to make customers happy, especially if they're not going to be around or open to hear customer feedback. Excellent Chelo Kabobs in Glendale. As good as Raffi's (a very popular kabob place in Glendale) but at lower cost. Plenty of sides to pick from. It is also quick. You get your food within 10 minutes. Parking could be issue during busy hours and also seating can be limited. read more

Very odd. Their online ap wouldn't fill the order for me, so I just came in to order it and it was a different price. Now, we're going to stop eating in here because they replaced their Coke machine with an off brand incredibly sweet alternative. Yesterday evening after a long day at work, I decided not to cook and go out for dinner with my husband at Cafe Bravo. We have been going there for YEARS. We placed our order and requested our order TOGO. We waited approximately 25 minutes. This young girl by the name of PAULINE brought our order in a plate, and said, "If you want I could bring the boxes for you, and you could put your food in it." I replied, "No honey I waited this long I would like you to put it in a box like requested." She took the plate from the table all upset with an obvious temper. She threw the plate once she got to the other side of the counter, then she got a box and started to scoop the side orders into it angrily. She was throwing the food into the box as if we were dogs... I felt so DISRESPECTED and couldn't stand by letting her treat us that way especially if we were paying customers who waited patiently for our food in the first place. It's honestly unacceptable. This is definitely not the way to treat any customer or human being even. I have worked in customer service all my life and customers should be treated with dignity and respect or at the very least with patience. This message is for the owner of Cafe Bravo. I suggest you offer your employee, Pauline, some Customer Service classes, and/or other resources that can teach her better communication skills, because she desperately needs them. She has a lot to learn about interacting with customers. Great quality food for the price. Their meat is so tender and flavorful and the people working there are always so friendly. If you can call ahead to order pick up- I highly suggest you doing also. Also make sure to ask for extra garlic sauce, it's amazing. They started to charge 50 cents for an extra sauce but it's worth it. read more

I decided to try this place again, I got the chicken kabob with half rice & half salad with the side of Ikra & cucumber yogurt. WOW it was amazing honestly!!!! The rice was so much better. I will definitely be ordering from them again. If you tried them maybe a year ago and did not like it you should give them another chance now. read more
