Cafe de Oro is large and comfy, with couches and tables in a spacious airy room. They serve La Colombe coffee. There is a refrigerated case with sandwiches, bagels and juices and a Limited bakery case -- no croissants today. There are also several cases of Jeni's ice cream. I picked a thick slice of banana walnut bread and a latte. My cup had latte art on top -- the coffee was rich and full- bodied. The bread was ok, a generous slice but a little dry. This is a nice place to have some coffee with friends although the menu is limited.

Cafe De Oro is a larger coffee shop with a lot of natural lighting. They offer coffee, pastries and some food options (ie. breakfast items, lunch items). The barista working may have been new, she was losing tickets which had customers receiving their drinks/food in a slow manner. There were a few customers that didn't receive their items that they had to approach her that people that ordered after them were receiving their items well before them. I tried an iced jasmine green tea for my drink. It was refreshing, light, flavor was full force and I enjoyed this drink. For food I tried a breakfast sandwich and had asked to not have any meat, however, there was a sausage patty in it that I removed. Overall my experience was just OK. I'm not sure I'll be back again but I'm glad I checked em out!

I have now visited this place a few times. I was here when they first opened and they needed to work out the kinks. I visited again when their pastries seemed to only come out of the refrigerated shelves and now they have a case with pastries. The two women working were nice when I arrived both greeting me separately when I walked in. One worked solely on drive thru orders and didn't help out the main counter if there was no one in the drive thru. The other working the main counter took her time making my drink of choice: hot mocha with oatmilk and an extra pump of chocolate (not a coffee drinker here). She filled my mug to the brim with artistic yumminess. It's a fairly open concept inside with two Jeni's ice cream coolers along one wall and a refrigerated cooler with juice cold brew canned coffees, bagels, fruit and other items. There's plenty of seating and plenty of space so you aren't on top of others. They have bistro tables, high chairs with a counter along two windows, low tables for 2/4/6 people for privacy to collaboration, and they have comfortable chairs and couches with coffee tables. It's a great place to start your day, conduct business, meet up with family and friends or to just kick back with a nice cup of Joe and a decent nosh.

Great find. Excellent Columbe Coffee and a great selection of food items. I can't wait to return soon.

    Vanilla Latte. Poorly made.

Service was extremely slow on a Saturday afternoon with hardly any customers. The young barista was very slow with orders. They even lost my order. Customers who ordered after me got their drinks and food. When I asked, they were not sure what to do. ( Make my drink!!! lol I've been waiting for 20mins!) My latte was made with steamed milk effortlessly poured on top. A beautiful cup of latte art indeed. I would not returning. Horrible service. Very disappointed. Sloppy job on the coffee. That latte was not worth $6.

Came to have a work meeting. It was pretty chill on a Thursday afternoon. Lots of room to chill and have a coffee and they have the option to have coffee in a real cup if staying in! I got a caramel latte- it was good. They have Jeni's icecream if you want a sweet treat along with a bunch of other items.

This cafe is located right next to the gas station. It's a family friendly cafe. When we walked in we were warmly greeted by the barista. Who took our order, and made our drinks. They have seats if you wanted to get some work done. The ham and cheese spiral was delicious! I got the cold brew and it was a bit watered down, but still tasted great. My favorite part is that they offer all of the Jeni's Ice Cream flavors. They had all of the newest flavors too. If you're looking for a cafe to get some work done, and enjoy a cup of coffee - Cafe De Oro is the place to go!

Omg such an absolutely adorable coffee spot! Let's start with the interior, warm and inviting atmosphere, couches available to lounge. They sell Jeni's ice cream here too! Service was friendly and warm as well. We started with a: chocolate croissant - crispy, flakey on the outside, warm, soft and gooey chocolate inside. Orange Cranberry scone - first scone I had that was not dry in the slightest. Moist and delicious. Banana chocolate chip bread - dense, moist and delicious Hamd and cheese swirl - crunchy exterior, soft inside, and the salt from the cheese and ham compliment the pastry perfectly. 20 oz latte, cold, with almond milk and sugar free caramel - very very good coffee and happy to see sugar free options 20 oz mocha, cold, while milk and sugar-free hazelnut - perfection!! Definitely give this place a try!!

There are two entrances, and you order from the kiosk. You can order from their menu, or build your own flavor. It goes like this, they add your flavor and mixins plus cream to a super cold plate. They mash it up with what looks like paint scrapers, then spread this mixture paper thin. Then they scrape it, making thin rolls of ice cream. The workers are super meticulous-- this is hard work. They're going to have amazing biceps at the end of this summer! Be patient -- this process is not quick -- everything is made to order; you see exactly what goes into your flavor and it's mesmerizing to watch. I ordered Coffee Lovers flavor -- and I watched them pour coffee, cream and 1 graham cracker and make that into coffee ice cream. Now, they added whipped cream and caramel sauce too, so there's that. My friend ordered Key Lime, and their order was juice from a lime wedge, cream, and one graham cracker. It was also topped with a toasted marshmallow -- so cute! The resulting flavors are not very rich -- kind of like a flavored ice milk -- but there are times when that's what you want. They also offer smoothies, lattes and bubble tea (looked amazing). What's cooler than being cool? Ice cold!

There are two entrances to the store, i can see that during a busier time that ordering at the one kiosk that's in the center area would be a pain. You may be better off ordering online. We ordered their mango lychee special rolled ice cream with extra lychee boba. The ice cream was very tasty, light and very full of fresh fruity flavor. Now with the cicadas gone we were able to enjoy the treat at their very pleasant outdoor seating area. We will definitely consider going back when we want a special 'cheer up' treat again!

Ice cream. After spending the day outside and then grilling out, we (obviously) needed ice cream to complete our Saturday. We popped into Scoops and Cookies because it's not far from our house and because Homer's Ice Cream is always an enticing offer. They have a *ton* of flavors. The screens above the counter showcase everything, while you can see some of the flavors in the case. We sampled a few before deciding on a scoop of cappuccino chip in a sugar cone (mine) and two scoops of butter pecan and cookie dough in a dish (his). We were helped by who we assumed to be the owner, who was friendly and also keeping things moving as groups (understandably) hemmed and hawed over their flavor choices. While we weren't here for cookies this time, they piqued our interest and we'll explore that more on our next visit. There are quite a few tables inside with lots of seating, and everything was clean. Did this just become our new favorite ice cream place? Maybe!

One of my favorite things in the world is Taro so getting a Taro freeze with boba and clear jelly sounds like heaven to me. This is exactly what I got and it was delicious! There is plenty of space in the entryway to stand around, though actual seating is limited. That being said, I can't recall ever having a horrible wait time if we came when it was busy. The hosts are good about getting people on the list and seating them at a reasonable pace. It's also pretty sweet to see the dessert counter at the front so you can see what treats they offer. As I stated previously, the inside looks nice and furnishing is well maintained. It definitely shows when they are rushed however, as the floors usually need to swept. The last time I went there was also crumbs on the napkin they placed on our table. The menus are big but they do have stuff for every palate to pick from. The free bread is alright, nothing too wild. The servers are always warm and welcoming, and very knowledgable of the menu. It can take a little while for the food to come out but it's worth the wait in my opinion. The crispy fried cheese is a little greasy, but quite tasty. It's a big portion but fulfilling for sure. The flatbread pizza was enjoyable as well, with a good crispy crust. My girlfriend also felt highly about the Teriyaki Salmon Bowl. She said it was quite flavorful and unique. We also agreed that the fries were a banger as well. Right amount of crispy and seasoning. For dessert, my go to is always the Oreo dream extreme cheesecake. 100% a must have for oreo lovers. Not too sweet but still hits well. So, a few minor kinks to work out but otherwise a worthwhile dining experience. Will always recommend as a good spot for comfort meals and family time, and great cheesecake.

The restaurant was spacious and absolutely beautiful! Since we were a party of 10, it took a while to gather orders but we started with some drinks and appetizers. My nephew and I decided on the Strawberry Spritz. It was refreshing and tasted like Summer in a glass, we thoroughly enjoyed it. We also ordered the Warm Crab Dip but we didn't care for it. It lacked any type of crab or seafood flavor and had a weird texture. We added salt/pepper and hot sauce and it still didn't taste good. As we waited for our entrees, we noticed how dirty our silverware was. My spoon was actually stuck to the napkin. Our server brought out more silverware but some of us just opted for plasticware. My Thai Lettuce Wraps were delicious, it's one of my "go-to" orders and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I tasted my mom's Shrimp & Chicken Gumbo. The chicken tasted like tofu and it didn't have any type of gumbo flavor, I didn't like it at all. My nephew ordered the Chilaquiles and I thought it was pretty good. Overall, we had a great time just being together to enjoy my dad but I wish we had a better experience. Our server wasn't very attentive and some of the food seemed to miss the mark.
