I've gone to cafe lola several times and it's the cutest place ever. this time was for a private Sesame Street event. A little pricey ($216 for 3 adults and one 2 year old) for salad and pizza, but the character was a bonus. They also did a little magic show. Would have liked for some more games for the kids to keep them entertained maybe some coloring or, balloon person? Overall super cute, just pricey. read more

Not sure how this place says open. Yes the interior is very Instagram worthy and pink and I'm sure teen girls love it, but the food is average and customer service is zero. It's counter service to start and always a bad attitude like they are doing me a favor to take my order. Really bad for the first employee you talk to. Food orders never come out together, and this happened on all 3 visits. Last visit my friend had actually finished her entire waffle before I got my quiche. We were brought the wrong coffees twice. This is the most adorable little coffee shop! The pastries were super fresh tasting - not one of them tasted like they were boxed! The Nutella cookie was tasty and the lemon ricotta cookie was absolutely delicious! The raspberry donut with cream puffs on top was amazing! The "frosting" tasted more like cream than sugar and was to die for! The vanilla truffle berry tea left a little to be desired flavor wise but was cute. The only con I have is that one of our drinks we had to ask for 3 times after the others were brought to the table. Cafe Lola has a beautiful aesthetic, and the marketing is unmatched. Although, I believe that's why it appeals to out-of-state customers, as it is an "Instagram and TikTok" spot. I went here once and never went back. The drinks and food are mediocre. There is too much going on the menu, and have a small kitchen to handle this menu. My friends and I waited an HOUR AND SOME for our food and drinks. It was even as simple as grilled cheese. It was not worth the wait. Hospitality would teach the employees that if we've been waiting a long time, to at least give us some free chips. We even said we would pay for the chips because we were waiting for an hour+ and HUNGRY. The register also stopped working, so we were going to pay in cash. Then, they said they can't accept cash. The employees were young and probably did not know about service recovery. The owner is lovely and has put a lot of effort in Cafe Lola, but to have four locations, you would assume they'd be a master in customer service and flavorful food and drinks. If you want a picture and an event venue, then come here. If not for those two things, skip Cafe Lola. Save your time and money. read more

The service was great but the managers service was poor. His disposition was very rude as if he was agitated and couldn't handle his job duties. It took forever for my food to come out and my order was incorrect. I went up to the manager who was taking orders, and he pushed back instead of providing proper service for a mistake he made!!! I was so excited to try out this cute cafe. I'm from California but was in Las Vegas for a few days. This cafe definitely met my expectations. I came two days straight while I was in town. The inside has beautiful pink inspired decor with chandeliers, flower walls and even a phone booth filled with flowers. It definitely makes it more of an experience. The food was delicious and reasonably priced! I tried the breakfast croissant and the 24k iced coffee. The presentation was as good as the taste! The service was great the first day I went. But the second day I went the waitress working forgot to place our coffee order and wasn't very accommodating. And then they didn't add the same decor to my coffee as they did the first day and it was a lot less busy than the day before. The staff definitely has a lot to do with your experience. It was almost all different people working the next day. Overall, definitely give this cafe a try you won't be disappointed. read more

I love this place! Upon entering it was quite busy but there was still multiple tables to seat at. Be aware that this place can be quite pricey but not too bad. I ordered the the Lola'a Classic Soup and Sammy, which was a Tomato Bisque and Prosciutto Grilled Cheese. It was the best tomato soup I've had and I'll definitely be back just for that! I didn't order any drinks, as nothing really peaked my interest and I wasn't gonna pay $6+ on a drink I didn't want. Therefore, we decided to go to another cafe after brunch. I love the aesthetic of the place and my friends and I choose this cafe specifically for that. There are good photo ops like the swing or telephone booth. Photo Ops, atmosphere, and menu were plentiful. Decor was perfect for a girls brunch or even a bridal shower as they do hold private parties. Everything we ordered from the menu was delicious. I am all about supporting small businesses but unfortunately the service and quality is not here. There is a gap between the prices they are charging and the quality of the food and service offered. You have to go to the counter and order your food. They don't even bring you water and silverware. You have to get water on the counter and make sure to grab yourself silverware because they won't bring it to you. I am ok doing those things but not with the prices that I am paying. Sorry guys. A pretty stage for social media is not enough to keep a business going. The chicken in the salad doesn't taste fresh and there was a lot of dressing in the salad. Once again Cafe Lola disappoints. I got here at noon to order a salad (just a salad) and it took 1 hour and 15 minutes. The line to order alone was 25 minutes. There is only one cashier even though i counted 11 employees behind the counter. Clearly customer service here is an issue. The back of house and front of house operations is a mess. I took my burrata salad home only to discover that it wasn't nearly as good as last time. It was missing the balsamic reduction and the homemade breadcrumbs were chewy and not crispy. I also ordered a chocolate croissant, the inside is not cooked well, there's raw dough. The place is cute and the menu can be good but this place is all fluff and no substance. Maybe they don't care here, or don't have to...90% of the demographic are young girls chasing the next Insta pic or women of status who have no quarum to pay for overpriced latte. So why do I come you ask? Because it's close by and if you can bypass the inconvenience of poor and slow service then you get some decent food (like the berrylicious toast, avocuddle toast, etc.). I applaud the women empowering women motto backed by the female entrepreneurs owning this second location, but let's round up the troops clean-up the service ladies...BASIC TIPS: 1) the staff to greet you should be smiling, polite and professional, 2) the person taking your order should be knowledgeable about the menu and remember basic details or write it down, 3) if you pass me by 3x and I don't have food or a drink, it's been awhile, check on the status of my order or offer a simple glass of water, 4) don't deliver half of the order to a table and make the other half wait and watch, this is terrible, and 5) consistently review feedback from your customers from Yelp and other channels to help groom/train your staff on ways to improve - we're all humans but let's see more effort rather than just a laid back approach. read more

Super cute place. The food was really good. We ordered the chips and onion dip to start and it was soooo good! Then my sister and I shared the avocado toast and the bistro burger. They were both delicious. I didn't really enjoy the truffle chips, but others in my party did (guess my palate isn't sophisticated enough). I had a gold creme brûlée latte and my sister had the frozen lemonade. Both were super tasty. The real reason we came here though was for the kids. They both started with drinks - one had a color-changing lemonade (which she enjoyed but didn't finish as she said it got too watered down) and the other ordered the unicorn hot chocolate (which is supposedly pink, but with the whip cream, who could tell). They both ordered unicorn waffles and proclaimed them winners. We ordered a few macarons for desert and they were really good too. When the server heard the day before was my birthday, she brought me an adorable little cupcake, which was really sweet considering we weren't there for me. The reason I'm not giving this place 5 stars is the service was a little slow (I know you should take time and really savor the food, but try telling an impatient 5 year old that). I wish my review was under better circumstances but unfortunately Café Lola lacks major customer service . I celebrated my 30th birthday with a brunch at the Cafe' with my family , we ordered $400 worth of coffee bagels sandwiches cupcakes and cocktails . Our food took an exceptionally long time to come out, they forgot to bring half of our order , and to top everything off the server had spilt ice coffee down my brothers back . To say that we had a terrible experience is an understatement. The manager didn't show up to our table until 20 mins after the ice coffee incident. She rudely approached the table , didn't really introduce herself , asked what happened ,didn't really apologise for the incident and went on back into the kitchen . She forgot to bring my brother a new iced coffee , so we had to awkwardly ask if we could get another ( thinking it was common sense to bring it out as sin. As it was split on him) . Thank goodness it wasn't hot coffee . It was the most awkward experience I've ever had with management in a restaurant. Having left the cafe confused, upset and quite honestly offended at the lack of empathy, I decided to email corporate. I received a response email from Trevor H. (Regional general Manager) Stating that I would get a refund and a gift card for my troubles . I have yet to receive a refund six months later. I have emailed several times since then and have yet to receive a response. I'm shocked at the terrible customer service I've received. I'm not one to write negative reviews but I felt it was important to make sure someone else's birthday isn't ruined with lack of customer service or empathy. This is a quaint cafe( very pink)boarding on somewhere between a good " social media picture" opportunity place and a good lunch cafe. The food was good the first time I went, although they gave our order to someone else so it was probably 25 minutes until we got our sandwiches, but everyone was very nice . Second time we had the high tea which was lovely, sandwiches and treats. Just a note though, with high tea there's a pot of tea to share which came with no milk, teaspoons or sugar which I guess I expected as it's an English thing. Horrible place to pickup from, I waited 40 minutes for a small pizza and small salad, when I walked into cafe lolas I told them my order they said it was coming right up, after 10 minutes they said I needed to wait 10 more minutes, then after that I was ignored. 15 more minutes passed, so again I approached the counter and the manager told me my order was coming up, another customer who was waiting since before I arrived asked about their order, when he was told he'd have to wait 15 more minutes and he decided to leave, the girl behind the counter then decided she had to laugh and tell everyone how she made another customer leave. I received my order at 7:00 pm I arrived at Lolas at 6:15 order was supposed to be ready at 6:19 so I'm total I waited for 41 minutes which wouldn't be a big deal if they at least treated people with respect in their place. read more

A+ for cuteness C- for service Wanted to come here for a while so my daughter surprised me for my birthday. We waited about 15-20 minutes before we ordered. There was 4 in our party, one is very picky, we explained this when we ordered and were very specific about her order. We ordered a bunch of stuff, carafes of drinks, pastry basket, and lunch. The server kept yesing us, we had to ask for things 2 times he just kept forgetting to bring stuff like cutlery, napkins, our drinks, and out of the 4 meals only 1 was correct. Example: we ordered items with bacon and avocado , there was no avocado to be seen but bacons on everything thing, yikes for my non pork eating guest. We had to flag down another worker to have her get things right. We ordered 2 carafes, Bellinis and Sangria. The Bellinis were frozen impossible to drink and extremely sweet, we had to order 2 splits of Prosecco to fight off the sweetness and make it more liquid to drink vs being so frozen it would move out of the glass. We finally get our 2nd after asking 3 times and it was bitter and disgusting, $33 dollars not good. The server that seemed more knowledgeable came over and actually tried it herself and realize they forgot key ingredients and took off the bill. Overall they made things right, but come on.
