So after I walked in the door.. and sit down.. one of the waitress came .. and we order 3 cafe xua da.. the girl took our order and walk away.. i am a firm believer in customer service.. she didn't even smile.. or ask how are you doing.. or anything like that.. maybe she had a bad day ? or she didn't get none last night.. but whatever the case.. work is work.. she need to smile.. or atleast fake the smile.. our water/tea didn't even come out till 10 minutes later.. that a bad service.. i understand the noise.. level.. smoking.. loudness or the girl too busy serving tea/water/coffee all the time.. so i didnt expect them to have time and sit and talk.. but customer service is the most important.. some of the girl are hot though.. i give you a star for that.. this is a good place if you want to come and watch a game or so.. otherwise it would be boring.. like everything else.. read more

Cafe Lu apparently is another Vietnamese lingerie booty cafe that I forgot to review on my last visit to Orange County. Similar to GZ and other cafes in Little Saigon, the girls wear skimpy lingerie that shows off their hot bodies as they serve strong Vietnamese coffee and smoothies. Unlike the other cafes, Lu is well lit and seems to have better ventilation so the cigarette and cigar smoke isn't so thick. Also, the girls at Lu do not flash their nipples at customers, unlike the girls at GZ. The girls do sit and chat with customers when they are not slammed with orders, and they are very sweet. Similar to all the other Vietnamese cafes, Lu has plenty of flat screen TVs to watch games, free wi-if, and plenty of electrical outlets. So, you can play or work on your lap top while enjoying the eye candy and looking at the games on TV occasionally. Bring cash because Lu doesn't take credit cards. read more

Had a good time with my friend who dragged me there. It is definitely real cool because it is different from your typical smoothie or coffee shop. Very strange that no food is sold i don't understand how they make a profit other than customers coming to get WiFi and check out the beautiful girls, but never the less they are beautiful like art and who does not like a live art piece haha. Cafe Lu is special because they have the right secret formula (better then coke) for success! As you, enter into the court-room at Lu's, the law changes in favor of freedom for the people. That is what happiness is all about having the freedom to enjoy yourself. The staff knows the way you want it and how to serve your every desire. The place is so cool, calm and in control even on busy weekends. The staff gets it right every time because of a high level of experience. I would give ten stars for the real score for Lu's liquid coke a cola in a bottle style and service with a smile and a good experience as you enjoy the largest quality drinks in OC. So I heard about this place on the news. I was with a male colleague of mine and were in the area so HE decided to "stop by and enjoy the scenery." Now, I'm a big fan of Viet coffee so hey, maybe check it out. We walked in, saw people smoking which I personally did not like. So we sat in the corner furthest away from everyone. Their iced coffee was STRONG, just the way I like it. But it was $6 each...so in the end, maybe it would be worth it if I was into drooling over the girls. Cafe Lu is a likeable place with a weird vibe. Service isn't the fastest one but is definitely cute. The truth of the matter is that people SHOULDN'T come here if they expect a five-star service, drinks or whatever, and they don't. They come to look at the hot girls in bikinis. And that is delivered. Prices are fair, although there are cheaper places. A tip for single guys - try to go here on a body paint day. Entertainment is OK, there's funny Viet pop music playing 24/7 and the huge flat screens are always turned on to the sports channels. Waitresses just bring you your drinks and fill up your iced tea...no conversation at all...I don't see the point dropping big tips on girls when they're being compensated $18+ an hour and the drinks are extremely expensive. I was recommended to try this place before I moved out the area and for obvious reasons. The place seemed cool but when I walked in I was not greeted. Some hostess that thought she was to cool to help me. Went during the day which may have been the reason. Either way she directed me to the other location that sells alcohol because they don't. Great place if you like HALF NAKED ladies, but not NAKED GIRLS. Great food, but i honestly feel they have a great reputation due to their instagram page. They dont really interact with their customers, mostly hanging out by the front counter. Cafe Lu is more of a tourist attraction, kinda overrated. Came in to visit post covid and surprised to see they made progress during covid times and renovated the whole place. And changed everything to meet our new pandemic rules. Customer crowd was approx. 90% Asian and the rest Latino... I was "the white guy." That doesn't really bother or make a difference to me, except I felt invisible/ignored by the girls who were chatting and talking with all the other customers and walking right by me without even glancing in my direction (including girls I tipped when they refilled my tea)... I read another review on here that said the girls ignore everyone but the regulars, which may be true, but I have noticed this same pattern at other Vietnamese coffee shops as well... I was a regular before the pandemic here and still seemed to be ignored backthen as well. Not sure what to say except I always make certain to tip well, so it ain't that... Anyways, as others have noted, girls are quite attractive overall. Coffee is decent. I usually like just adding Sriracha and Hoison sauce as an extra touch, but felt like I needed to double up on it because the broth was not flavorful anymore.
