I love it. It's pretty awesome. The presentation of teaching us how to cook is pretty cool and can improve. Omg pizza was amazing. Class was great!!

Such a great concept done well! Sara and Marcus were so awesome! First we were given a demonstration of how to prepare a frittata and paella with tips techniques and expert guidance. I also enjoyed how they demystified having the exact right ingredients or being totally focused on following recipes to a T- instead favoring developing a creative palette. Next, we moved into the kitchen to prepare the dishes in a team cooking environment. Sara was so kind, engaging and supportive in the cooking process. And Marcus was always close by to make a killer cocktail or pour some wine or beer. The only thing that could have improved on the experience was to offer so e other higher end beers from device, track 7, fieldworks etc.

once again the owner is all that and a bag of chips. really welcoming people. they keep you engaged and active throughout the whole experience. they have really nailed the entertainment side of the class. love the affordability and the extras they provide. it was super cool to see how the children participate as well. my daughter had a ball cooking her pizza while I was doing some teambuilding with the peeps. food came out great, drinks were cold, they gave me snacks is good all good we did the pizza making class was awesome!

Affogato or a scoop of ice cream?

First I recommend that if you want to take a class, that you choose a cuisine you have no experience cooking . I made the mistake of choosing Italian. My grandmother was probably rolling over in her grave when the gin-soaked chef suggested cooking with canola oil. The chef was also talking about the price of gas and other topics while continuing to sip . When we finally got to cook, it was fun interacting with others but we waited a really long time to get the food Maybe it really took 45 minutes to melt cheese so I'll give it a pass. Then came the dessert affogato- They were supposed to pour Amaretto on top but didn't because'He got an important phone call' I kid you not. There were plenty others working who could have done it and he still could have walked around and poured it on top but didn't. I took one bite of the dessert and decided it wasn't worth the calories. Not returning but will try another school. Hint: bring your own apron or they charge you Also make sure you use a Groupon

Couldn't wait to get into this cooking class finally got my shot. It's worth the wait. This cooking class I purchased was for a great discount price. It's a great well taught class hands on experience they show and tell you and give you great lessons. The instructor was very great and information with a great sense of humor. It made me want to change career paths. Cook is a Art! Great dating idea for dating! Napoli Culinary Academy is a non-profit organization offering Diplomas in the Culinary Arts Management Program in addition to providing educational services for the community in many ways. I will be back in the future for a couple of classes. Be sure to book in advance.

Without the Groupon, I don't think I'd ever stop here. It's buried in a corner of a strip mall behind another building labeled "culinary academy" aka cooking school. I was surprised to see escargot and hummus on the same page, but they were on their menu. Mom got the eggplant parmesan. Thinly sliced, breaded and fried eggplant on top of what looked like spaghetti noodles. I got the fettucine carbonara. When it first came out, I thought the sauce was a bit thin (think milk viscosity), but the sauce was warm so I think it reduced and thickened up a bit as I ate. In the picture towards the left are windows where it looks like classes could be taught. It did take a while for the food to be served, as I saw one chef and one host, but it was decent, if not better than decent in my book. Portions were huge- we both brought food home. I brought over half of my meal home not because it wasn't good, but because there was soooo much of it. This is not a knock of the place, but it is not "upscale." It is a place of learning apparently. I guess I'd say it was about on par with a Cheesecake factory in terms of food...minus the cheesecake. (take that as you may) And much much smaller....I just can't think of another restaurant with which to compare this one.

Bought the Groupon a couple months ago and decided on "The Art of Making Pizza" course. I decided to browse the reviews on Yelp and based on all the bad reviews I went into the class a bit nervous. I would definitely not pay 'full' price (around $156), but I would definitely get another Groupon and try out some of there other courses. We started off the class with the 'demo' and there was a lot of good fun humor. I don't think that Hassi means to offend anyone and anyone who would take offense to that needs to chill TF out! Go see a comedy show (or maybe not because it will ruin your life if you're that fragile). I was getting pretty full from all the samples from the demo. In addition, I had my free glass of wine and some delicious hummus prior to the class. After the demo we got started with our creation. I decided to make a pizza, but was bummed that I could use the pizza oven (NBD tho). It was still tasty. Everyone washed their hands before and the ovens are so hot that I was fine with it (and I always have my hand sanitizer on deck)! Anyways, germaphobes-I bet there is a lot of germs lurking at any restaurant so if you're really that worried, you probably shouldn't eat out at all! All in all, I will definitely go back and I wouldn't let all the bad Yelp reviews discourage you from trying this place out for yourself!

We've been looking for new places to learn to cook and through Groupon we found Cafe Napoli. The registration was pretty straight-forward. You log on to their website, select your class, enter your groupon code, and then show up for class. We signed up for the pizza making class. When you walk in it looks like a normal "hole-in-the-wall" cafe. We didnt know what to expect because all the other cooking classes we've been in have taken place in large teaching kitchens. I thought that we would cook in the back but instead the cafe reserved the rear of the cafe for demonstrations and eventual prep work for pizzas. It worked out better than I expected. All of us were seated around the chef while was showing us the techniques we will be learning. It was a little lengthy but the included drinks and sampling along the way helped a lot. The chef was pretty easy to understand. He mixed in humor and instruction to keep the atmosphere light. I thought this would be more of a start from scratch pizza class, start at making dough and end with putting it in the oven but it was more a pizza construction class. We were taught how to make pizzas, calzones, and strombolis. From how the press the dough to how to place toppings. Once we were done out creations were either put in the wood fire oven or the standard oven. It tasted really good. From the dough that was made to all the toppings used. We were given the recipes for the dough and the sauces we used in the class. Overall I had a pretty good time. The cafe was a little small for the class size we had so were bumping elbows often. The food tasted authentic and delicious. The chef was knowledgeable about the finer aspects of pizza making and he was there to help us make great food. I've tried the recipes at home and ive been able to produce similar results so I would say that I passed this class. The restaurant also offers a lunch menu with very reasonable prices. Would I do another class here? I would but only if I could get a good deal again.

Cafe Napoli. Also a culinary academy. The place has a short opening Monday through Friday from 11am to 4pm. In this short opening of a window, the place serves excellent quality Mediterranean and Italian food! Of course one would have high expectations for a restaurant that also moonlights as a culinary school but the place will match your expectation and more, once you see and experience dining here you'll know what I mean. The place is well decorated Italian style with classical Italian music in the background. There is many available seating in the back, right next to the kitchen and few more up on the second floor where it looks to be for VIP or you can dine outside in their patio area. The place serves a variety of food that will cater to anyone. Burgers, pizza, pita gyros, calzone, Stromboli, pasta and more. I arrived at 11:50am and around 12:30 it started getting really busy. Water was served in a glass bottle with a cup filled with odd looking ice. The ice appeared to be cork stopper shaped. Interesting.. The place also has a bar that serves wine and beer. I had the sultani combo plate although I'd rather have something more familiar to me such as the fettuccine shrimp Alfredo. I chose the sultani combo and it was very delicious and well balanced meal! The kiwi tart pastry was a little tough to dig into but it was a great little dessert. Next time I'll just have to try their many different approach to cream puffs! Everything I had here was excellent! and Yes I will definitely be coming back here to try their pizza.

    Beef koobideh: $4.95
    Sara B.

We came here a few months ago because we had heard their Persian food is super cheap and good. Upon walking in, we noticed how empty it was. The sitting area was small and dark and the decor was tacky. It's a Persian restaurant but there were Italian decorations all throughout the place, which may seem irrelevant to mention but it was just so strange that I couldn't help noticing it. We ordered their beef koobideh, which was $4.95, along with a few Soltanis, and their Fettuccine Alfredo. We also ordered their hummus as an appetizer. They brought us out silverware, which was really gross. We picked it up to use and noticed food stains on all of them (we were a party of four.) We told our waitress and she didn't seem surprised or too concerned, as she didn't even apologize but rather, went in the back to get us new silverware. A few that she had brought out were still dirty, so it took her another trip to the back to finally bring out a decent set of silverware. The hummus was very good and flavorful and was served with pita bread. Our entrees themselves were mediocre, at best. Nothing fancy or over the top but I guess for my koobideh, what did I really expect? I had only paid $4.95 but I had expected more because I had heard this place used to be really good. None of us were wowed by anything we ordered. In the end, it made us realize that you get what you pay for. If you want quality Persian food, you just have to suck it up and pay for what it's worth.

Spinach Lasagna. A liberal portion to be sure and nicely presented, The vegetables were properly steamed and fresh.

Roast & Grinds is tucked inside one of those professional medical office suites near the IVF facilities, and honestly? It's such a clean, cute setup that it immediately caught me off guard in the best way. The location feels polished, calm, and super professional without feeling cold or sterile. My husband actually found this place after specifically hunting for a good sandwich spot, and thank God he did because this sandwich changed the trajectory of my afternoon. The two girls working there were incredibly nice from the moment we walked in. I asked for a sample of the pastrami before committing, and instead of acting annoyed like some places do, they happily gave me one. The second I tasted it, I already knew I was done for. Then they heated the sandwich up fresh and absolutely put their foot in it. Now let's discuss the real plot twist here: the pepperoncinis. WHAT are they feeding those things?! Those were the hottest pepperoncinis I have ever had in my life, and somehow it made the sandwich even better. It was the kind of spicy where you pause mid-bite and reconsider your decisions... and then immediately go back for another bite anyway. "Hurts so good" is honestly the only way to describe it. Everything tasted fresh, the bread held up perfectly, and the whole experience felt surprisingly elevated for a tucked-away little café inside a business suite. Also, small detail that I personally appreciated: being connected near medical and wellness offices while still serving genuinely fresh, satisfying food just makes sense. It feels intentional instead of greasy or slapped together. Parking was easy, the entrance was simple to find right on the corner, and the whole experience was smooth from beginning to end. Only reason I'm doing 4 stars instead of 5 is because I want to try more of the menu before I fully marry myself to this place emotionally. But trust me: I will absolutely be back for that pastrami sandwich and those violently delicious pepperoncinis.

Most of the time, I forget those things. It was a nice surprise, they included those things. Wonderful service! It's the thoughtful little things that make a business standout than all the rest. Part of that is on us for stopping by later in the day and not calling ahead, but I did expect a bit more restocking with so much time left before closing. That said, what we ended up choosing from the remaining selection was still quite tasty. I just wish there had been more variety available.
