The salted brown butter and oat latte is absolutely worth the long line outside! Almost impossible to find a spot to sit inside unless you get lucky, but still worth going!

Autumn Spiced Latte
Maansi S.

Fantastic time here! I ordered the autumn spiced latte and it tasted just like fall in a cup! Although small inside, the cafe is so cozy and inviting. There was a line out the door to order but it went by very fast. I'd like to come back to try some of the other coffees on the menu! I haven't tried the food, which seems to be a reason for the low ratings, but the coffee is definitely worth it.

Great ambiance, but just okay food. I really wanted to love this place because the setting is lovely--very cozy and perfect for a date or hanging out. However, the food was a bit underwhelming. The green pasta looked better than it tasted (a bit bland), and the pizza was pretty standard. We finished off with the tiramisu, which was fine, but nothing to write home about. If you're in the neighborhood and want a nice environment, it's worth a stop, but keep your expectations in check for the food. Service is good too

Lowkey some of the best coffee I've had! The brown butter oat latte is 10/10 worth it and the line moves pretty fast! however $7-8 is a bit expensive but so good. Ambiance is so cute and intimate but not a place to sit more of a grab

Iced Caramel Latte

This was the first stop of my trip and it did not disappoint! The atmosphere was quiet and cozy, perfect for planning my day ahead. I enjoyed my iced caramel latte in a window seat, perfect for people watching. My waiter, Robert, suggested the bagel with smoked salmon. I'm glad I took his suggestion, it was the best smoked salmon I've ever had! My belly is full and I'm ready to take on the Empire State Building!

Long line but move quickly for take outs. Staffs are friendly and the latte is delicious. Not overly sweet and well balanced taste.

I stopped into Cafe Paradiso near Lincoln Center for a quick lunch and decided to try their half sandwich and soup combo. I went with the turkey, avocado, and Swiss sandwich along with a bowl of tomato soup. The sandwich was... fine. Nothing particularly memorable, just your average deli-style sandwich. What did surprise me though was finding a random piece of prosciutto inside; something not listed on the menu. That could be a real issue for anyone with dietary restrictions or allergies. Luckily, it wasn't a problem for me, but it definitely made me raise an eyebrow. The tomato soup was the bigger letdown. It wasn't very hot, and I honestly couldn't tell if it was meant to taste that way or if they'd just forgotten to heat it enough. It had the consistency and flavor of slightly warmed up ketchup, just bland and disappointing. For around $20+, the meal was not worth it. The service to be fair, was perfectly fine. My waiter Sally was friendly and attentive. But overall, Cafe Paradiso didn't live up to its location or its prices.

This is where you wanna go for some lite bites before your show. The menu has just the right amount of variety to get you satisfied before your main event. It's a great choice because it's located right in Lincoln Center. Reservations are encouraged. The three couples in front of us were turned away as we approached the host. It gets pretty crowded in there so we did right making that Rez on Open Table that morning! The entrance to this cafe is located INSIDE the Paradisio Theater. We lost 15 minutes trying to find it. There in 1 gender neutral restroom located outside across from the cafe (also INSIDE the theater entrance). It was okay to use but not the cleanest. We ordered the Mixed Board for 2 and a combo Soup and Sandwich. We chose the Tomato soup which was EXCELLENT and not salty. The sandwich was a meatball parm where we requested just a sprinkle of cheese (yes they do that!) The host was wonderful and astute to assisting the waitstaff who seemed overwhelmed with the influx patrons coming at once for all their shows. All in all a pleasant experience.

Delish food, friendly service. We went before a show, it was crowded, and they served us quickly. Convenient to Lincoln Center.

Not enough waiters, but the one we had was nice. They reheat pre-cooked food.....and not enough. Get pizza here. I assume that's ok.

BUT, my husband and I recently took a trip to Paris and I also love pain aux raisins. To our delight, Cafe Bilboquet has those too, so my friend and I each had a small coffee and a pain aux raisins. The pastry was as good as any that my husband and I had in Paris! I've also had lunch here with a couple of other friends in recent months. They have a good variety of pretty authentic French sandwiches and some quiches, eggs, etc. Not inexpensive, but the food is top-notch. You order at the counter, then move up to the cashier, tell them what your order is and pay for it. If you're lucky, as we were around 9:45 this morning, you'll get one of the little round tables where you can sit and chat and relax; in good weather there are some tables outside as well; a lovely boulangerie or patisserie experience!

Upon getting closer to the door, I learned it's part of Le Bilboquet restaurant on the same block. It wasn't too crowded when I visited on a Tuesday mid-afternoon. Every table except 1 was full, but most people were heading outside on such a beautiful day with their drinks and pastries. The cafe is very cute and French. They have so many pastries I couldn't decide, so I ordered a pain au chocolat and tea. They serve Harney & Sons teas. This is a lovely spot, and I'll return to try more.

We started with a bottle of the Alsace wine, which perfectly complemented our food and the Parisian vibe. I opted for the omelette with Gruyère which was delicious, although I found myself very full by the end, as it came with two sides. The fries were a must-have -- so crispy, salty & fresh. I'd recommend that at least one person at the table order them, but the portion is pretty generous. :) The service was nice, albeit a bit slow at times. We had the raspberry tart and the milk cloud cake. Price points were very high, even for midtown pastries. I enjoyed the milk cloud cake because of the black tea infused cream really came through. The other bits in it were not as impressive--the small chocolate bits were dry and this viscous layer in it (tapioca?) lacked taste. The raspberry tart was very adorable with two macarons. The tart shell was a bit dry and crumbly, but if you like raspberry the flavor does come through in the filling. The staff weren't warm in any way, but we're in midtown which tends to be hectic, and we were there at the end of the day so it's not a dealbreaker or anything really egregious. The place isn't very spacious for seating, so unless you're coming at a time that isn't busy, you might not get a seat/I'd plan around getting your sweets to go. That was no problem for me this time around, though. Overall this place is cute, and if you're looking for an Asian-inspired treat in midtown before a broadway show (Wicked is nearby) this could be an option for you. I just wouldn't expect it to particularly standout in terms of price and quality.

I always get almond croissants from coffee shops but wow this one has to be one of my favorites. The crunchy (sugar?) top coating and the filling were delectable. I got one of the seasonal spring drinks, called "Karl" which is a banana cold brew with cold foam. I don't even like cold brews since they tend to be super strong and pretty bitter, and banana can be a hit or miss, but I enjoyed the hell out of this drink. It was a bit sweet, which I like, and the cold brew itself had a banana flavor when I had just expected it to come from the cold foam. I didn't sit or stay inside as I had to go to work, but there are a few (maybe 5 I think?) chairs along a bar counter on the side. Plants in the window too which I love. The barista was nice and made the drinks quickly despite being there by herself early in the morning (or at least I didn't see another employee).
