Cheese Enchiladas, Carne Guisada Puffy Tacos and a Carne Guisada w Enchilada plate.

Delicious every single time we go... Food is always hot, never subpar and they are always welcoming and accommodating to any reasonable need. From the soups (like caldo and menudo), the botanas (nachoooss!) to the hearty tacos and plates...you're going to love every single item on their menu. The puffy tacos aren't greasy, they're light and fluffy while being perfectly filling. The carne guisada gravy cheese enchilada plate is to die for w their American cheese filling(or any one of your choice for that matter) and fluffy rice and bacon cannot be topped. The carne guisada puffy tacos and enchiladas tacos are the true stars though!! Try them out EXPEDITIOUSLY!!

Cafe san luis, fluffy beautiful tacos, ordered carne guisada, worth every penny! Check this place out for yourself!

The best potato & egg w/ their green salsa. It is excellent. The best cheese enchiladas in town w/ a guisada sauce. My food was excellent & affordable! You must try!

Still one of my favorite breakfast spots. Their tacos are on point. Tortillas homemade and fresh each time. This place is is a lil hidden on evers and wurzbach. Small inside well about 10-15 tables. I cant wait to be able to come here on a morning and sit down and eat. Thanks y'all!!

I read the reviews on this place and needed to stop in. Just a little place but service was great! The waitress wore a mask, the tables were clean & the food was very good & reasonably priced! I had 2 tacos, one potato & egg and one chorizo & egg on corn tortillas. Both had great flavor on very tender corn tortillas. He had the sausage & egg plate with refried beans, Country potatoes & 2 flour tortillas. It's tucked away on a busy intersection but has plenty of parking.

It's my first day off in weeks. It's time to catch up on long overdue errands of which I'm only halfway done at the moment. It's noon and time for lunch. Within this parking lot is Asian, Moroccan and Mexican. Mexican it is! I opt for the lunch special - two offered today but I choose picadillo plate instead of cheese enchiladas. It arrives pretty quickly. I grew up on the majority of my week having Mexican food. The food here hits the spot, easy on my wallet and I don't have to wash pots and pans. It's a win for me all around. Shop small. Mom and pop businesses really appreciate it.

Worst restaurant. I ate here and threw up immediately. I believe they put Sea moss in my food, which constipates. Don't eat here.

We ordered chips and salsa ($1.99) they came quickly. The salsa was tasty and not too spicy. I had Shrimp Nachos. There were plenty of them, lots of cheese and the guacamole was excellent, not a lot of stuff added to it. My husband had Carne Asada. It came with beans, tortillas and cheese enchilada. When he asked about barracho beans, Anthony brought them right away. The ice tea was strong and tasty and he kept our glasses filled. Everything was flavorful and beautifully presented. The building is new. It's very open with high ceilings, lots of windows and cement floors. There was plenty of outdoor seating. There were only a few parking spaces by the entrance. There was free parking on nearby side streets or paid parking in lots behind the restaurant. We would definitely go back when in San Antonio again. The drink menu looked fun! And they have a rooftop bar.

From the moment I walked in, I could tell this place was special. The atmosphere is beautiful, upscale, and inviting. The architecture and design throughout the restaurant are absolutely stunning. Even the restrooms were impressive and reflected the same attention to detail found throughout the entire establishment. The food was outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. This isn't your typical restaurant experience--the menu is creative, unique, and offers something different. You can tell a lot of thought goes into both the preparation and presentation of every plate. What really made the experience unforgettable, though, was the customer service. My waitress, Kreizon, was absolutely amazing. She was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely made me feel welcome throughout my visit. Great service can make a good meal even better, and she definitely elevated the entire experience. The outdoor dining area is also beautiful and creates a relaxing atmosphere that's perfect for enjoying a meal and taking in the surroundings. If you're looking for a restaurant that offers exceptional food, incredible ambiance, unique architecture, and top-notch customer service, Domingo is a must-visit. This is more than just dinner--it's an experience. Highly recommended, and I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in San Antonio.

Electronic dance music pulsed quietly in the background. The toilets were all individual unisex stalls that were classy, mine had run out of hand towels. Also, the entire restaurant is very dimly lit. I had to use the flashlight on my phone to read the menu, but I have poor eyesight so there's that, but it might explain the quality of the photos I took. The Paloma drink was amazing. It had a great spicy zing in the back of the throat after every sip. Queso was... kinda plain. It might have been better with the add chorizo option. It was very thick. Shrimp cocktail was big, but we started fighting over the shrimp pieces. There was plenty of onion and tomato left over after the batttle. Pollo Asado was a great flavor and the chicken was juicy. Grilled squash that was on the side was good. Chicken enchiladas were good and had freshly sliced jalapeños, which is always a welcome detail. I wasn't able to taste the quesadilla but my daoughter said it was "really good". Fried Chicken sandwich had a great flavor and the bacon was actually pork belly if I'm not mistaken. Sadly there was more batter than chicken. The seasoned fries were delicious and crispy.

We kicked things off with the Diablitos, bacon-wrapped chicken with just the right amount of serrano heat, paired with a rich red salsa that had us reaching for "just one more bite." The Huitlacoche Empanadas were another standout, with crisp blue corn shells surrounding a creamy, comforting filling that was both earthy and slightly sweet. For the main course, the Tex-Mex Deluxe was everything you hope for: a mouthwatering pork tamal, two perfectly cheesy enchiladas, and tender, flavorful beef fajitas. We also ordered the Tacos de la Casa, and the fish was incredibly fresh, moist, and seasoned beautifully. Every plate felt like it had been made with care. Of course, no meal at La Fonda is complete without drinks. We spent the evening sipping what may be the best sangria in San Antonio, along with fresh, perfectly balanced margaritas that paired wonderfully with every course. A special shoutout goes to Mel, who made an already great meal exceptional. Her recommendations for both the food and drinks were spot on, she was attentive without ever hovering, and she genuinely made us feel like valued guests throughout the evening. To top it all off, we dined in the gorgeous courtyard. With its lush landscaping, charming atmosphere, and relaxed ambiance, it's one of the most beautiful patios in the city and the perfect setting for a leisurely dinner. It was delicious! The concha was soft, buttery and flaky, with just the right sweetness. We took home the majority of it and it stayed nice and soft instead of turning hard like so many others. We decided to try several appetizers to go along with our concha to get a wider taste of their food than we would by just ordering a couple entrees. Let me tell you, this was a great idea! We ordered the Tosti-Ceviche Verde, Panela Asado, Mexican Street Corn, and their Spicy Bean Dip. The Ceviche Verde was excellent, the freshness of the fish and shrimp was wonderful with the chipotle mayo and avocado. We chose to have it on the salsa Verde Tostitos and it was all great combination. The Panelo Asado was a completely new dish for us and was extremely good with a savory flavor from the salsa Tlaquepaque that mixed well with the Panela cheese. Their tortillas though not made in house, are made for them and taste like mom made them. The Mexican Street Corn was great and had the perfect bit of char taste from the corn. It was creamy and flavorful, we did think it could use just a tad more lime juice though. The Spicy Bean Dip was very good. You can't go wrong with Oaxaca, Chorizo, and pieces of pork mixed with some mildly spicy beans. Our server was fantastic. She had great recommendations for us, and was quick with checking on our drinks and generally helping us throughout our dinner. The food was prepared quickly, was hot, tasteful and refreshing. We definitely will be going back, and recommend Pan Fila to all of you.
