This is a tricky one to review! Located in the heart of brickels financial district, embarcadero is an upscale peruvian fusion restaurant. The tiraditos are out of this world with fresh corvina and unique flavors! Highly recommend. The lobster although was great was a "baby lobster" not alot or protein for the price I think we ordered 3 dishes, no drinks and got hit with a $170 bill. Its more on the expensive side , i wouldn't say great value for money but i would say flavors are bold and food is fresh and great to save for a special occasion! read more

Nice spot a block north of las olas. I went there on a random weekday for lunch and it was pretty empty however the lunch special deals are really good! They have multiple options for ~$20 that provide plenty of food. I got their special with ceviche and two other dishes. I wish they had an option for just the ceviche because it was absolutely delicious! It also came with calamari with was seasoned well and the a seafood rice I did not like at all. The rice was overcooked and the seafood was as well. I took two bites and stopped eating it, it was not good. The pisco sours were strong but good. The staff were all friendly and attentive. I do think this is a place to try and highly recommend the ceviche. read more

I have never had Peruvian food before so everything was very fresh and new to me. We sat at the bar and it was not busy at all. Two bartenders one was very sweet and humble and the other one was stand off ish. Thankfully the one tour guided us on the menu because we had both never really tried Peruvian food before. We let him pick everything we ordered. Started with cooked scallops , had an amazing flavor and the lime added a bit of freshness to the dish. The scallops were great but a few of them were a tad over done, would still order again though. The tuna came on top of a fried potatoe steak type thing and had a super amazing sauce underneath . I was hesitant to try Peruvian food as last time I was not impressed. E41 was much different. It's more of a fusion place and upper scale. Full bar with homemade espresso martinis (no mix), and cold Peruvian beers. We tried a little bit of everything. The sushi rolls were different than a Japanese roll. They had a fusion twist to them. We checked out this new addition to the dining scene in Fort Lauderdale on a recent rainy night. Since it was raining, we chose to eat indoors-just know that it is LOUD in the place so not necessarily a place for a quiet conversation. The decor is lovely and our server, Jose, was over in a flash to tell us about some of his favorites on the menu. Know that it's a fusion of Japanese and Peruvian food and there were some hits and misses on the menu. The hits were definitely the ceviche mixto (delicious- we almost ordered 2!), the Pachipisco ribs (very meaty and took some home)and the chocolate cake we had for dessert. The misses? The sushi rolls lacked variety and are basically all built on the same panko breaded shrimp roll with different toppings so there wasn't a lot of taste variation. Also- one in our group had the parihuela, which is basically a seafood soup. It did not come with much seafood in it which was disappointing. So a 50/50 on the food. The drinks were well poured but like everything else on the menu, were pretty pricey, even for Las Olas. My dirty martinis were $21each, the lychee martini was $15 which seemed more reasonable and a Hendricks gin and tonic was $20. And the price for those ribs I liked? $40. Our bill for 3 with 6 drinks, 1 ceviche, 1 ribs, 2 rolls, the soup and the cake was $328 which include the auto 18% tip. The question I always ask myself when I review places is would I go again? I probably would as I'd like to try some more of the menu but i would try to sit outside so I could hear my table mates talking. read more

E41 just opened right off of Las Olas, so I stopped in yesterday for lunch and drinks. We sat at the bar, though the setup feels a little off. The bar is high and the stools aren't quite tall enough, which makes it a bit awkward. Hopefully they bring in higher stools. The menu is large with plenty of tempting options, but since it was lunchtime I went lighter and tried the salmon and tuna tartare spicy roll. It was fresh and tasty, though not really spicy despite the name. The bartender made an excellent lychee martini. I'd come back to check out their happy hour or try one of the classic Peruvian dishes for dinner. It is a great new addition to the Las Olas area and worth keeping on the list. read more

I'm a big fan of their food and when I was at a work meeting in ft lauderdale I was excited to find out they just opened their newest location in the heart of downtown on Las Olas. This location is right behind Yolo and has a great bar - perfect for people watching and sipping on a pisco sour . The ambiance is elevated with sophisticated decor. Great vibes for date night, girls nights or even business luncheons. We had great service and the food was amazing. Shocked to see that this location is no where near as good as the sunrise location that we have been going to for years. The food just tasted very bland, no spice, no flavor. The pisco sour cocktails are delish, love the maracuya one. The one aspect that needs to improves is the service. It took our waitress approximately 15 min to greet us and bring water over to the table upon arrival. From there, we didn't see our waitress again until she came in to check in on us once we were finished with our food, which was unfortunate since i was trying to get her attention for some salsa verde or any hot sauce. My boyfriend and I happen to be walking by and saw this restaurant so we decided to give it a try. They have outside dining but we decided to sit inside at the bar. Once you enter you can see their beautiful decor placed very well on the tables. Appetizer, we tried friend yuca which I do highly recommend. What a great happy hour!! Happy hour is only at the bar for certain bites and drinks. I went with my dad and brother and this new restaurant has all the hype - it was SLAMMED at 6 pm. We ordered an assortment of items - ceviche, rolls and the scallops on the half shell. The ceviche was my favorite - so so so good. And it had fried calamari on top! We went for happy hour on a Friday night and sat at the bar. The bar is very small. The dining tables butt up right next to one side of the bar so when you pull your bar seat out you are right on top of dining guests. There is an outdoor patio with dining tables. The tables inside are very close together and it gets loud. The food was good quality and tasted great. The bartenders didn't provide good service. We sat for awhile before being greeted and had to ask for menus. Each time we wanted to order something we had to flag a bartender down. There were four bartenders for the small bar so they were standing around not doing anything at moments and we still had to ask for service. read more

Went to the E41 Las Olas location with my family this past weekend. We are Peruvian and are always excited to try a new Peruvian restaurant. We sat outside as the weather was very nice and the table was very nice and comfortable. The music was a tiny bit to loud but we could still talk to each other. I checked out inside for and it had more modern decor and regular bar and even a sushi bar. For drinks the chichas moradas and cusqueñas were refreshing and reminded us of Peru! We ordered a lomo saltado which was authentic and delicious. The anticuchos were delicious but in my opinion needed a little bit more antichucho sauce. The ceviche mixto was also pretty good but lacked a bit of tastyness in the leche de tigre (maybe more lime juice) and spicyness even though we ordered medium spice. The Salmon in Anticuchera sauce was the highlight with the salmon cooked to perfection with the right amount of crispyness on the salmon. We also ordered the fettucine al pesto with lomo saltado...the lomo was great and tender however the pesto sauce was lacking the stronger basil flavor and was very creamy. Finally for dessert we have the Sombredosis de Chirimoya. Pretty good spongecake at with the chirimoya flavor. Overall E41 was pretty good but overally priced in my opinion. The portions are definitely large i guess to make up for some lack of flavor you expect from Peruvian cuisine. The service was top notch and everyone was helpful and attentive. We would definitely return to try more Nikkei options. read more

I went to your restaurant on Tuesday night for my birthday. While the restaurant is gorgeous and the food delicious, it completely lacked a drop of service. I want you to succeed. I will return. But you need to train the staff. 1. Upon entering, I asked a woman who seemed to work there, but was not dressed up, "Do you work here?" She either didn't hear what I said, due to the loud music, or she doesn't understand English enough. My guess is both. She replied, "Do you have a reservation?" No we did not. But she very nicely passed us to a young guy who sat us. 2. I asked the young guy if the music was loud all over the restaurant? He said he would turn the music down. It's inconceivable you don't know how inappropriately loud the music is for a restaurant. Are you a club or a restaurant? 3. He sat us, and turned the music down somewhat, but not enough for my taste. My mother and niece were in town, it was raining, and we didn't want to go elsewhere. We were looking forward to your restaurant. 4. We sat for at least five minutes with nobody even making eye contact with us. The staff goes back and forth with nothing in their hands, running like chickens with their heads cut off. They should never leave return to the kitchen without checking all the tables on the way back. There is always a dirty dish to pick up. 5. If I have to ask for a server to come over, that is not "service". They are order takers. 6. Finally the server came over. We were desperately thirsty for water so I asked for some. Our server seems to not understand English. I had to ask him three times to PLEASE bring some water over. Finally he did. 7. We were ready to order by the time he returned with the water. My mother ordered the scallop appetizers. I ordered the ceviche trio and a veggie roll. Then the waiter said he would get our food right out. My niece is 15 and is six feet tall, and the server didn't look at her, nor ask her for her order. I had to tell him to take her order and still, he seems to not understand English. He replied that he thought we were just ordering apps. But what we ordered was our entire meal. He asked if we wanted the food at the same time and we said yes. 8. Then we ordered two mocktails. I pointed to the passion fruit ones on the menu. We got two drinks and I tasted mine, and thought it had alcohol in it. The waiter said it did not. I did not like it. I tried it a 2nd time and thought for sure it had alcohol in it. The waiter returned a short while later and said we did have drinks with alcohol. He took them and returned with the mocktails. How is it possible we got alcohol drinks? Please make me understand this. 9. It was also freezing because the front doors of the bar were open despite that it was 60 degrees and raining I asked a busboy if he could tell someone to make it warmer. It got a bit warmer but not enough for me to take my coat off. I do not want to dine in a restaurant of this caliber with my coat on. 10. My mother's scallops came to the table. But not the other food. Nobody comes to a restaurant to watch the other people eat. Why wasn't our food brought out at the same time???? 11. Then my food came, which wasn't cooked so why isn't the kitchen in sync? 12. Then my niece's fettuccine arrived but easily 10 minutes later than my food. All our food was staggered. 13. Nobody ever came to ask if our food was acceptable. 14. Nobody ever explained to us why the food wasn't together. 15. Since it was my birthday, my mother whispered to the waiter to put a candle on the chocolate cake. When he came out with it, he thought it was my niece's birthday, despite that nobody told him it was. Clearly he doesn't understand English. 16. Additionally, I had to ask for soy sauce and wasabi for my sushi. It should be brought to me before the food arrives. 17. Despite that I was the only one having sushi, the waiter gave each of us a set up chopsticks. This is wasteful and he's wasting your money. 18. I got to go containers for my ceviche and the busboy brought the large plastic containers. Then as I began packing up my food to go, the manager came over and asked me if I wanted smaller containers. Why doesn't the busboy know to do this if you have them. 19. The automatic 18% gratuity wasn't communicated to me, that I saw and although I would have tipped 20%, presuming 18% for a party of 3, is ridiculous. The entire team sucked. 20. The employees are running back and forth doing almost nothing. 21. Before the cake came, they turned the music back up. I would like to return, but not under these circumstances. Do you care about any of this? This is not service. I literally had to ask for EVERYTHING for this experience. They are not servers. They don't understand English. They've not had a drop of training. I tried twice and both times horrible service, no comprende. And they put 18% auto gratuity on all checks, not just over 6 people. Bye! read more

I was extremely disappointed with my experience. I arrived on Saturday March 7th 2026 afternoon around 6:20 PM. There was a sign showing that happy hour was until 7 PM, so I decided to stop in and try the restaurant for the first time. I had actually parked nearby because I was going somewhere else, but the place caught my attention and I thought it would be a good opportunity to try it. When I arrived, I asked the host if I could sit at the bar for happy hour. She told me that happy hour was only Monday through Friday. I was pretty sure I had read the sign correctly, so I stepped away to double-check, and I was right -- the sign clearly said happy hour until 7 PM. I went back and waited in line again. When I spoke to the host, she again said no and even tried to help the customer behind me first. I found that extremely disrespectful. I had been waiting and simply expected to be treated fairly. After a moment, she seemed unsure whether I was allowed to sit at the bar and order. Eventually she allowed me to sit. Once at the bar, I ordered a couple of items and continued looking at the menu because I wanted to try more dishes. At 6:35 PM -- still before 7 PM -- I tried to order additional food, but the bartender told me I could not order anything else from the happy hour menu. At that point I was even more disappointed. I didn't want to argue, so I decided not to order more. The food I did receive was good, but the service and the overall experience were not. If a restaurant advertises something, they should honor it and treat customers with respect. I'm really disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. Please check your bill carefully before paying. They included a 30% tip in the check without asking or clearly informing me. Adding such a high gratuity automatically is unacceptable--especially considering the poor service and overall experience. Customers deserve transparency and the choice to decide their own tip based on the service they receive. This kind of practice feels misleading and unfair. Also, ask for a printed check. They try to have you pay directly on a small handheld machine, so you may not notice the charges. Even worse, after already including the 30% tip, the machine still asks you to add another tip and shows more percentage options, which could make you pay even more without realizing it. This is not honest or transparent. Just a heads-up to others: always review your receipt carefully and ask for a printed bill before paying.I will also be contacting my credit card company to dispute the transaction so I can pay only what is fair and accurate. Many people stay silent in situations like this, but businesses should not be making money this way. Who knows how many customers may have been overcharged like this without even realizing it. This kind of practice is very concerning. It was my first time visiting, and unfortunately it will also be my last. I had planned to enjoy and try several items from the menu, but the way the situation was handled ruined the experience. I'm including a picture of the sign to show what it said.
