This is my second time coming to this restaurant. We drove 45 mins to get here so clearly we really love this place. All of the food is fresh and you can tell it is made with love. The service is incredible and all of their staff is friendly. I am a big escargot fan and their butter garlic sauce is divine. We will be back again.

We could've gone back south to Great Barrington from our hotel in Lee, MA and driven the almost 20 minutes to a restaurant I peeked out the last time we were in the area, but decided to stay close by. And Triskele's French cooking, is one of the reasons why. The stars are all aligning for Triskele's French Chef and owner Gilbert, offering a comfortable, homey setting with incredible tasting food for this area. There are 3 dining rooms- 2 of those facing Main St. the other closer to the parking lot entrance with a softly-lit bar area. You can book through Resy which I noticed after I reserved by phone- but either way, you'll receive text reservation details and reminder. You'd be hard pushed to find a bad review here. Food is as good as you can expect from Triskele- think good tasting unfussy and hearty plates with a good dose of French music in the background. Our Sidecar and Cosmo cocktails were great and packed a TKO. The Beurre Blanc sauce in my Salmon dish was a bit loose- but extremely tasty. Hubs enjoyed his medium-rare rack of lamb and raved about the seasoned crust- even after we finished. He also felt the lamb was so tasty- that he didn't have the need to use the chutney/relish(?) it came with. Service was great! Margarite is a perfect blend of attentive and personal and Gilbert greeted us with the warmest smeyes as we headed out. Nice standout.

I am sad to say that I can no longer give them five stars. I used to rank this as one of my top three Berkshire restaurants. But no more. First, the prices have really jumped. Last night I ordered sole that cost $44. Really? It was good but not that good. And, they have started to nickel and dime the patrons. $5 to share a salad? $3 per substitution? Really? The menu is less inspired than it used to be. And, while this was five stars, it is not there now.

Table Setting, not the best picture, but it was gorgeous.

Delicious - much as it was last year when we visited the Berkshires. Very lovely service, too.

Although Poughkeepsie has a decent variety of excellent restaurant options, there aren't a lot of upscale places to select from. We opted to book reservations for Brasserie 292 for a Saturday night. When we arrived, we were nearing the end of the dinner rush. We were sat right away, unfortunately it wasn't all too romantic being sat in the middle of the restaurant but understandably the restaurant is on the smaller side. The waiter was attentive, and addressed any of our questions about the menu, even hunting down the bottle of pinot noir we ordered. We opted to start off our night by splitting a half-dozen oysters which came with their in-house hot sauce, and an order of pouple, which was cooked to perfection. For our entrees we selected the red wine braised lamb shank and the dry aged prime NY steak. Since sides for both entrees were not mentioned on the menu, we also ordered sides - wild mushrooms, brussels sprouts and crispy smoked peewee potatoes. Overall the food was excellent and I'm still dreaming about the mushrooms. If we lived locally, would we go back, maybe but overall we had a great experience. Since this was an upscale restaurant, I opted to not photograph our meals and enjoyed being present in the moment.

Every visit has been consistently outstanding. The food is simply exceptional. We've tried many dishes over the years, and honestly, everything on the menu has been delicious. You can truly appreciate the quality of the ingredients and the attention to detail in every plate. The service is equally impressive--friendly, professional, and always attentive, making every meal feel special. They don't offer a kids' menu, but that has never been an issue for us because our daughter has a very French palate and happily enjoys the regular menu. If you're planning to visit, I highly recommend making a reservation for the weekend, as it tends to fill up quickly. Also, keep in mind that they're closed on **Wednesdays and Sundays**. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply looking for an unforgettable French dining experience, Le Canard Enchaîné never disappoints. We always leave looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommended!
