I needed to update the review because I recalled there were numerous flinging insects that greatly detracted from our experience. I believe they were gnats or flies. It was uncomfortable having to repeatedly swat at those pesky intruders

I loved Cafe Wild! From service to ambiance to quality and quantity of food, everything was amazing! The employees are extremely friendly and accommodating for allergies and ingredient preferences! I had the vegan hash but was able to remove the mushrooms and quinoa and replace with another vegetable! Food came out fairly quickly, and wow!! So goooooddd! Would come here again just for the potatoes! Perfectly crispy and seasoned! Absolutely amazing experience! It's a quiet and relaxed vibe, which makes it easy to socialize and have a good time! Plenty of seating inside and some seating outdoors! There is metered parking outside but no parking lot designated for cafe wild! Would highly recommend!

Great service and friendly people. The coffee is so so, but the food is awesome and cooked with care. I know it can get crazy busy here, so thankful I got to try it. We came at 10:45am, and all the outside seating was taken. But, got to enjoy the food and good conversation with my boys. Enjoy!

Cute cafe by the beach- order at kiosk and you seat yourself with a table #. Banana pancakes and french toast were not too sweet, which is usually my gripe with sweet breakfast items! Breakfast sandwich looks good but I didnt personally try it. Prices are average for the area.

There was absolutely no reason not to do a full 5 stars for this experience! It was simple, last day of my LA trip with my daughter. Returning to MN to suffer the wrath that is winter...I wanted to eat somewhere by the beach, go for a walk, sit outside. This isn't hard in this neighborhood but I am also a foodie and trying to eat healthier in general but love that about SoCal. My daughter and I walk past, looked at the menu and the seating options and it was an easy choice! Sat down outside on the sidewalk with a view of the ocean on a wonderful December morning! I ordered the breakfast burrito with some kind of side and a coffee...my daughter...I think she had some eggs Benedict thing, an almond danish and some fancy drink! Food came out quick and it was delicious. Great ingredients , great service and there is no better view. All fantastic. Love small places that care so much about the food and the ingredients ! I would definitely come back, so many choices in this area but so worth the visit! KT

We had a good little breakfast here - got the burrito, hash & breakfast tacos. Everything was made fresh and the eggs were cooked perfectly. We got some Mimosas and they were generous with their OJ/champagne ratios! We sat on the street and that was a nice option!

Looking for some vegan breakfast, and found this adorable cafe the Vegan Hash with an Almond Milk Latte fit the bill! I will definitely return, the staff is helpful and accommodating, the location is charming! Just blocks from the beach! Wonderful way to start the day!

This place was super friendly, freaky fast and had a great outdoor seating option! The food was delicious and I thoroughly enjoyed my vegan hash. It was a great way to start the day!

Your typical dime a dozen brunch spot in an affluent area that is quite overpriced for what you get. Ambiance is fine with indoor and outdoor seating. Service was friendly although it took over half an hour to get our food during a time of the morning that was not very busy. Food was pretty good, but nothing spectacular especially looking at the price for what we got. Was nice to go there once, but I would not go out of my way to eat here again.

This is such a cute brunch cafe right by Manhattan Beach with the friendliest staff! The guy taking our orders was actually so nice and helpful, definitely embodying that kind beachy vibe. We sat outside which was cute with the blue exterior of the cafe and was great for enjoying the nice weather. For food we split the Smoked Salmon Toast and Good Vibes Burrito with chicken sausage. The toast was yummy with the everything bagel seasoning, and the burrito was hearty and delicious. The salsa and hot sauce was definitely helpful for the burrito. We got the burrito with the breakfast potatoes, which were tasty and went well with everything. I also got a cappuccino, which was frothy and good.

Cutest cafe we came across on our early morning. The sun was shining and just a light breeze so it was perfect to sit outside. The pancakes were delicious especially that cinnamon butter it comes with. The smoked salmon toast was good and that poached egg was perfect. My mom had the point break breakfast sandwich with no egg and she loved it. The service was great as well. They speak Spanish which is a plus. As for parking if you are out and about early then parking won't be an issue (street parking). You order and pay on the spot. They bring your food to wherever you sit. The coffee was amazing, they have a station on the side where you sweeten it to your liking. Will be back!

Breakfast is amazingly great here I always get the steak and eggs or the chilaquiles. Definitely recommend both plates.

Food is amazing with an amazing view of Manhattan beach. Staff is always friendly and greets you with a smile. The service is great. 10/10 I definitely recommend eating here & I will definitely be back!!!

The wrong burrito I didn't order.

The guy working the front was super duper friendly & they were quick. The vibe of the shop is nice. However, I had ordered 2 GOOD VIBES breakfast burritos both with a side of POTATOES. They walked out a bag to me mentioning 2 breakfast burritos. Didn't think twice about it. Walked out & got home to check my bag did not indeed have my GOOD VIBES & that I got 2 GREEN MACHINES. I'm not one to usually be upset, but this was an order all messed up.

Omelette with tater tots. Fresh and delicious.

Decided to try and share savory and sweet after asking the server what was popular. The server mentioned that they are known for their biscuits so we got the biscuit egg Benedict and she was definitely right because the biscuit as the base was amazing and the best part. The rest of the benedict were standard with the runny egg and prosciutto. We also got the peach french toast which was not too sweet as the walnuts and peaches pair well. The only thing is that the inside of the french toast was a little runny so it was slightly soggy. The location is convenient, right on the street and close to Manhattan Beach, so it felt like an easy spot to check out We ordered a bunch of different dishes to get a feel for the menu. Overall, the food was good, but I'm not totally convinced it matches the price point. The prawn was definitely a standout -- really delicious and probably my favorite of the dishes we tried. The cookie was a little on the dry side, though, and the steak was honestly underwhelming for a $120 price tag. The drinks were much more impressive: well-made, nicely balanced, and definitely on the sweeter side Service was definitely on point. They weren't constantly checking in, which I actually appreciated, but whenever we needed something, someone was there and very attentive. Everyone was also friendly and welcoming throughout the meal The ambiance leans more toward a bar-restaurant than traditional fine dining, but the interior has some classy design elements and definitely gives off that modern LA fine-dining feel I'd probably come back to try some of the other dishes before making a final judgment. There were definitely some highlights, and overall, I'd still say it's worth a visit if you're in the area -- just go in knowing the prices are on the higher side

The ribs had a slightly sweet taste to their sauce which is totally up my alley. My sister loved the meatloaf. The soft protein mixed with the crispy onions and veggies was a good mix. The Bloody Marys used to be exceptional, accompanied by their delicious fried blue cheese-stuffed olives. This time, I had to ask for the blue cheese olives, and they were served separately and were very different than they were in the past. The asparagus fries were also disappointing and not nearly as good as they used to be. For our entrées, the Chilean sea bass was overcooked, and the mashed potatoes were so dense it was like eating plaster. Overall, the food simply did not meet the standard Nick's was once known for. What was most disappointing was the experience with my certified service animal. Despite dining with a service dog, no one offered a water bowl, and I was told that I could not feed her the plain burger patty I had ordered and paid full price for. The interaction felt unnecessary and unwelcoming. Unfortunately, this visit was nothing like the Nick's we used to love. It's disappointing to see such a decline in both food quality and hospitality from what was once a favorite destination.
