I went for the first time Saturday after an architectural tour at the church of Nativity (hidden gem, check my review about it) and wanted to check some stores and grab some coffee. I liked my cappuccino but did not order any pastry because there were only a few left and they looked old and dry. Cute little corner coffee shop with several tables outside, very pleasant. Cute to see they have flowers from Floral Palette next to the coffee machine. Something cute to look up while waiting for the coffee:)

Oh my goodness!! What a gem. It was my first time visiting & I had a great experience. I was able to find parking easily, on a Saturday afternoon. It's located next to floral palette flowers and gifts It's a super small shop, but they have outdoor seating, maybe 7 tables? Maybe not the best choice for very large groups, but when I came, no one was having their coffee sitting down, they all did to go! The barista was super sweet & informative. She asked me if I was looking for anything in particular, and let me know that they roast their beans on site! I ordered tim's favorite which was a brownie and toffeenuts on top, a breakfast sausage croissant, and a regular latte. The brownie was amazing!! The breakfast sausage croissant was fluffy and soft and crispy on the outside, but not much meat inside, but lots of dough. The coffee was great as well! They even put a little latte art heart on it. There is outdoor seating & it was so nice sitting there with my pup. both of us are super happy with this place & i would like to come back again if I'm ever in the area again.

Great little local coffee and pastry shop. Short walk from the Inn at Rancho Sante Fe. Had a great spinach feta filled croissant and an americano with an extra shot. The croissant was perfect and the coffee was done just right. Got to meet some fun locals enjoying the brisk morning Perfect light breakfast on a busy travel week and in a nice little very San Diego neighborhood!

    The Frappe's are great.

A tiny coffee shop with some outside seating only, and inside it's crammed. They make great caramel frappe's that are not too sweet and yet smooth and milky. However, the straws they use are thick, boba-type straws which makes it hard to control the draw; And there is only one size of straws--too short for a large frappe--so you'll have to fish for it with your finger. Be aware that there is no wifi and no public bathroom, so staying there is pretty much not an option. Nevertheless, the frappe's make it worth the visit.

We tried a few, but our favorite was Paris(fruity black tea with vanilla and caramel flavors, and a hint of lemony Bergamot). The afternoon tea was beautifully presented, and everything tasted fresh and homemade. The scones were definitely our favorite. They were warm, soft, buttery, and some of the best I've ever had. The sandwiches and desserts were just as delicious. It's one of those places where you just want to slow down, relax, and enjoy good conversation over a great cup of tea. One of my friends who lives in the area had been here before and had suggested it for the outing. Located in an almost hidden little shopping center in the middle of a suburban neighborhood, it had gorgeous decor, especially all decked out for the holidays. We were seated at one of the outdoor patio tables, which was very pleasant on a beautiful warm day. We all had their special Christmas high tea, which came with a generous array of food that went above and beyond a normal tea service. There was a starter soup course (roasted winter vegetable soup, very delicious), then we got a massive tower with 5 different savory items, scones, and 6 different desserts. Needlessly to say, we were beyond stuffed by the end, even after opting to take most of the desserts to go. The tea selection was very nice as well--I just opted for the English Breakfast, in keeping with my preference for picking the most coffee-like tea. Our server did an amazing job, even though it seemed like she was the only one serving the entire packed place! My friends and I had a wonderful time, and I'd love to come back again.

After my friend shared this with me, I was determined to support this business because I couldn't believe people would do that to a business for simply thanking a young man for all that he did during his 31 years on Earth. Despite Invita being far from where I live, I've been blessed to visit their Rancho Santa Fe location on two occasions and both times, I was served delicious coffee and received outstanding customer service. I'm giving Invita 4.5 stars because on my second visit, I ordered a featured coffee, but decided to change it up because it wasn't too flavorful. There are two Invita Cafe locations in San Diego with their Rancho Santa Fe spot and their other location in Carlsbad. As I indicated above, my first visit was the Saturday after word got out that people were disparaging the business and it was jam packed with customers out the door. The Rancho Santa Fe cafe is one of several businesses in Cielo Village. This village can be reached utilizing Del Dios Highway, which is a scenic route surrounded by a lake, mountains, and foliage. There is plenty of parking at this small outdoor strip mall. Invita Cafe is across from Beyond Pilates and Q1 Real Estate. Nuevo is also located here and Invita is next to Goli Pizza Eatery. The coffee shop has brick on the outside and there are outdoor tables and chairs to enjoy your coffee and food. After being in the long line that first Saturday, I finally got to see the inside and the color scheme is black and white. There are accent pics, decorative lighting, and a corner where there's merchandise you can purchase. It's a small space with counter/stool seating. The employees behind the register were diligent handling the crowd seamlessly and they provided friendly customer service. The two times I visited Invita Cafe Rancho Santa Fe were on Saturday. The first time customers were lined out of their door and the second time, I visited at 7:30am, which was 30 minutes after they opened. Both visits, I ordered coffee, but besides coffee, Invita's menu consists of tea, wellness drinks, breakfast items, salad, flatbreads, toast, and sandwiches. When I return, I'll make sure to try their food, but on my two visits, I had to try their coffee since Invita is a coffee shop. During my first visit, I ordered a white mocha with two pumps of hazelnut. After my first sip, I could tell Invita uses quality coffee beans because the coffee was tasty, the hazelnut made it flavorful, it was rich, and it seriously was an enjoyable cup of Joe. During my second visit, I tried one of their featured coffees that was displayed on their counter, but after taking a few sips, I informed the young lady who made it that it wasn't flavorful. I asked her for a white mocha with two pumps of hazelnut, but this time, a young man remade it and it was as delicious as my drink when I first visited Invita. During each of my visits, the staff placed a "Thank You Charlie Kirk" sticker on my coffee cups and I really appreciated Invita's gratitude to the founder of Turning Point USA. Invita Cafe is definitely out of the way from where I live, but I'll make the sacrifice to support a business who recognizes the impact Charlie Kirk had on Americans and the youth of America. Besides the nice sentiment of appreciation for Charlie, I'll return to Invita because they serve really satisfying coffee.

Greenery everywhere, soft natural light, and such a peaceful energy. I ordered an espresso with a side glass of ice, and even *that* was an experience. The presentation was next-level: served on a beautiful wooden tray, and the tiny spoon had the cutest little leaf detail sprouting from it. It sounds small, but those thoughtful touches made it feel intentional and special: like they genuinely care about the ritual of coffee, not just the drink itself. I have some dietary needs, so I brought my own homemade creamer, and they didn't bat an eye. No awkwardness, no attitude: just kindness and flexibility, which I truly appreciated. The barista went above and beyond and actually brought our order out to our table, which felt so personal and hospitable. It's rare to see these days, and made the experience oh so special. My friend shared her muffin with me (true friendship behavior), and oh the raspberry goodness in baked form. Soft, not overly sweet, and scrupulous. The kind of muffin you think about later. Dot Cafe's perfect for that slow catch-up with a friend, a solo moment of calm, or a cozy little treat-yourself stop. It was a nice day, so we opted for one of the comfy sofas outside. There were tables and chairs, as well as lounge chairs, sofas, and low tables. For active pets, there's a wooden deck play area. For this visit, I ordered the Açaí bowl and a cappuccino. I loved the presentation of my açaí bowl and the assortment of fresh fruits (strawberries, blueberries, and bananas). It also had dried dates, honeycomb, hemp seeds, pistachios, coconut flakes, toasted oats, and cacao nibs. My pup loved the blueberries! The cappuccino was good, but was rather small. My friend ordered the Akuri Wrap, side of sourdough toast, and Desi Chai. She thought the wrap could've used a pinch of salt. The Desi chai was nicely flavored, but was a bit grainy. The sourdough was notably one of the best we've had, and we wondered where these were made. Overall, we enjoyed our visit and look forward to coming back. Service was friendly
