    Their motto is restoring the rhythm of your life, but it felt more like stalling the rhythm of my life . This started out as a 0 star review but it turned around at the end. Moral of the story, the parts manager, the girls at the front desk, whoever installed my side rear view and painted it are all great. The service writer, garbage. I won't name him (clue: it's one of the ninja turtles) but he was rude and indifferent the entire time. For context, a trash can clipped my passenger side rear view mirror and I needed a replacement a.s.a.p and I was paying out of pocket, not going through insurance. I went to the dealership got a quote which was insane then a friend mentioned he went to his local Caliber Collision to repair his car which is what lead me here. I called and spoke with one of the girls at the front desk and made an appointment for Thursday at 2:30 p.m. I arrived on time and the girls were probably out to lunch but there were service guys there just working on their computers for a few minutes before one of them came over to ask if I needed help. I let him know I had an appointment at 2:30 for my side rear view mirror, he dug around the file folders at the front desk and my folder was there. He then went back to his desk and asked some other guy, "Do you want to take this?" He asked whoever it was twice and that person must have said no because he came back to help me out. The entire time, this guy looked uninterested and like bothered that I even showed up. We did a quick walk through, he asked if I wanted to repair a rubber strip and a dent as well and I asked for a quote for that and just to repair the side mirror. He provided both and I went with the quote for just the side rear view repair. I asked how soon they could repair it, he went to check on parts and came back and said if I pay for it today they can get the part and repair it by Friday which was the next day. I was sold and put down half for the deposit. The next day I waited around for an update, it was 3 p.m. which was around the time the part should've came in and I decided to call. I spoke with one of the girls, she informed me the part had not come in yet and if it does come in it'll be towards the end of the day. I called back around 5 p.m. and finally spoke with the service guy and asked what was going on and he said he didn't have the part and he can't do anything about it. I asked what do we do next, he said he could wait around and see if it comes in at the end of the day and maybe they can knock it out. I was pretty pissed that I had to call and ask for an update on everything and his responses to me were in a rude tone and I had to be nice to him to get somewhere with what to do next. Surprisingly he called back at 6 and said nothing came in so we would try again on Monday but he was coming in later that day. I asked, do I have to wait for you to come in or can someone else call me if the part comes in before he does? He seemed bothered I even asked that question, but I don't understand why the rhythm of my life depends on him getting to work later than usual. Monday comes, no call from anyone. I was told last week the delivery times for parts are either around 9 a.m. , 3 p.m. or end of the day. I called at 3 p.m. since no one called me and one of the girls answers, she's very polite, professional and she's able to see the part is in, but they can't install it until Wednesday and the service writer that gave me the quote is out sick. I end up talking to Mike the parts manager, who gave me a better picture of what was going on and apologized about the delay but they're short staffed. He did say if my service writer doesn't come in the next day (Tuesday) he would call and let me know and provide an update. I fully understood it's not his fault and said ok to doing the install first thing Wednesday morning. This morning I got a call from Mike that my service writer didn't come into work, but he would take care of my car! I thanked him excitedly, like I won the lotto or something, and told him I'd be there in 10 minutes. I arrived, the girls greeted me and said Mike would be out to see me. Mike came out a few minutes later, shook my hand, we went out to my car, he asked for permission to open my passenger door, I said, of course and he went into detail on what how they would replace the side rear view and gave me an approximate time of 30 minutes to complete. I was grateful he was doing this and let him know I'd be across the street at 7 Leaves cafe working and I'd be in a meeting for 30 minutes so if I missed his call that's why, but I'm just across the way. He said no worries, he would park my car in a parking spot facing the cafe so I'd know it's ready to go AND THEN he gave me a free coffee voucher to 7 Leaves!! My car was ready in 30 minutes, it looked great, mirror worked like the OEM one did and I was on my way!

    Five star work and five star customer service. Our car was hit by another driver. The driver front side was decimated. We really thought it would be totaled considering the suspension and frame were affected. We looked at caliber and liked the recent ratings. They did an amazing job. I really was skeptical that they were able to do it, but they restored our car and it drives just like new. We could not find one flaw. The person we worked with was Juan. He updated us twice a week. He answered all of our questions and was very easy to work with. He was very transparent. And everything he said was true. He did not mislead us. Going through an accident is traumatic, and they did a great job of walking us through this and giving our car back to us good as new.

    Been going to Gavin at Dents No More Auto Body Repair for years now and I wouldn't trust anyone…read moreelse. I've referred over 20 friends to him and every single one has been beyond happy. Super cool guy, easy to work with, and his work speaks for itself. Honestly does better work than the big body shops and at way better pricing. Most my cars are Matte and he knows how to match exactly! I've taken all my high-end luxury cars to him and he always delivers flawless results. I'm extremely picky with my cars and I would NOT go anywhere else. Trust me look no further.

    I have been coming here for few times over the last few years, but I will not come back anymore…read moreafter my recent visit. Gavin gave me two options initially, and I chose the second option replacing front right light with a used light and repairing the fender. Long story short, repairing the fender (making a bracket and welding) was done in same day, but due to ordering the wrong light twice and/or his incompetence dealing with tesla light programming, it took 1 week and 2 days to get my car back with me getting and delivering him the used light with matching part number myself. He kept blaming on the wrong used light that he ordered and kept being rude, whining to me about his time and money lost working on my car, telling me he is doing me a favor when it was his incompetence in ordering the right part or programming tesla light the whole time. I got sick and tired of hearing this BS (felt like he was a customer complaining) so much that I decided to not come back anymore and will go to a different PDR shop in the future. At one point, he requested I need to make an appointment at tesla so he can bring his car there. Second used light he ordered is "DOT 1077372-00-K", and my original light is "DOT 1077372-00-L". According to tesla and from my research, both lights are compatible, but he could not figure it out and at the end, he told me he needs exactly the same part which according to his words, he took a whole lot of time calling and searching for it. It took me 10 min to find whole bunch of them used and took me 30 min to locate the one that I can pick up locally (1hr 30min away) that worked after 5 min after I brought it to him. I wish he just told me the part number in the beginning, and I ordered it myself as if I did it, it'd be done in one day without all of his whining. His final bill was about $240 higher than the estimate as he added tech bill for $240 (he called tesla tech at one point that didn't go anywhere). After I came home, I also noticed one bolt with a washer below my wipers that he is not replying to me if it's from my car and noticed the upper tub under the hood was not clicked in properly. I was very frustrated, but I still was not going to leave a bad review for him considering my past experience, but as soon as I noticed he is ignoring my texts about the bolt, that was it. I won't go back even regarding this bolt that I have no idea where it came from. He never apologized to me even once during this whole time. His attitude was the opposite. Not sure what changed him.

They tried…read moreto repair our 2007 truck that had over 200,000 miles and it was so obvious that it should have been totaled. They pull your car apart, one part at a time and give a cheap estimate to the insurance company and then they keep charging more as they work on the car and it's too late for the insurance company to back out of it and total the car, a true rip off. We took the truck in thinking these guys are good based on their reviews, they told us that the car was going to be totaled due to its condition and how severe the accident was. A week later they told us that the insurance company adjuster has given them the green light to repair the car and that it won't be totaled but they said they were going to use all new and original parts. We talked to the insurance adjuster and she mentioned that the body shop owner told them that we asked for the car to be repaired at any cost and that we agreed that they use used parts from a junk yard which was a big lie, I specifically asked him if it would even be worth fixing it and he claimed that it was up to the adjuster. We finally realized what kind of scam they are playing and therefore we decided to take the car to a legit body shop. Once I went to remove my truck they charged me $2,000 in storage fees for the 10 days that they had the car and a $200 deductible for returning the parts that they "supposedly ordered". If they would have ordered original parts from the dealer there wouldn't have been a restocking fee. They would not let me take my car out until I paid the fee. I took my car to another mechanic shop and right away they pulled everything apart and estimated almost 4 times the price that was quoted by these thief's and the car is now totaled. Due to excessive damage and the fact that the repairs would actually cost almost double what the car is worth. I'm just glad that I didn't keep my car there for them to charge the insurance the same amount through time and have a salvaged title car that was put together by cheap parts from a junk yard.

Which brings me to the present review: Armando's. This man is the modern equivalent to Picasso. Seriously, he can fix anything for a reasonable price. My father worked at the courthouse nearby, and has converted all to take their cars here. Judges, bailiffs, some defendants. All. Everyone was pleased. Even the criminals felt like they got a square deal (I'm joking about the criminal thing). But lawyers judges, alike all see him. His shop looks like the rest of this section of town: dingy, Tijuana yellow on EVERYTHING and EVERYONE, with a little taqueria and shitty "liquor store." If you blink, or speed - you'll miss it. But chances are you have made a significant life choice/change to get to this point, you're probably not driving. GO TO HIM. Don't be fooled by the star ratings and look at the most recent reviews for this body shop. I drive a Mercedes G63 AMG. I have listed the series of events that happened from 7/20/23, when I dropped off my car, to current. In total, it took almost 5 months to get my car back from this body shop. The work they do is terrible, messy and poor quality. They will skip as many corners as possible. If you care at all about your car, take it somewhere else. I am still dealing with the aftermath of their poor worksmanship almost a year later. 7/15/23 Car accident - I was hit from behind on the freeway. Damage: corner, tail lights, bumper, wheel well area. 7/20/23 I dropped off my car at Fix Auto in Anaheim. They call me and let me know that Fix Auto in Santa Ana will be doing the paint job because the manager, Gilbert has years of experience with Mercedes. For about two weeks, I received auto text messages saying that my car is being worked on and then the messages stop. I call consistently to ask for updates to which they say someone will call me back or that they are still working on it. 9/22/23 They let me know my car is ready & I pick it up. The next day I notice: overspray, sloppy paint job. New scratches and chips on the doors. The trunk door won't close. They did not screw the bolt in. The hinge scratched and dented the trim. Door seal is broken. 10/3/23 Fix auto again - Dropped off car again 10/21/23 They let me know my car is ready. I drive there and the issues aren't resolved so I leave it there. 11/6/23 - They let me know my car is ready and I go to pick it up. There was overspray on the rear drivers side door. The trim is messed. They added adhesive onto the existing adhesive and the trim stick outs. 11/30/23 - Went to Santa Ana to pick up my car. My car is matte but on drivers door there is now a shiny area right below the window about the size of a grapefruit. The workers try to wipe it off. It doesn't come off. They need to repaint. 12/7/23 I finally pick up my car I notice that the trunk door isn't as easy to close. A month later, I take it into Mercedes and they say it was not put on correctly and that they can adjust it for me but the problem may come back. $300 7/10/24 I take my car to Mercedes because rear drivers side door isn't opening from the outside. 7/12/24 They say that an after market screw was incorrectly installed which voids the warranty. $900 It has almost been a year since the accident and I am still dealing with the shody work that Fit Auto did on my vehicle. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. They have yet to reach out to offer compensation or apologies for the massive amount of inconveniences they have caused. I live about an hour away (each way, with traffic) and having to go there and point out what is very visibly wrong with the car each time was ridiculous.

    This photo was what I submitted when requesting a mobile repair quote, and the damage is centered…read moreon the reflector itself, along with dents above and below it. The repair quote I received did not specifically exclude the reflector repair, and it included a charge for "additional materials." Because of that, I reasonably believed the visible reflector damage was included as part of the repair. When I called the office before making the appointment, they didn't tell me that the reflector itself will not be fixed. When the technician arrived, he informed me that they could only repair the dents above and below the reflector, and that the damaged reflector itself was not included. When I called Bumper Buddies for clarification, I was told that because I, as the customer, did not specifically request reflector repair, it was not included in the quote even though the dents directly above and below the reflector were included. As a customer, I relied on professionals' expertise to evaluate the photos and provide an accurate estimate. If a major visible part of the damage was not included, that should have been communicated with the customer or clearly stated in the quote rather than assumed to be excluded. It's not unreasonable for customer to expect the communication of "hey, I see your reflector was also damaged, but we cannot fix the reflector itself, but we can fix the dent above and below it". The repair quote may have matched their internal interpretation of the estimate, but it did not match a customer's reasonable expectation based on the photos submitted. During my follow-up call with Nick, he repeatedly stated that it's a "communication error" and the quote did not include reflector replacement because I had not specifically requested it. That explanation raised even more concerns for me. As a customer, I relied on their expertise to identify and quote the visible damage shown in the photos. I should not be expected to name every individual damaged part or anticipate every technical detail in order to receive an accurate quote. If I had the professional knowledge to identify every repair item myself, I likely would not have needed their service in the first place. That is exactly why I turned to them for an estimate. Based on this experience, I would not feel confident on any future estimates from them unless every single item is spelled out in writing beforehand.

I only had this vehicle so to be without it I let them know was kind of an issue so I was hoping for a quick turn on process. After my vehicle sat with them for nearly 4 days I found out that they had done nothing except assessed the damage. I also had to request updates from them or I didn't hear anything. They submitted multiple claims to my insurance told me they couldn't work on my car until they were approved. The next week work on my car started it needed a fender replaced, and the collision center received three ones that were unusable before getting the fourth one. At this point, my truck was still not even near completion nearly 2 weeks after dropping it off at an appointment that they provided me with.. nearly 3 weeks after dropping my truck off with them. I was told it's ready to pick up and I had a friend collected due to my work hours and their business hours. After having my truck home for a day, I realize something was wrong. One of the main issues was the passenger side front door and now it sounded like it came off of a tin can sounded completely different than the other three doors on the vehicle. I sent them videos, they claimed that they didn't know the sound of my door because they didn't drive it all the time and it was an issue of them not putting enough material in the door to make it match the sound of any other door on the vehicle. Luckily I was able to have them come to my work pick up the vehicle fix it and bring it back to me.. Maybe my expectations are high , but nothing about this experience was what I expected. The communication was very bad. I wasn't told anything until I asked about it, the timeframe for work to be completed was horribly slow granted some of that may have been out of their control, and then the best part they returned my vehicle to me and it wasn't completed properly after nearly three weeks on being without my only vehicle. Sadly, I would not recommend this company to anybody who does not have the patience or time to let them go as slow as they do or let them take away. What might be your only vehicle for weeks on end depending on the work needed .
