I just brought a vehicle to this location and Miguel Carrillo was the advisor assisting me. I showed him what needed to be fixed, but one area the insurance did not include. He told me he would need to get approval and I told him that was fine. Then he began interrogating me about that area like I was a criminal. I told him to do whatever he needed to do in order to get approval. He then started to back peddle about his interrogation when I became upset, telling me that he is on my side. My side? Nothing illegal is going on here buddy. I finally walked away. What terrible customer service. This guy has an attitude problem. I would not recommend this place. Go to one of the other places with a higher customer service rating. read more

It looks better than before the bumper was damaged in a hit-and-run. I had an event I wanted to bring my car to and inquired if it was possible to have my car completed earlier than expected, and miraculously they were able to accommodate my request. A few weeks ago my car's front passenger bumper and parts were destroyed, so I brought it to this Caliber. Honestly, I had a really bad experience. The staff was rude, the work looked rushed and sloppy. It felt like they just wanted to get as many cars in and out as possible instead of actually doing the job right. The advisor, Leo, was also really unhelpful. I was really unhappy with the way my car was given back to me, I tried to express my concerns to him and they were disregarded or followed by snarky responses. This whole situation was frustrating and unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone who cares about their car or wants proper communication and quality work. read more

Their motto is restoring the rhythm of your life, but it felt more like stalling the rhythm of my life . This started out as a 0 star review but it turned around at the end. Moral of the story, the parts manager, the girls at the front desk, whoever installed my side rear view and painted it are all great. The service writer, garbage. I won't name him (clue: it's one of the ninja turtles) but he was rude and indifferent the entire time. For context, a trash can clipped my passenger side rear view mirror and I needed a replacement a.s.a.p and I was paying out of pocket, not going through insurance. I went to the dealership got a quote which was insane then a friend mentioned he went to his local Caliber Collision to repair his car which is what lead me here. I called and spoke with one of the girls at the front desk and made an appointment for Thursday at 2:30 p.m. I arrived on time and the girls were probably out to lunch but there were service guys there just working on their computers for a few minutes before one of them came over to ask if I needed help. I let him know I had an appointment at 2:30 for my side rear view mirror, he dug around the file folders at the front desk and my folder was there. He then went back to his desk and asked some other guy, "Do you want to take this?" He asked whoever it was twice and that person must have said no because he came back to help me out. The entire time, this guy looked uninterested and like bothered that I even showed up. We did a quick walk through, he asked if I wanted to repair a rubber strip and a dent as well and I asked for a quote for that and just to repair the side mirror. He provided both and I went with the quote for just the side rear view repair. I asked how soon they could repair it, he went to check on parts and came back and said if I pay for it today they can get the part and repair it by Friday which was the next day. I was sold and put down half for the deposit. The next day I waited around for an update, it was 3 p.m. which was around the time the part should've came in and I decided to call. I spoke with one of the girls, she informed me the part had not come in yet and if it does come in it'll be towards the end of the day. I called back around 5 p.m. and finally spoke with the service guy and asked what was going on and he said he didn't have the part and he can't do anything about it. I asked what do we do next, he said he could wait around and see if it comes in at the end of the day and maybe they can knock it out. I was pretty pissed that I had to call and ask for an update on everything and his responses to me were in a rude tone and I had to be nice to him to get somewhere with what to do next. Surprisingly he called back at 6 and said nothing came in so we would try again on Monday but he was coming in later that day. I asked, do I have to wait for you to come in or can someone else call me if the part comes in before he does? He seemed bothered I even asked that question, but I don't understand why the rhythm of my life depends on him getting to work later than usual. Monday comes, no call from anyone. I was told last week the delivery times for parts are either around 9 a.m. , 3 p.m. or end of the day. I called at 3 p.m. since no one called me and one of the girls answers, she's very polite, professional and she's able to see the part is in, but they can't install it until Wednesday and the service writer that gave me the quote is out sick. I end up talking to Mike the parts manager, who gave me a better picture of what was going on and apologized about the delay but they're short staffed. He did say if my service writer doesn't come in the next day (Tuesday) he would call and let me know and provide an update. I fully understood it's not his fault and said ok to doing the install first thing Wednesday morning. This morning I got a call from Mike that my service writer didn't come into work, but he would take care of my car! I thanked him excitedly, like I won the lotto or something, and told him I'd be there in 10 minutes. I arrived, the girls greeted me and said Mike would be out to see me. Mike came out a few minutes later, shook my hand, we went out to my car, he asked for permission to open my passenger door, I said, of course and he went into detail on what how they would replace the side rear view and gave me an approximate time of 30 minutes to complete. I was grateful he was doing this and let him know I'd be across the street at 7 Leaves cafe working and I'd be in a meeting for 30 minutes so if I missed his call that's why, but I'm just across the way. He said no worries, he would park my car in a parking spot facing the cafe so I'd know it's ready to go AND THEN he gave me a free coffee voucher to 7 Leaves!! My car was ready in 30 minutes, it looked great, mirror worked like the OEM one did and I was on my way! read more

I'm not usually one to write reviews about a business, but after my horrendous experience with this location, and the current state of my car, I feel this review is entirely justified. Several weeks ago, I brought my car in after an accident which left the front of my car quite damaged. My insurance had given me a few options for repair shops, and I chose this place based on many positive reviews praising their timely service. I thought it would be perfect since I was only going to be home in Southern California for about a week. Upon my first visit, the employee assessed the damage and I explained my situation, emphasizing that I would only be home for a certain period and needed my car back promptly to return to school. He seemed considerate and assured me they would try their best to get it done quickly. This turned out to be the only positive interaction I had with them. After a day or two, they called to say they had assessed the damages and gave us a repair date a bit over a week out, which was slightly inconvenient but manageable. They called frequently during the first week with updates, but this seemed to be only because my dad was very strict and persistent about getting updates. As the promised date approached, it became evident that things were not going as planned. I had to visit the shop to retrieve a house key from my car and saw that almost nothing had been done. The front of my car was still in pieces; only the paint had been touched. It looked essentially the same as when I had dropped it off. When my dad called to get another update, they said the car would take a few more days. Despite our understanding of their busy schedule, it was frustrating. Eventually, my dad called again to confirm the new date, and shockingly, they accused him of lying, saying they never promised that date. My dad had my mom as a witness to the conversation, so this blatant dishonesty was infuriating. My car was not ready by the new date either. My dad kept calling for updates, and each time there was a new excuse: waiting for parts, mechanics unavailable, etc. It seemed like they only started working on my car when my dad nagged them persistently. It dragged on for over two weeks, and then they claimed the alternator was malfunctioning, which was absurd since my car had driven perfectly fine for six hours from San Francisco to Southern California after the accident. During that drive, I had to turn the car on and off several times for pit stops, and it worked without any issues. This suspicious claim came three weeks into the ordeal. My dad was so fed up he considered taking legal action due to the constant discrepancies and delays. Miraculously, after this, the car was suddenly "fixed" within a couple of days. However, when we finally got the car back, it was clear the job was subpar. All the warning lights started flickering on, and the car clearly had not been properly fixed. We had to take it to a Honda dealership to get it fixed correctly. This review is to state that despite our patience and understanding, this location was consistently rude, disrespectful, and dishonest. Their actions were highly suspicious, and their service was abysmal. I trusted the positive reviews, expecting timely and efficient work, but that couldn't be further from the truth. I hope others read this review and avoid this location if they want their car repaired properly and to be treated with respect. My experience was horrendous, and I would never bring any vehicle back to this place. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere. read more

Five star work and five star customer service. Our car was hit by another driver. The driver front side was decimated. We really thought it would be totaled considering the suspension and frame were affected. We looked at caliber and liked the recent ratings. They did an amazing job. I really was skeptical that they were able to do it, but they restored our car and it drives just like new. We could not find one flaw. The person we worked with was Juan. He updated us twice a week. He answered all of our questions and was very easy to work with. He was very transparent. And everything he said was true. He did not mislead us. I brought the car over right away and he took a look and wrote up and estimate on the spot. He said he would order the part and let me know when it came in so I didn't have to leave the car. He called the very next day to say the part was in, and he would take care of me whenever I brought the car back. The work was done very quickly, and in less than 30 minutes after I had arrived, I was driving home with the repair done. The price seemed very reasonable compared to other estimates I had received so I decided to go with them. All I can say is that I made the right decision. Took my wife's new car in to fix scratches on the roof by the windshield. They did not want to fix the area correctly because it required removing the windshield!!!. Instead they put a thick trim around the windshield and called the day. That was not acceptable. I returned it and asked to fix the damaged area properly. They removed the windshield and repaired the area. It took them longer than they had estimated to complete the job. Fast forward to a few months ago, I noticed the paint on the hood of the car peeling and stain-like spots had developed in the paint. Remember, this is my wife's car and she hardly drives it. I took it to a shop and was told the hood had been repainted. They showed me where the damage had occurred and how the area had been accessed from under the hood. The reason the paint was chipping was because the area had not been primed. Now, I know why it took longer to return the car the second time. I called the shop and they told me they had no knowledge of such thing and it must have been someone else. Considering the car has never been in a body shop except at Caliber Collision and it had been purchased new and it had only 1000 miles on it when they worked on it, there is no doubt they damaged the hood and did not tell us. Stay away from this place because, in addition to lack of integrity and honesty, they cut corners and the quality of their workmanship is mediocre at best. read more
