I think I've officially found my new go-to spot! The vibe here is so welcoming--super friendly staff, quick service, and such a peaceful, beautiful atmosphere that makes you actually want to stay and relax. I'm already excited to come back and explore more of the menu, but for now... I'm still thinking about those scrambled eggs with feta (so good!) [thanks for accommodating my request] and that rose latte? Absolutely amazing. Not even going to pretend--I'm definitely planning my next visit already.

After coming back to Calidum Cafe , it is unfortunate to say but my experience was not the same. First off , service was way different and the guy behind the register did not seem welcoming. I tried their Turkey Sandwich and was not impressed. Really basic sandwich and overpriced at $14. I previously gave this spot 4 stars but I would give it 3 stars now. People look for consistency when going to places and unfortunately it did not match the first time I went.

I went here to eat and study with a friend and i recommend this spot to study at, really clean and friendly workers. The food was great and I would like to mention I think it is the owner? But she was at the front taking orders very nice woman with a big smile and welcoming.

Pesto chicken sandwich and natural juice

Amazing spot. The chicken pesto sandwich is honestly one of the best I've had -- fresh, flavorful, and made right. You can taste the quality in every bite. Their natural juices are also excellent, fresh and refreshing. Great food, great quality, and definitely a place I'd come back to. Highly recommend. And if you ever been to Armenia/Yerevan, this place definitely makes you feels like you're there!

Visited 10/6/25 & 10/9/25 Their pastries are so good, especially the custard-fruit one, which became my instant favorite. During both of my visits, I came in the early evening, and the staff let me know that their kitchen had already closed for the day. Due to that, they were only able to offer the pastries displayed at the counter and their drink menu. The drinks were a bit on the pricier side, and compared to everything else, I found the beverages a little underwhelming and not as memorable. (I got the latte rose and matcha latte.) What really stood out to me was the atmosphere. It has a warm, cozy vibe with plenty of seating and little touches (ex: flower decorations) that make it feel inviting. The employees were incredibly sweet both times I came in. You order up front, and they always bring your items out with a smile. The bathrooms were also clean and well-maintained, which I always appreciate.

Absolutely in love and OBSESSED with the rose latte from Calidum. It is one of the best things I've ever had the pleasure of sipping on. I think about it at random times of the day and it takes all my willpower not to consistently break my meal/diet plan by having this latte every single day. As far as the food goes, I've only ever tried their beef luleh plate (delicious!). It was perfectly priced and also quite a generous portion. Calidum is a great, clean place to grab a bite with friends. It's not loud, great for conversations. Service has always been friendly. But yes... that rose latte.

It's a cute restaurant cafe, that's for sure. Bright, colorful, and very inviting, Calidum Cafe evokes the 50s yesteryears vibes and makes it a very cozy place to spend your time there. Sadly, the food and drink I had was just ok. The matcha latte was not bad, but could tasted more distinct. It just tasted a bit artificial, vaguely like Matcha, but not by much. I was there for the much-touted Chef's Favorite Cheeseburger, however, and just like the drink, it was largely forgettable. It's not a bad burger, it's competent, but not knock-your-socks off burger, and I think it started with the burger patty that seemed under-seasoned. The fries were not bad, but it's hard to mess up fries, too. All in all, I may give the cafe another go since there are some intriguing menu items, though. Hopefully I'll have better luck 2nd time around.

Truly enjoyed this cozy café corner. The menu offers a wide variety of drinks and food, and the atmosphere is pleasant, clean, and lively yet welcoming. Service was quick and attentive. The interior is beautifully designed with plenty of seating options both indoors and outdoors, making it an ideal spot to grab your favorite drink and unwind. Parking is convenient with a few spots available in front; if those are full, a nearby parking structure is just a short walk away. The tea blend was soothing, and the pastry was fresh and perfectly made.

In the heart of Burbank, I found a charming café with beautiful French music playing in the background. I was pleasantly surprised -- such a warm and cozy place. We had an amazing meal at the café, including a very delicious drink, called Dubai chocolate coffee. And I have to say the French omelette that I had was the best I've ever had. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Was craving a late-night latte and found Calidum on Yelp -- so glad I did! It's tucked in the corner with its own small parking lot, which made parking super easy. Inside is adorable, decorated with flowers like a little indoor garden. Cozy, inviting, and the pastry display totally pulls you in. Service was great -- the man behind the counter was incredibly friendly and welcoming. My latte was delicious, and I'm already planning to come back to try their pastries next time. So happy to have discovered a new spot in the area!

Would not recommend getting food here. Very overpriced for mediocre food and unkind service. Visited Calidum Cafe a few times because it's close to my work and was able to try a few things on the menu. Unfortunately all were very mid quality- they also messed up an order when I asked for no tomato and still received them; minor thing but when you're paying 17$ for a caesar wrap, you expect better. All three times I visited, there were maybe 2-3 patrons in the establishment and the food consistently took 20+ minutes to come out. The employees were always cold as well which really added to a rather negative experience. I was also able to try a latte, which was okay- but cost almost 10$. At these prices you just have to expect better. Would recommend going somewhere else. read more

Let me start with the superb service in Calidum, Amazing. Worth 7 Stars. I come here quite often and I have been eyeing out their breakfast menu so this morning I went for it, and loved it. Served fast, and hot like I like it. The place itself is classy. Very well put together with intentionality. And then the owners wife came to our table with a desert that I didn't even have time to take a picture of because it was so good and it was gone in seconds, Ha! Plenty of room to bring a sizable group as well. I highly recommend Calidum in Burbank! read more

I had an absolutely delightful experience at Calidu Cafe in Downtown Burbank. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The cafe has a comfortable, cozy vibe that's perfect whether you're grabbing a quick coffee, hanging out with friends, or settling in to get some work done. The coffee here is exceptional -- expertly brewed and rich in flavor -- and there's a wide variety of handcrafted drinks to choose from, including refreshing cold brews and delicious specialty lattes. I also tried several menu items, and I was impressed by the fresh ingredients and tasty flavors. Very cute cafe. The inside is nice and colorful. They have a lot of inside and outside seating. They also have parking in the front, on the back, and if all of those are packed, you can park at the massive parking structure right next to them The service was great. Worker at the register is very knowledgeable about the menu and gave great recommendations. I ended up getting the route 66 with orange juice. I honestly wasn't expecting anything crazy, just a regular cafe but I was pleasantly surprised. The burger was perfectly seasoned and juicy. The sauce, mushrooms and bell peppers gave it that extra notch to make it one of the best burgers iv had in a while. The orange juice was freshly squeezed too and not store bought. This cafe seems to be new with only 20 reviews but if all their food tastes as good as what I got, I can imagine them being busy with lines outside the door waiting for seating. What a wonderful hidden gem. The husband love his latte so much he had to have another one. Talked about it most of the day. I did the same as my dirty chai was the best in a long time. Food was delicious. Atmosphere was bright and inviting. Staff was patient and wonderful to chat with. Will definitely be back when we are in town again. read more

My friend wanted to try this place because it opened recently and seems to be getting popular. I tried the Fettucine Alfredo with Shrimp protein and the Crispy Fries. Service and food was good. There's lots of options on the menu. The shrimp was juicy and the pasta was flavorful, while the fries were crispy and seasoned well without being burnt or too salty. There's also free regular water and lemon water. The staff were nice - they accommodated another customer's allergies and gave us the wifi password so we could work. It's a great spot to study and work since there's plenty of seats inside, big windows with nice views of the street, and even an outdoor patio. It's also located conveniently near the Burbank Town Center and surrounding stores. Definitely worth checking out! read more

Went here for some tea and food. The interior is nice and cozy. A lot of seating is available. The drinks and food are mediocre and overpriced. The burger patty and fries tasted frozen. The lady working the cashier was not very welcoming. She was curt and unfriendly. There is parking in the back, which is a positive. AMBIANCE: cute, bright color. has a nice private back room. free parking in their lot. FOOD: hit or miss. had the breakfast sandwich and it was pretty good. bought the vanilla bean scone, and it was the driest scone i've ever had. (i tried to break off a piece, and it burst into crumbs.) the pastries look beautiful, but the scone did NOT taste good and did not have a pleasant texture. NOT GOOD. ordered a pistachio latte, and the cup felt extremely light. i don't think the cup was even close to full, and the taste was less than mediocre. not enjoyable. PRICES: MISLEADING. the prices are posted, but at the register, there is a note about cash and card prices being different. i found out that the prices are higher than what they were posted as if you pay with card. super misleading. read more

Food was so fresh and flavorful! They really got everything right. Perfectly over easy eggs, juicy beautiful grilled chicken and super tender steak. Their fresh press juice was the real deal and so was their Moroccan tea. All the employees were also super kind, knowledgeable and polite. So nice to relax on their little patio too! If you see me going to the same place back to back the same week within 48h that means that the place left a good taste in my mouth...literally! The servers, chef and staff are super friendly and although the place is new, they are knowledgeable on the menu items. The ambiance is very bright thanks to all the big windows. The decoration and the colors are very inviting. Definitely a place I'd like to visit again and again. I totally recommend this cafe! read more

Went for breakfast, long wait for our food to come. To top it off one person's food came 10 minutes after we were eating our food! And it was just an order of pancakes. The omelette was over cooked and dried out. It's trying to be a cafeteria, but there is only 1 cook so it is very slow getting your food. It looks clean and pleasant decor, unfortunately the food does not measure up for the price. Maybe the cappuccinos are good? read more

The first issue came when my matcha was made hot instead of iced and had to be remade. Even after the remake, it tasted like straight matcha powder and wasn't well mixed. The banana bread was served cold and wasn't warmed up, which was disappointing. What stood out most, though, was the cleanliness. As I walked into the shop around 7:30 a.m., the outdoor trash area was already overflowing. Inside, there was a trash can right next to the pickup counter that smelled bad and had visible stains all over it. For being so early in the morning, I was surprised that the trash hadn't been emptied or the area cleaned before opening. The salted cold brew cloud was decent, but overall the drinks, food, and cleanliness left a lot to be desired. Hoping this was just an off morning, but based on this visit, I wouldn't rush back.

I had passed by this restaurant before but had never been curious enough to actually stop in. This time their drink menu advertised outside caught my attention so I figured "hey, why not?" From the moment I walked in i was trying to figure out whether I liked the atmosphere or not. The music was excellent, but the décor took me a second to process. It felt like an 80s lounge crashed into a neon Día de los Muertos inspired art gallery. It's most definitely not a quiet, cozy restaurant. It has more of a loud, colorful, party style personality. I was seated promptly by a kind hostess but I wasn't attended to by a waiter for nearly 10 minutes. Once my waiter did come by he was kind, quick, and professional. Now, I'm going to be honest.. I'm pretty picky when it comes to Mexican restaurant food, so I didn't have the highest expectations. I ordered the potato taquitos, a Jarrito Loco made with watermelon purée, vodka instead of tequila, and chamoy on the rim, plus chiles toreados and one carne asada taco. Laugh all you want, but I was half expecting the food to come out looking like a cafeteria lady had splattered it onto a plate... I was genuinely impressed by the presentation instead. The potato "taquitos" were bigger than I expected so don't let the "itos" fool you. They were crispy, flavorful, filling, and honestly so delicious. Those get a 5/5 from me. My drink was also incredible. It was refreshing, especially with how hot the day was, and had just the right amount of alcohol. The presentation was so cute I almost felt bad ruining it. Easily one of the best drinks I've had in the Burbank area -- 5/5. The carne asada taco wasn't as impressive as the potato taquitos, so I'd give that a 3/5. The side of lemon-pepper fries were hand cut and crispy, though the citrusy tang wasn't my thing. A tad less successful was my Pastrami Sandwich. The meat, listed as house-made, had good flavor but was tough. The kale slaw with it also had good flavor, and the slight bitterness was a nice foil for the rich pastrami. Onion rings were excellent, and (regardless of the lemon-pepper) the better bet as a side. All in all, this is a great, comfy place with a good menu and a really welcoming staff. I'd go back in a heartbeat to try the wings and pizza, both of which looked excellent when delivered to neighboring tables.

Absolutely terrible experience. I ordered a basic iced matcha latte with oat milk and was charged nearly $10, which is beyond unreasonable. I believe the male owner was the one who rang it up, and there was zero transparency or justification for the ridiculous pricing. The whole cafe has a strange vibe too -- the menu is all over the place with random food items thrown together and absolutely nothing that feels unique, specialty, or worth the premium prices they charge. Their business practices honestly feel garbage-level and misleading. Charging customers outrageous prices for average drinks while offering no real quality or specialty experience is embarrassing. I hope overcharging me helped your pathetic business, because at this rate it'll probably close soon just like the last cafe that was there. I'll never step foot in this place again. read more

I had an absolutely wonderful lunch! Everything was perfect-from the warm and welcoming service to the deliciously prepared food. The flavors were outstanding, and every dish was presented beautifully. The Brussels sprouts were crispy, flavorful, and perfectly balanced with blue cheese, nuts, and a balsamic glaze. Terrible service! I ordered my food, sat down, and they never brought utensils. My drinks took forever, and even after asking for an extra cup, I had to go inside and get it myself. My food took extremely long to come out. At any restaurant, drinks, utensils, plates, and napkins should come first before the food. On top of that, they charged me 4% for using a card without telling me. Never coming back. read more
