I mean this place has a variety of items but I was craving pasta. I asked the waitress what she recommend as far as pasta. Without a blink she suggested the cajan pasta. Man was it good. My first time here, and I enjoyed it so much! I ordered the Creamy Chicken Alfredo, and it sure was creamy and very delicious. The bread was also amazing. The gentleman who took our order was kind and welcoming. As a local, I'm thrilled to discover that Madera has a place with amazing pasta that isn't from a chain restaurant. The pricing is fair, and I cannot wait to come back and enjoy more items on the menu. I arrived early (10:30AM), and therefore, there was plenty of street parking in front of the building and on the side. I wish the interior was more decorative as this would make a great birthday dinner spot without having to drive to Fresno. But unfortunately, it's not a place that gives you the dressing up vibe. Saw the great reviews on Yelp, not a lot to choose from in Madera. Took a friend yesterday and had to try the Cajun pasta because of all of the reviews. It was delicious, well seasoned rich and creamy! It has Chicken, shrimp and sausage in it, which was a nice surprise!! My friend had the nachos supreme, with several changes, and they got it exactly right. They were yummy too. I brought half of the leftovers home to my husband and he thought it was delicious too. My son had a few bites and thought the same. Nice little gem in Madera! Next time I'm going to try the BLT! Very friendly waitress! We got there around 1:00 and there was three or four tables, we were well taken care of. When she noticed I didn't finish all of my pasta she was very concerned, asking if it was too spicy and they could remake it for me, which I thought was sweet. read more

Wow! Love the food. My wife and kids were a little skeptical at first but were very surprised. I fell in love with the shrimp fettuccini alfredo. It is so delicious. Everything looks and tastes as if made by scratch. Their salad is fresh and crispy. As you can see I don't put out too many reviews but sometimes the good ones are the ones that should be heard. The chef is very detailed. Looks as if they should be working at an upscale area. You can't beat the price for the type of food they got here. I have been to this restaurant 3 times now within a month's time. I can't believe I didn't come sooner as I pass this restaurant daily on my way home. Ok so what have I tried, I have had the Cajun penne for dinner and I get why it's a top seller (delicious) well seasoned and beautiful presentation. Now the other two times I've been in for lunch and both times Ive had the chicken taco salad bowl, first time with a bowl second without it. Chicken is not dry and again well seasoned, plenty of Avacado ( they didn't skimp) my husband has had the fish and chips which he loved, and the A la Diabla pasta (warning) it's hot lol! Only suggestion I would have is although the server at lunch is super sweet and she tries her best to be as fast as possible, you need 2 wait staff. Lunch is a time that people are on limited time and the lady was serving, cleaning, answering phones and gave us our check when we received our food. We did sit for a bit before drink orders were taken. I want to specify it has nothing to do with the fantastic food the chefs in the back are cooking. You can tell they have passion for food and take pride in what they serve. No doubt this is one of our new spots. read more

This year they catered our Christmas luncheon for about 12 employees at Cherokee Freight Lines Madera. Not fancy, but EXCELLENT food! I heard about this place from a customer who frequents California Grill weekly. I ordered the ribeye with a side salad and my boyfriend had the shrimp and chips. My steak and veggies were cooked perfectly. The fried shrimp was plentiful and the fries were homemade! My only disappointment was the mashed potatoes and gravy. I was happy to learn from our waitress that I could order a double salad instead, a double plus for me since they have BOMB in house blue cheese dressing!
