This place just lost my business. I've been a regular for a while but they really struggle to run their drive through. I sat for over 10 minutes at the drive through after they told me to wait to take my order. They don't take your order until they finish handing off food to the person ahead of you. Incredibly inefficient way to run a restaurant. After ten minutes I drove away and went somewhere else because I was on my lunch break. This wasn't the first time. I once sat in the drive through almost 20 minutes. Never again.

Cali Tacos absolutely delivers on flavor, freshness, and that SoCal‑meets‑comfort‑food vibe that keeps you thinking about your next visit before you've even left. Everything I tried was packed with bold, vibrant flavors and that perfect balance of hearty and satisfying. The tacos were loaded, the ingredients tasted super fresh, and every bite had that "okay wait... this is REALLY good" moment. The portions are generous, the salsas hit just right, and you can tell they put real love into their food. Service was friendly, the atmosphere was laid‑back, and the whole experience just felt easy and delicious. If you're craving tacos that go big on flavor without trying too hard, Cali Tacos is the move. I'll definitely be back to work my way through more of the menu.

Just when I thought I couldn't find a better Mexican restaurant, Calitacos proved me wrong. I discovered this amazing restaurant after doing a brewery tour blocks away. I was famished and this was the closest place to get food. I had seen the pictures and reviews from other Yelpers, so I had to check it out. The flavors knocked me off my feet. You know it's good when there is the after taste that tingles in your mouth long after you've eaten. It's so satisfying. The food is made to order and is consistent each time I've been. The serving team is awesome too. Friendly and helpful with answering my questions about the menu. There is much to choose from but the menu is simple. I love all the different birria options. The Califries are my favorite. It's an alternative to eating nachos. The dining area is very festive and open. Plenty of seating with tables, booths, or at the bar. The story of the founder of CaliTacos is painted on one of the walls and it's pretty cool. Mr. Calitacos, thanks for following your dreams to offer us authentic Mexican cuisine here in AZ. It's fantastic!

On Mother's Day we introduced our son and his wife to CaliTacos, it was a big hit! The restaurant was really busy, giving it a very lively atmosphere. The staff was handling the volume of customers really well. They are always very friendly and the service is top notch. I tried a quesadilla this time. It was very good.

Fun little taco shop with lots of seating just off the main road. Our service was great, very friendly and our food came out quickly to go. I ordered 3 tacos which was just right, not too much food. I will say don't expect super large portions. I also tried the cali fries. Both were ok, no anything I'd be craving but decent food. The horchata was my favorite part! They have large drink sizes which is great to share!

I visited Calitacos after seeing a video that made the food look amazing, so I had high expectations. I was recommended the Cali Fried Surf and Turf, which I ordered. When the fries arrived, I was immediately impressed--they looked saucy, cheesy, and delicious. Unfortunately, I ended up with raw shrimp, so I swapped the dish for carne asada fries instead. The carne asada fries were really good, and their red creamy aioli is an absolute must--seriously, it pairs well with everything. I also tried the al pastor taco. While it didn't look like much presentation-wise, the flavor was on point. The meat was seasoned extremely well, and if I came back, al pastor would definitely be the protein I'd order in whatever dish I chose.

Wanting something quick and close to work for Taco Tuesday I tried CaliTacos in the Palm Court Centre on Warner a little west of Arizona Ave. This is the 2nd time I've been here as the other was for dinner months ago with my family. The interior is set in black and red with a dining area, a bar counter in the corner and the counter to order. I placed my order at the counter and the server brought the food out to my table pretty quickly, within a few minutes of filling my drink cup. The chairs are not all the same, so look for one you may like if yours is not comfortable. On to the food...it's quite hit and miss for me. The beans and rice were not good. The beans were very thin and runny without any real taste. The rice also had no taste, nothing mixed in with it, just bland mexican rice. I got three street tacos- pastor, carnitas and pollo. The pollo was also very disappointing. Three of my four bites I had to pull out bone or gristle that could not be chewed and may crack a tooth or get stuck if your throat if accidentally swallowed. The chicken was also quite bland and needed a few squeezed of the hot sauce for any flavor. However I like the carnitas and pastor tacos...both had ample flavor and were overall quite enjoyable.

Food was amazing. Definitely one of my favorite tacos in Phoenix. Definitely will go again, also had really good horchata.

I came here for lunch and it was my first time. The interior is spacious and has a fun vibe. There are a lot of TVs showing various sports events, a bar and dining area. The menus are high tech and digital but there is also a physical menu you can look at by the registers as well. I ended up getting the 3 taco plate which came with rice and beans. I chose the carnitas, al pastor and birria ($1 up charge). I loved all of my tacos. I thought they were tasty and the meats were cooked and seasoned well. I also liked the 2 salsas they brought out to the table as well. Finally, I got the horchata which was creamier than I'm used to but it was delicious. I highly recommend Cali Tacos and I will definitely be back.

YES! YESS!! YESSS!!!! Definitely Worth The BackTracking!!! Found This Spot On Our Way Home, And Even Though It Was The Complete Opposite Direction We Still Went! The Menu Options Seemed Endless! The Staff Was Friendly! The Food!!! Well I Wanted To Order More Just To Take For Later! Was That Amazing!!! They Also Had Great Kid Options. Not To Mention The Prices... Honestly Expected A Higher Bill, For A Family Of Four. Four Drinks, Tacos, Meals, Flan, And A Horchata... Was Only Like 50$, And Those Tacos Came OVERFLOWED!!! Definitely Worth The Drive! Great Prices! Great Flavor! Honestly Better Flavor Than Any High-End Restaraunt That I've Tried ((The Same Style Tacos)) At So Far. The Inside Is Very Clean, Kept Up. The Vibe Is Laid Back, Family Friendly, We Went During The Afternoon. They Had Sports Playing As Well As Some Other Shows/News. Again! Overall 10/10!!!!

The tacos were fresh, flavorful, and packed with delicious toppings. The agua frescas didn't taste like they were made fresh, you can kind of tell the difference between fresh and the packet ones. The salsas were amazing though, and the staff was super friendly and quick. The only downside was there were quite a few flies around, but honestly, the food was so good it was worth it.

From the moment you walk in, you're welcomed by a beautiful, upscale atmosphere featuring an open kitchen, incredible artwork, warm lighting, and a vibe that's perfect for date night, celebrations, or dinner with friends. Now let's talk about the food... Beef Braised Short Rib: The star of the evening. Fall-apart tender, packed with rich flavor, and served over creamy mashed potatoes that soaked up every bit of that incredible sauce. Comfort food elevated to another level. Prime Ribeye: Perfectly cooked with a beautiful crust, topped with sautéed mushrooms, and every bite was juicy, flavorful, and exactly what you'd expect from a top-tier steakhouse. Crispy Lobster : Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and tossed in a sweet-spicy sauce that kept us reaching for one more bite. Espresso Martini: Smooth, balanced, and the perfect cocktail to enjoy with dinner--or to finish the evening. Dessert: The perfect ending to an outstanding meal. Beautifully presented and every bite was worth saving room for. One of the things we really appreciated was how every dish arrived looking as good as it tasted. The presentation, quality of ingredients, and attention to detail were evident from start to finish.
