They had a large variety of seafood tacos like fish and octopus. My boyfriend tried the fish and octopus and he really liked them. He thought it was one of the better tacos he has had in the area. Been searching for a good Cameron's a la diabala---this wasn't the place. Prawns were over cooked & tough-sauce was all cream with a hint of spice. I've had high expectations for this spot , especially because I am very familiar with this cuisine , ingredients and it's traditions. Hosting and Seating is an area that I feel has room to improve especially on busy days/nights. Although I noticed some tacky individuals would try to cut the waiting line and try to sneak into a table, the owner's son noticed as he wasn't on the waiting list and asked them to leave politely. In spite of needing another host to stay at front to accommodate guests and acknowledge them, I think This restaurant can accommodate to almost any party size, they will quickly shift tables around. As far as food goes for the most part it has all the elements it should have. For example , the Sushi Rice itself has Rice Vinegar and Sugar which is awesome as most other places don't nail it. However, it wasn't as balanced as I thought it would be-rather than being cooked with the rice in the steamer or pot , I'm almost positive they just poured the vinegar and sugar mixture over the rice as they kneaded the rice for the rolls. They also added cream cheese to balance out the acidity( not inside the roll) There were ends of the sushi where the taste of vinegar was more complex and full bodied. The rolls were made in a rush as they they were already opened up ( due to the fact they weren't compressed enough with the sushi mat) . The ingredients inside were scarce, mine had shrimp, octopus , crab , avocado and cream cheese. I will say that the sauces they squirt on top definitely overwhelm your palate and won't let you fully taste the rest of the ingredientes Tacos and Vampiros are delicious, although I don't remember ever having them served with beans in Culiacán. Beer tastes like it's been in and out of different temperature, and tastes old with an metallic taste to it read more
