    Cambrian omelet with hashbrowns.
    Melissa H.

We stumbled upon this place while hunting for somewhere open for breakfast on a weekday morning, and it turned out to be a nice find! Our server was very friendly and the food was solid. I especially liked that my Cambrian omelet had large chile pieces and that the salsa actually had a bit of a kick. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The long, covered patio above street level was also perfect with our husky.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We would come again.

Needed a little food after a Hearst Castle tour but before dinner reservations and found this cute spot in town on Yelp. Hard to not try a place that had mimosa in the name. The gentleman who seated us was also serving the whole dining room and he was so nice and attentive. We quickly figured out the giant mimosas were the best deal so we ordered one for each of us. My spouse had the classic orange while I tried the ruby red grapefruit. Highly recommend, each giant holds an entire bottle of champagne. To go with our booze, we decided to split a plate of shrimp and fries since we knew we were having a big dinner later that evening. Standard fried food but nicely done, plus the fried were that double crispy style that's always yummy. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Only downside was the complete lack of cell service, but that was all of Cambria, not just the restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall a great spot for a casual meal and a huge mimosa.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

We've eaten breakfast here several times. This is our first visit for lunch. I'm opting for the fish and chips. The hubby is having a cheeseburger with a side salad. The people who work here are always friendly and attentive. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute decor inside. Kind of western/cowboy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The battered cod is soooo good. I didn't care for the fries. They're the battered kind. Large serving, too. The hubby said his cheeseburger was good. His side salad was huge!

I came after a day of visiting the Hearst castle so I was craving something similar and we stumbled upon this restaurant. The big mimosa caught our attention lol. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was chill, the servers were nice, the music was so y2k.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'd go again for the tuna melt cause I actually enjoyed it.

The coconut shrimp was good. Didn't taste frozen. Also ordered green chili chilaquiles. They nice and crispy and flavorful. Service was taking some time. I informed them that it was my friend's birthday, so was thinking maybe that's why. But they didn't say happy birthday or anything. So that was a bummer. Was the reason we went to a restaurant.

This location is ideally situated just 10 minutes from San Simeon, making it a very convenient stop. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The surrounding area feels lively and full of energy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]While I struggled with a bit of a language barrier during service, I really appreciated that another team member stepped in to ensure our order was communicated clearly.Regarding the meal, the portions are slightly less than generous for a $28 price point. The flavor profile is notably bold with a very intense, peppery heat. There is a great opportunity to balance this spiciness while elevating the overall ingredient quality to better match the premium cost.

    French Toast breakfast.
    Ralph M.

We decided to have breakfast here today after our local friends told us of their pleasant recent breakfast experience. My wife had the French Toast and I ordered the Biscuits and Gravy with two eggs and sausage. We were both completely satisfied with our choices and we enjoyed a nice New Year's Eve breakfast. The French Toasts were made with cinnamon swirl bread which was a plus. The biscuits and gravy were done well and the eggs were fresh. The service was excellent and Karina was very attentive and helpful. We were seated promptly when we arrived and attended to without any delay. The restaurant is very clean and neat. Definitely a nice place for a good breakfast. We will give it a try for lunch soon.

Quaint restaurant right off Main Street in Cambria! Husband & I were looking for a lunch spot and were just driving around and this restaurant stood out. The interior was cozy with wooden tables. We were greeted and were seated quickly and waitress put our order in right away. I ordered the club sandwich and fries and a sherry temple. The portion was very generous and I took leftovers! The French fries were perfectly crispy! Definitely will be back when we are in the area! Thank you for a great lunch and start to our anniversary weekend!

We really enjoyed breakfast here. Arrived closer to noon but they were still serving breakfast. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meal. Quick and friendly staff will definitely be back.

If you are thinking of going here to lunch, you should absolutely do it! Everything we ordered was…read moreso good; the flavor profiles were unique and done so well. We ordered the beef tenderloin tips, signature chicken pot pie, ollalieberry burger, and braised beef stroganoff. We especially enjoyed the beef tenderloin tips and the burger. The burger patty had a mild gamey flavor which I think is due to the cow being grass-fed (correct me if I'm wrong). Staff were also very friendly. The owner himself came out to talk to us. The restaurant is located in a quaint, picturesque town. We enjoyed walking around to see the other shops afterward. The parking lot was small but we were able to find parking. We got there on a Monday around 2PM and waited about 5-10 minutes to be seated.

I first want to say that I absolutely loved the atmosphere and service at Linn's. Everyone was…read moreincredibly welcoming, and I'm writing this from a place of appreciation because I genuinely wanted to love the food as much as everything else. Unfortunately, it was a bit underwhelming. I had heard so many great things about this restaurant, so I left feeling a little disappointed that it didn't quite live up to the hype for me. My husband and I ordered the calamari, Caesar salad, linguini, and wild-caught salmon. The calamari was good, but the oversized plate made the portion look much smaller than it actually was... almost like leftovers. It's a minor detail, but serving it on a smaller plate would make it much more visually appealing. The Caesar salad was decent, although I wasn't expecting the tortilla chips. It was a unique touch, but I personally think the salad would benefit from sticking closer to a more traditional Caesar recipe. For our entrées, the linguini was much too watery, and most of the shrimp hadn't been deveined, which noticeably affected the overall experience. Given the price, I expected a higher level of attention to detail. In Southern California, shrimp linguini typically ranges from about $18-25 at casual restaurants, $26-32 at mid-range establishments, and $33-45+ at upscale restaurants. At around $35, I expected fresh, well-executed pasta, a balanced sauce, and properly prepared shrimp. I don't mind paying premium prices for a great meal, but in this case, the quality simply didn't reflect the price point. The wild-caught salmon had good flavor, but it was unfortunately overcooked. The presentation also left us a bit confused. It was served on a wooden board placed on top of a large ceramic plate, and neither my husband nor I could quite figure out the purpose of the extra board. We actually found ourselves giggling a little because we kept looking at it wondering, "Why is there a board on a plate?" I think the dish would have looked cleaner and more elegant served directly on the plate. The oversized plate, combined with the board and the vegetables arranged around it, made the presentation feel busier than it needed to be. Sometimes, less really is more. Overall, I truly enjoyed the ambiance and the excellent service, and I appreciate the effort that goes into creating such a welcoming experience. I hope this feedback is taken in the constructive spirit it's intended because I'd love to see the food match the outstanding hospitality. Despite my experience, I would absolutely give Linn's another chance. The atmosphere and service alone make it worth returning, and next time I'd love to try the breakfast menu, which I've heard wonderful things about. I'm hopeful my next visit will better reflect the reputation this restaurant has earned. :)

They declined and left. - A person came in asking for take out only to be told they were "inundated and not taking take out orders at this time." So far this is a management issue - these ladies were giving and needed 1 more server to keep them caught up- lots of business waking out the door due to poor scheduling- what a shame. One person behind the bar and 2 dining room servers would make this successful. It's too easy. - Food came out in a timely manner. Gary's pasta - 10/10 Clam chowder - 10/10 definitely homemade. My wedge- a little pricey but 8/10 only because the dressing came out clearly of a jar and no blue cheese crumbles. (Little things make a huge difference) - Moscow Marlin drink 10/10 - Another walk out. Lots of empty glasses at the bar. Would we come back? Only with these 2 servers. I have frequented both the Cambria and Fresno locations, partially due to the consistently decent service and mostly due to the quality and quick food. It doesn't matter if you show up right when they open, or if you arrive when there's a line out the door waiting to place orders, service is always much quicker than you'd expect. Food is decent--whether you get a salad (note-the side or small salad is huge--it fills a full to-go container), fish and chips, a sandwich or burger. Substitutions are usually not an issue, and ranch/bbq sauces are available at no extra charge. I'm generally impressed with how absolutely fresh the lettuce and veggies are for the salads. I really have grown used to spending $10 or more for a much smaller salad at other locations and have grown accustomed to picking out wilted/rotted veggies and lettuce. Not here-everything is cold, crisp and fresh. Meat is seasoned well-- and the fries are plentiful. There is usually plenty of seating, whether inside or on the patio. Parking can be rough along Main Street, but if you're patient, you can usually find something fairly close. It does help that the grill is towards the end of the street. Rest rooms are limited and often running low on supplies. It can be quite a wait during busy times. In all, this is a great place for quick and decent food. It is consistently enjoyable for the whole family. We'll definitely be back whenever we visit.

Sincerely friendly.welcoming, extremely helpful, and knowledgeable about the menu. Provided great recommendations. We ordered a hot dog $10. All beef. It was split grilled served with side of potato salad. And a slice of olallieberry pie $7. The dog had a nice quality snap, good flavor. The potato salad for me was just ok. The pie was heavenly. Perfect thickness of crust; it was dense, flaky and tender all around yummy. My tastebuds were doing a happy dance! The cafe has a charming farmhouse interior. The cafe interior tables were fitted with plastic table cloths. Not a fan of those. The back patio was super cute. The area is compact. Gorgeous flowers and plants all lushly thriving and blooming. Whimsical metal sculpture art . Water fountains that gave off a calming trickling water sound. The windmill structure was pretty cool. Dual purpose of up cycle art and patio cover. Almost every table had a huge umbrella providing shade. Next to the back patio are the restrooms housed in its own stand alone building. Could use a refresh. There are a few spots in the car lot in the back. But the lot is tiny and hard to maneuver about for larger vehicles.

A quick online search will tell you that an olallieberry is a cross between a blackberry and a raspberry and it's all delicious . I had a slice of pie a la mode. My daughter had an olallieberry cream puff and my partner had a slice of cherry pie. All were so good, especially with a nice cup of coffee. We sat in the outside garden patio area on a lovely late spring day. It was perfect. The service was friendly and yes it can take a little long, but it's a small shop with one guy doling out the pies, so be patient , it's worth it.
