I bought a 2018 Camry from this place new. They have been calling me nonstop recently, trying to buy my car for a trade in. I was not interested and I finally decided to entertain the idea. I was trying to negotiate with the person in charge of the negotiations and that person claimed the were "too busy" and "everyone wanted to work directly with them", and continued to refuse to work directly with me. I didn't want someone to be the middle man in my negotiations. They kept insisting I making a semi permanent commitment to buy that night (before talking to my husband) before they would start working with me (through the middle man). All I wanted was something to take home to discuss w my husband and chances are I would have bought. They are clearly not interested in buying/selling if it's on their terms. I don't work like that. I wasted a lot of time and mileage on this for nothing. I left so frustrated... for gods sake THEY INVITED ME! I don't "need" a new car!! It's a backwards way of doing business and I'm so disappointed. In 2018 when I bought my Camry it was completely different and no hustle. The place is completely different now and I have no interest doing any business w them. They lost a potential costumer for the second time. read more

This was the first time ever that my experience was stressful and unprofessional at a dealership. When I arrived I was greeted by an employee named Xavier. At first he was nice and communicated well with my husband and I. Once we purchased the vehicle I thought everything was great. Mind you I provided 3 paystubs and proof of address (literally the only things I've ever provided to a dealer). Well the next day I get maybe 4 missed calls from him now saying they need bank statements (3 months) I'm like ok? I thought the deal was closed....however I provided 3 months of statements and was told everything is okay now. The next day after this I get maybe 4 more missed calls saying now they need a W2 and an additional 3 months of statements. Now I start to get frustrated. First I was told the deal was okay...then I need to provide more paperwork. I hated the back and forth crap. To make matters worse xavier was extremely rude and would literally argue with me on the phone. It got to the point where he was harassing me 7-10x a day. I had to block his # because of the constant phone calls. I got so frustrated that I actually went down there and spoke with the director of used cars and the director of finance. Once speaking with them they were able to finally close the deal with the 3 stubs I initially provided!!!. Let's just say this was by far the worst experience I've had with a dealership. read more

Called Cole about my a/c being put and he said they'd take a look. It ended up being a major repair because of something I ran over, but he suggested calling my insurance and essentially saved me $1500. On rope of that my warranty covered my battery that was running down and the filters on my engine and a/c. My brake pads were down to nothing but I knew that so had term fix it and my wipers which were a decent enough price. On top of everything it was supposed to take four hours for diagnostics and repair, it took two and he gave the car a wash! You guys are awesome!! read more

The last time I wrote a review for Camelback was when I bought my car from Jake Mooberry. I left a 5 star review then, and am back to do it again. I've been bring my Corolla for its routine service since I bought it, and always had good care but his last visit was EXCEPTIONAL. I had the pleasure of working with West Ballard. My care was due for a 30,000 mile inspection, and West told me about extending my previous Toyota Care package to 45K, and saved me some serious cash. But that's not the good part. I drove the car away and stopped for dinner, and when I came out the car was dead cause lights were on and then there was issue with my roadside assistance...I'll save you all the details, but in short---- West helped me get my car taken back to the dealership, got it fixed, and even got my Zaktec updated since it was in anyway. All at no cost or hassle to me. He gave me frequent updates throughout and was totally in my corner. I really felt like he was treating me like a family member. He even said, and I believe, he went home that night and thought about what else he could do to make the best of a bad situation. And it was perfect. West is the best!!!!! read more

Kent even suggested we look at the less expensive model because he thought it had everything we asked for and he was right. We also got a good trade in on our Prius. Before I moved to Arizona I NEVER went to the Toyota dealership. I had a certain disdain for dealership service departments. However, after relocating here, I decided to give Camelback Toyota a try for basic maintenance. Since then, they have handled everything from oil changes, brakes to timing belts on my Tundra. Overall, an experience that is usually annoying went much smoother than expected, enjoyable even. I've been eyeing a very specific 2016 Trail 4 Runner and between Jim and Lauri we were able to make a deal and go home very happy campers. But he sourced it, had it delivered to the dealership, and it was installed by 4:35PM, so I could be happily on my way to Flagstaff for Turkey Day. Also, I had no appointment. I was a walk-in. The price, $18 dollars LESS than what was quoted. This was a truly EXCEPIONAL SERVICE EXPERIENCE, and I heartily recommend the service department of Camelback Toyota. Camelback Toyota Service on 16th Street and Camelback Road has renewed my faith in customer service again! I recently ordered a set of four belt moldings for my '07 FJ Cruiser (online) at a great discount. Then I made a bunch of calls around town to body shops -- even made one to Larry H. Miller Toyota to see what they'd charge me to remove the old worn ones and snap these new little buggers into place. I couldn't believe it when they all quoted me over 200 bucks for the job because I'd read a bunch of FJ Cruiser threads on the subject, and learned that these were fairly simple to replace. So I ended up calling Camelback Toyota and they told me they'd be happy to install all four for only 50 bucks labor. The service gal told me that if I could get over to the shop in 30 minutes she'd get me all fixed up -- so I drove right over. They installed two of the rear moldings right there in the service drive, and the front two in the service bay in under twenty minutes. I had an excellent customer service experience from an excellent service team! *It rained recently and the moldings they installed held firm... and my FJ stayed nice and dry! read more

This is the third Toyota dealership I've gone to for my oil change b/c I travel around the country so much and it was the best: -Nice big, clean waiting waiting room -A little cafe that serves food in one section of the waiting area (I didn't use it but it was nice to have available) -My customer service agent (Robert Gonzalez) was very kind and considerate -My car was very filthy when I dropped it off and they gave it a good cleaning - I didn't expect this at all and was surprised I got it with just an oil change. Honestly, the WORST customer service. Went in to check out a deal to lease a vehicle based off of an advertisement that was sent to us directly for being "valued/ repeat" customers. Our salesman was inappropriate and was only interested in getting me to sign on the dotted line but could not explain where he came up with money down, when the advertisement tailor made for us said ZERO down except the $1200 dealer fees. I walked out after being blocked in by the salesman. We received a phone call from a manager two days later who basically said we didn't know how to read and that they charge the sales tax up front. If that is true, why is the monthly payment also taxed? The manager kept talking over us, kept insinuating we didn't understand the flier, although it's in black and white and I even offered to send it. She said she would look into it and call back. Never did she call back. I called two days in a row and was promised that a hand delivered note be walked by Randy, to the general sales manager to call me back that day. Did not get a call. I called today and spoke with my salesman who first wanted to argue about transferring me to a manager then when I insisted, kept taking me off hold to listen to my conversation with my boyfriend and even responded a couple of times to what I was saying. The salesman finally transferred me to manager Luise, who asked me to email him the advertisement. I did said he would call me back and NEVER DID!!! He hung up on my boyfriend and refused to honor his commitment to me, the person who was trying to talk to him. I don't understand how a dealership treats customers who drive 100 miles just to get their car serviced by you, and are repeat customers of yours, like complete garbage. You sent the advertisement then wanted me to put minimum $2000 down on a car that said ZERO down for 36 months, $379 a month plus tax... in order to get $379 a month, I would have had to put $5k down. But the ad said ZERO down! And no one at Camelback can explain it or honor it. You are liars, scammers and I WILL be contacting the BBB with regards to your false advertisement! You snaked us in the door and couldn't even explain it. And no longer will we be taking our vehicles to you or buying from you. The BBB will be contacted about this. read more

Unbeknownst to them it had been changed 10K miles ago. Took the car to another service for second opinion. NOTHING wrong with car. Techs work on commission. Beware! read more

Love toyota but this dealership is something else. I'll keep it short and simple because I don't normally spend a lot of time leaving feedback on places, especially when it was an unpleasant experience. I went to help my mother pick out a toyota there was a language barrier on her end so for her to have a better experience I went with her. Long story short jessie one of the team leaders talked numbers and was very dishonest and un direct of the whole situation. I understood what he was saying and had him write it out on paper to see we were both on the same page. The dishonesty is one problem the second was that they tried to put the blame on me as a customer that I was the one who misunderstood when even the dealer who helped us out said he was in the wrong, regardless we didn't end up signing the final papers. How are you gonna lie say you're partnered up with state farm and then run someones credit for capitol one? something that was never mentioned at all. Would personally never recommend the worst part is that they don't hold there employees accountable to the mistakes they make you must have a really big ego to try and reverse the problem onto someone else. Who knows how many spanish speaking customers they have screwed over because of their lack of transparency and taking advantage of people not being aware. I was sold a vehicle that had been in a front end accident when they clearly stated that it was clean in carfax. In time I noticed that the front bumper was becoming uneven from the rest of the body and after carefully looking at it, it was repainted once. I needed a vehicle before another summer without AC here in Arizona. I unfortunately went to Right Toyota to test drive a vehicle. The entire experience from start to finish was not good. My keys from the vehicle I was turning in were kept from me, my driver's license was held hostage and my registration never was returned. I demanded my license and car keys, and after about an hour of stunts, they were finally returned. Fortunately I had another copy of my registration, so I was able to leave without that. Needless to say, I had a bad taste in my mouth when I went over to Camelback Toyota the following day. However, I was more than pleasantly surprised. I had been corresponding with Dennis Sanschagrin for a number of months prior to going in for a test drive. He was never pushy, but kept in touch to let me know the current deals. When I arrived to look at vehicles, Dennis was not there, but I was helped out by Andrew Eissfeldt. Andrew was kind and respectful and there was absolutely no pressure. We went on a test drive and he directed me to a beautiful park and told me of the javelinas he'd seen there several weeks prior. He showed me everything I could possibly want to know about the vehicle and made sure I was happy with the RAV4 I had chosen. The deal itself was made in about 1/2 an hour. They actually came in lower than I thought they would on pricing. Andrew was knowledgeable and there was absolutely no harassing or brow-beating. Absolutely the best car sales situation I have experienced to date. Right Toyota had quoted me a price that was so out of the ballpark I was insulted. Camelback Toyota was fair from the get-go. Next came the sales manager Richie Davidson. He was funny and also very respectful. He tried to get me to pay a few hundred more than I wanted to pay, but quickly came down when he realized I wasn't budging. Hey, it's his job I figure to try to get more out of me, but he started laughing when he saw I wouldn't budge and told me I could bring an apple pie in sometime. I actually will do that. He's a great guy. After the deal was made, I headed over to the finance department to meet with Roman Gelfand. I figured this was when things would get ugly. Not so. He was another great guy, very personable. It's his job to sell me maintenance, etc. and I was thrilled with the deal I got. I was in and out of his office in about 15 minutes. Kim McKay made a follow up call to be sure I was happy with my purchase. She was also kind and very respectful. I told her I was thrilled with my experience from start to finish there. I had a couple of add-ons for the vehicle that I needed to go back in for and the service guys were fast and efficient. I had a rental car in minutes while they kept my new one to work on. This is a slick operation and I've never seen such a high level of customer service skills. Roger Williams, the accessory sales manager was extremely courteous and helpful. The only thing I was a little disappointed in was the bluetooth I had installed only works when I receive a call, not when I make one. I guess I should have asked more questions. However, Roger made a point to research it and I heard back from him in under 1/2 an hour. When I took the car back in, I met with Dennis, the man I was supposed to buy from in the first place. He was just as wonderful as he'd been all those months prior. Personable, respectful and kind. He's great. There was not one bad or negative experience in my purchase, and I think I found the place I will get all future vehicles. I absolutely LOVE my new RAV4 and though I could have gotten it anywhere, I had a very wonderful experience buying it through the Camelback dealership. Thank you all so much. I bought here back in September after walking out on Larry Miller twice. Larry Miller did nothing but lie! When I went to Camelback I worked with Eddie K and he was very easy to work with. I told him exactly what I wanted and what price point would work for me and in less than 45 minutes I was signing the paperwork. I've never had an experience this good when buying a vehicle. My parents have bought 6 cars from here throughout the years and urged me to go here first. I wish that I had taken their advice in the beginning. Took in my 4runner to have a remanufactured transmission installed . The dealer installed a used transmission . It was 2500.00 for again a used transmission. Plus 1600.00 to install. Highly disappointed. I told them that was a total ripoff and they said that's the price. They lead me to believe that I was getting a remanufactured transmission. It was late when I picked up my 4runner. When I got home I looked under my runner in shock to see an old piece of crap transmission starring back at me. also missing a few bolts on the bell housing. The trans shifting was very slow. It will only go into 4th if over 4500 rpm's. They also replaced my front cv axels. I noticed they didn't even set the center steering correctly. very sorry I went here. The workmanship and pride does not seem to be there. all I know is that they made at least a 1700.00 dollar profit on a used part. Shady place to deal with.I own a small business and have many customers. I would never treat my customers like this. I am very up front. and I refuse to rip people off. Do yourself a favor and Find a good Toyota mechanic before you really need one. read more

A few months ago I had to start a fast search for a new vehicle because the transmission died on my old vehicle. I was greeted warmly by Andy O'Cana. I was primarily interested in hybrid vehicles at that time. He promptly showed me the Toyota Camry and Prius hybrids. I took several test drives with Andy, and he was patient with my desire to take my time in making my decision in which car I wished to purchase. Based on my disappointment with the interiors of the Prius vehicles I focused on the Camry Hybrid. I had previously test drove the Honda Accord Hybrid, which was, at the time, the major competitor to the Camry Hybrid. After several test drives of the Camry Hybrid Andy arranged for an Accord Hybrid to be on-site so that I could do a side-by-side comparison of the two vehicles. I was more impressed with the interior of the Accord than the Camry. My back was hurting after a few test drives in the Camry, which was the deal breaker in my mind. In interactions with the dealership I feel like I was provided with a reasonable quote for the Camry Hybrid, but it did not work out because of my vehicle preference listed above. However, I appreciated the low pressure sales tactic, and the fact that they brought in a competitor's vehicle so that I could make an informed decision. I recommend working with Andy if you have are in the market for a vehicle, and are considering a Toyota. read more

Terrible experience, I was ready to buy a car, I knew what I wanted and how much I wanted to spend. The sales lady was very nice and even though the car was a bit more than I was planning on spending, we figured out a good financing plan. The car used to be a rental car and during the process I didn't fell 100% good about this deal, as rental cars are a lot cheaper to buy directly at a rental car sales location. I told the sales lady that I would take the deal if they throw in a free window tint, which apparently costs them $140. She asked her Supervisor/Finance person if we could do that and he said absolutely not. He then continuously told me that they aren't making any money out of this deal and I should be realistic. He raised his voice while I packed up my items and left. He even followed me to my car continuing to tell me that I was unrealistic because of $140. After I left, I received three calls from management telling me that they will give me the free tint and that they normally never lose a deal because of $140. I went ahead and bought my car somewhere else. I had bought my last two cars at Toyota, but will not go back. If a customer comes into your dealer to spend 16-18k, don't be rude to them! read more

I had a very negative experience here. I had done a lot of online research first and I had even been in contact with the manager of the DASH program. She assured me that my buying experience would be great, that their priority was to make my experience great and easy...so I could DASH through the process.I knew exactly what I wanted and what this dealers advertised price was on the internet. I also discussed with the sales person the approximate amount that I wanted my monthly payment to be. So, I am feeling positive so far. Drove the car, all is going well...then the young sales person went to the manager to get the numbers. The internet price was listed at $40,573, so imagine my surprise when the sales person brought be a sheet of calculations that that listed the sales price of over $45K..plus they had added on another 5K if B.S....so the total to be financed was over $50K OMG...10K over what I was expecting...with a payment that would have been 25% over what I had discussed with the sales person. One of the empty statements that DASH advertises is that THEY LISTEN to their customers...What a joke. Thank goodness I had done my homework, because otherwise I would not have been aware of the advertised price....Really disappointed.... read more
