My husband and I went to Camelback Toyota to accompany my mother who wanted to purchase a car. Major KUDOS to Mr. MOHAMED NOUR. My mom had recently moved and did not need to be pushed, pressured etc. He took EXCELLENT care of her: no pressure whatsoever, pleasant, was honest (true!), quick, efficient. He even called her several times to figure out when she'd be there. We thought : pressure! but the reason why he did it was to rev up the AC for her! Before I moved to Arizona I NEVER went to the Toyota dealership. I had a certain disdain for dealership service departments. However, after relocating here, I decided to give Camelback Toyota a try for basic maintenance. Since then, they have handled everything from oil changes, brakes to timing belts on my Tundra. I am thoroughly pleased with the pricing and the attention to detail there. BUT, what makes the big difference is my service writer ROBERT GONZALES. I bought here back in September after walking out on Larry Miller twice. Larry Miller did nothing but lie! When I went to Camelback I worked with Eddie K and he was very easy to work with. I told him exactly what I wanted and what price point would work for me and in less than 45 minutes I was signing the paperwork. I've never had an experience this good when buying a vehicle. My parents have bought 6 cars from here throughout the years and urged me to go here first. I wish that I had taken their advice in the beginning. Took in my 4runner to have a remanufactured transmission installed . The dealer installed a used transmission . It was 2500.00 for again a used transmission. Plus 1600.00 to install. Highly disappointed. I told them that was a total ripoff and they said that's the price. They lead me to believe that I was getting a remanufactured transmission. It was late when I picked up my 4runner. When I got home I looked under my runner in shock to see an old piece of crap transmission starring back at me. also missing a few bolts on the bell housing. The trans shifting was very slow. It will only go into 4th if over 4500 rpm's. They also replaced my front cv axels. I noticed they didn't even set the center steering correctly. very sorry I went here. The workmanship and pride does not seem to be there. all I know is that they made at least a 1700.00 dollar profit on a used part. Shady place to deal with.I own a small business and have many customers. I would never treat my customers like this. I am very up front. and I refuse to rip people off. Do yourself a favor and Find a good Toyota mechanic before you really need one. read more

He is very knowledgable on different Toyota vehicles and explained to me in details on the new highlander features includes the Toyota care packages etc. He also provided exceptional customer services by meeting all his commitment and picked me from my home on the day of delivering the vehicle as a courtesy. Its ALL GOOD... The day before thanksgiving, I had a blow out in my Toyota. I took it to Camelback and Robert G. He did not have the tire in stock. But he sourced it, had it delivered to the dealership, and it was installed by 4:35PM, so I could be happily on my way to Flagstaff for Turkey Day. Also, I had no appointment. I was a walk-in. The price, $18 dollars LESS than what was quoted. This was a truly EXCEPIONAL SERVICE EXPERIENCE, and I heartily recommend the service department of Camelback Toyota. Camelback Toyota Service on 16th Street and Camelback Road has renewed my faith in customer service again! I recently ordered a set of four belt moldings for my '07 FJ Cruiser (online) at a great discount. Then I made a bunch of calls around town to body shops -- even made one to Larry H. Miller Toyota to see what they'd charge me to remove the old worn ones and snap these new little buggers into place. I couldn't believe it when they all quoted me over 200 bucks for the job because I'd read a bunch of FJ Cruiser threads on the subject, and learned that these were fairly simple to replace. So I ended up calling Camelback Toyota and they told me they'd be happy to install all four for only 50 bucks labor. The service gal told me that if I could get over to the shop in 30 minutes she'd get me all fixed up -- so I drove right over. They installed two of the rear moldings right there in the service drive, and the front two in the service bay in under twenty minutes. I had an excellent customer service experience from an excellent service team! *It rained recently and the moldings they installed held firm... and my FJ stayed nice and dry! read more

This is the third Toyota dealership I've gone to for my oil change b/c I travel around the country so much and it was the best: -Nice big, clean waiting waiting room -A little cafe that serves food in one section of the waiting area (I didn't use it but it was nice to have available) -My customer service agent (Robert Gonzalez) was very kind and considerate -My car was very filthy when I dropped it off and they gave it a good cleaning - I didn't expect this at all and was surprised I got it with just an oil change. Very unprofessional especially on the customer service aspect. The receptionist was extremely rude and not informative by any stretch. Also, the sales department is Extremely pushy and was a major reason we decided to go elsewhere. Hopefully this was an isolated occurrence. A few months ago I had to start a fast search for a new vehicle because the transmission died on my old vehicle. I was greeted warmly by Andy O'Cana. I was primarily interested in hybrid vehicles at that time. He promptly showed me the Toyota Camry and Prius hybrids. I took several test drives with Andy, and he was patient with my desire to take my time in making my decision in which car I wished to purchase. Based on my disappointment with the interiors of the Prius vehicles I focused on the Camry Hybrid. I had previously test drove the Honda Accord Hybrid, which was, at the time, the major competitor to the Camry Hybrid. After several test drives of the Camry Hybrid Andy arranged for an Accord Hybrid to be on-site so that I could do a side-by-side comparison of the two vehicles. I was more impressed with the interior of the Accord than the Camry. My back was hurting after a few test drives in the Camry, which was the deal breaker in my mind. In interactions with the dealership I feel like I was provided with a reasonable quote for the Camry Hybrid, but it did not work out because of my vehicle preference listed above. However, I appreciated the low pressure sales tactic, and the fact that they brought in a competitor's vehicle so that I could make an informed decision. I recommend working with Andy if you have are in the market for a vehicle, and are considering a Toyota. read more

Terrible experience, I was ready to buy a car, I knew what I wanted and how much I wanted to spend. The sales lady was very nice and even though the car was a bit more than I was planning on spending, we figured out a good financing plan. The car used to be a rental car and during the process I didn't fell 100% good about this deal, as rental cars are a lot cheaper to buy directly at a rental car sales location. I told the sales lady that I would take the deal if they throw in a free window tint, which apparently costs them $140. She asked her Supervisor/Finance person if we could do that and he said absolutely not. He then continuously told me that they aren't making any money out of this deal and I should be realistic. He raised his voice while I packed up my items and left. He even followed me to my car continuing to tell me that I was unrealistic because of $140. After I left, I received three calls from management telling me that they will give me the free tint and that they normally never lose a deal because of $140. I went ahead and bought my car somewhere else. I had bought my last two cars at Toyota, but will not go back. If a customer comes into your dealer to spend 16-18k, don't be rude to them! read more

I had a very negative experience here. I had done a lot of online research first and I had even been in contact with the manager of the DASH program. She assured me that my buying experience would be great, that their priority was to make my experience great and easy...so I could DASH through the process.I knew exactly what I wanted and what this dealers advertised price was on the internet. I also discussed with the sales person the approximate amount that I wanted my monthly payment to be. So, I am feeling positive so far. Drove the car, all is going well...then the young sales person went to the manager to get the numbers. The internet price was listed at $40,573, so imagine my surprise when the sales person brought be a sheet of calculations that that listed the sales price of over $45K..plus they had added on another 5K if B.S....so the total to be financed was over $50K OMG...10K over what I was expecting...with a payment that would have been 25% over what I had discussed with the sales person. One of the empty statements that DASH advertises is that THEY LISTEN to their customers...What a joke. Thank goodness I had done my homework, because otherwise I would not have been aware of the advertised price....Really disappointed.... read more

I needed a vehicle before another summer without AC here in Arizona. I unfortunately went to Right Toyota to test drive a vehicle. The entire experience from start to finish was not good. My keys from the vehicle I was turning in were kept from me, my driver's license was held hostage and my registration never was returned. I demanded my license and car keys, and after about an hour of stunts, they were finally returned. Fortunately I had another copy of my registration, so I was able to leave without that. Needless to say, I had a bad taste in my mouth when I went over to Camelback Toyota the following day. However, I was more than pleasantly surprised. I had been corresponding with Dennis Sanschagrin for a number of months prior to going in for a test drive. He was never pushy, but kept in touch to let me know the current deals. When I arrived to look at vehicles, Dennis was not there, but I was helped out by Andrew Eissfeldt. Andrew was kind and respectful and there was absolutely no pressure. We went on a test drive and he directed me to a beautiful park and told me of the javelinas he'd seen there several weeks prior. He showed me everything I could possibly want to know about the vehicle and made sure I was happy with the RAV4 I had chosen. The deal itself was made in about 1/2 an hour. They actually came in lower than I thought they would on pricing. Andrew was knowledgeable and there was absolutely no harassing or brow-beating. Absolutely the best car sales situation I have experienced to date. Right Toyota had quoted me a price that was so out of the ballpark I was insulted. Camelback Toyota was fair from the get-go. Next came the sales manager Richie Davidson. He was funny and also very respectful. He tried to get me to pay a few hundred more than I wanted to pay, but quickly came down when he realized I wasn't budging. Hey, it's his job I figure to try to get more out of me, but he started laughing when he saw I wouldn't budge and told me I could bring an apple pie in sometime. I actually will do that. He's a great guy. After the deal was made, I headed over to the finance department to meet with Roman Gelfand. I figured this was when things would get ugly. Not so. He was another great guy, very personable. It's his job to sell me maintenance, etc. and I was thrilled with the deal I got. I was in and out of his office in about 15 minutes. Kim McKay made a follow up call to be sure I was happy with my purchase. She was also kind and very respectful. I told her I was thrilled with my experience from start to finish there. I had a couple of add-ons for the vehicle that I needed to go back in for and the service guys were fast and efficient. I had a rental car in minutes while they kept my new one to work on. This is a slick operation and I've never seen such a high level of customer service skills. Roger Williams, the accessory sales manager was extremely courteous and helpful. The only thing I was a little disappointed in was the bluetooth I had installed only works when I receive a call, not when I make one. I guess I should have asked more questions. However, Roger made a point to research it and I heard back from him in under 1/2 an hour. When I took the car back in, I met with Dennis, the man I was supposed to buy from in the first place. He was just as wonderful as he'd been all those months prior. Personable, respectful and kind. He's great. There was not one bad or negative experience in my purchase, and I think I found the place I will get all future vehicles. I absolutely LOVE my new RAV4 and though I could have gotten it anywhere, I had a very wonderful experience buying it through the Camelback dealership. Thank you all so much. Shame on you Camelback Toyota. My wife & I set up an appointment to see a 2010 Toyota Highlander, which we were ready to pay for, in cash. The appointment was made 3/1/21 with Danya, for Tuesday the 2nd at 10:30am. She even promised to come in on her day off. After driving for 2 hours to get there, my wife was informed that she wouldn't be able to see the vehicle because it went to the body shop to have the bumper painted. Communication breakdown. The sales team manager, Connor, was nice enough to fill up her gas tank & offered to bring the Highlander to us on Wednesday March 3rd. We then made plans, including loaning my car to my neighbor whom I work & carpool with - to get to work on the 3rd. I ended up taking our other vehicle & took the kids to school. This meant I had to arrange to come in to work late & leave early to pick our kids up from school, to make it home in time to meet with Connor to see the Highlander. Wednesday, after the plan was already in effect & I had to miss work at this point to pick up my kids, my wife received a call from Connor, informing her that someone would be coming to look at the vehicle before he had scheduled to bring it to us. He let her know that, "If they don't buy it, I'll still bring it up to you." Keep in mind, THEY made the mistakes that led to this. We had also offered several times to put a deposit down to hold it because we were SURE we would buy it! We were told repeatedly that it wasn't necessary. A little before noon on Wednesday, my wife got the call that they sold the Highlander. But it gets better, he then offered us a 2012, with higher mileage, for $5,000 more. This vehicle was offered to us while it was being shown to someone else, at their house & another interested party was waiting for it. We were assured that it could be ours though, if we would just pay for it first, sight unseen. This Dealership has no integrity, does not honor their commitments, has terrible communication across it's teams & has poor accountability. I can see from the other poor reviews that the only response they have is to contact their customer relations manager, which it sounds like doesn't respond. We have already sent emails to Brandon, the internet sales manager & Jens, the general sales manager. Neither has replied. We do plan on filing a complaint with the BBB & informing Toyota Group. We are out time, effort, energy & lost wages. On top of that, even after letting them know that we won't be doing business with them, we still get phone calls from their sales team. I went to go into Camelback to purchase a Tundra. I did want to trade in my accord. It took us 3 days to finally get the 2019 Tundra we liked and for being a new car it had almost 300 miles, they had to repaint part of the truck and the center counsel was missing. The next day that we brought the truck home, Kim one of the managers, gave us a call and sincerely apologized for the condition of the truck and wanted to "start over". We took the truck in to have it fully detailed and center counsel replaced. They gave us a tacoma and $100 for the weekend. We got our tundra back and we loved the truck. Even though we were willing to pay $1000 a month for it, we didnt even hesitate. We got a call about 3- 4 weeks later stating that they have exhausted all of their efforts to get us the official approval and we would have to take the truck back. When we took the truck back, Kim and the finance Manager met us outside and basically said here the keys to your accord and $50 for gas. ALSO my accord was TRASHED. It was so dirty and disgusting. I had to go back into Kims office and tell her that my car was not "cleaned up and ready to go" as she told me it was going to be. She had someone go "detail" my car and by that I mean only wipe down the center counsel that had this nasty white wax stuff on it. They are just so horrible to their customers and their employees. They ended up taking money from our amazing sales guy because we returned the truck. A father of two and a dedicated employee. I would rather go back to Showcase Honda any day and buy another car from them. They actually care about their customers and not the money. I will never go back or recommend coming here, they only care about money. read more

I bought a car here and a year later referred my sister who bought a brand new 2017 car. As a referral I was supposed to be issued a $100 check. After almost two months passing by, still no check. I finally called the dealership and when I asked what the status was of my check the sales rep said my sister never mentioned a referral. I was in disbelief and said well the guy is lying because I have proof with a picture my sister sent me of the referral paper. Then the guy said he would work on it and let me know when I could pick it up. I had to keep reaching back out to the guy and he said the check was ready so I drove down here only to have the receptionists tell me there was NO check for me! I then had a different guy say he would take care of it and a week later? STILL no check! I finally asked to speak to a manager who apologized and said he would take care of it. He said by Monday or Tuesday at the latest I would have it. I get a call from a guy yesterday saying the check had been issued aug 11 but that he still had my check ready but just wanted to confirm that first one was never cashed. Did I receive a call? No! I'm back the next day wondering where is my check?! This is so absurd and exhausting. It's a $100 referral check and never did I imagine it would be so difficult to have the dealership just give me my check! I am beyond frustrated with the lack of professionalism and morality this dealership has. read more

Ok, so I usually really like the service I receive at Camelback Toyota, but I've been assigned to a service advisor (Robert Gonzales) twice now, and I don't ever want to be assigned to him again. I've had so many problems with this guy, and I feel like he has little to no concern for my overall well-being as a customer. The first time he was my service advisor was several months ago, for a routine inspection. He made fun of my car being dirty (I was planning on getting it washed that week), and had a very condescending attitude (I'm a young college graduate, and I felt like he was looking for opportunities to laugh at me). I would've totally just let it go, but then he forgot to tell me when my car's service inspection was finished, and I waited around for an extra hour until I went to go find him and figure out what was going on. Not cool, dude. Then, in June, I made a phone appt to get my car serviced, he was my service advisor again, and I was like "OK, no problem." He told me that my brakes were at 4 mm, and that I'd need to get them replaced at my next service appt in November. About a month later, I noticed a scraping noise coming whenever I was driving/braking my car. In my defense, I likely heard and ignored or didn't pay attention to the warning chirp, but I don't know a lot about cars, and I wanted to trust that I could wait. Anyway, the scraping noise got way louder, so I just went to the dealership today (did NOT meet with Robert, per my request), and my service advisor said that the rear brakes were metal on metal and that I need to replace my routers. Anyway, I own responsibility for that, but it seems like a not-great coincidence that I've had negative outcomes the last two times that Robert serviced my car. He seems just not to care, and I'm done with that. I will keep using your dealership, but I want other advisors. I trust them to do a better job. read more

Three strikes and you are out. And I have been more than kind. They only had another chance because we had found a sales manager who was true to word and helped. She left so we had to find someone new. Just like the past two experiences before the good sales manager , it started out really good. The initial people we talked to were really friendly and assured us they could work with our needs. Once it came to negotiations, their idea of working with us was removing our "must haves" to protect our vehicle. The sales rep called their supervisor or whoever he is, who was rude and unprofessional. I asked for water and he dismissively told me "Yeah, I will get it in a minute." We walked away because they couldn't come down another $900. They lost a deal over $900. We went to leave and saw our initial greeters. They saw how upset we were and offered to help. They tried.. and the supervisor guy came over, ignored me (still no water), and said he would come down $400. And looked mad he had to offer that. That is not customer service. You don't help people by removing what they need and being condescending. This must be why our family already took their business elsewhere (after buying multiple cars their previously). We will now be going elsewhere too (after it being our go to place for 10+ years and 5+ vehicles). read more

I have given business to this dealership for the past nine years, this go around is my fourth lease. The customer service it excellent, the service department is fantastic. I did have a bad experience my last go around, which I did let them know. With such a large dealership I'm sure there will always be something that goes wrong or something that doesn't want to be heard. This go around I was dealing with Richie Davidson and Billy Frazier. Richie heard about my last experience and turned it right around. They both listened to what I wanted, catered to my needs as a buyer, and made this experience a great one. Salesman david went off.he told me to pay 1500 down and pay 365 for 75 months.I was amazed how these guys treat other.I said 0 down and 365 for 75 months.-just be careful with those salesman.but david was my salesman before and I said I wanna biy from david, at last I bought toyota corolla 2012 from david for 0 down 365 for 75 months-after one week I dont lije this corolla I went back again I told david I want 2012 camry with same price. I have been bringing my car every 5000 miles to Camelback Toyota, and EVERY TIME I go, they tell me my car needs extra repairs (except once when I didn't get the extra repairs recommended the last time . . . Like suddenly my car was miraculously fixed). I don't really trust them because of this. Unfortunately, I seem stuck with them because of having a Toyota Prius. Nobody but Toyota dealers seem to understand the hybrid battery. Anyway, I wouldn't recommend their services department at all. read more

About the middle of June me and my mother was looking to purchase a newer vehicle so we could obtain a vehicle that had better gas mileage. I already knew what I wanted, so I looked around the lot and not to long after looking around I would say less than 4 minutes we was greeted by Vince. Anyway to make a long story short we test drove two vehicles and ended up getting a (2014) Nissan Versa. A very customer service oriented dealership. This seems to be the only Toyota dealer in the area that has received Toyota's samurai sword (President's Award). It shows. I stopped by last week to buy a couple of things in the parts department and decided to schedule an appointment to fix a couple of minor warranty issues while there. Chris Mill always goes above and beyond when it comes to making servicing my vehicle an easy thing.
