I made 3 trips here to look at an rv and decided to go for it...when going in for one last look, I changed my mind and told Joe that I did not want it after all...he flatly told me I was going to take it, the paperwork is already done. I was a bit taken aback that he was so rude about it. He said, you signed the paperwork it's yours and your mini is ours. They took the keys to my mini and walked away. Recently, I got a text from Joe saying "the lien holder of your mini says the account has been paid off. If you paid it off we need to arrange to PAY YOU THE MONEY we collected to pay that off on your behalf" I called Joe to discuss this and he said I don't owe you any money and won't be paying you any money.... we don't owe you any money. Said the Rv is too damaged to sell WHEN IT IS NOT and said the info that was given to them about the condition was inaccurate by the person who gave to them, ME. I was never asked about the condition whatsoever. Dropping it off was a breeze with no discussion. So he LIED. What we found out digging through emails, in the thread one of the reps mentioned that they offered too much at the beginning. We believe they were trying to low ball us big time to get a bigger profit. We are picking up our rv and taking it to a small local business instead where people are honest. Shame on this company. Went looking at a travel on a Sunday, we found something we liked as a family and worked out a deal. We negotiated, credit was pulled on myself and my wife. With a pop up camper for a trade in we where offered a deal of 210-230 a month with zero out of pocket. We all agreed and shook hands and my wife and I went home, emptied out our pop up camper and brought it in for our trade in. We where told financing would call us on Monday or Tuesday to finalize paperwork and schedule orientation and delivery of our 2018 Mallard. It's now Wednesday morning and no paperwork. I called them at 8:30 and got a voicemail, waited an hour and no response. We have a trip booked since February at Zion National park but we have no trailer. So I just drove over there to see what the hold up was. I spoke to a finance manager (I'm leaving all names out, I believe people are good, but sometimes fall in a rut they themselves don't want to be in). He shook my hand and lead me into his office, he had just heard from "the banks" and our "deal" had changed drastically. Now the banks wanted the $3k from my trade in plus another $5k out of pocket plus our term went from 15yrs to 10yrs. So now our monthly payment was $380 a month. I don't know what happened, who is the finance guy on Sunday who offered us the first deal??? I'm a very patient person, I asked for my title to my pop up camper back, also the keys, now to their credit, they didn't hold me hostage, I told them the original deal is the ONLY deal, if that's off the table then I need to leave with my pop up and get ready for my camping trip. They quickly gave me my title, keys, and sent me on my way. My wife and kids and I really liked that trailer, but a $5,000 discrepancy is unacceptable. I guess we should have read these reviews before making the purchase of our first RV. I don't think this company understands the concept of customer service. From the start it was nothing but issues including having to spend half a day at the DMV because the Smog was not done on it & we were told by the finance officer that it didn't require a smog test so we called & were completely disrespected & told that there was nothing that could be done. This was on the only day off to be able to take care of this. The employees of Camping World had no clue about the process for registration which is crazy to me if they are doing this everyday. The lady at the DMV was so surprised that this person from Camping World didn't know the process & she even had to walk them through it on the phone. If it wasn't for her we wouldn't have been able to get it registered that day. When we asked for the vehicle history we were told they couldn't provide it & never explained why. We were communicating since the day of purchase what our pick up date would be & have emails stating this, yet when we checked in 24 hours before as instructed we were told that it was not possible to get our RV washed & detailed; something that was part of the deal. In fact we were basically told we are not of the same importance as other customers who were getting their RVs washed for pick up. We even asked if they would be willing to have it ready at the end of the day or following which would be the last possible day we could leave & were told no. They didn't offer to pay for us to get it washed elsewhere which I even asked about. There was not even an apology or recognition that anything was their fault. After spending so much money & time & putting trust into a company when we said that we were concerned since it's the first time for both of us. It's such an unsettling feeling to not feel supported with something that was meant to be a really fun purchase, & has turned into nothing but stress. Finally my husband goes to pick it up , gets right on The freeway , doesn't even get more than a mile away and IT DIES!!!!!! Had to call a dang tow truck! Does that make sense to you? Not me ! The battery was completely drained! Worked fine when we dropped it off!!! AND the oil was BONE DRY! Don't you check that in a routine service!?! We called and of course they didn't accept any of the blame .Shame on us , this is the second time this happened , last time we picked it up from service with a full tank , got it back completely empty . When we first walked in and my husband explained what we wanted which was to look at a similar RV to the one we owned because Keystone was going to consider replacing our current RV with one similar but no flaws. There were two sales people and one of them said "oh, so you're not buying". Which I thought was interesting but very rude. The other salesman, Eli Leon took us around and showed us a few models, gave us a design flyer, his card, and told us to contact him at any time. Hmmm- imagine that, a kind and knowledgeable sales person. So Mr. Leon is the reason for the 5 stars. Sales at the Las Vegas Camping world did a terrible job. There have only been two helpful people in the whole place since we purchased our trailer, was Larry and one gentleman in the retail shop who actually told us what we needed. We are first timers and Larry was very helpful as he walked us how to do all the things. Larry was great! On the other hand, Darrick and Jason or Jeremy (he went by two names) were not great. Jason treated me like a dumb woman even though I was the one of us, between my husband and I, that had done the research and knew anything about trailers. Darrick was just in for the sale. We bought the trailer knowing internet needed to be installed and he told us the piece we needed was $300. Turns out it was actually $1000. Then we left the trailer there to have it installed (along with a few other things) and they didn't even install it. That was the #1 thing we needed since we stated we would be working remote. I'm in the market for an RV and will be purchasing one in aprox one or two months. I'm just waiting until my house gets sold. After seeing an ad for a Thor class A motorhome that they have available I drove down to check it out. When I pulled up to the office, a salesman that was out in front saw me and went into the office. There's really nothing wrong with that, but my experience has been that when a potential client pulls up, the sales person greets them. I went into the sales office. One of the employees greets me and asks if I needed help, which I replied that I'm interested in the Thor motorhome. The employee instructs the same sales person that walked away from me when I pulled up to help me out. The salesperson tries to get someone else to work with me instead. When that failed he did his duty by having me fill out an introductory form. We then got in a golf cart and he took me to the unit that's advertised. He told me the basics of it, nothing in too much detail. Showed me another unit and then told me to feel free to look around and call him when I'm ready to go back to the office. That's fair enough, I don't need a sales person breathing down my neck when I'm 'just looking'. It took me about a half hour to check out the rest of the units, and I called the salesperson to pick me up. I spent about 10-15 minutes in the hot sun waiting for him to pick me up in the golf cart. He never did. I walked over to my car... which for most people isn't a big deal but I have extremely bad arthritis and the walk pretty much was agony for me. I left. On the way home I received a text from the sales person saying that he's sorry, but he was in a training session and he'll send me any brochures of products I was interested in, Ummmm, the #1 thing in training is ASSIST THE CUSTOMER! Anything else is secondary. After reading some of the other reviews and videos about the shady sales tactics of Camping World, I now understand why I was abandoned in their parking lot. The individual that helped us in the store area sat with his hands in his pockets for several minutes. He openly complained about working while others are unable to and are (vacationing). We asked about additional parts and he didn't even look but said he didn't have them. I give 5 stars to the individuals working OEM parts. We walked in and immediately they knew what we needed and one gentleman we unfortunately didn't catch his name went above and beyond. My family and I wanted to go check out their selection to possibly upgrade what we have. I don't like to be bothered with sales people while shopping but they require you to check in when arriving which is fine. We walked in and were greeted by a receptionist and another female employee standing chatting at the front. We told them we wanted to check out a few RVs they had and the receptionist asked if we had an appointment. We did not, which her response to that was snarky and rude. She went on to inform us you have to be escorted around the property, which is fine but not something we are interested in so we told her never mind it's ok and began to walk out. As we were walking out both employees started making unprofessional comments and rolling their eyes while laughing. I can't believe the level of disrespect from an employee to a potential client. Mind you when we came here 3 years ago the inside and outside parking lot was full, today there was maybe one or two cars in the parking lot. Clearly they need to reevaluate their employee training and how they run/ manage their business. They will never get the business of my friends or family simply because of two unprofessional employees that they have greeting potential clients. read more

Called because I needed repairs. To Two motors one and Onan and another generator. Both Carburetor because of bad gas. First call on a Saturday, they said there was no problem, Onan Certified Repair. Just had to call back during the week to make an appointment with Joe T. Called the following Monday, left a voice mail. No response. SO called on Tuesday, left a voice mail. Later in the afternoon, Joe T returned my call. No they do not work on generators that are not originally and permanently installed in RV's. My campers 4k was out. They don't work on motors that are not on any other equipment. No suggestions except find a Lawn Mower shop. Then click. He hung up on me. Two minutes of his time... He Hung up! No suggestions, no referrals, no good luck, no kiss mine, nothing. HE HUNG UP! If you need repairs or even help, don't bother with this repair shop. read more

Update 2: We brought our class A in to get a tow package for the Smart Car. Everything went smoothly until the Roadmaster celanoid failed. Twice. Luckily the techs discovered it before we left the parking lot. John-John, Oscar and Denny refused to give up. Finally a good celanoid was delivered and everything works great. These guys went above and beyond for us. They spent hours showing us how to connect and disconnect the system. They went on a drive with us to show us how it works. These are awesome people! No complaints at all with the service department! Kudos to Mike for having a great team. Update: Since purchasing our new motor coach, we experienced several factory deficiencies in some areas. We were told by other owners, it doesn't matter if you spend $80g or $500 g, there will be kinks to work out. We had the toilet or some part of it break, three times, the dinette conversion bed was not properly constructed making sleeping on it dangerous and the whole entry door was crooked. All of these issues have been handled each time efficiently and professionally by the Camping World service department. While they don't like seeing us so often, we have come to know several employees by name and have a good relationship with them. The service manager Mike is awesome and makes every effort to get things done in a timely fashion. John Miller, PDI, knows so much as he used to work at the Thor factory and John, one of the technicians is extremely knowledgeable. We don't enjoy having to keep taking the thing back but it's so nice to be greeted warmly by our salesman, TJ and the other staff. My husband believes people in the service industry should be tipped whenever allowed and these folks are no different. A few bucks and a sincere thank you go a long way. We are looking forward to many road trips and adventures in our rv. read more

I'd like to begin by saying how fantastic Dennis Eberhardt was. From start to finish he answered all questions and made my family feel comfortable and welcome. The travel trailer I purchased had a panel that was cut a little short during manufacturing so rather than bring it home we left it at the dealership while they ordered the panel. I was informed it would be a couple weeks. It is now March 20, I purchased the trailer February 12 and I've already made my first payment on both it and my insurance with still no trailer and no word from the dealership. The part came in March 10. I called to check the status and was asked when I would like to bring my trailer in?!?! This doesn't even touch the trouble I've had trying to get it registered. I was told I can go into my local DMV( all necessary documents would be sent over) and register it at any time. I went in about two weeks after purchasing and the DMV had nothing from the dealership so I called camping world and was directed to Autumn's voicemail. She returned my message the next day saying everything was sent to the DMV the previous day. So I wait two more weeks and go back and have the same outcome. I AGAIN call Camping World and AGAIN receive Autumn's voicemail, who by the way has yet to return my call and that was over a week ago and neither has her Supervisor with whom I left a voicemail with as well. So Dennis Eberhardt, you rock! The rest of you that I've been dealing with I cannot say the same, and for that I will not be recommending Camping World. read more

Mike, Please bear with me while I rant... I too am in the Las Vegas customer service industry and know how very important a business reputation is, how potential business growth or decline is affected, how communication can either make a customer experience wonderful or guarantee an unhappy event. I'm very aware that problems are inevitable, but it's how those problems are addressed, solutions provided, and rectified that matters most. I had hoped to have heard something by now after yet another unpleasant experience with Camping World Service department on Saturday10/3/15, but still no word of any plan of action to rectify the situation. I purchased a 230k Coach from the Camping World Franchise, and was sold on the idea from Camping World, Longmont Colorado, that the large benefit was the company had many service centers throughout the United States ensuring any issues or warranty items would be efficiently and professional addressed. I purchased this unit July 3rd and immediately drove it from Longmont to Las Vegas. I called Longmont with our initial issue list in July and was directed to work specifically with Ray at the Las Vegas location. I gave Ray this list and made an appointment in July to drop the unit off for repair. It is now October, and still initial warranty PRIORITY ITEM #1 seat station SEAT BELTS MISSING HAVE NOT BEEN ADDRESSED or any information communicated regarding unresolved complaints. When I initially notified Longmont Colorado immediately of this in July, they stated there should be 4. I was told both in July, August and September that parts needed to be ordered, and it was Camping World's preference that I had the ability to use my coach in the interim. So I drove my 230K coach around missing seat belts, a refrigerator that doesn't stay shut, inoperative entry steps, and a driver generator status that doesn't work, in addition to 8-10 other small items on the work orders. Of the 3 months I've had this Coach, it's been sitting at Camping World service center for over 1/3 of the time. Parts that were supposedly ordered came incorrectly at the mistake of the Vendor.. After the second time the incorrect parts were ordered or delivered , I demanded that counter to counter delivery, at the expense of the parts distributor be responsible for the mistakes that should be assessed. After the second appointment was made for 8/24/15, the parts were supposedly on hand so I could drop the unit off and get everything completed by Sept 3rd so I could utilize it for Labor Day weekend. Unfortunately My business obligations(customer service) took priority and I couldn't make the trip and advised that since the unit still wasn't complete there was additional time. After 3 weeks of this coach sitting at Camping World, You and I had agreed this was unacceptable, and I was assured the situation and all associated items listed on the work order would be complete for an Oct. 2nd delivery... OVER 30 days since I had left the unit with Camping World! Saturday, I arrived and the unit was pulled up front: #1 The generator compartment was not secured.. I attempted to lock and a large black support of some type fell to the ground. #2 The fridge lock was the same that I put together from Lowes that I left in a drawer. Had not been replaced with a missing original factory part from delivery. #3 CW tech (supposedly) advises that Winnebago states the dash indicator showing generator hour use is not "wired from factory" #4 CW tech (supposedly) advises that Winnebago states the seat station #1 at the dinette is not a station that has seat belts of which seat 2,3,4 of the same dinette all have seat belts installed. ( I previewed 3 other identical units that all had safety belts installed at all 4 dinette seating stations) Unfortunately, because of the lack of effective communication, makes it hard to feel confident in anything I'm being told is completely accurate. Needless to say that unless these items are specifically and immediately addressed, my opinion and concerns with this situation will not be resolved to my satisfaction! At this time, I'm merely & adamantly requesting immediate attention to rectify the above addressed concerns. Please respond accordingly with an appropriate plan of action, a timely response is expected. Best Regards, Rick C. If I could give zero stars I would. Do not buy an RV from this location. We bought a 2021 brand new travel trailer and immediately within a month had structural issues (welds snapping on tank straps and the spare tire bracket snapping off the back, every single cabinet and drawer fell apart driving it home from the lot) which I am aware camping world doesn't build the RVs. So we decided to bring it in for the repairs and they initially told us it would take 2 weeks for the warranty and 2 weeks to order parts. They have now had our trailer for over 2 months and kept giving us the run around come to find out they ordered the wrong parts. When I finally got fed up and caused a scene, mike the manager "fixed" it in one day. Told us to come at 5 pm to pick it up, since they still had to detail it. When we get there at 5, Not only are all the repairs not done everyone was gone for the day, obviously so they didn't have to deal with it and it was Filthy! They didn't even bother to wipe their dirty hand prints off everything let alone detail it. read more

I dropped off my Generator to have them look at it. David in the service department had it a few days finally called me on Wednesday to say it needed a spark plug an oil change and a air filter and he would get back to me on price for the parts. So at that time I said just go ahead and do it because I need my Generator ASAP. I called back on Friday to find out the update on the service and apparently he left early and Noone else knew the status of my Generator, so I called again Monday morning and told them I would have to pick it up, so I did David finally calls back Tuesday at 430pm to ask if I still wanted them to do the service, I am 300 miles away from there and that is not possible and he gets very rude on the phone with me when I confront him about not calling me back and charges me 250.00 for basically doing nothing but wasting my time. 199.00 per hour shop rate time. Peterbilt doesn't even charge that much. Very dis satisfied customer will never be back to that location and probably never deal with Camping World again, always the run around. I dropped it here for service & 3 warranty items. It took 3 months and a very long list of excuses and no call backs. Absolutely the most disorganized service ever! They even called me 2 months into it and told me the parts came in and bring in the trailer...it was already there, stored in the back out in the hot desert sun!! They forgot it was even there! When I left it there the tanks were all dumped, when I got it back the black tank was 3/4 full!! Use your own bathrooms! I was told it was stored under the canopy, it wasnt as you can see in the pics. Just more on their list of uselessness. I am sorry I bought it here. They have ruined the Rv experience. We went through the entire process to come on signing day and have the down payment doubled with no explanation besides the bank required. Which was absolutely a lie as we bought the same RV with the same lender from another dealership with the originally agreed upon down payment...
