Love ordering from this local restaurant. Whether you dine or take out service is very quick. Food is very good. Only thing I'd have to say is that there food is not that spicy. Yep - been here three times now. Always had great service and love the food. My favorites are the Singapore Mifung (noodles), Orange Beef and the Salt & Pepper Shrimp. Great Oolong Tea too. The Wgg Fu Young was tasty, but not prepared the way I like it best. The restaurant itself is a beautiful space. Especially the large mural across the back wall (Prescott Valley location). I really don't understand the negative reviews other than a lot of people are miserable and angry. I have no personal connection to this place, but always find the serving staff quite friendly. Some of the servers have limited English, but they all understand "please", "thank you" and a smile and they always get our order correct. We always order extra so we have lots of leftovers to take home and can get different flavors. They laugh at how much food we get, but we know it is ridiculous. We don't eat out often, so we indulge once in a while. Yes, this is American style Chinese food. But I think it's better than average. Don't listen to the haters. This place is great! read more

Ordered take out on Easter Sunday. Craving asian food and found this place on yelp. Not much else open. It was this or Panda Express. Phone order was easy to place. Ordered a ton of food; eggplant with fried tofu, veg low mein, sesame chicken, green beans, chicken chop suey and shrimp fried rice. Pick-up was a breeze. The food was alright. The eggplant w/ tofu was the best dish. The tofu was fried perfectly, and the flavor of the sauce was good. The shrimp fried rice was nice. The rice was cooked well and had good texture. The shrimp were a good size and not overcooked. The veg low mein was the least liked. It was bland, and the ratio of vegetables to noodles was poor. The sesame chicken and green bean dishes were typical, nothing to report. The chicken chop suey was decent. The veggies still had a little crunch. Overall, the food was not worth the price paid. Got Delivery thru Post mates. Plenty of food. Decent egg rolls, but spare ribs though deliciously glazed were too tough to eat. Everything else was yummy. I would definitely order or go back again. Food is edible but not what we expected. The pork fried rice is just rice that was fried. The General Tso's is sauted chicken with a sweet sauce. I was taken off guard by the General Tso's CHICKEN came with shrimp and mushrooms. Asked for extra Spicy and the chicken is sweet. No spice! The lo main is mushy noodles with no flavor. I ordered take out and paid by credit card. When I sow the charge on my bank statement I was charged a 15.00 tip. I normally do not tip if I go in myself for a take out order. Plus, I paid extra for fried rice, what I got was white rice with soy sauce in it. They are not that great for food, they lost my business. And A few of my friends have complained about the Tip being added on a take out order as well. Don't get me wrong, I tip for service and delivery. But if I go to a fast food and take out my order, I DONT TIP THEM. read more

I've been here a few times. The food is average as are the prices. But what's driving my review tonight is the incredible rudeness from a waiter. I went alone with my book. The place is never that busy so I don't feel like I'm taking up space and I'm never there more than 45 minutes. I ordered and was eating. First, a waitress tried to remove my plate while I was still eating. Then the waiter came over and made a snarky comment about me ordering two dishes. First, it was an appetizer and an entree. Secondly, why is he commenting on my food order? If I order the entire menu keep your opinion to yourself and bring the food. Instead of JUST LETTING US TELL HIM WHAT WE WANTED.. the man asks us tons of questions SPECIFICALLY TELLS US TO PICK TWO (2)!! Under the impression we are paying the initial price THATS ON THE FAMILY MEAL THATS SAYS FOR TWO!!!! That's what we said we wanted. We get our bill it was fucking $55.00??? LIKE WHAT? so none of the menu pricing is right or there scamming me. I could have been charged individually for everything I got & paid half the price. But instead I got yelled at by some rude ass women saying YOU CANT SHARE THE FAMILY MEAL? There is everything wrong about this situation! GET YOUR CRAP TOGETHER! We ordered on the phone. Got the food home and it was inedible, and $30. I called to complain, was told to bring it back. An older woman looked at the food and said it was partially gone. Well, yeah we had each tried a bite to discover it was awful. Then she said, oh, now I remember you! I told you 10 minute! You came 20 minute! Food ruined by then! I will refund $5 only! By then I was beat, had driven one hour (15 min x 4). I truly wonder how in the world they can stay open, or pay rent for that fancy bldg. The reviews are horrific. Sorry I didn't see them first. I was pleasantly surprised. Service was great and the food is perfectly prepared. I had my go to. Shrimp fried rice and Chicken chow main, we also had Broccoli Beef and pot stickers for an appetizer. All tasted great. Our server had a great sense of humor and took care of us like a champ. This is for the Prescott Valley location. The Prescott location my opinion is slightly different. Our first time at Canton Dragon and were so happy we chose to have our Friday night dinner here. Missing our Chinese restaurant (Kung Pao House on Ball Rd in Anaheim, CA) and were happily impressed. Our server, Jackie (not "Chan" :) :) :) was absolutely delightful !! He was thoroughly attentive, funny, helpful and made our visit so pleasant. We shared Won Ton soup, Ma Po Tofu (!!!!!), and Jackie recommended Happy Family also to share, which was delicious (beef, shrimp and chicken with crispy vegetables). Visiting from San Diego for company training and I was craving some Chinese food. After a quick search, this became the obvious choice. I stopped in to an OPEN restaurant (things are still closed here in CA), had a seat at the bar, had a beer and placed my order to go as I had homework to get to. I ordered some hot and sour soup, chicken wings and an order of twice-cooked pork. I couldn't have been more pleased. The food was still piping hot when I got back to my room. Legit, old-school Chinese restaurants are all but extinct here in SoCal. It was nice to find one of this quality. On a side note, when reading the reviews, there are a few negative ones peppered in among the many, many very positive ones. I guess someone could catch any restaurant on a bad day but, when the positive ones are so overwhelming, it's a no-brainer. I'm always skeptical of the very few negative ones. They are typically posted by the overly-picky or someone who has an axe to grind with the establishment for whatever reason. read more

Good Chinese food for lunch. Rapid service and excellent customer service. Food came quick and hot. Kind of dark inside and lighting is very dim. But I can still see the food and drinks. I prefer some Chinese music but there wasn't any music and it was not crowded. So we got to sit right away and was done like in 30minutes. read more

Good Food. TERRIBLE !! SERVICE !! My sister and I took my 81 year old grandmother out for lunch here. Had to ask for drinks. Had to ask for refills. None of the staff ask how every thing was. Had to ask for the Bill. So Then as I pay the bill and go to pull the car around for my 81 year old granny. they catch her at the door and tell her she needs to pay for the soda....... She had stated my granddaughter paid the bill. The man told her that they forgot to put it on there and if she didn't pay the $3.00 for the soda they where going to call the police ??? Seriously !!
