I love this place. The staff is always friendly and their pizzas are yummy and that's coming from a girl that grew up outside NYC. Their caprese salad is probably my favorite thing to get but also their spinach chicken Alfredo pizza is awesome. You can also order their food when you're at good line brewery across the street so you can support two local businesses in one date night! They sent us 2 burned pizzas & when we called to inform them that we just spent $45 on two burned pizzas, the girl on the phone placed me on hold just to come back and tell me that she "talked to everyone there" and they said it wasn't burned. Never again will we order from this location. She asked us to bring the pizza back for her to look at, like I was lying. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. Tried this place for the first time on a visit to Lubbock. The reviews looked great so I thought I'd try it out. I got the white pizza. Pretty simple, regatta cheese mozzarella and Italian spices. However it was extremely bland and not much flavor. The other issue is they don't really have an individual size pizza which sucks for those who usually eat alone. So the smallest size is a 12 inch which has about eight pieces. Not exactly single dining eater friendly. The cups for the soda or drink were very large to avoid refills which was nice. If you want a vege pizza, order the Rabbit. All other vege pizzas pale in comparison to the Rabbit. Buffalo chicken pizza is a solid choice. Thai Curry Chicken pizza is one of my absolute favorites. Seeing as the Krew and I were just getting our palettes revved up about a month ago we thought it was only fair to give capital the shot it rightfully deserved. My FAVORITE pizza place in Lubbock! I've been here several times and the food is always great. I've tried their calzones and pizzas. This time around I got the Thai Basil Chicken Curry pizza and it was amazing! Their pizzas are huge and I split it with a friend and we still had leftovers! We were visiting family in Lubbock, staying at the Woodrow House B&B & heard about Capital so we had to try it. Picked up 3 smalls to share: The Big One, Smokehouse, & Rabbit. All 3 were terrific. The Rabbit is the best loaded veggie pizza on the planet. The cheese is very flavorful & abundant. Crust on the Smokehouse pizza was so beautifully shaped & crisp yet chewy.
