The photos show their half-hearted attempt to dress this up with a few shreds of red onion and what must have once been some kind of chili pepper. Their pizza isn't as bad as their sandwiches, but I wish I hadn't gotten onions as a topping. Tried this place for the first time on a visit to Lubbock. The reviews looked great so I thought I'd try it out. I got the white pizza. Pretty simple, regatta cheese mozzarella and Italian spices. However it was extremely bland and not much flavor. The other issue is they don't really have an individual size pizza which sucks for those who usually eat alone. So the smallest size is a 12 inch which has about eight pieces. Not exactly single dining eater friendly. The cups for the soda or drink were very large to avoid refills which was nice. If you want a vege pizza, order the Rabbit. All other vege pizzas pale in comparison to the Rabbit. Buffalo chicken pizza is a solid choice. Thai Curry Chicken pizza is one of my absolute favorites. The pizza was ok but certainly not worth the wait. The service was not prompt and therefore there was no way of knowing what the seating accommodations were when you first enter. My FAVORITE pizza place in Lubbock! I've been here several times and the food is always great. I've tried their calzones and pizzas. This time around I got the Thai Basil Chicken Curry pizza and it was amazing! Their pizzas are huge and I split it with a friend and we still had leftovers! We were visiting family in Lubbock, staying at the Woodrow House B&B & heard about Capital so we had to try it. Picked up 3 smalls to share: The Big One, Smokehouse, & Rabbit. All 3 were terrific. The Rabbit is the best loaded veggie pizza on the planet. The cheese is very flavorful & abundant. Crust on the Smokehouse pizza was so beautifully shaped & crisp yet chewy.
