I dont know why ppl bother to ever go to Subways (theres one 2 blocks east of here). The bread is far superior, fresh and chewy. The portions are larger. The prices are about the same for the footlong vs their Medium. I STRONGLY recommend you download the app and order online. During lunchtime their wait can be 45mins to 1 hour if you walk in, due mainly to their carry-out volume. I come here 4-5 times a week. Their Homemade Turkey is the only turkey sandwich I am aware of that is real turkey and not deli meat. For those who dont know, almost all meat at sandwich shops are cured, according to the WHO, this is a Level 1 (highest) cancer risk. I would give this place no stars but it won't let me proceed with commenting. So my experience was terrible. I placed an order online for a chicken cheesesteak on 9/4 but instead getting chicken I got beef instead, called the manager spoke to Lonnie I believe that was his name and complaint and he said to come back tomorrow and will make the sandwich that I ordered plus will give me a combo and I agreed. Okay so today I went to pick it up and was not so fond, the bread was sloppy like if they dipped it in water and the it broke into couple pieces and it just looked disgusting. This is what $47 (plus tip) got us at the Southern Highlands location. I wrote their customer support about the quality 3 weeks ago, and of course they never replied. We ordered a large Philly Cheesesteak and a half Bobbi. The Bobbi was good, but the Philly was on a bun about the size of a hot dog bun and the meat and sweet peppers were so scarce it was laughable. Whenever I visit Capriotti's, I always order the Capistrami and The Bobbie, but this time, I only wanted something little, so I ordered their Cran-Slam-Club. Our request to have the bread extra toasted was met with kindness and assistance from the staff. packed full of turkey, cranberries, ham, cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes; it resembles a lighter, less substantial version of the Bobbie. Once they concluded their conversation. Without so much as a hello. He finally took my order. Before the transaction was completed. Another guy walked in behind me.
