Still forming an opinion on their selection of beer, spirits, and wine. My most recent visit was fine. I was in and out quickly to grab a couple of items and everything met expectations. One thing to note: their food service stops at 8:30 pm. I got the timing wrong and just missed it.

Decent breakfast burrito. The pastrami was lean but not my favorite. Eggs were fluffy and potatoes were not overwhelming the burrito. But I would prefer the crispy hash browns. No seating inside unfortunately. But it's a liquor store with snacks and whatnot.

*** Take-out only deli store *** Caps & Corks is a liquor store that also happen to sell breakfast burritos, sandwiches, and burgers. The store is located right next to a gasoline station. No indoor tables as this is a grab-and-go spot. Please note that there's an extra transaction fee for using credit cards. [Parking]: Limited designated parking spots in front of the store, but I was able to find an available one at 9:30 AM on a weekday. [Menu]: This spot is known for breakfast burrito and Philthy Philly Breakfast Burrito is the top Yelp highlighted item. Other two notable highlighted items are Hanky Panky and Rise & Shine Burrito. *** Philthy Philly Breakfast Burrito (egg, ribeye steak, hash brown, onions, sweet peppers, mushrooms & white American cheese wrapped in a flour tortillas - serrano peppers free add-on, $14.75): It was an interesting take on breakfast burrito ... basically a Philly cheesesteak breakfast burrito. The portion was huge with solid fillings, but green salsa tasted alright and the fillings lacked an extra "wow" factor. *** Not exactly the best tasting breakfast burrito I have had, but their breakfast burritos are reasonably priced (less than $15 and I can split the burrito in half & eat the other half later) and also tasted fairly decent.

Located between a 76 gas station and an IHOP. I got here shortly after they opened so there were plenty of parking spaces available. I ordered the rise and shine burrito with bacon. It's a decent sized burrito and overall was a good breakfast burrito. It came with your choice of mild or spicy salsa so I went with the mild green salsa. Service was friendly. Only had to wait less than 5 mins and my food was ready. Seems like others place their orders ahead for pick up too. The burrito was decently priced as well. Just fyi: there's an additional 3% fee if you pay with CC. Luckily, I had cash on me.

Ate half of the breakfast burrito, which was excellent. Mild salsa was very tasty and hit the spot. Tried the other half the next day. Upon cutting into it, there was a 2 inch long, thick black hair sitting through the center of the burrito. To Caps & Corks-- Please have better health and hygiene standards and protocols when cooking. I will not be returning.

I am always looking for a better breakfast burrito location in the South Bay. Nothing has really peaked my interest out here until I tried the Philly Cheese breakfast burrito from here. The cheese was perfect, I do not like stringy cheese in a burrito, the slices of the steak were perfect for a breakfast burrito and there was enough ratio to each bite. The location looks like a gas station convenience store. You order at the counter and our burritos took less than 10 minutes to make. There is not seating so that was a downside, we were looking to stay close to the area because of car maintenance. Their mild salsa was delicious with the burrito. I feel like it they can make a pico- style salsa (corner cottage Burbank style) this place would knock everyone's socks off.

This place was sooo unsuspecting and it definitely took us by surprise. My friend and I were in Torrance looking for breakfast after getting tea and we came across this place online. Upon entering we were a little confused as all we saw was alcohol in front of us but as soon as we saw the menu we knew we were in the right place. The breakfast sandwich was unbelievably good. The eggs were fluffy, the tater tots were crisp, the avocado was fresh. Everything about this sandwich was right on. If I could have it everyday I would. We will be visiting again

First timers. Oh my goodness the deliciousness that this place packs. Ordered an Italian Job. It had a kick. It was delicious. I ordered it warm. Hubby was lucky enough to try the Philly cheese. I haven't met a Philly that I liked yet and this is the place that I fell in love with it. This is as our first time here. We will definitely be back. Oh my I took a bite and I think I love it more than the Italian Job. The Philly also had a spice taste to it. It was good. This place really served deliciousness. There was only one size. And it was a decent big size. About $20 a sandwich. The place is clean and neat. Everything is orderly. Lots of beers to choose from. The staff are extraordinarily great. Kind, friendly and welcoming. The staff in there were just so nice. They made our day with how pleasant they were tonight.

My husband and I tried the sandwiches and we both thought just ok. The ham I didn't like it was really thick, and tasted like what you can buy at the store. ( no biggie) my husband ate it. On the plus side, the bread was very soft that was nice, I appreciate that. I just wish there were more options for bread. However, I do love that they have white American cheese. The service was ok. He just sat on his chair and played on his phone. Over all it's a little pricey but I'll be back to try other things on the menu.

First time here & I tried the rise & shine burrito & added bacon and avocado. Not the best burrito I've ever had, not the worst. It honestly wasn't flavorful to me. There wasn't a lot of bacon, which more may have added more flavor and the hashbrowns weren't crispy. The burrito was mushy I think because of the eggs and "mashed potatoes". I was dissapointed since their reviews are pretty good but maybe I'll try them again at some point. The overall deli is nice itself though. This place is like a convenience store with sandwiches, burritos and tacos. It's NOT a sit down place. It's in between a strip mall & gas station.

I love Caps & Corks always been a fan until I noticed the lack of care detail in making food. I paid $2 dollars extra for an avocado and it looks gross, rotten & slightly molded!!! I am pregnant, and I have to be careful what I eat. I don't feel confident about eating food prepared by someone who thinks it's okay to put that gross avocado into a paying customers food. It shows lack of concern or possibly laziness which makes me question the over all preparation techniques and/or cleanliness of the cooking facility.

FYI: this is a pick up, not sit down type of place! Though the burritos are so worth it! They are not only huge, but also so tasty and good The service is also wonderful, the guy in the front is so friendly :) additionally the place is kind of like a gas station store so there are plenty of chip and drink options.

Got delivery- ordered a breakfast burrito with avocado and a street dog. Asked for only onions on the street dog but they put all the fixings and soaked it in mustard which unfortunately made it inedible to me. Wouldn't order that one again. We've had some disappointing experiences at Caps and Corks but my husband likes cheesesteaks so we've been a few times. My most recent visit will probably be my last. The cashier tacked on a "minimum credit card service fee" when the sandwich was $12.95. I've never been to a store that has a CC minimum higher than $10! The worst part is he didn't warn me about it or even let me know I could get a soda or something to avoid paying it. He did not hand me a receipt, I had to ask for it. After looking at the receipt I noticed this "fee". Also frustrated that I also tipped on this "fee". It's not that much but I really can't stand when businesses are not transparent with their credit card fees... maybe they had a sign up and I missed it? Not sure, but I still think it's a bit weird to have a CC minimum higher than $10 at a sandwich/liquor shop. read more

You have to be aware of this store! They do not show prices for alcohol on their shelves. I have been going there for the last year. I always get the same thing and get charged differently every time. This is a deceitful practice do not buy from any store where they don't advertise the price, they can add any price they want on to your sale. They also have a tip button when you use your debit card be sure to click no with your purchase. read more

The wife and I stopped by here to grab some drinks, and we were really impressed with how nice this store is. It is bright, clean, extremely well organized, and the owner and workers are friendly and helpful. The aisles are spread out, so you don't run into other customers when you are shopping. Looking forward to trying the hot food next time we are here! read more

The best breakfast burrito I've had in the South Bay. The Rise and Shine burrito with ham and avocado is my usual jam, but their breakfast sandwiches (egg and cheese) and grilled cheese sandwiches are awesome and perfect for kids too. The staff here are friendly and great. Hands down one of my fav spots. read more

I just finished my last bite of the Philly and had to sit right down and say something nice. Even after ordering pick up and driving all the way home (like a madman cuz the heady aroma from the bag made me insanely hungry) the meat was still hot. Not luke warm, HOT hot and fresh as f. What a KILLER cheesesteak and no disrespect to other local sando shops but there's no way in hell you're finding anything close to this in Torrance and maybe the entire South Bay. It was simply perfect: the meat is high quality, lean but flavorful and super well-trimmed with no stringy shit or fatty edges, and not the slightest bit greasy; BUT with the melted cheese (I went for the white American) and all the fixings it was still gooey and juicy rich as it should be. The long roll looked gently pressed and soaked in all the juices inside but didn't get soggy outside and held its integrity to the end. I'm completely full and super satisfied but don't feel weighed down. It's just a pleasant mellow happy cheesesteak buzz from head to toe. And for the record my wife loved her veggie burrito. Keep up the great work gents, we will definitely be back soon! read more

I've only been to this place 2-3 times and every time I've came the food has always been really good but one thing I do not like about this place is the workers at the cashier always seem to have a attitude and it's not just one it's litterally all the cashiers I don't know how to put it into words but a example is I walked in to order and the cashier and another employee were talking and I approached to order and they just continued talking until I spoke up. once my food was done I said thank you to the worker and they just said mhmmm and nodded at me. Another time I came in I asked for extra ranch knowing I had to pay for it and the guy worker said "it's in the bag" in a rude way like I was bothering him or something read more

I pulled up to Phanny's this morning, had no idea they were closed on Sundays. I did a quick search to see where else I could get some breakfast burritos nearby. I had always wanted to stop in to Caps and Corks, did not know they had food. Man, am I glad I did. The breakfast burritos are awesome. This place just opened and I am already going in daily! the Breakfast burritos are the best around and every sub I've tried is amazing. They cook everything fresh right in front of you too, which is dope! They also have a great selection of wine and beer. On your way home from work tomorrow, I recommend you stop by and grab a bottle of La Crema Chardonnay and two Big John Stud sandwiches for you and your special lady. You'll get laid. We just dropped $40 on food at this place...Only to find out when we got home that literally everything we ordered was wrong. I told the person I ordered with that my child would only eat a plain Turkey sandwich (Meat and Mayo only). Guess how the sandwich was made? Mustard and Turkey. So that sandwich went in the trash. We ordered another Turkey sandwich with pepperoncinis. There were no pepperoncinis on the sandwich and the bread was completely stale. I will never go back. read more

After telling myself I would not try Caps & Corks again because of my previous (and only visit) was terrible, I am happy I gave them the benefit of the doubt! Today, I ordered a burger (yes, at 7 am) and had it ubered. The burger was FANTASTIC! It was a perfect amount of food, cooked to perfection and had great taste! I highly recommend trying the burger! Now, about my first time trying Caps & Corks... I went with a buddy to get sandwiches. The pictures online all looked great, the location looked clean so we said, why not... We ordered, brought the food back to our work and was disappointed once we unwrapped (what we were hoping for was a great) sandwich. The sandwich had one slice of meat (each of our sandwiches), which was folded over. I'm not sure about you but if I'm paying $9 plus for a sandwich, I am expecting more than just 1 slice of meat (folded over to make it seem like 2). Now, I'm probably going to stick to the burger, maybe try a hot sandwich, but most likely not attempt another cold meat sandwich. read more

Haven't tried everything yet but I'm here for the breakfast burrito.. it's bomb...it's big and filling and the salsas compliment it perfectly. Pricing is decent. My son had the peanut butter and jelly sandwich which I didn't expect would be as wonderful as it was but they grilled the bread so it was warm and crispy with a generous filling of peanut butter and Jelly (I don't even like grape typically but this was delicious). read more

I went in and was told my sandwich would take 10-15 minutes toon closer to 25 I didn't want to give them too hard a time since they are still building the restaurant and putting equipment in but I won't give them another shot until the restaurant is finished and there is more staff read more

If you are in search of South Bay's best breakfast burrito then look no further than C&C Deli located inside of Caps & Corks Liquor Store. I'm usually apprehensive about eating in a restaurant or deli that is located inside of a liquor store because I'm super picky but my husband made me get up this morning because he heard that this place serves the most delicious breakfast burritos and deli sandwiches. Let me just say; I was very impressed! This "liquor store" is super clean and the customers service top notch. I'll definitely be back to try the Big Joe Sub sandwich and of course play some lotto! read more

Caps & Corks is my go-to for breakfast burritos in the area and I always recommend this to friends and family. The flavor in the burritos is something the others around here don't come close to. With that said, it hurts my soul to have to dock one star because I've developed such a deep love for this spot. I ordered my usual Philly Cheesesteak Breakfast Burrito yesterday and the beef tasted like day-old re-heated meat and I could taste it in every bite :( please don't do this to me again, Caps & Corks. I still love you. And since I'm writing this review, one suggestion I would make: the argument for best burritos always comes down to crispy bacon and potatoes, which I would agree that there is room for improvement here. Most prefer that over the good flavor in these burritos. This is where I seem to lose these battles. read more

First time here. Ordered 4 breakfast burritos. I know simple but a good breakfast burrito is hard to find. I'm so happy we found this place. Burrito wasn't dry. Had plenty of flavor. Not greasy. Caps & Corks is AMAZING!!! You don't believe me, go for yourself. You'll see. Money well spent. Pastrami is my favorite. The food is good and the alcohol selection is BEAUTIFUL! Lots of choices of tasty IPA's, hard liquor and wine. On the weekends it gets crazy busy. And I see why. So what I've been doing is calling in my orders because the wait time can be long. But it's worth it. The customer service is great! They even remember the customers name. I met the owner. His name is John. Cool as hell. He even has a pastrami sandwich named after himself. It's so freakn good! I've been there so much, my next sandwich is free! I love this place. Caps & Corks rock!!!!!! read more

This is a very nice liquor store that also has a deli and grill inside. They have about 10 sandwiches to pick from as well as a breakfast burrito in the mornings. We came here for two sandwiches and we got the Fat Albert which is a pastrami sandwich and we also got the Big John Stud which morning a a pastrami and turkey sandwich. They have sides like coleslaw and potato salad to choose from and because it's a liquor store there's a million options to pick as far as chips and drinks. Everything was very good And I'm excited to try the Mama's meatball sandwich next. Will definitely be back!!!! read more

Meanwhile, though not my first visit, but a long time since my last, I couldn't help but notice how large the space is, and how much they have to offer. Only half of the space is a store. In the back, they have a full bakery of popular Italian treats. Bombolinos and cookies and even basque cheesecake! Then they have sandwiches and other homemade meals that you can purchase by the pound. And to top off the experience, you don't have to wait to get home - there's a fountain for beverages and you can eat your deliciousness in their large dining area. I'm honestly really disappointed with my experience here. I ordered a burrito and found a hair inside, which completely ruined my appetite. On top of that, the price was way too high for the quality of food I received. What made it worse was the customer service staff were dismissive and rude when I brought up the issue, like it wasn't a big deal. Definitely not worth the money or the attitude.
