I bought a GMC Yukon from Cardinale, and love the car. You can't find an SUV that is more luxurious and rugged for the money! Before buying the vehicle I priced other Yukons and similar vehicles and Cardinale GMC was by far the best value. Kudos to the staff at the dealership for their customer service; they were patient in showing me ever feature of the vehicle before sending me on my way, and they followed up to answer any questions I had about the vehicle a week later. At my first service they got us in and out quickly. A week ago someone hit my mirror and it required replacement. the manager, Dino, called me and told me it would be four days to fix it and I was happy about that time frame. One day later he personally called me and said the car was ready and he sent a person to Sacramento to get the mirror to fix the issue. First, I'm impressed that the GM, Dino, is actively involved in customer service, that's a sign of great leadership and commitment to service. Second, the vehicle is awesome! Third, the price was the best in Central California. I won't buy a car any place else. read more

Terrible experience with Kiara. She was so kind the day my friend and I visited to look at cars. When she texted my friend to check in and my friend told her the car we saw wasn't the one, she was extremely rude and condescending in her response. She then continued to text my friend over weeks, most recently FOUR times without response. Even knowing she had already bought from somewhere else. Then today she cold calls me "to check up on my friend" which is just weird and super creepy. Of course it turns into her wanting me to buy from her or refer friends to her. I feel that Kiara really crossed boundaries here and her behavior was rude and skeezy. She must be really desperate. No excuse. Not my first bad experience here either. I was interested in a vehicle with this dealership and inquired via autotrader. I had some back and forth and tried to work out a deal with them when the vehicle was $21,900 and we couldn't work anything out initially. I tried calling and working with another salesperson because the initial person never followed up. The initial salesperson said they couldnt move on the price and the second salesperson was trying to stay firm at the then current price too. I never heard back, so figured they weren't interested in my business or the car was sold. So a few days ago, I got an email notice saying the car price dropped to $20,900 which was odd cause they said there was no flexibility or movement on the price. Then the dealership circled back with me to see if I was interested. I missed the call and was instead texting with that first salesperson I was dealing with and even after the posted price changed to $20,900, he told me that the car still priced at the previous price. Then when I sent him the screenshot of their own price reduction, he said that there was an "undercoating application" due to the seaside weather. Basically he was trying to bullshit me back into the old price. Be careful with this place or you will end up paying an additional $1000 for an undercoat that you didn't want or ask for or even know would be charged. read more

Their service dept team is the best. I had been taking my car to nearby Chevy dealer for routine service since purchased. At 1st, the girl I worked with was nice and supportive. But she quit and then I was dealing with 2 possibilities. 1 a-hole or 1 dumb-a. When I tried to point out a couple possible warranty concerns, it was parroted each time, they could never duplicate it or said they would have to contact the factory and get back to me (which they never did). Decide to try GMC dealer instead. Used key drop box to leave car for oil change and identified the same 2 concerns that Chevy dealer couldn't/wouldn't address. When I pick up the car, I find Lolly, who was my the nice rep that quit the Chevy dealer. She remembered my car and she explained she came to GMC because her previous manager also did and they make a good team. Then she said they will be ordering a replacement radio/nav system based on my complaint of intermittent freezing up. Turns out there was a factory notice on this that someone actually took the time to look at and act on. Then we discuss my other concern which is a fastener under the car to hold the rear bumper wrap. Unusual part failure with no evidence of any impact. It turns out to be a rather major ordeal to replace this plastic block because it is molded into a much larger body piece. Suffice it to say, I will be dropping off the car Monday morning to pick up my loaner while my baby is off to the body shop to correct this. Thank you to service advisor Lolly, manager Carlos AND the parts dept team for the time they took to ID this unique scenario. Thanx to the whole Cardinale team for showing what a good teamwork can do for their customers. I am glad I made the change. From start to finish we had excellent customer service. Mike, sales manager was awesome.Sylvia, financing, was so helpful and very efficient. Dino, the owner was so personable. Ralph - the most helpful, kindest person you'll ever meet. Thank you Cardinale GMC. Fast forward, 6 months - still have not found someone at GMC to give me a tutorial for my car screen. The screen offers lots of fun extras and yet, so far, it appears no one knows how to actually use the screen. Car broke down after 3 weeks. 2016 CRV with low mileage. No issues recorded in car fax and we have just been using it to take kids to school. What a disappointment. I left work early and drove from an hour away to come see a specific car only to find out they sold it. I called the dealership prior to leaving and verified they had it. I gave the salesman my number to call me if it was sold because I was leaving and to expect me in an hour. The salesman asked if I was interested in any other cars and I replied no. When I arrived the salesman notified the car "just sold" and he tried calling me. I had no miss calls or messages. He didn't apology and continued to try to sale me on other cars. I left since he had already wasted my time. A few days later I noticed that the dealership still showed the same car I was interested as available. I now believe they just post fake ads to drive business in. Complete scammers. read more

Bought a used 2010 Chevrolet HHR SS from Brandon. We put 5 grand down and were approved for financing. We had a long wait, as the vehicle was being shipped from Colorado. Boy, it was soooo worth the wait! The HHR SS is a rare car, as only 1400 were manufactured. Even after having some issues with the car, Dino, the General Manager, called and we brought it to the service department. Carlos, the service manager, was amazing. He went out of his way to get the problems fixed plus some. We are definitely going to be back when my daughter is ready to buy her first car. Big shout out to Dino, Brandon and Carlos. I would avoid getting cars serviced here. If you do end up getting work done here be on the lookout for missing parts. I took my Denali here to get serviced, somehow the engine cover shield was missing after. I addressed the situation to them and They insist on proclaiming my car didn't have an engine cover which is a complete lie. I told them I'm pretty sure I know what my car has somehow they insist on knowing more about my car than i do. My car had a plastic shield cover over the engine that said Vortec. I had to order to replace cover from another dealer that confirmed my model car did come with it. Coincidently that part is backordered which I guess explains the demand for it. read more

I had a great experience getting service here. Just needed some basic maintenance, and came just before lunch. One of their guys skipped lunch and took care of it for me, so I wouldn't have to wait. Excellent service! Lolly Rodriguez is my new go to person. She's friendly and professional. The service on my truck was completed in a timely manner. The complimentary car wash is awesome! The waiting room provides coffee, tea, water, television, and comfortable seating. I especially like the kids room (when there is no kids) makes a nice plug in and charge while you wait. This review is solely based on my experience with one specific employee whom I would like to mention was completely incompetent at doing her job for many reasons. I would love to tell you her name so no one has to deal with her but she failed to mention her name even once the entire time (she had dyed red hair). I came in after previously speaking to a salesman the week prior and had an appointment set up to discuss a potential trade in for a car off the lot. Once this woman brings me into an office she proceeds to give me some paper work for my credit report, because I was a first time car buyer I have no idea what any of the paperwork meant and asked for clarification (which is their job to provide) she looks at me and laughs and says "don't worry about filling out the rest of the form I'm sure you have good credit you seem very high maintenance" my friend and I were appalled to hear that comment. I'm high maintenance for wanting to know exactly what I am signing??? All she did was look at me and chuckle whenever I asked her questions. She knew absolutely nothing. If that wasn't bad enough when she went to pull the car I own to the front she took the liberty of helping herself without my permission into my glove box to obtain the title of my car, along with my registration who knows what else she could have opened or went through in my car. Lastly I was so uncomfortable and wanted to avoid being screwed over by this woman I decided to leave. When I get up she goes oh your car isn't here but he should be back soon. During the time I was looking over papers she took my keys that were on the desk with my stuff and failed to mention she was giving them to someone to go for a test drive in my car. Never once did she say they were doing that. An absolute mess this place was. The worst part is, I walked into that dealership ready and excited to come home with one of the cars on the lot and instead I left absolutely perplexed by what I had experienced. For those of you reading this who for whatever reason decide to give this dealership your business ask for Cleve, he is the man I spoke with prior to my most recent appointment. He is great, helpful and actually knows how to do his job. Hopefully they find more staff that can actually perform their job. read more

I walked out with an approved loan then one months later found out it fell through. I even had their financial manager calling me at 10 pm at night telling me to return the car right now. I bought a 2016 Tahoe here at the end of Nov 2018. I was hesitated on going to this GMC spite the fact it was 3 hours away from home (one way). My husband got in contact with a sales person in regards to the Tahoe. I will just put it this way the sales man was hungry for business because it was the end of the month and he talked us into driving 3 hours because he was ad emit with giving us a good deal with knowing I had a trade in. We explained to him we already had bad blood with car dealerships dicking us around and that we knew what we wanted and that was that. We got to the dealership around 3:30pm mind you I already had a pre-approval letter from my own credit union. It should have been an (easy in and out), but far from it. The Tahoe smelled so bad, it was never detailed and the TV was broken. Don't you think they would have at least detailed the truck before showing it? It was on their lot for over 40+days. By this time it was already 6pm and nothing was settled. They low balled me on the trade in and they didn't want to use my pre-approval letter. The sales men insisted on running my credit and that it wasn't going to be a hard inquire (very uneducated) he ran my credit and sure enough it dinged me as a hard inquire. This is the reason why I had the pre-approval letter. Such bullshit it doesn't end here. After another 2 hours of arguing back and forth my husband, daughter and myself walked out and headed back home (3 hour drive mind you). 20 minutes into the drive we get a call from the sales person telling me they would give me what I wanted. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? We drove 3 hours in the pouring rain, spent 5 hours with you and got NO where and now that I'm heading home you want to make the deal? There was no way I was turning around. I was anger with the unprofessional run around and the non-stop chatting. You want to make a deal you can drive the vehicle to my front door. 2 day's letter they drove the Tahoe and the paperwork to my house (very different experience). The sales man new I had personal license plates on my Chrysler (which I took off and kept) and I wanted them transferred to the Tahoe. I also wrote on a highlighted sticky and put it on the DMV registration that I wanted to keep the personal license plates. I do NOT need new plates. What came in the mail yesterday? New license plates with a random number. Also I was promised floor mats that were not in the truck and I still have not received them; and you wonder why you got treated with disrespect. The service center took my car to fix it while under warranty and didn't keep me updated or get me a loaner car for a month. I didn't purchase my GMC through them but bought it used at another dealership. The paint has started bubbling off of my truck, the dealership I bought it at wouldn't even help or arrange for a GMC dealership to look at my truck. So after wasting the day where I bought my truck with no help. I brought my truck over to this dealership. Where they made an appointment to have my truck fixed. Unfortunately they couldn't take it in today, but still rating 5 stars for thier customer service. Hopefully the cost should be covered by warranty. So far so good, and much better customer service than where I actually bought the vehicle. I will post an update after, my truck is fixed. *UPDATE: Unfortunately when I took my vehicle back to drop off and be fixed, I was told that no the paint would not actually be covered and I would be responsible for the bill. It is over a year old and has more than 12k miles. So I didn't leave my vehicle to be worked on. It is a manufactured defect but because there is no rust it's not covered. Which makes no sense, a manufactured defect should always be covered. I bought the truck about 2 years ago, I have done nothing to cause the paint to bubble up and chip off. The Denali truck is only a 2014, and of course pearl white, so the most expensive paint job. To come out of my pocket when I am still paying for this vehicle. No I dont think so!! I had a 2005 jeep for 14 years and it barley had a scratch, super disappointed considering the paint job is what attracted me to this particular truck. read more

Johnny in the finance department is the real scammer, PLEASE, watch out and don't let him add $5,000 worth of warranty's that you don't need and can't use. Feel free to message me for more details. Once you sign the paper, they don't give a shit about you. Called management multiple times, still don't even have the service skills to call people back. My brother just used Sam Linder, and he's actually happy. Don't get stuck with a bad deal and horrible service like I did. Plenty of other companies in the area not looking to rob you. The staff is welcoming, professional, and easy to work with. Just bought another vehicle from them a couple of weeks ago, our lease was up on our GMC Acadia. If I could give less stars I would, I should have checked the ratings because I would have stayed away . They will ROB you of your money. I put a hold on a car yesterday and was told 2x that as soon as I take the car off the LOT, I would have 48 hours to return and there would be a 750$ charge. Which I agreed since I wouldn't be taking the car until Thursdayyyyy. I asked the finance guy TWO times that I wouldn't be charged today or tomorrow. Come to find out the lady today says that as soon as I signed the paper to hold the car there would be a 750 charge. WHICH I was not told yesterday.I was ALSO told if I changed my mind about the car I would receive a check back but they deposited it back into my account. So now that I have to wait for the returned money I'm left in negatives on my account plus a pending charge of 750!!!!! STAY AWAY!! MONEY VULTURES BEWARE. Plus they wanted to charge a 17+APR and I found places charging half the APR they're charging. Keep looking elsewhere. read more

This auto repair service must be a front for some unknown, because these idiots cannot read a dipstick, let alone a OBDII code. They replaced 2 oxygen sensors that were brand new. They did not give me the ones they took out. They charged me $650.00 !,!??!!. Plus, they drove my car over 700 miles and gave me my vehicle on Empty, no water in the radiator and a car that wouldn't go over 50 mph on the freeway. it overheated and died. They said it was not their fault and left me stranded a few miles from their shop, stranded broken down in the dark. This car ran great before I dropped it off with them! This car was tough and strong, a manual 5 spd V6 Chevy Camaro, but the trouble light prevented it from getting smog. This is no exaggeration, I hope I save you from giving any money to these morons. You will only be a bigger fool than me if you do. It took me 6 hrs to get home to Prunedale from Cardinale GMC, Seaside. A pitiful shame is the nicest thing I can say about Cardinale GMC read more

The car is good and the sales person Mike Vigil was great, but Everytime I come in for the service I'm guaranteed to wait, wait, and wait some more. It's not Jiffy. If time is money than three hours for routine maintenance just cost $300. They need to speed up their service. read more

Attention customer service; First off, you should know, I am typing this review with my middle finger! This is the worst place to get a vehicle. Flew in from Southern Cal. And was guaranteed, the 2013 Chevy Avalanche I was about to pay cash for, was NOT in an accident. When I arrived, it obviously had been and I gave the dealers lesson 101 in the obvious. Pop the hood.. bolts were attached to the hood in a shoddy manner unlike Chevy would do also, paint around wheel wells, did not match, was rough and not smooth as the rest of the paint. Ok, the body looked ok and I needed a ride. I went inside and waited forever then decided to give it one more go over. They parked the nose so close to a wall, I was unable to look sufficiently and I think the dude named Mike, who followed me, acted exasperated as if I was being too picky.. Hey, at $34,000.00 cash (not including taxes and such) Oh well!!! Cut to the chase... When I got home late that evening, I realized, I drove all the way home with NO tail lights.. The next day, it was apparent a block fuse had recently been removed as there was a dust ring where it once was. I also noticed, there was not a tire jack included, these are safety violations required by law! Also, the roof of the truck was missing a huge chunk of paint that continues to grow. Ahhhhhh, this explains having parked the vehicle so close to the wall. I've called, left emails & messages to no avail... These guys suck! Plus, the truck had more mileage on it then advertised. If you wanna get ripped by guys who don't care and will do you dirty. This is your Dealer! My next complaint will be with GM! read more

Do not buy from Cardinale GMC If I could rate Cardinale GMC a ZERO I would. I would never buy another vehicle at Cardinale GMC. They sadly are liars. They put an undercoat on supposedly and then charge you for it. I didn't ask for it. We agreed to a price that removed the undercoat price. When I went to sign the paperwork I was exhausted from them taking hours to finalize the paperwork on their end. My credit was excellent so it wasn't my side that delayed it. I was told that I have 48 hours to return the vehicle if I changed my mind. I did change my mind. They ended up charging me for the undercoat which was not agreed to. They failed to inform me they charge a $250 fee for the 48 hour right to rescind along with a $500 restocking fee. This was not agreed to, nor mentioned. When I went to return it they took several hours again to do so, almost putting me past the 48 hours, and then charged me $750! Outrageous! This was never mentioned, nor did I agree to something I wasn't informed about. I talked to other dealerships in the area, and none of them do that! They said if we had something like that it would be only a $200 fee for the right to the 48 hours right to rescind, but if someone rescinds, and doesn't want the vehicle, we never charge them the $200! WARNING!! DO NOT BUY FROM CARDINALE GMC!!! I ended up buying the same vehicle from another dealership with 11,000 miles less and 2 years newer than the one from Cardinale GMC! That new purchase was $1500 less than the one from Cardinale GMC. I went from a 2017 Hyundai Tuscon with 36,000 miles to a 2019 Hyundai Tuscon with 24,000 miles and still saved $1500 going to the other dealership! Lesson learned what a rip off Cardinale GMC really is. I've made sure to inform family and friends to stay clear of Cardinale GMC. read more
