Seaside gmc fixed my issue with no drama and contacted Chevrolet, the result was the engineer asked them to replace both wheel bearings. Watsonville Chevrolet had first chance to fix my noise issue and they said the could not hear anything. The problem is warranty payments to the dealer do not motivate the dealer to fix anything. When I looked at a GMC and contacted this dealership their response was outstanding. I met with sales consultant Omar Nolasco who was extremely nice and patient with me and my questions/ignorance (my last new vehicle was purchased 24 years ago) A lot has changed! They've inspired me to do my first review. Every issue that has come up I try to give Cardinale an opportunity to make it right, but repeatedly the ball has been dropped. Bought an Altima in February. About 2 weeks after purchase the noise I heard when driving home didn't change once I unloaded the car and I dropped the car off on a Sunday so the car could get worked into the service schedule in the early part of the week. I usually only drive Thursdays and Sundays to come help my mom w errands and appointments. I know how Mondays go so wasn't expecting much. When no updates on Tuesday I spoke to a man who told me I didn't drop it off there was no key. He rechecked the night drop and found my key. Then he told me I didn't drop it off until Tuesday. I informed him that I'm quite sure that the only day I had time to drop the car off from Santa Cruz was on Sunday and I didn't skip work to do the drop off. He replied stuff happens. I agreed and wanted to move forward. Another person assisted me and notified me the brakes would be resurfaced. He told me he still heard something, but noticed improvement and to let him know. I got sick , but the next week I left a message in service, but no call back. April I was gone Since then I've been better about getting names. Mid May I reached out to Joey regards to a discrepancy on the plate he gave me Kevin's contact info. I left a message for Kevin. Never got a call back from Kevin. I waited to reach out after Memorial Day. Got a hold of Kevin advising of the discrepancy and that I was now pulled over for expired temp tag. He assured me the discrepancy was likely the plate I was to receive and that the DMV rep will call back. No call back from DMV rep. Left message for Kevin and no call back. My friend thinks the sound I hear was my tires are too big. I've been pulled over multiple times, but have only received a parking ticket for parking by my residence outside the city guidelines. (Registration) In June I receive contact from an investigator with the DMV that informed me there's no title. They inspect the vehicle and tell me it could still be several months before I can register the car. Meanwhile my credit union has been reminding me to put them as lien holder. I explain to them it's been brought to my attention there is a title issue and that I'll contact Cardinale. Left message with Mike for Ryan. No call back. Last week my credit union changed my apr from 4.7 to 18 since I had not added them as leinholder. I reached Ryan about getting pulled over and ongoing title issues. I came by and same day he put the dealer plate on for me and gave me some talking points for the finance company and if I were to get pulled over again. I vented my frustrations and mentioned the noise and the wheels being too big and the rubber shavings collecting on the rim. He took a look and said the 10mm difference doesn't explain the sound I'm hearing. He pointed out the wear on the rear tires, put pressure on the trunk and explained with what we see and the miles it was likely the shocks needing to be replaced. Ryan acknowledged that he did get a note before vacation as he was heading out the door and when he returned the note was gone. We spoke by phone later that Thursday and setup an appointment for it to be serviced and available from open to close the following Friday. I made sure the car was dropped off well before 7am and made sure that envelope dropped. This afternoon I spoke to Julian and he asked for a summary of what was supposed to be done today. I said Ryan in sales set me up to have the shocks replaced. Julian asked if I ordered any parts. I said no I was just supposed to drop off the car. He said he would check if parts were ordered in Ryan's name and get back to me. I missed his call and called back 15 min later and it rang once and went to voicemail. I texted him. A half hour later I left him a vm on the cell. About an hour later I left a vm at his extension. At 5:13 I called and asked reception if Julian was still on site. She advised he was w a customer. I asked her to check the RO for the status. She did not find anything in my name, but that she would give him a note that I called. 5:38 I called Sales and Jr took down a message for Ryan. I asked him to relay I'm frustrated and want some answers. I got the worst deal. read more

Tax and license was DOUBLE what it cost at the DMV plus they wanted $900 for a tracking system they said they put on the used car PLUS $995 for under coating of paint to PROTECT IT FROM THE LOCAL ENVIRONMENT. Really another $1895 for WHAAAAAA? Sales Mgr only talks NEVER listens. All the BS while they rip you for a good three thousand bucks. His delivery drivers are friendly funny and also efficient patient and kind, they are never upset when you need to check in the part and verify fitment or that is the correct part especially with all of the evolution in vehicles and all of the upgrades changes and different options for each style of vehicle it's very important to get the correct one on the first time especially meeting crucial deadlines for insurance companies for collision repairs. The online ordering as far as parts trader is handled by another gentleman Eric ,he is equally awesome! He always make sure that I am receiving the best deal and notes any parts number changes or any crucial information I will need to provide to the insurance companies. Overall the Cardinale establishment has been very predominant in the area & has continued to provide exceptional service to the central coast for years I am very thankful for them and I would suggest holding onto James with every ounce of your grip because he is an absolute asset to your company he is the sole reason that I have completely gave all of my General Motors orders Strictly to Cardinale GMC and I will let you know that it is thousands upon thousands of dollars a year at any repair facility I have ever been at and I will continue to patronize them as long as James is there to help me along the way. I went to ask for help to refinance my car. Instead they told me if I refinanced with them that I will get money reimbursed from the bank it was first finance. Little did I know when I went to collect the money it was not true and they ended up adding sales tax AGAIN! After, my vehicle had a service issue that I reported it back in February 2023. Instead of helping they came up with so many stupid excuses, I continued to call and till this day I haven't gotten my car fixed and they ended up blocking my number after letting me know multiple times that they will make sure it gets done. My wife and I and another couple were just beginning a cycling trip from Monterey to Mexico and our support vehicle's (my 2013 Chevy Volt) drivers side window broke and fell into the door. We had 60 miles to cycle that day and were desperate to get our window fixed asap. After calling several shops we called Cardinale GMC and the service Director Beau Blackwell answered, listened to our plight and told us he would help us out. That's the understatement of the world. Went to DMV on 4/28 for the second time to see what I can do and they were surprised DMV fees weren't paid and was told my temporary was due 3/10/23 and here is May 1st around the corner and DMV has advised me to file a complaint to be able to try to help me. Through my local lender's DMV got Dino's cell to get help and he just wanted to buy more time whenever it happens and didn't care. Not sure what to think at this point on what they did or even if they even know how to do DMV paperwork? According to DMV they have 90 days to get it done and we are around 140 days and car is still not even in my name yet? Based on talking to people around town, I am not the first one that will never buy a car or refer even my enemies to buy a car from them...
