Best pizza in Atlanta! True New York style. Having lived in Manhattan for a decade, I've had a lot of NY style pizza. They are very consistent. Haven't ever had a bad pizza. Every topping combination we've tried is fantastic. I've tried some of their desserts. Tiramisu is very good. I love their fried Oreos. Yes, state fair/boardwalk food, but try them just once. They are so good. This is the only pizza place we go to. We order at least once a month. Also, just a great family owned business of good people that you'll be proud to support. read more

Eating there is ok for one (or two) on a fast lunch but it seems to primarily be a take out joint. They also have frozen personal size pies to go. Save room for desert - tiramisu anyone? read more

As someone who grew up in NY I'm always looking for good pizza. Carlo's is it. The super thin NJ style pizza has the perfect sauce/cheese ratio and the crust is very flavorful. It was cooked perfectly too. They use Grande Cheese which not only is the best cheese available it demonstrates that they care about using the best quality ingredients. I've frequented Carlo's from their original Sweet Auburn Curb Market to their current location in Marietta. The pizza is fantastic. Its very hard to find good NY style in Metro Atlanta. Carlo's and Labella are my go to's. Also, do not sleep on their meatball sub, it's as good as you'll find in the area. read more

I've been an East Cobb resident for 45 years. This area has always had a shortage of pizzerias. I purchased a large sausage pizza & literally could count the toppings. Third time ordering in 3 weeks. Our dinner guests tonight said it was the best pizza they'd had! The large fed 4 people, 2 slices each. I made a big salad to go with it. It was the perfect amount for 4 people with a big salad added. The pieces are huge! Pizza was half spinach, red onion, mushroom and half meatball, red onion, and spinach. Spinach, red onion, and mushroom is my favorite, although I did not sample the meatball. The meatball has shaved, sliced meatballs on it. This time we asked for extra garlic! So good! read more

First time trying Carlos and we're sorry to say that we did not like it. The pizza ($27 for an 18" one-topping) had a crust that was leathery and the cheese and sauce was almost nonexistent. The Mediterranean salad ($9) was exceedingly small and contained no olives, chickpeas, bell peppers, onions or feta cheese or anything else that would normally be in a Mediterranean salad. Being from NJ, trying to find decent pizza in Atlanta has been a big feat. Finally, New Jersey boardwalk pizza is available here. The owner's father had a Wildwood, NJ pizzeria and they have brought the exact recipe and technique down to metro Atlanta. You need to go out of your way to try this pizza, it is thin, crispy, and straight off of the NJ boardwalk! As close to a bar pie as you are going to get outside of New Jersey. read more
