On 1/8/24, we headed to CJs to get a late night meal. Purchased numerous different items including a Guacamole bacon angus burger. As we paid for our items, we checked the receipt and noticed that employee had input the incorrect burger. We informed her that we ordered the guacamole bacon angus burger, she went took back our order and "corrected" it. When we arrived home, ready to enjoy our food. Upon opening our food, we noticed that our burgers were still incorrect and made horribly. This is the 3rd time this CJs have made our orders incorrect even when the business was slow, this is a prime example of poor service due to employee lack of attention to detail. We notified the manager and his response was "what can I do?" As he hung up. How can anyone work in the service industry but yet not want to hold themselves to a higher standard. We were not rude, patiently waited for our food and tried to get our food corrected multiple times but have yet to see an improvement from this establishment. If you're looking for a quick bite to eat, with quality food, a professional and friendly team then do not go to this Carls Jr. I would highly recommend going to the McDonald's next door or Wendy's down the street than paying for low grade food and service. Mistakes are given to be made but when management fails to acknowledge their mistake numerous times and can't be apologetic then that's a concern. This location has got to be one of the worst Carl's Jr restaurants around. 20+ Years ago when I was an apprentice, this was one of my go-to spots while in school. In the last 6-7 years it has declined in service, order accuracy, and food quality, significantly. This place used to always have a line but doesn't now, from what I notice, which I can only assume others have gotten wise to this location too. I have been burned here several times in the last few years and had made a point of not eating at this location but last night after a late meeting and not having dinner, I decided to give it another shot. They failed miserably. I can't blame this store at this point because I knew better and I was dumb enough to give this place my money again. There was only 1 car in the drive-thru and we sat for next to 10 min before they finally got their food. I knew at that point I was so stupid for coming to this location again. I had to wait for my food for a few min and I quickly got back on the road to make my hour drive home. As I started to eat I realized the burger was all wrong. Had there been anyone else in the restaurant or in the drive thru I would have guessed they gave me someone else's order, but there wasn't anyone else there. Besides being wrong, the burger was not hot enough to melt the cheese and it tasted like it was microwaved or warmed up instead of cooked on the broiler. Like I said, I knew better so shame on me. Today was an incredible day visiting Carls Jr. I must give great praise to the drive thru clerk. (Aiden...I'm terribly sorry if I listed your name incorrectly) however recognition deserves to be acknowledged! This gentlemen was outstanding! From the moment I entered the drive thru to the end of driving off, from the drive thru. Again his customer service , courtesy and and professionalism deserves my recognition! I have visited this location and have always had good service but todays service was extremely satisfying! My order was a bit tricky due to having a picky child (lol) but none the less the drive thru clerk was incredibly patient, kind and offered to modify my child's meal! Most fast food locations will hesitate but ultimately satisfy your request, but this gentlemen with out any hesitation what so ever offered to accommodate my child's order! I will again give this gentlemen (Aiden.. if I'm correct , masks being worn make it a little difficult to understand) but incredible service to all who were a part of accommodating my order today! I will definitely recommend this one location to all, I hope will receive the kind and great customer service just as I did today (11/13/2021. Ever eat something and wonder what it tasted like only after it was completely eaten? I like Carl's Jr. For a fast food burger it's really good. So tonight I was hungry, it was late and when the drive thru guy suggested the Diablo Burger, I just went along with it. It starts with a 1/2# burger. Then it's topped with cheese, a habanero sauce that was more like a con queso, two big strips of bacon, and a few jalapeno poppers. I can handle a lot of heat from spicy food. The heat level is sneaky but was only hot for about a minute. Between the sauce, the bacon and the poppers, there was only a flavor of salt and grease. I really couldn't put my finger on what happened. The spiciness was not a factor. I didn't get a drink nor did I feel I needed one. I think I'll just get the usual next time. read more

Today October 17 at 9:00 p.m., I visited Carl's Junior to pick up my order. When I arrived at the drive-thru the first thing I heard was "How can I help you?" I started talking and the guy interrupted me with a "How can I help you?" I don't know if the guy did not hear me. I asked "What was that?" his response was "HOW CAN I HELP YOU?" in a really bad tone, I started feeling uncomfortable. I told him I was there for "the name" HE STARTED LAUGHING and making fun of my pronunciation. English it's not my first language, but I tried hard to learn and be able to speak English. I'm a really big fan of Carl's Junior and this makes me feel like not going there anymore. You can imagine how I felt that night, I even lost my appetite. I tried to get the employee's name but I didn't even have a chance, he just handled the food and closed the window leaving me there confused without knowing that was all my order. This is the reason why so many people never dare to speak in public or try to talk in another language because of people like that, who make fun of the efforts of others. This makes me think about my family who don't speak any English! This location is always a hit or miss. Lacks consistency big time! Carl's Jr. isn't that cheap and if I'm going to be paying double or even sometimes triple what I would pay at other fast food establishments I expect some better service. Usually the burgers I get I will ask for no onions and upon opening I see the onion rings imprinted in the soggy bun. Food is hardly ever fresh. Tried to call this location to see if they did the free Beyond Burger upgrade that was for today only. Called six times. No one ever picked up the phone and it went to voicemail. So, went to the location and ordered the burger with a large drink and a few additional items, I mentioned the special, cashier seemed like they kinda knew what I was talking about, and I got my food fairly quick. This is the absolute worst spot! I went through the drive through and ordered a beyond burger and some fries, the cashier was speaking so fast I couldn't understand or even get a word in, he constantly cut me off, even when I got to the window, and I told him I don't understand him, he said, "well, I'm sorry, I have a mask on" and I said "no it's not that. you're speaking too fast" He then said sorry and then shut the window, about 13 minutes later I got my food, and I asked him if there was spread on it, because I don't want any and I was trying to tell him that but he wouldn't let me get in a single word... so I gave him back the food and another 10 minutes later I got another bag and something told me to check the food, I did and it was completely wrong. Since I am a Chicken Lover, I figured I'd skip the sack lunch today and cheat on my diet with the New 5 oz Chicken Fillet Sandwich. I was very excited and asked the cashier if it was good on the fresh baked bun. Annoyed by my enthusiasm (lol) she replied that she liked it and that it was big. Considering her advice, I passed on the fries and drink. It took ten minutes to get my sandwich and "wow" what a disappointment!! This sandwich was no where near the hype commercials made it out to be. Wendy's spicy chicken kills this peewee chick. Not only was the chicken small but also my bun was burnt to a crisp. Literally black ( see photo). I took two bites and the chicken was so dry that I had to stop and redeem for another item. No flavor, no special sauce, sadly just a 2.5 oz dried out chicken, lettuce and burnt bread. The cashier gladly exchanged it for my favorite; Teriyaki Turkey Burger. As usual it was flavorful, low in calories and cooked properly. I gave this experience a 3 due to the terrible new chicken sandwich and the water dispenser on the fountain drink not working. Well it gets 2 stars cause the workers were really nice. The lady that handed me the food reminded me a little of Patrice from How I met your mother. Just a happy person. The food however looked like it was dropped on the floor and picked back up and wrapped thrown in a bag and handed to me. I ordered more than I am picturing because it is a fast food place and most likely this review will not help warn many people from eating here. The fries were warm but super soggy the burger that I got was the standard famous star and reminded me of the .99 burgers from the 90's. I have not been impressed with fast food lately. My food was perefectly prepared and the front end staff were kind. But, I confess, my main reason forgoing in was to use the wifi to contact a car service.
