The cashier was having none of that and remained persistent to get my order- I was being rushed. After placing my order I was expecting my total to be around 8 dollars but the total was 10 dollars, I shook that off but really felt unwelcome. After getting my food I noticed 3 missing items. Drink, fries, and cookie. After asking that same cashier she simply said you didn't order right. I had asked that without the drink cookie or fries and paid more? I gotta say this is easily my favorite Carl's Jr in Riverside County, perhaps in SoCal. The vibes are immaculate, in a way that feels indescribable. This location feels like if Hideo Kojima made a Carl's Jr which sounds crazy I'm aware but that's the only way I can describe it. The food here is genuinely great though for Carl's Jr, the Jalapeno poppers are always fresh out of the fryer and the double western bacon is wonderful here, always fresh tasting, and the service is always great. read more

Carl's Jr was never my go to place but this Carl's Jr has had me coming back as I have a good experience every time.The ambience is one of comfort without luxury. The murals inside look fabulous. The set up of the tables are nice and feels very open as well as inviting. All this combined makes this place makes me feel very comfortable. I have been here a quite a few times now and overall they have great service. I have noticed that the manager Dora is on the workers and not only does she lead them she helps them clean which I believe are good leadership skills. The cashiers have been great and have let me know about certain deals or meals they have going on at the time. One cashier I have noticed in particular has been Esmeralda. She has a great spirit everytime I go in along with a good smile. She is very generous with giving me time to order and making sure everything comes out right. I see her cleaning dining quite often making sure there is clean areas to eat and a clean walkway, which leads me to believe they are pretty hygienic. The food has been pretty delicious. Every time I order the guacamole bacon burger combo the taste of the guacamole and bacon never seem to fail me. The guacamole stands out to me because it is just what I'm looking for when I think of guacamole.The portions are great as well. The food is filling and I have never had a problem with any of it. I will definitely keep coming here and recommend it to anyone if they consider going to Carl's Jr. read more

Went in today to try their new coffee, and it was super good! I haven't been to carl's jr in a while because of a bad experience at another location, but this location was amazing! The food is horrible but on top of that the managers berate the employees they have and make them feel incompetent mostly because they hire Spanish speaking employees. During my time here I was told I was dumb, stupid, and given 4 hours a week because they hire so many people and give them less than 8 hours so they don't have to pay any benefits. While making the cookie ice cream sandwich a manager yelled at me and said "you're so dumb would you eat a sandwich that touched the plastic? It doesn't look good!" The other manager at the time was a woman with a blind blue eye going out on maternity leave watched and let it happen. They bullied us so much that I had to leave without notice for my mental health. I would refuse to eat here because if they treat their employees this way how do you think those abused employees are handling your food. read more

I usually don't eat fast food, but I came here for a quick bite to eat. As soon as I walked in....I had some black security guard staring me up and down (I'm black). I was thinking "what the hell is his problem." Anyway, I order my food in a quick fashion and the the two service counter employees were very nice and professional (a white girl and tall black male with Afro like hair). The Hispanic female with the large neck tattoo in the back that was cooking the French fries, was very unprofessional!! I got my food and got the hell up out of there. The food was ok. The fun thing about this Carl's Jr. Is it's kind of like a wild card. You're never certain of what you're going to get, other than the fact that whatever it is will be terrible. However, they always find new and interesting ways to surprise you. With Carl's Jr., You're paying more. You're paying more because they are supposed to be offering a better product. You pay restaurant prices because they can give you something similar in a relatively quick fast food fashion. What you get, however is anything other than this. They will find any opportunity to give you the wrong order. All you have to do is give them money, and watch as the missing ingredients, missing items, or unwanted ingredients roll in. There have been so many orders that they have messed up on, that at this point I'm just writing a review and deciding to never go back. I highly suggest you guys do the same. This review is about my most recent order. I ordered via Grubhub (Which is the only way you can get them to remove cheese). Any other food delivery service is blocked from this. I asked for "NO cheese please on the Western Bacon Burger. Very allergic. Please ADD mayo." I received two Western Bacon Burgers, complete with cheese and mayo. This definitely isn't the first time they've done this, and I'm thinking if you decide to go against my advice and order, write it something like this. "NO CHEESE NO CHEESE NO CHEESE NO CHEESE YOU'RE FUCKING STUPID NO CHEESE NO CHEESE NO CHEESE NO CHEESE" You might want to copy and paste that a few times in there just to be sure. Regardless, after my incident, I wanted to make sure the supervisor knew what was happening, so I did what any logical person would do and I called the restaurant. I was greeted by a female, and I asked to speak to the supervisor. She didn't say "okay" or "sure one moment", she instead wanted to get as much information from me about why I was calling. What is this about, what happened, etc. She then said one moment, and then proceeded to hang up on me. While this was upsetting, I figured no biggy. I'll call back and get it sorted out. I then get greeted by a male who asks me to hold on. I stay on hold for 15 minutes before giving up, contacting corporate, and writing this yelp review. I've had incorrect orders, I've had expired products, I've had them unable to follow custom instructions, and I've most certainly had enough. Carl's Jr. on University isn't a Carl's Jr. it may look like a Carl's, even sell their products, but it does not act like one, conduct it's self like one, and it definitely isn't worth your time or headache. If the supervisor / boss of this store reads this review, I hope this is the first time you've had this complaint. Because if multiple people are telling you this and you've done nothing about it, don't expect that Carl's Jr. Brand Label to carry you very much further when you have workers like that. Maybe before hiring people you should give them that cube with shapes on it that we all played with when we were kids and ask them to fit each shape into the corresponding hole. Famous Star Burger is All time favorite!!! I always Drive Thru on the way home but decided to meet my hubby there and eat in instead. Time was 6:30 pm Wednesday night and Dining room was clean but this location has it's fair share of Pan handlers approaching the patrons. This is a big downer for me. Although they have a security guard on site its a pain to have dismiss the pan handlers not to mention getting the key to use the restroom. I get it but I won't be dining inside anymore. The place is usually packed between 11 and 1 with people on jury duty, since its so close to the courthouse. If i had to choose one word to describe the people who work at this carls jr..... NO STARS!!!!!!!! I would be completely ashamed of myself if I worked at this location. The employees just mope around as if many of the problems with this restaurant are no big deal. No cup lids (the cashier handed me a stack as if it was my job to replace them), no ketchup (Came for breakfast, No ketchup, came for lunch, no ketchup). Understanding this is a popular "Quick" solution for jurors (which is why I've been here quite often) on lunch, it gets pretty packed in here. With that being said, you would think Management would staff properly, or at least have some employees that were worth a damn. They use a number system to bring you your food, handing you a number and writing your number on your food tray..... So why would the food runner need to ask occupants what they ordered, when they clearly have a matching number written on the tray?! Not being able to read numbers on the table causes the employee to walk in circles with your food, then leaving it on the counter to sit and get cold while you wait for them to ask where it goes. And to make it worse these stack food trays on top of each other..... With outgoing food still on each tray. Just dirty! I also posted a picture of the Spill/Excess liquid trough. Forearm deep of soda and ice just sitting there. It blows my mind that an employee would not fix that before it overflows. Placing outgoing food trays on a counter with a bucket of sanitizer just sitting there. Shut this place down!!! 90% of my visits I've had an issue. Today for instance, I ordered a breakfast combo at 9:03. There were maybe five people in the dinning area and maybe one person behind me in line. I sit at a table with my ipad, reading emails... 9:15 rolls around and I realize it's been a while. I walk up and complain. The employee says something to the people in the back and instantly my sandwich was ready.... So had I not said anything would I have waited all day for my food??! I then came back for lunch, having to kill an hour and a half, it's the best place in the area to sit down with some wifi( only good thing about this place). I ordered a small drink, spicy chicken sandwich, and a single burger special ordered. After waiting for ten minutes, I see an employee come by with a spicy chicken sandwich. I told her I had ordered another burger. She then comes back with what I had not gotten the first time, I then realize my spicy chicken sandwich was special ordered( not what I had asked for).
