Came back and got the Chicken Alfredo again, this time to go. Just as good as I remembered it. Huge portion, plenty of chicken, and the Alfredo was perfect. Definitely becoming my go-to order here. 5 stars this time.

Came here for dinner. The atmosphere is more like a cafeteria. It's extremely loud once it fills up. We ordered the Caprese flatbread as an appetizer.air came out quickly and was okay. we also ordered a bottle of Chianti, which came in a screw bottle, didn't taste anything like a chianti. Waitress was kind enough to offer w us to oh i another bottle of wine. we then selected a California Cabernet, Waitress stated that it was a new wine and came back and told us that they did not have it yet! Why put it in the wine menu if you don't have it. we decided on an Argentinian Cabernet, which turned out to be very tasty. For our mains we ordered a 6 oz filet with potatoes and a cesar salad, a 8 oz filet medium rare with GOB pasta and a strip steak medium rare with potatoes. We were serve a bread basket before the mains. The bread was stale! when our mains were served they had brought two 6oz filets, instead of one 6 oz and one 8 oz filet. when we brought it to our waitress attention she quickly offered to have it fixed and advised us that it would take 12 minutes. Not sure why it would take 12 minute to make a 8oz filet medium rare. she then brought a new one after 18 minutes . The filet was cooked to a medium. Brought it to the waitress's attention and she offered to have it done again, which we declined as we were already fine with dinner. she then offered to take 50%off the filet. overall the food was okay, We had much higher expectations since it's suppose to be a steak house. The steaks were okay and that's the bottom line.

Had a really good experience here! Portions were large, food was flavorful, atmosphere was fun and casual, and our service was amazing!!! Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was the tomatoes on the caprese bread were a bit mushy. For someone who likes that though, it was probably fine! I just prefer mine cold and crisp!

We stopped here about 5 hours into a 7 hour road trip. Got a reservation through yelp, (that was so helpful) arrived about 10 min early, so we had to wait for a short bit. We got lucky with parking, as someone was leaving just as we pulled in. The place was packed, and it was a little loud. Most normal people could probably have a conversation, but my family has low voices, so we said what, alot. Nikki was our server, and I think she was working 10 tables or more! Somehow she still managed to stay on top of our drinks and check in as the meal progressed. We all agreed that the food was very good. However a few things were outstanding. My hubby thought the Limon Surf and Turf was very different, and he loved it. I loved the potatoes. Great flavor and texture. My kiddo enjoyed the ravioli, and she was pleasantly surprised by the portion size. My special had perfectly cooked asparagus, and the pasta side was also something I would recommend. The one thing I would have liked to see is an upgrade in the coffee offered. We love a good americano after a nice meal.

Came in again to find an updated menu. Love some of the new choices. It was all so good that we forgot to take pictures. One of the newer items we loved was the risotto filet. The steak was So tender and delicious. The risotto was a mushroom saffron and had amazing flavor. We also had some of our old favorite like the ribeye, shrimp appetizer, and carpaccio. Tiramisu made in house. So good. Service was great as always. Such a clean and well designed space. Always love coming here and will be back soon.

I came here for a brunch since I'd only had it once before but remembered it was so good. This time, I sat at the bar (got there a little after 10:30), so there was ample space. I was immediately given water and a drink and food menu. I had an idea of what I wanted (steak hash) but also wanted to try the biscuits because I remembered them being so good. When I inquired on getting a single biscuit, she said that wasn't an option and suggested an alternative method. I still got the hash but ended up getting a side of sourdough instead. Drink wise, I went with a pineapple mimosa. Sitting at the bar does have its perks, aka, I got my drink rather quickly. She was quite generous with the pour and it always makes a difference when there's more champagne than juice. After a short while, my food arrived and once it was put in front of me, I knew I made the right choice. While I don't see it often, I thought it was cool how they had my steak labeled with how it's supposed to be cooked. It's a small detail that often gets overlooked, especially when it comes to steak. The dish itself was perfect except holy potatoes! I don't think I've ever seen so many come with a dish! I woofed down my eggs per usual and savored each bite of my perfectly cooked steak. The combination of the that, plus the 1 1/2 pcs of toast left very little room for the potatoes. I couldn't have been more impressed with the stellar service, the great food, and how friendly the bartender was. I'll for sure be back

We live in the neighborhood, and decided to walk down for Brunch this Sunday. Everything was fabulous we walked right in, got served drinks right away! I had a Mimosa with orange juice + an Irish Coffee both 10/10! I had the Hilltop Omelette, and my fiancé had the Steak Hash I cannot tell you how amazing both were. We ordered a pancake with a side of fruit, and sausage for our 2 year old Daughter she was a fan. We will plan a night for dinner next as I would like to try the Lobster Risotto + Arancini!

Two ribeye steaks, one with a potato the other with pasta. Both awesome.

When you walk in the restaurant has exposed brick some older architecture, it's a larger space which helps conversation because you don't feel like you're on top of the next table. The food was excellent, ribeye and pasta were great. Service also matched the vibe, wait staff was attentive, professional, and had great energy. Loved this place!

We stopped here for brunch on Father's Day, so it was pretty busy. Fortunately, we had a reservation. The service was slow for us, but we weren't in a hurry. A lot of the local brunch places are like that, and that's usually fine, because it gives us a chance to visit. I'm not usually a steak person, but I thought the steak hash was pretty good. My friend also enjoyed the steak and eggs. They don't have quite the variety of some other brunch places, so you'll definitely want to check the menu to see if it's the right fit.

Early Anniversary dinner!! Decided to try a Steak Place on The Hill. The place is very happening and busy! The Lemon Drop Martini was one of the Best I have had! The Arancini were good but a bit dry. The Wedge Salad is highly recommended!! Fresh and the dressing and Bleu Cream Crumbles with the Bacon!! Perfect! Me and the Hubby split the Bone in Ribeye and Carnivore Potatoes. Very good.

The quality has not wavered once. I ordered what I always order: The Combo (fried eggs, maplewood smoked bacon, cheese, brioche toast), extra egg, extra bacon. Most kitchens treat a fried egg as binary (runny or ruined). Songbird has mastered the middle register: lacy edges with a yolk that stays glossy and intact right up until the first bite. I ordered them over hard, and they came out a bit closer to over medium, but they were just as good as I wanted them to be. The bacon carries real smoke. This is a decadent sandwich, big enough that half of it would make a light breakfast; I wasn't remotely hungry after one, the second half was indulgent. The service made the move too. The hostess still recognizes returning customers, and the bigger room finally lets the dining experience breathe. The service at the table could have been a little warmer as we've had it the past, but it is still professional. I was there with two close college buddies, one of whom declared his latte excellent. I keep meaning to get adventurous with the menu, but it is genuinely hard to find a bacon, egg, and cheese toasted this perfectly, and I'd go twice in one day if given the opportunity. 4.8 A full five arrives the day when I can arrive first thing on a Saturday without a 30 minute wait, honestly, it's hard to get a reservation here because of its popularity. Good for them. Cheers to you, Songbird. Dolly would be proud

*Not accessible *Not kid friendly…read more This location has a lot of improvements to be made. The menu is bland and they deter you from making modifications. I wanted my toast's jam to be on the side and they said no. It was a thick tasteless brick without the jam. The items are not as traditional for a breakfast spot, and when I asked the server what they were known for she said the drinks.... They also run a tight turnaround time so they will make you feel uncomfortable when its time to clear your table and pay the bill because they will tell you the next reservation is in 5minutes. The plates were all different and my guest who got a sandwich had her food come out in a plastic fry basket instead of the nicer plates. Odd. As I mentioned earlier, they are not kid friendly as they don't have a kids menu or kid friendly items like fruit and pancakes. We ordered a side of avocado and chicken sausage as those were the safest for us. Also there are no changing tables in the restrooms. Accessibility note: the entrance is a giant multi-slope and 1 turn ramp into a cramped lobby. The men's restroom is the only one on the main floor and female restroom is tucked far in the backroom inaccessible due to a steep step in the back. It is not wheelchair or walker friendly.

We tried to come on a Saturday after visiting the Gateway Arch, heartbroken that they were CLOSED! No sign on the door, so we had to figure out a backup option. It's a small diner with patio situation and we were informed there would be a wait which was fine with us. We were quickly sat at the (covered) patio on a gorgeous sunny day and enjoyed the views of people walking to see a game at Busch Stadium. Kelly was a wonderful server! Both the Bloody Mary and the Espresso Martini were excellent! The deviled eggs were a delicious appetizer. Hands down though, that biscuit breakfast sandwich was what breakfast dreams are made of! Kelly recommended the sausage which was rich and flavorful. The over-medium egg was perfection! Potatoes were well seasoned and mouthwatering. We were pleasantly surprised they weren't super busy, selfishly it was nice, but I hope it's not always like that because they deserve the hype. We sat at the bar and had great service the whole time. We started with a house made Bloody Mary (it had fantastic flavor) and an espresso martini (should we say the best in the city???). A piece of candied bacon came on the Bloody Mary and I'm still thinking about it. Then the food. I got a cheeseburger and fries and it was freaking fantastic. So juicy and tender, tons of flavor, one of the top burgers in St. Louis in my opinion. My husband got a special which was a braised beef Benedict and he was VERY happy. He likes a good burger and still said his meal was the best. They plate everything so beautifully, this is like a high class culinary experience in a (clean diner) with great prices. And the small menu is very preferred because it doesn't take you an hour to decide. And the fries - so fresh and crispy. This place deserves all the love. I was so impressed with it, it doesn't look like much from the outside but it is so worth it.

Whether it is the quaintly appointed guest…read morerooms or the delightful library and parlor, each area of this former residence is unique and meticulously maintained. While it is not likely the norm, the owners, Mark & Leslie, met us at the front door, quite literally inviting us into their establishment. It was simply the most welcoming manner in which to be introduced to this treasure and Leslie quickly engaged us with the history of the home and how she and Mark had recently become the owners. We chose this destination based upon the significance of the Fleur-de-lis to my love, a native New Orleanian. Given St. Louis' rich French heritage, the mansion was originally outfitted with four chimneys that feature the fleur-de-lis design and the pattern is repeated throughout the home. While we enjoyed a quiet morning coffee in the back of the property, a lovely shaded patio area, she noticed how many places the symbol was present. She actually made mention to Mark & Leslie that they could make an activity out of counting/finding all of the fleur-de-lis around the home. What a fun idea! We were fortunate enough to book the Tower Grove Park room, a spacious room fitted with a king-size bed and a two-person jacuzzi tub. There is even a 'fainting couch' for that extra French touch! The bed was amazingly comfortable and the decor and accoutrements were exceptional, right down to the pocket doors and writing desk. But a B&B is set apart by the fare served in the morning, and this is where Mark, a chef by trade, and Leslie, a self-taught baker, knock it out of the park. That morning's menu included a fruit starter, fresh juice, Leslie's home-baked sourdough toast and home-baked English muffins, and Mark's egg and sausage soufflés with country potatoes. The entire breakfast had us completely over the moon! We felt so at home that we wanted to clear our own place - so we did! The rates are competitive and well worth every moment spent here. There is parking behind the property, as well as across from the property, and each guest is allowed a unique security code so as to gain entry while you are enjoying your stay. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed this getaway, and Mark, Leslie, & assistant Sammy made us feel like family from the moment we crossed the threshold. We'll be back - and you should give Fleur-de-Lys a try!
