Had a great experience here. I got an iced caramel latte with oat milk and it was good! A bit on the sweet side, but I personally like that. The ambiance is really nice but there isn't a ton of seating per se. The place can get full quick. Nevertheless, I still recommend trying it out. The WiFi don't require a password and it worked great. Had zero issues.

Absolutely love this spot! Dog friendly, validated parking available in their garage, indoor and outdoor seating, one of my favorite matchas.

Stopped by the carpenter coffee bar the other day for the first time. The place is so aesthetically pleasing. The barista quickly got to work with our drinks and made such a cute and tasty cappuccino for me. Seating is a little limited here and most people are just on their laptops working. Not really a place if you want to sit inside and have a conversation but they do have a patio I believe you can sit out.

Blueberry Lemon Scone & Ladybird Latte

I walked in and was immediately welcomed with a cozy but elevated coffee bar lounge. I was greeted with a friendly welcome. I got the massive blueberry lemon scone and Ladybird latte. It was all for a great price. The total was about $11 for both and it was so worth. The scone had an amazing balance of crisp and fluffy texture. The flavors were amazing too (if you can't tell, I'm still dreaming of this scone). The Ladybird latte was refreshing and wasn't too sweet. The orange zest was a wonderful touch and is quite addicting. Definitely ordering again. The lounge area is spacious and comfortable too. Such a cute area. Returning 100% and could not recommend enough!

Maybe cause I just threw away a bad coffee from once over or whatever it's called. This one was delicious ! Sweet potato latte was done right and good art. Nice place with different areas and seating. I'd go again cool vibe popular place.

This coffee bar has been on my list for so long! Took a long walk around lady bird and stopped in for some coffee and a snack. Such a calming vibe inside and kind staff. Loved the laid back sitting area -- not noisy at all like some coffee shops, and lots of solo people working, or on laptops! Entire hotel grounds are super cute. Can't wait to come back and try the restaurant! Came around noon on a Saturday and not too busy at all. Recommend!

Cute lil cafe located in a hotel lobby selling beverages, treats, and eats. I came when it was pouring rain outside so it was absolutely packed. They were able to seat me at a neighboring hotel though :) Matcha Latte ($5.5) was wonderful. Staff is very accommodating. Good Wi-Fi.

Great place to lounge and have coffee. Does monthly events related to vinyl. Coffee was decent. Note that this is connected to a hotel. Not too crowded even on weekends. Parking can be difficult though. The interior is decorated as what I could best describe as transitional.

I've never seen a hotel coffee bar this busy, every day. We stayed at the Carpenter Hotel during our most recent visit to Austin for four nights, and the Carpenter Coffee Bar is located in the Carpenter Hotel Lobby, on Josephine Street across from P. Terry's. Every day, morning and evening, the coffee bar was lively. There's a really spacious seating area with couches, comfy chairs, and a counter spot with stools, along with free wifi, but it gets crowded often and easily. The espresso is provided by Jo's Coffee, part of the bunkhouse family (I think I saw La Colombe beans, but don't quote me), and they have all of the alternative milks available (yes, including oat milk). As they're open all day from 7am, they also have espresso martinis, with an espresso martini happy hour from 4-6pm. Aside from the coffee and espresso drinks, they have lots of pastries, including croissants, bagels, turnovers, overnight oats, chia seed pudding (my favorite), an egg sandwich, and a couple breakfast taco options, too. Staying in the hotel ? Feel free to take the food/drinks back to your room - everything is served to-go.

Paid $24 for 2 latte's and a cream cheese bagel. It was alright but we paid for larges and got mediums.

Great seating options inside and outside - little enclave of relaxing coffee in the heart of the city. They must've changed their chai brand since - this one is not as flavorful - and they also rushed to prepare it so not steaming the milk enough to serve it real hot.

A perfect place to be productive. A cozy space to grab a good latte and hunker down. We ordered the ladybird latte, which has some strong citrus notes with a hint of rosemary. If you're not a fan of orange, we're confident their other coffees are stellar. Maybe we'll try some of their breakfast foods next time. There's plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. Need a visual break? The hotel is well-decorated, with aesthetic merch to look at! Ordered: Ladybird Latte (orange blossom + rosemary)

A cute little spot that's well decorated and inviting. We came by on a late Friday morning and the seats inside were taken up by people working on their laptops. The outside tables were more free, and we were able to relax in the shade of the umbrellas. I got a chai doughnut and a Lady Bird latte. The latte was delicious but I honestly forgot what the special ingredients were. We were also a little disappointed that the tacos were already sold out, but the doughnut was lovely and fluffy.

We waited maybe 15 minutes at the walk-in line as others progressively started to pile on behind us. Then again, even people in the reservation line were waiting. This is definitely the kind of place that wants you to wait. The kind of place that wants to build a line outdoors to intrigue onlookers. We were treated nicely, but we definitely could have gotten in right away. By the time we walked in, the place was probably at 60% capacity. It was standing room only at the bar, but not overcrowded by any means. There is a dress code, but it's not entirely clear what it is. Some guy dressed to the 9s got turned away for not having sleeves whereas I got in with sneakers and a t-shirt. They ask for your cellphones upon entering and give you a key in exchange, but there doesn't seem to be any security to enforce it if you don't want to give them up. I have no problem with their policy, but I bet a lot of customers do. Interestingly, their little social experiment seemed to have a positive effect, where we ended up talking to strangers and vice versa. The Powder Room may be making America social again.

Well, we didn't have a reservation and we were able to get sat right away. I forget the name of the individual who assisted us by placing our order. I ended up getting the espresso martini, and then my other person got an old-fashioned. I was asked if I wanted a shot of Bailey's with the espresso martini and that to me would've been way too much. The martini itself was almost kind of smoky. Not your typical kind of very crisp espresso martini had a nice foam on top of it. We also ended up ordering the sliders to go along as we had dinner reservations, and that bacon jam on there is magnificent. The sliders were all juicy and very well put together bun was very soft and the flavor of everything was really good. I would totally go back just for the sliders. Overall the service was great. The views were also quite stunning of downtown and the ambience overall which is very chill. When we arrived, we were asked for a credit card, which was confusing since the experience was already paid for. My husband asked our server what the prepaid experience included and was told it came with "2 pairings," so we reasonably assumed that meant two drinks each. At the end of the night, we were presented with an additional $80 bill. When we questioned this, the manager explained that the prepaid "pairings" were actually just small pieces of truffle chocolate meant to accompany drinks, and that the prepaid price was for the chocolate and "access" to the Valentine's Day menu -- not the drinks themselves. None of this was clearly explained upfront, and the wording of "2 pairings" is misleading. Had we understood that the $60 per person covered only chocolate and menu access, we would have made a different decision. What was meant to be a special Valentine's surprise ended up feeling confusing and disappointing due to poor communication. Clearer explanations and transparency would go a long way.

Located off Anderson Mill in the corner of a strip mall is a bookshelf with a door on the right side. If you cannot figure out the entrance, there is a doorbell to ring as well. I believe it is owned by the same people who own The Mill bar right next door, which makes it feel like a cool bonus space. My friend and I sat next to a faux fireplace, where we were greeted by the only bartender working and placed our order. Once he opened the tab, it was disappointing that he never came back to check if we wanted another drink. It wasn't super busy on the Monday we went, but since he was the only one manning the bar, the bartender was always doing something, so I don't blame him fully for not checking back in with us. I ordered a drink called the Velvet Vice. It looked nothing like the picture and tasted similar to an Aviation cocktail with egg whites. I happened to really like it. It is a very relaxed space, but once the speakeasy gimmick wears off, it does not have much else going for it. It is still a cool place, but I am not sure it was worth the lengthy drive to get there.
