Shrimp & Scallop Linguine Alla Vodka. Sautéed shrimp and sea scallops tossed with basil in our tomato vodka cream sauce - Delicious

Had a party of five for a farewell lunch for a coworker. Everyone enjoyed the service, and the food. Friendly staff, good service, and good food made for a great farewell luncheon.

An extremely busy day turned into no one wanting to cook dinner. Therefore, we ended up at Carrabba's Italian Grill, located on Research Blvd. near Duval Road. It is an unassuming Italian restaurant that has a family feel. The restaurant has somewhere between modern flare and traditional Italian persona. We ordered spaghetti and meat sauce and salmon and broccoli. The spaghetti and meat sauce was a generous portion - enough for two people. The salmon was sized for one person. Both entrees came with one other side. We chose a garden salad and sausage and lentil soup. The garden salad was fresh and crisp. The sausage and lentil soup was hearty and expertly flavored. The meals also came with bread along olive oil and herbs...perfect accompaniment. A number of promotions were happening at Carrabba's. They have a daily happy hour 4-6 pm with $8 bites, $8 cocktails, $25 sangria pitchers, $6 premium spirits and $3 draft beer. In addition, they had a promotion where you could pay $10 to take an entrée home with you, if you purchased an entree in the restaurant. Carrabba's was hosting a silent auction with some of the proceeds going to a non-profit. Net, net, a lot going on... Our server, Amber, was very attentive and kept checking on us to see if we needed anything. She also brought "to go" boxes and a bag for us. Overall, a hearty and filling meal...

Oh this place is soooo good. I love their house salad and the fried zucchini! It's a little more on the pricier side but worth it and the ambiance is a little more upscale. The bread and oil is a great freebie too! They also have nights a few times a month with a proximity fixe menu with wine pairings that looks super fun for $60 pp!

Wanted some Italian food and some good bread. Unfortunately, my last experience was kind of far from that. Ambiance: Walking up to the restaurant I've notice some changes since the last time I've eaten here. There was a nice crowd during my 8p visit and service was running smoothing...until. Service: There were several employees that was just standing around the kitchen area while several tables were still dirty from the last party. Next, the bus boy that was supposedly cleaning the tables was using an old towel/rag with no bucket to rinse. In addition, he was using the same towel/rag to wipe the tables and chairs instead of separate towel/rag. Next, my waiter came to my table to table greet me with any drinks. I decided on just water and another waiter came back to bring the water and bread and spilled the water on the table and the chair and did not come back to clean it up. Next, the waiter came back to take my order and did not ask if I wanted more bread or water. After that, the waiter did not show back up until it was time to pay for my meal. Food: Overall, the food was just okay. It wasn't bad and it wasn't that great since the last time I've gone. The bread is still really good however, my waiter seems to lack on the replacement of bread at the time of service. In addition, I was giving false advertisement by the menu. See the picture below to what was shown to what was given. Finally, would recommend visiting this establishment. Honestly, there would be some hesitation due to mainly the lack of customer service. I wish them the best in the future but there are some improvements that need to be made before my next visit.

It's a good place for some Italian food. It's reasonable and the quality of the food is good for a chain restaurant.

Love the food. They always start you off with the bread and olive oil dip. Just don't eat too much and get full on the bread while you wait. It wasn't a busy Sunday evening, but the server was friendly but super slow. Appeared to be new. I always get the Chicken Marsala with sautéed spinach. It's my fav. I noticed on Wednesdays they have a wine pairing, which looked great! Definitely have to come back to try the wine pairing events.

Wow! I've always heard of Carrabba's, but never had one close enough to us to try out. We finally went to Austin today and we were in the mood for Italian food! I was excited to check this place out. We stopped in for lunch and it wasn't too busy yet thankfully. The restaurant was decorated beautifully decorated and felt welcoming. Our server, Steven was phenomenal! Truly, he was one of the friendliest, most attentive servers we've ever had. He knew exactly what to suggest when we had asked for recommendations and did NOT disappoint! The food was really great and tasted very fresh. The portions are also a good size, unlike Outback which I was disappointed with recently. We ordered a few different items to try out and all were very good! They have great lunch specials with many options. I packaged up leftovers as everything was filling, but I'm still thinking about the cannoli cake I had seen and wishing I had gotten a slice to go! Thank you, Steven! We will be back again for sure to try out other dishes and get that cake!

Ordered through a delivery app, so I can't testify to the customer service. Although my driver was running late (due to traffic) so the food was cold but omgeeee this was theeee best lasagna I've had outside of my own lol This was my first time trying lentils...it wasn't nasty but I should've gotten the salad.

Oof this place was overwhelmingly bland. I would categorize it with your (what used to be) mid-tier restaurants: Olive Garden, Macaroni Grill, Maggiano's. Of course nothing is made from scratch, so expectations are lower, but this was just bad. Especially for the price point. Like most restaurants nowadays, you'll likely spend $20+ per person for entrees alone. We spent $70 before tip and the food just didn't make sense for that price point. Will definitely not be revisiting. On the bright side, service was quick. No wait to dine on a Saturday night. Plenty of parking in a regular parking lot. Good variety on the menu and pretty straight forward. FOOD RATINGS: - Appetizer trio (2/5): The only redeeming factor on this was the stuffed mushrooms. Decent flavor. Lukewarm, though. Everything else was extremely bland. Tasted fresh out of a microwave. - Caesar salad (1/5): I didn't know caesar salad could be so tasteless! The only pro was the lettuce was fresh and crisp. But the dressing had 0 flavor and tasted like straight mayo that had sat in the fridge too long. - Lobster ravioli (1/5): Similar to Trader Joe's raviolis. Mushy and fake flavor. Sauce was okay. - Shrimp and scallop vodka pasta (not pictured, 1/5): The most watery "cream" sauce I've ever seen. All of the shrimp and scallops were rubbery/chewy and overcooked. I know they're frozen but come on. Looks nothing like the menu picture, of course. Only nice thing was portion was huge.

We came here for lunch. The food was so big that I had to eat it both lunch and dinner! Awesome waitress, very chill. We got recommended this place from one of my co-workers. Around $15-25 per person. Coming here again for the food!

The food was absolutely delicious, and the portions were generous! The customer service was fantastic; everyone was attentive, helpful, and really engaged, especially our waitress. We celebrated two birthdays at once, and it turned out to be a wonderful experience. The calamari, bruschetta, and mozzarella sticks with marinara were incredibly tasty. I was truly impressed by all the food!

My boyfriend and I just came here for a date and I would not recommend it service is terrible. We got our complimentary water and no one asked us if we wanted drinks I had to ask 20 minutes later because the server wouldn't even let me get a word in.. by the time we got our doctor pepper it looked really watered down and the fountain machine was obviously out of it he came back and just said he was sorry about that and I was right it is out. Onto the appetizer we got mozzarella sticks the middle was cold. The food was alright I just ended up wanting to leave after all of that.

    Chicken Marsala
    Mahima U.

I was impressed with the service and ambience, the place is clean too. The food isn't that pleasing though, we tried the chicken marsala and shrimp and scallop linguine and the both of them tasted alright. Didn't gave me that true italian flavours. It's not like they messed up some spice or it was overcooked/undercooked etc, but the overall flavor didn't appeal to me that much. Parking will never be a problem .

Lentil soup is very good and pretty filling.

The house salad with honey bacon is a must, the oysters are consistently fresh and incredible, and the Pappadeaux platter never disappoints. Unfortunately, this visit was a rare miss on service , slow all around, no refills, and they were out of several staples. It was frustrating because the service here is usually just as good as the food. We're not giving up on this place, one off night won't undo years of great experiences, but hopefully just a fluke. About 5-7 minutes go by and nothing. We started eating the crackers at the table because we were hungry. A male waiter nearby noticed we had not been helped so he brought us menus and said Ashley was our waitress and he would see where she was. Another 10 minutes go by and nothing. We noticed an Ashley nearby waiting on the 3 tables surrounding us and she never acknowledged us. She showed 1 table some dessert options, she assisted another table with to go containers, and checked on the other after they received their food. All while walking right passed our table multiple times. I kept looking around and we were about to walk out when Mark, another waiter, stopped to check in on us. He apologized about the wait. He said Ashley was our waitress but he would get our drink order started. I thanked him and told him we were actually ready to order. He then asked what we would like. We placed our drink order and food order. Mark was very friendly and professional. He said his tables were elsewhere but he would be taking over our table too. I was glad to hear. I'm not sure if this was a miscommunication issue or what but it seemed that everyone nearby knew we were at Ashley's table but Ashley herself. Interestingly enough, after the 3 tables near us cleared out, so did Ashley. We didn't see her again. Kudos to Mark!! He was observant and noticed we hadn't been helped and jumped right in. If it wasn't for Mark we were going to walk out and dine elsewhere. A manager even stopped by to apologize. He heard what happened and offered us a free dessert. He checked in against later to see how things were. Mark and the manager are a 10/10. The food was just okay. A bit over priced for the quality and portion. The bread was dry. 7/10 The Ceasar salad was so good! 10/10

Turns out there's one in Fort Worth, so not quite the discovery we thought it was, but no complaints there. The vibe is exactly what you'd expect - nautical without being cheesy, casual enough to walk into after a long evening without feeling out of place. Our server was bubbly and genuinely great, which set a nice tone from the start. We started with two appetizers. The Wonton Tuna Tacos were solid - we did the cilantro and pineapple salsa on the side, which probably cost us something since it's clearly built into the dish, but they still held up. The real standout was the Crispy Rice Cakes with spicy tuna. The crunch, the fish, the spicy mayo - I could have eaten a full plate of those without blinking. The Strawberry Surfer cocktail was also expertly made, and the name alone earns points. For our main we shared the fish and chips, and unfortunately it missed. The fish came out rubbery and the fries needed salt. At a seafood restaurant that's the one dish that should be automatic, so that one stings a little. We'd come back for drinks and apps without hesitation. Just maybe leave the fish and chips alone next time.

I've had good ceviche in the U.S. and Mexico and this was not it. The main entree was the Tacos Nayarit (fish tacos). The portions of fish were microscopic and also lacked flavor. The Spanish rice served on the side was the worst I've had in a restaurant. It was wet, old and gummy (see photo). The black beans didn't taste bad but they were superheated as if they were warmed in a microwave. Overall, the food was pretty horrible. Overcooked, dry, and honestly should never have been served. The most flavorful thing on the table was the green beans that came with it. And the price? $26 for that sad little piece of fish. $26.00. I'm guessing the Domain-adjacent location is why the pricing is so outrageous, because the quality sure doesn't match it. Service was basically nonexistent -- having to go to the bar to grab my own beer is a real turn-off when I'm sitting in a dining room paying sit-down prices. This restaurant is understaffed, overly full of itself, and I've had my last meal here. I'll stick with places like Shoal Creek Saloon and Deckhands -- places that still know how to serve good food at reasonable prices.

Came here with my fiancé over the weekend. First and foremost the service was great. Our server was very friendly and helpful. She also informed us that they had an all day happy hour so we ordered a pitcher of margarita. Everything came out fast, the flavors were great, and for the price the amount in the bag was great. Will definitely be coming back.

They brought a lot of their old menu with them which is great because I loved their viet food. The banh khot (turmeric pancakes) are still delicious, and their "chef's special" which is a very generous portion of fried fish filets in a tamarind sauce is a phenomenal dish, one that I'd come just to eat. The fish is fried super well and the sauce is incredibly flavorful. Don't sleep on the wings either. Good size, cooked perfectly (crispy and not dry). They're still transitioning from the old juicy claws menu so not everything on the old menu is available yet. But what is available is fantastic. The service is also friendly and kind. They're still clearly working out some kinks at the moment but give them some grace and you'll be rewarded with a really fantastic meal.
