The bread they bring out was actually very good when you dip it in the oil. And my wife loved her chicken soup. Salad was fresh and garlic dressing was mid to decent. The problem was the pasta, which was just about as bad as one would fear. It was supposed to be a garlic, lemon and parmesan spaghetti dish but it should have been called "Morton's Salt and noodles". Truly awful. My wife actually liked her spaghetti and tomato sauce, which I didn't try but I'm not sure I trust her opinion at this point. Needless to say, I will not return. Classic for a reason. I appreciate that Carrabbas keeps evolving while staying true to what makes the great. They're one of my favorite Uber Eats orders. I came in for the crab cakes which are a steal. They give you two large meaty crab cakes(no breading). Delicious. I also tried the shrimp and chicken skewers also great. I think chicken is better. Visited this local Carrabba's for a quick weeknight dinner. Wanted to try the new specials so I ordered the Cacio y Pepe Ravioli to start. This was good but I wish it was a littler warmer. It was super cheesy and I would def try this dish again! For my main dish I ordered the Short Rib Marsala and I really enjoyed the sautéed honey carrots that it came with. The meat was tender and the Marsala wine sauce mixed with the potato's were also amazing! I wish the service and pace was a little quicker but overall our server was very friendly. Dear Carrabba's Customer Service, I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration regarding your food preparation practices, specifically the decision to cook calamari in the same fryer or cooking area as shellfish. I am a loyal customer who visits Carrabba's once or twice a week, and the calamari is one of the main reasons I come in. Learning that it is cooked in the same fryer as shellfish was extremely disappointing because I have a shellfish allergy. Unfortunately, this means I can no longer enjoy one of my favorite items on your menu. Cross-contamination is not simply an inconvenience--it is a serious health and safety issue. For many people with food allergies, even small amounts of cross-contact can cause severe allergic reactions. I was genuinely surprised that a restaurant with Carrabba's reputation would not have separate cooking procedures for foods that are commonly ordered by customers with allergies. What is most frustrating is that this seems like a preventable problem. It feels as though the company has chosen to save money by not investing in a separate fryer or implementing safer preparation methods, and in doing so, has excluded customers like me from enjoying a menu item we have supported for years. As a loyal customer, this has ruined an experience that I looked forward to every week. I hope Carrabba's will seriously reconsider this policy and invest in better allergen controls so customers with food allergies can dine safely and confidently. First of all Our waiter Kayla's super nice and friendly because while I don't have a gluten allergy she totally undetstood why I have a preference. The salads came out really quick which goes to show the dedication. The salads that me and my dad got were incredible and was a great size for a side salad. As for our main courses I have never seen garlic mashed potatoes as a side on a plate so big before. The Salmon Capperi was awesome, cooked perfectly topped with the basil capers I love and I actually tried the sunflower tomatoes for the first time on top. Besides Carrabba's being just a couple of blocks away, it's always so good. Sometimes I dine inside or just do curbside. On Friday, I did curbside and all the food was piping hot. I ordered the lasagna with the Italian salad. The Italian salad is always good and fresh. The lasagna has a good amount filling between the layers of lasagna. The sauce is really good. Just ate half of it because I was getting full. Limoncello Bread Pudding is a summer item. The brioche bread is light and fluffy. It comes with vanilla ice cream and limoncello syrup. So, you take the ice cream place on the bread pudding and pour the syrup on top. So good!! The staff and management are always nice and professional. read more

Great experience every time! This Carrabas outshines all the others I've visited. Not even close. Im in Tampa 3-4 times a year and can dine wherever I want. But I make sure to have dinner here at least once per visit. Orlando behind the bar and Sofi the manager make the dinner experience remarkable. I should have viewed the YELP reviews before going to this location for to celebrate my friend's birthday. Truly, I understand the waitress was sorry for dropping a plate of food when rushing to serve us because we had a big party and the staff helping her didn't know who got what meal. BUT she didn't even clean anything and just walked off frustrate. Another kind staff member did clean it all up. The longest wait EVERRRR was for a refill for drinks and getting our tickets right. Eventually I was so annoyed and irritated that I just paid for some peoples food on my ticket because I was sick of waiting for corrections to be made. What a great experience! This Carrabba's might be part of the "chain" of restaurants many people don't particularly like to go to.. but I have to say, this Carrabba's is doing something right. Plenty of parking, located in the back of the building. There are two entrances - main doors, are handicap accessible and the side door is used for to-go orders. Three things that I loved about this place. 1. The waitress, Erica -she was great! Very attentive and kind. 2. The food- my gluten-free pasta was cooked PERFECTLY!! The filet, awesome! Nice and juicy, the way a steak should be made. 3. Management- What a great experience. I spoke to the manager to let her know what a great experience I had and she was kind enough to stop what she was doing, greet me, listen to me, and bond with me. I'm sorry, I didn't catch her name but she knows who she is and the hospitality industry needs more people like her! Great experience! Sorry, I didn't take pictures of my food because I was starving. A solid choice for a meal. I liked their bread dipped in olive oil/spices mix that comes to your table. I wish they had asked if we wanted more or maybe i should've asked if it was free refills because my kids ate them up! I got the unlimited lunch soup and salad. This meant if I finished I could try different ones the next round. First round I tried the Italian salad + lentil sausage soup (soup of the day). It had a bit of a kick but quite good! I do love lentil soups! Next round I got the Caesar salad (dressing on side) + chicken soup. Both soups were good but a bit salty. Salads were standard and good. Dressing on the side as requested! I don't like drenched salads. I thought about a third round but decided not to since I was going on a flight later that day. The bread tower appetizer my kid ordered first they said they were out, then it wasn't, which was a bit confusing. Not sure how they could've been out of bread if it seemed to be the same bread they served the table but in the end he got it and inhaled it. I didn't try it but I guess what's not to line about crispy flavored bread. There were a few kid meal options which I appreciated. However the mac and cheese my kid got was not what he expected because it was more penne with a thin cheese sauce but he still ate it. The pastas that were ordered in our party took forever which is the main reason for the lower rating. There was such a big gap between the soup and salad from their trios and the main dish. Horrible food, even worse service ! Unsafe parking lot! We live 3 blocks from Carrabbas! This week my neighbor ordered soup to go. It was raining. When she arrived, they told her the order was not ready. She waited 45 minutes in the parking lot. An Asian Man started honking his horn although she was not blocking his path. He drove past her and then got out of his car and started beating on her car ultimately breaking her mirror! She started calling the police and he drove to the back of the parking lot. Watched her for a while then sped off. The staff at Carrabbas told her they would have to ask corporate before they pull up the video. When the soup finally came it was cold. She told them the parking lot was not safe. This was the second incident in this parking lot. They were totally dismissive. read more

The Carrabba's on dale mabry in Tampa is disgusting. Was surprised and disappointed. I ordered chicken should come very and lightly breaded with a it came with a thick piece of grilled chicken with a tiny bit of brown sauce drizzled on it horrible that I couldn't even finish the first bite and it came with disgusting Parmesan fries that came hard and cold and not fresh at all. My son was with me & the hostess was very accommodating to help me with the booster seat so we could sit in a booth without my stroller being considered a hazard to staff. The A few years passed and a girlfriend wanted to go there for happy hour, and I was pleasantly surprised that the food tasted good again. The drinks were the same, always good, but the service is definitely slow. The place was clean & so was the ladies restroom which is a bonus. The employees are professional and polite, but slow. 3 Friends joined me at South Tampa Carrabba's for their fantastic wine dinner last evening. What an absolute pleasurable experience. The food was so fresh, the service impeccable, the setting was lovely. Music played in the background as 4 courses of the most delicious food was brought out to us by an energetic, positive server, Lexxa who seemed very proud of her presentation, and rightfully so. The Managing Partner, Bobby was brilliant regaling us with the history of the wines that accompanied our courses and about the food we were going to be eating. This was a true dining experience and I tell all who read this, run, don't walk to this secret gem of a meal. 4 courses of the most deeeeelish food, with wine, $60.
