After some back and forth in which I provided more context and he answered all of my questions, we mutually agreed on a solution that made the most sense. The quote went from being $2,000+ to about $500. I felt that his willingness to dialogue with me made all the difference, and I could tell quite plainly that he was completely honest, experienced, and also straightforward. Sure enough, he was able to work some magic on my catalytic converter, replace some spark plugs, and tweak a couple other things here and there. I originally took the car because it had failed an emissions inspection. When I arrived to pick it up, I found that he had taken the liberty of bringing the car to an emissions place and had already gotten it passed. The paperwork was sitting on my dashboard. It's been about 3 months since then; I wanted to wait some time to confirm that my issues would not return. I did NOT want to pay that much for a problem that seemed like it could be fixed by just popping the pieces of the bumper back together. Luckily, my friend told me about the Dent Repair Guys so I called the phone # to schedule an appointment. It was a bit confusing to find the location, so just call or text them before so they can direct you. The Dent Repair Guy took a Quick Look at my car and said it looked like it was hit pretty hard because some plastic near my headlight was punctured by the metal in addition to the bumper popping out. He said that quote I had from caliber would easily be increased to $4000-$5000 because they'd say to replace the whole bumper, grill, headlight etc. He quoted me just $500 to realign everything. I waited in my car and he was done in 25 minutes! Good as new! I was so satisfied and relieved to have saved thousands of dollars for such minor repairs. I shopped around a few places including the dealer and found Carstar to have the most reasonable price. The service was quick and the work was completed when promised. I will say the tech did make one mistake and somehow forgot to put the actual lock lever back into the door. I did not notice it due to the fact that I had a carseat on that side and never opened the door from the inside. Fast-forward 2 years, the carseats have been moved to the back row, and we realize we cannot unlock the door manually after my wife was trying to exit after sitting in the back. I stopped by and spoke with Reggie not really sure if they would be willing to do anything about it since it had been over 2 years since the work was completed. Even though the mistake was made before Reggie's time, he immediately apologized and told me that he would take care of it. I can honestly say I was a bit surprised as it had been so long before I noticed the issue, and it had taken me even longer to bring it in to have them look at it. Through the entire process Reggie has been awesome and as promised they replaced the missing lever. I can say that for any future repairs Carstar will be my go to repair shop.
