I was not very impressed by this coffee shop. It's tucked next to Lylo Swim Club so you park in the back and then walk towards the street. It's a little tricky to find the first time. I got a small iced americano and a French toast muffin - both cost $5 each which felt a little on the higher end for the size and quality. The texture and flavor of the muffin really fell flat for me; I can bake a better muffin. The aesthetic inside the coffee shop is cute and modern, but there's very limited searing and there is not a bathroom inside. The service was ok.

Nestled by the Lylo Swin Club is this cute and quaint Cartel Roasting location. This is more of a grab and go location as there is minimal seating. They had some delicious looking pastries, but my Yelp bestie and I stuck to coffee as we had just eaten at Lylo Swim Club. Loved the cortado for a pick me up. If you need to use the restroom, you will need to let the barista know as they share the bathroom located in the pool area. The barista will open the gate for you to walk in.

Parking tip: turn at the 3rd Ave light or worst case park at the hotel (but this can be busy) Coffee is great Staff is friendly Small cute location

Cartel Roasting Company has a relaxing, cool vibe. Very friendly staff. And I enjoyed an artful and delicious cappuccino and espresso. Who could ask for anything more?

Stopped in for a quick pick me up after lounging at the bar next door. Service was fast and friendly. I ordered a small iced vanilla latte ($6.00 + $0.75 for vanilla). It was good but not my favorite tasting latte. Love the vibes of the coffee shop. Comfortable seating and good tunes. Prepackaged food items as well as beans for purchase. Parking is a little tricky as it appears it's shared with the hotel and surrounding businesses and the parking lot is quite tight. The coffee shop is tucked away but has clear signs to show where to go to get your caffeine fix!

Cartel is my favorite coffee shop in the valley. This shop is one of the closest to me so I frequent this one the most, although there are many more around the valley. I will only buy my beans from Cartel. They have a wide variety of roast flavors and all are great. Their coffees are delicious and they have pastries and burritos available too. This specific location is a bit smaller and harder to get to as its next to Rise Uptown and on a main street but always worth a stop in. Quick, friendly service and cute shop!

I was staying at Rise and wanted to get coffee since they do not offer coffee. A few things to note: only 1 size of coffee, they only pull double shots, and limited seating. My first impression was that it was small but nice vibe. The menu on the wall does not provide a lot of detail but they do have a paper menu. No smiles, unwelcoming, and just rude when I ordered incorrectly or miscommunication. I will not be going back. I'll find another place. I didn't even feel comfortable enough to take pictures inside. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere. Also the coffee was biter. I'm from PNW and I know coffee. (Danish was not warm & stale)

Good service but the coffee was a big disappointment. Tasted more like mushroom tea than coffee. Prices are high and sizes are small. Overall, skip this stop

Tasty. But too PRICEY. Two potato small burritos, two lattes and it was 35$ The only reason I come here is because I stay at Rise Uptown Hotel often and they are connected. You can enter this coffee shop from the rooms at the hotel, the hotel pool, or off the main road. Staff is not very helpful when it comes to suggestions and they seem snobby to a degree, prob because they are a little bougie compared to other coffee shops, lots of different types of drip coffee and items to purchase. They have a cute little bar seating inside the pool area for the hotel with a large window to pick up coffee order. Overall the coffee is tasty. Burritos not so much. I'll only go when I stay at the hotel. I took 2 stars because it was OVERPRICED.

Not my favorite flavor of beans, their coffee is a bit bitter but conveniently located near the hotel. It's a tiny shop and clean with limited seating but employees aren't very welcoming or friendly.

I loved that this cute little coffee spot was by my hotel. I loved waking up early to grab my coffee and enjoy the early mornings. My vanilla latte was pretty good but the other coffee options were not good quality. I do however love the caramel banana bread So delicious. If they had better beans I think it would taste so much better but overall it was okay.

The cost of a Latte with Almond milk. I didn't even tip the girl because it was ridiculously expensive.

I Will never go back to any of the locations EVER again. I literally paid almost $8 for 4 shots of espresso, 3 ounces of almond milk & half a pump of lavender that cost me $4.50 a year ago and $5.50 a couple months ago. That's abuse! Yes there is inflation but that's obnoxious. I understand that you recently opened two new locations so you're at a time in your business that's fiscally risky but it's NOT okay to abuse customers that way. I will go to many other locally owned places nearby. Best of luck!

We got the Zinger and Here Comes the Sun breakfast sandwiches, the potato sidekick, kale salad, and botanical drinks. I love that they have 2 caffeine free "tea" options! The eggs in the sandwiches were the perfect level of just slightly runny. And I don't know what magic bread they use but it never feels overly heavy. The potato sidekick is amazing! I would order that again to take home and serve with dinner. I love the kale salad and it never disappoints. Cool and sweet and getting your greens in is a win! It's not a huge sandwich, so keep that in mind. The breakfast sandwiches don't come with sides so that was kind of a bummer as my brother got chips or a salad with his lunch order. The latte was very sweet, but I enjoyed the flavor. I love almond, and it comes through strong which was nice. Not a huge coffee flavor though, so maybe an extra shot of espresso will be the trick next time. The service was nice though. We were greeted and walked through the menu and process, which was cool. They have an orange juice machine and some nice alternative options to choose from, so I'll be interested in coming back to try them.

I was pleasantly surprised to find out that Cheba Hut is a cannabis-themed sub shop eatery, and parking ended up being manageable. The place was very busy when I arrived, so I grabbed a seat at the bar. The bartender was clearly juggling a lot but stayed friendly and personable. The place was super clean, and I immediately loved the laid-back neighborhood vibe near Roosevelt Row. I ordered the French dip sub along with a munchie- pretzel nugs. Cheba offers three sandwich sizes (Nug, Pinner, and Blunt), which makes ordering easy depending on your appetite. Everything came out fresh and flavorful, and the pretzel mugs were especially good, soft and salty, Parking here is a little more limited than some other locations, but overall I really enjoyed my first visit and was happy to learn there are multiple Cheba Hut locations around town. I'll definitely be back.

I read that their parking lot fills up quickly but that there's a public lot across the street, so I parked there and crossed over. This cozy restaurant was fairly busy and we perused the pastry case while waiting in line, lots of tempting treats. My friend ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes which are topped with blueberries. A lot of their menu items have pork in it, but they were good about substituting. The burrito usually has schreiners chorizo, hash browns, cheddar, sunny egg and chili oil with side of salsa verde. I asked for avocado instead of the chorizo. We brought our own drinks so didn't order any. We grabbed a table on their patio since the sun wasn't over our heads yet. It's nice out there and I think they have some fans going to keep the air flowing, and there was also a natural breeze. Our food came out and they were plated beautifully. My burrito looked good, but it had too much hashbrowns and also there wasn't any chili oil, which was a bummer. Maybe they normally put it on the chorizo so they forgot to add it to my avocado. The egg was runny which I like: The salsa verde was delicious; I love cilantro and it had great flavors. I tried the pancakes and they were fairly rich but I liked the tart lemon flavor and the blueberries, one of my favorite fruits. This is a nice place to meet up (small groups) and I'm glad I visited again.
