Electrician Lance Raby from Carter Services , did a terrific job replacing my 4 older bathroom exhaust fans with 4 nice silent panasonic fans from Amazon Lance was courteous , knowledgeable , explained what he was doing , was meticulous in ensuring the ceiling around the new fan was in good shape after he completed the job & cleaned up all the broken ceiling stuff - before he left When a switch did not work as expected he promptly returned to fix the problem the very next day. Called on a Tuesday and setup an appointment for a dryer that wouldn't heat they scheduled the appointment for Friday, they called a day early and had time to come that day. Within about 30 mins they repaired it. They actually had the part on the truck. Very professional and great service. Our 48inch Wolf Range/oven is 28 years old. We Received an appointment very quickly for our Wolf Range! Carlos is a top notch professional who came out to our home. He throughly inspected our range and oven and diagnosed all of the issues. He began contacting office to get quotes and availability for parts. And I received an estimate to proceed within an hour. Within 2 weeks we had our range back in excellent working condition. One week was over July 4 and we were out of town. I really wanted to give this a higher rating because we used this company in the past and had good luck. However this time even though the lady on the phone was super nice and helpful the technician Sergio was very rude and charged double what I was quoted on the phone. He did not even have to order any parts and was a very quick and easy fix.. I would say if you use them get your quote in writing and maybe not ask for Sergio, hopefully you will have better luck.. read more

Really loved the recent experience i had with Carters at one of my rented properties. I was not able to attend and they had to work with my tenant directly the entire time. for every appt i booked, they booked directly with my tenant and arrived exactly on time, along with that they sent text notifications and picture of the person arriving always. Once they completed the job always, they would call me while still at the property to give me updates as well. We signed up for Carter's Grand Slam Plan, which include: HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing & Appliances. We had Omar Lopez come out two days. First day was to repair corroded water heater on/off valve. He explained why the corrosion occurred & showed us two other pipes that had problems so we elected to replace them before they started leaking. He also took off unnecessary strapping from the water heater. And replaced old thin copper pipes! Second day he came out to replace a EVERHOT hot water tank under the kitchen sink that we've had for over 5 years. Another plumber mentioned that we should replace it a year ago & we agreed, but he never returned! Omar checked the faucet when we told him the water pressure was very low & he found calcium deposits in the faucet & instantly the water pressure improved. Omar is in charge of the plumbing department at Carter Services & we can see why! He listened to our concerns & explained what he was going to do & why. He is very professional & helpful. Mixed review. Carter's first attempt at replacing my gas fireplace pipes under in my crawl space didn't happen because the plumbers were misinformed about the gas line codes in a crawl space. Their manager called and requested that Carter Services have another chance at performing the job. The second attempt went very well employing new technology fittings and most of the first attempt's bill was applied to the second attempt. In the end, A lot of time was wasted given that even before the first attempt, the Plummer that came out for the assessment wouldn't even go under the crawl space without a second person to spot him. read more
