Wow! Talk about perfection and simplicity of a process. The entire process was extremely easy and intuitive. I liked the option of having the car picked up from my house for a small fee. The only annoying part was making the mistake of letting the quote expire due to my busy schedule and the re-quote was extremely low compared to the original quote. I had to wait for another two weeks and get a new quote which was lower than the first quote but higher than the second. I settled for that and I completely understand Carvana's position! Lesson learned and will definitely do business with them again read more

bought a wrangler from this location a week ago. the gentleman who helped me out was fine, pickup was smooth, but the car was filthy. once I got home I found tons of hair and crumbs all over the vehicle. not something I'd return the car over, but left a horrible taste in my mouth. I took it in to a Jeep dealership for an inspection, and much of the basic maintenance that I'd expect to have been done by a used car dealership, especially one as reputable as carvana, hadn't been completed. of course, maintenance isn't covered by the warranty. it's going to amount to about $600-700 of extra out of pocket costs that should have been done by Carvana prior to selling the vehicle. I likely won't purchase another car from here, just really left a bad impression. read more

Abandon all hope ye who enter here. Underneath their slick website are shoddy business operations and a service team that can't be bothered with your order. I purchased a vehicle from Carvana on May 1. The online signing process worked well. I lined up financing and was ready to take delivery on May 11. All was well, until my vehicle delivery was delayed until May 19. Fortunately i have my sister's car to borrow, but i can imagine that many people wouldn't take kindly to losing wheels for 8 days. On May 19, i received a call to cancel my at home delivery because there weren't enough drivers to deliver my car. So with another 8 days to make this happen, Carvana couldn't line up a driver. I agreed to an Uber and to pick up the car in person. Fortunately I'm only 10 minutes away. Two hours before the Uber, Carvana called me to inform me that the car was not presentable for sale. I asked them to make it presentable and call me back when the car was ready. At least this person was honest; he told me that probably wasn't going to happen. The car was covered in a strange white film and damaged. He told me too get a refund. Only, turns out you can't get a refund if you haven't taken delivery of the vehicle. So I drove to the Carvana location to speak with someone there, but no one was there. Apparently it's by appointment only. Since i was there, I was able to get pictures of the car sitting on the lot, and i confirmed it did indeed have a strange white film all over. It also had damaged exterior plastic on the doors, maybe in the sun too long? Finally, i called the customer service line. A helpful rep was able to process my refund. I'll still have to wait three days for Carvana to mail my check back to my credit union. I'll get my money back at least, but am still without a car three weeks after starting the purchase process with Carvana. read more

Updated status: After about 60 days of not having my vehicle it was finally referred to Ford, an actual dealer instead of Pep Boys which is the "preferred warranty shop" and the diagnosis, this is AFTER $3700 in warranty claims paid to Pep Boys, was for a complete engine replacement for $16,000 again, paid by warranty. So $20K in warranty payouts it seems to be running okay now. I only paid $24K for the vehicle. Not sure how Carvana and Silver Rock stay in business?? read more

Big scam. They advertise make your own deal but that's a lie. The only thing you do is simple math. The more down the lower the payment .Wow that's not making any deal. How about the price and the interest rate. How about letting customers change the price and the interest rate . That would be making your own deal. Your cars are priced to get Carvana maximum profit. And you get a kick back from the banks. Stay away from any seller that does not allow negotiation. They are not looking to save you money but to maximize their profits. read more

I was a bit hesitant at first. I'm use to the traditional sales crap. Carvana made it easy and less stressful. I found a truck I wanted. Saved it as a favorite, thought about it and made the decision a few days later to purchase and trade in my other car. When I went to go purchase, the truck that I been thinking on was now pending purchase and I was crushed. I put the notifications on it just in case it came back into play and 45 mins later I got a message saying it was available again. LUCKY. The online process was remarkable. We got a great deal on our trade in and the new purchase. The pick up of the car from Westminster just wasn't smooth. The car wasn't detailed. There was old food mashed into the speaker grills. The roof of the car wasn't washed. The seat belts in the back were stained with food and blue markers. The warranty they provide doesn't cover any cosmetic damage they tell me, even though it wasn't described in the listing. And they haven't offered to cover a detailing the car should've received before sale. The car also clearly hadn't been serviced as two diagnostic codes immediately popped up when we left the lot. But the roughest moment was having to wait around for an hour as they were confused that my bank had fedex'd the check directly to them instead of my having it in hand. At every stage online it was clarified that the check was going directly to them, at Carvana's request. Photos of the check were submitted along with photos of the fedex tracking number. There was a conference call with my bank and a Carvana agent. Etc. It was a baffling experience that made it take longer than any regular dealership. All that said, the car in general is great and the price was right. read more

Worse decision ever!! I trusted the 12p inspection meant my 2019 Honda Pilot was in great condition since it cost $23,999!!! Unfortunately I didn't notice the dings, cracked windshield and bald tires until few days later. I called Carvana, it was like, "Too bad, you drove it off the lot, now your problem"!! Then two tire blow outs found out car needs new struts for $1400!! Transmission started slipping but I didn't know that's what it was. New transmission now needed, too!!! Not to sound like a commercial, but this was the easiest thing ever. I put in some information about the car-- odometer, condition, how we owe on it-- and they gave me a quote and allowed me to drop it off 25 mi away or for someone to pick it up for $90. I picked the latter. They gave me reminders on both what to have (keys, ID, remove license plates and personal items) and what to do after (remove from insurance and DMV). They came during the window they said they would. Looked at the car, took a pic of our IDs. They agreed to pay off the car and handed me a check for the balance. I will say, Carvana took me through a journey. I bought a 2018 BMW 530e from them, and traded in my 2021 Kia K5. I was really excited to try this purchasing process out, as it was advertised to be very quick and easy. Unfortunately, there were multiple delays in my car's delivery. But they compensated me for the inconveniences, still honored by appraisal for my K5 even after me putting on extra mileage due to the delay, and we're very responsive with customer service. Once the car arrived, it was honestly all worth it. I love mg new car, and I even found an imperfection when delivered that wasn't solicited. I'm in the process right now of getting an estimate on the dent and having it fixed thru Carvana. They have been nothing short of helpful throughout the entire process. The facility was well designed and the car vending machine worked. The staff was friendly and helpful and the transaction at the location was smooth. Their check for the purchase of my car cleared with no problem. All good. The problem is that I didn't receive copies of some of the documents, including the bill of sale. I believe this was by oversight because I saw them while in the store. They just didn't make it into my exit packet. I have contacted Carvana's centralized customer service three times to get copies of the docs. They have been polite and seemingly intent on getting me copies of the transaction docs that must be in their system. It's been a week and nothing. read more

What a joke. I was looking into selling my car. I put in my info and got a quote. I wasn't ready to sell so it expired. I tried again after and the quote went down $1000 , after only 10 days. I tried again when I was ready to see and of course it was lower by another $1000. I put my info in online and could not go past a certain step. I called the cust ser number and was told there was a glitch in the system. I was told to try later. I called a few days later to follow up and was told it was because I had not submitted documents; so I did and nothing. No one contacted me and then I get an email telling me my offer expired. Save yourself time and energy and go to CARMAX....it was such a smooth transition. I am so sorry I wasted my time with CARVANA. CARVANA responded with a canned reply. They didn't even address the fact that I was waiting to finalize my trade-in and then I got an email saying that my quote had expired. This was after they told me I had to wait till they contacted me after reviewing my paperwork! Apparently the right hand does not know what the left hand is doing in that company. It is difficult to send them the wire. It takes 3 days rather within the hour so your money is just floating in space and they can't confirm if they got it. The app is very clunky and doesn't update your progress well. They try to make you talk to an AI chat bot when you have issues and it is terrible. Very long wait times to get a live person and only during business hours (no weekends). The car vending machine is a lame gimmick to try and get you to post to Instagram. The workers that give you your car can not help you with anything if there is a problem and they are not knowledgeable at all. My car was filthy when I got it, had tons of dings and scratches not listed and when they drive it up they ran the rims into the red curb! Ah! Just as I'm supposed to drive off with it. I asked them to fix it and they gave me a warranty phone number ugh! The worst customer experience of all time - Unless your deal is unbelievable, DO NOT buy from Carvana. They are just terrible. This has been the worst experience. We scheduled our pick-up appointment for 12:30pm today. I called and confirmed our appointment last night, and again this morning. They advised that everything is all set for 12:30pm. At 11:30am this morning I received a call from a very rude Carvana driver, she hardly spoke comprehendible English. She rushed me off the phone and informed that she'd be changing our appointment to 2:30pm. Its now 3:45pm and no word from her or anyone. I've tried calling Carvana to check the status and nobody has been any help at all. They just put me on hold while they try calling the Montebello hub and can't get anyone to answer the phone there. Our whole day has been a waste. My son's best friend has a birthday party that started at 2:30pm and he's missing it. We are all just sitting here frustrated and upset wondering what's going on. This has been such a horrible and taxing experience. I've asked several times to speak to a manager and although I've been assured of an immediate callback I have yet to hear back from a manager or anyone. read more

Great shopping experience. Easy, without pressure or haggling with some greasy sales manager, and the online, prequal, approval process took about 5-7 minutes total. Took me about half a day scouring cars and down payment terms (some as low as $200 down, some way up there, but they qualify you for EVERY CAR, and based on vitals, you know what your minimum down is for THAT vehicle). My purchase, 2018 BMW X2 s28i, 8k miles, $1,000 down, and I have some bloat (high totals on CC's) on my report that I was going to wait to clear room for before submitting any finance apps, decided to take a chance here, I'll just refi in 6-8 mos after rehabbing my report. Good business model, never knew much about Carvana besides the name and the vending machine look. I REALLY REALLY like this process, minimal haggling and time saving. Definitely will be back for the next car purchase. Pickup at the location, 15 minutes total, including quick solo test drive down Springdale. Car was very clean, some scratches that were noted on the ad weren't there, appears that they were buffed out, and the car had a full tank of gas. Nice! read more
