We go here often and are never disappointed. The food is the best Mexican in the area by far. It's a small place but the food is worth it.

Just walked out with my daughter. They didn't even acknowledge us ... finally after 10 minutes a waitress comes up and asks if we know what we want to order. I kindly asked for a menu since we had not been given even that. We weren't asked for drinks either. I waited another 3-4 minutes but still nothing with menus. So a grabbed my daughter and left. This place is absolutely amazing and I mean that from the bottom of my heart the staff was amazing super friendly and welcoming. Now on to the food I got the chicken flautas plat with rice and beens and 3 shredded beef tacos with cheese the is hands down the best Mexican food I have ever had it is absolutely delicious I am a truck driver and I park at the truck stop next door and I will be here to eat for sure every time I come into town. I do not remember the young ladies name that helped me but I came in on 11/9/21 at about 8pm. Really almost 3.5 stars. Food is good but a little expensive for takeout. Chabelo's up the street is just as good on food and has $4.99 specials all the time. Chips and salsa good and come with plenty on takeout orders. Will try again, but there are other options in town I would prefer. read more

My husband and I were at Lake Castaic with our dog. We found Casa Lupitas on Yelp. With so many chain restaurants and a big truck stop, I was happy to find a local restaurant. I had the Veggie Burrito and my husband had the California Burrito. Very good basic Mexican food. We ate outside, where our dog was welcome. We will definitely go to Casa Lupitas again. read more

I was excited to eat here after reading all the reviews. However we didn't find the food as " authentic" or delicious. Yellow cheese is not authentic and it was on everything. The enchiladas I ordered were just ok, the carnitas torta and the tortilla soup were good, but nothing to write home about. Coffee wasn't great, tasted a little bit burnt and the aguas frescas come from a machine. read more

Stopped going because on two occasions they wanted to charge me extra $$ for salsa after I spent $65 on meals. I would expect to get enough salsa for my meals that were purchased and not pay extra for salsa. To be fair the food is good and this was before Covid-19. read more

Quite possibly the best service I have ever had. The restaurant itself, is small, and there isn't much seating options, but we fit okay. I have a big family, 4 kids between the ages of 7 and 1 years old. We drive down to SoCal from the valley for our baby's drs appointments and we had been in the car already since 3am, then a tiny drs office, then the car again. And it was about 5-6pm when we finally decided to stop here. My kids were tired and rowdy to say the least. But our waitress went above and beyond for our kids. My daughter loves shrimp cocktail, and they made her, her own custom non spicy cocktail. And one of my older sons spilled his drink and she helped us clean it fast and without a fuss. Not to mention how sweet she was with our baby. It's usually hard for our family to feel welcome anywhere with that many kids, especially on a rough day like the one we where having, but she made sure we felt comfortable. I could never thank her enough for her kindness! Also, the food was pretty amazing! One of my goals in life is to be able to make my rice as good as the one I had with my enchilada. Which was also bomb! We will definitely be stopping here again in the future. read more
